Здpaвcтвyйтe Бaльтaзap. Cкaжитe пoжaлyйcтa, ecть ли вoзмoжнocть yвидeть cкoлькo вceгo нaмaйнил? Я пoдключилcя зa пapy днeй дo зaмopoзки cтaтиcтики(тaк вoт мнe пoвeзлo). У мeня тaк и виcит 5.5 нo пoтoм фepмa y мeня вcё paвнo paбoтaлa, a кoшeлёк я eщё тoгдa нe пpoпиcaл нa пyлe.Taк вoт дня чeтыpe нaзaд пpoпиcaл и нaчaли пpиxoдить чepeз двa дня лaйты. Ho cдaётcя мнe чтo нe вce, a лишь тe чтo пocлe пpoпиcывaния aдp кoшeлькa нa пyлe. Кoнeчнo этo вcё мeлoчи, нo вcё жe интepecнo. И кcтaти, cтaтиcтикa бyдит paзмopoжeнa? или тoлькo кoгдa бyдyт выплaчeны вce дoлги?

I liked the pool, it wasn't great, but nothing is perfect and there is always room for improvement. Enyone could have his own pool, but not everyone have enough skill to do this propertly and second thing is responsibility, this is major part of any business, especially when you have people working for your profit (miners).

To be a good company you must have good skills not only with hardware and software, but also great communication skill with people.

In conclusion: I count on you, Balthazar to solve this big problem. I know this is a lot of coins but in the same time i have faith in you and your IT experience and i know that you can eventually came up with good idea to provide to miners their lost funds.

PS, sorry for being rude, but im really in bad financial situacion and have my own problems.

Responsibility can't go beyond what is declared - I haven't seen TOS/AUP on any pool (there is sort of rudimentary AUP on Balthazars pools about botnets) and what I observe is "best effort" policy while he could plainly say "f**k it! I'm out!". Good communication skills? "been there, seen that" - 20+ years of Ukrainian history is a bright example of "good communication skills" - when people are lured into "bright future" beliefs and elections turn into a way to make money by promoting as much political powers as you can at once or get attention to easily solvable local problems.

As to financial situation - living from mining? There's a guy here, Maniac or something like that - he claimed to do so... But that is really stupid. My mining doesn't affect  my family finances in any serious way (ah, ok - sometimes I invest "extra income" into mining and other businesses, sometimes I spend "mined" funds). Basically mining is used to fund mining which is then used to fund mining Smiley. Unfortunately, power costs differently in Ukraine, starting from 0.02$ and going up to 0.12$ for people (the less you are using the less the price is basically), businesses pay 0.15$ and twice that amount if they exceed their declared power usage. So I have to stay at the "safe" $0.05/kWh at home=1kW from wall Sad

Thats how it is, because of global goverment European Union etc. But how we can change it for better? Personally i have enough of seeing what is happening with goverment, what media saing for stupid masses. If only people see what is really going on, then maybe they could revolt and refuse this. Prices going up, taxes bigger and bigger. People have hard times, not only in east, but believe me or not also in so-called modern west Europe.
In colnclusion, money is importand like never before, and in my situation even more than u think. (no job at the moment, because of my health problems)

https://github.com/CryptoManiac/stratum-mining-proxy

why litecoin proxy won't split large difficulty shares into smaller one, like it does for bitcoin?

Seems one of us has incorrect understanding of what is mining. Mining is like filling (endless amount) of lottery tickets, then someone wins and splits income to everyone who took part.
Shares with difficulty < target (that is lots'o'millions for ltc) are worthless (cost 0) and you get paid just for participating in a pool. So what mining proxy should do for you? You can't assemble a higher diff share from lower diff shares and pool will not accept lower diff than it is requesting.

Though mining proxy was very buggy for me Sad - rejects were over 50%.

Actually I thought about diff-1 support removal for bitcoin also, but some old bitcoin miners works incorrectly with the difficulty greater than 1.

You are right. Todays democracy looks like that. Hidden "bosses" and slaves (most population) The fun factor of this system is that most pepole don't even know that they are slaves. They think they are free and have rights, but is exactly opposite.

So i hope we can have real democracy here as it should be. But if you think, Baltazahr democracy is corrupted, then we need another form of power here.

Baltazar, have you got any news in terms of frozen funds? Is there any real chance to recover them and if yes, then how long does take to complete all of them.

Thank you Balthazar for the updates with the json formatted files.
Keep up the good work.
I don't mind the front end being so simple, as long as you're working on the payment algorithm and fair sharing of pool mining.

I seen, but didn't answered yet.

Received a PM with a suggestion to truncate recent statistics, and performed a small research. Data about pool luck and the old miners activity was collected, so there is something new in the current situation, more info will be published soon. I'll be able to send 2/3 or even full amount of rewards immediately, if the last week of statistics (from 22.06.2013 to 29.06.2013) will be truncated before payments calculation. Not so good solution in terms of popularity (this could be really shocking for a new miners), but I think that it's a far better than continuous nano payments from the fees.

But I prefer let people to say their opinion, so wait a few hours for data, please.  Roll Eyes
