Currently there is no queue. But funds from the fees will be paid with the priority for active miners, as I said before. So, if you leave, the rest of miners will receive it faster.

dumb assumption - we lost money not due to security breach, not due hardware malfunction but due to programming/pool operator error - you know, nothing  can save from that.

Just another RL example - ZFS is one of the safest filesystems in the world when it comes to saving your data from hardware errors - my ZFS pools survived everything: hard drive data corruption (PATA cables, remember those 40/80 wire ribbons?), hard drive failures, even faulty RAM didn't cause any (visible) damage. But there were cases when they failed miserably - like I've done "weird thing" which in my understanding should have worked (but it still doesn't work), or I've been running one pool with checksums disabled - HDD failure led to "weird restoration" bug - raidz drives were restored using data from the blank drive (that is - zeroes only) - nasty solaris bug, or (LOL) dedicated server hosting company has lost 3 of 4 hard drives fom my server during the move - I plainly couldn't imagine that case (flood/earthqake of fire are hard for me to imagine as well).

What I'm talking about above is "human stupidity is endless and nothing can save us from it"

If Baltazar will decide to return stolen (supposingly by some thiefs, not by him) funds within 9-10 months according to plan - this news will distribute very quickly along this forum and  due to low reject rate of ltcmine.ru many of miners will return back and belief in Baltazar honesty will strengthen a lot - that'll bring more new miners, and even antyGMO will recolor himself from russofob to russofil

The problem is purely in a way how will he do that. "Return" using higher pool fees will mean that the ones who lost "almost nothing" and newcomers will be paying to the ones who didn't give a flying f**k about what they had on their accounts. Return using profits from the pool income - is more preferable but doesn't give any estimation on time spent for that.

Finally - who cares where this Balthazar is from? E.g. I can create almost any virtual identity and claim that I'm from any english/russian-speaking country, even provide address and phone

I liked the pool, it wasn't great, but nothing is perfect and there is always room for improvement. Enyone could have his own pool, but not everyone have enough skill to do this propertly and second thing is responsibility, this is major part of any business, especially when you have people working for your profit (miners).

To be a good company you must have good skills not only with hardware and software, but also great communication skill with people.

In conclusion: I count on you, Balthazar to solve this big problem. I know this is a lot of coins but in the same time i have faith in you and your IT experience and i know that you can eventually came up with good idea to provide to miners their lost funds.

PS, sorry for being rude, but im really in bad financial situacion and have my own problems.

I was really meaning my greetings and cheers to Balthazar (as a pool OP I don't think he might have stolen his own funds) and that would be cool that you edit your message removing this so-simple ltcmine / hypernova comparison. That's not really the subject here.

I dont know what happen with all funds. But one thing is for sure, that many people lost their litecoins, and pool owner, Balthazar don't want to help to recover these money. I dont even have money to pay electricity bills, because of his mistake with coding and ultimately lost all ( about 100) ltcs from my accound. We dont even have straight answer what will happen, if we have a chance too recover funds or not.

Hypernova is legit, ltcmine.ru with is owner not, so its not comparison. Because Hypernova is working and with full strenght and russian pool not. So once again. Check out hypernova.pw. My friend told me about this and i dont regreting mining with all my mashines on their pool.
I wont make another mistake to not withdrawn my ltcs, because there are automatic paymants, not like i was on ltcmine.ru. I lost my money partially because lack of simple thing, like automatic paymants.

You're comparing oranges to apples. No errors happen if you don't do anything. And effect of the error depends on pool size and coins price. I remember when pool.itzod.ru has lost a block (found and some software BS happened next) - Balthazar had purchased missing coins on the exchange. But that was 50 BTC, like $200 at the time - not really a big deal. Here is another situation - the damage is somewhat beyond what Balthazar can take out of his own pocket. I don't think that any pool will pay you anything at all if such shit happens to them. Unless they are insured from such BS.

Regarding total size of missing funds - seems it's just what miners were mining in a week or two - so it's not that much outstanding. You don't want to see delays when you press "withdraw funds" instead of withdrawal, don't you? this means large pool must have large hot wallet - and yes, the resonsibility is higher as well.

Auto payments? well - someone could set them to 100 ltc at a time as well - getting exactly into your situation...

Democracy is better, when people are free and have their own will, their not threttend by goverment. It doesn't really matter how and by who i get back my ltcs, the thing matters most is when exactly I can  recover it and of course full amount or not. If i lost 10 ltc i would give them to you. In this situcion i can't.
I set up my miners back to ltcmine.ru. You have my support.

BTW i know monarchy is better, when lets say "king" is wise and good for people.

Hi Balthazar,

I'd like to voice my support for the plan going forward. My user on your pool is thefirstnutzo, so I was in the category of ~200 LTCs. What happened sucks, but shit happens. In hindsight I never should have had that many LTCs sitting in the pool, that was clearly my mistake. Unlike some on here, I think you've been doing a pretty good job of explaining whats going on and how we're going to move forward. Obviously this wasn't planned, so you, like the rest of us, was taken by surprise at the start and wouldn't have magical answers at hour zero.

I tried several pools before settling on yours, and I settled on yours for a variety of reasons. I have liked yours so far. I'll continue mining with you and I hope that others will as well.

AntyGMO, I'm glad to see your tone improving. Your sharp tongue really wasn't helping anything (I understand your frustration, but it still doesn't help anything) and it will get you in trouble some day.
