No, it is a bitness, nothing more.

Even if it was, I have committed no acts of fraud.  It's all good.

If you have a way to make more than 1.2-2% interest/week, every week, why do you ask your parents for money?
I don't know, to be supportive?

Dank Bank does not simulate any financial institution.  You're saying IBB and any other loan taker is fraudulently simulating a financial institution, which is simply not true.

Hell, you might as well claim Bitcoin is fraudulently simulating the federal reserve.

I did not need rent money, I wanted rent money so I can further focus my energy on guitar.

Why did you want your parents to be supportive of you if you have a method of making more than 1.2-2%?

So I can grow faster, is there an issue with parents supporting their son?

I'm really curious, has anyone tried gazing directly into their eyes, for 30 seconds, in a mirror?

When their son is jobless and not going to school, then yes -- yes there is an issue with that.  It means that instead of being an adult and learning to balance hobbies and work, you are simply taking handouts from your parents.  Even if you have plans to turn your hobbies into a profession, if and until that happens, you need to earn your own money and not accept handouts.  If you have a method for making more than 1.2-2%/month, your parents should see you as independent and no longer a child who needs their support.

So I can grow faster, is there an issue with parents supporting their son?

I'm really curious, has anyone tried gazing directly into their eyes, for 30 seconds, in a mirror?

Curious, I did. Boy, that was weird. I really was doubting you, but after almost 25 seconds of smug self assurance, something happened.

I fucking saw something.

Something started to subtly dance all around me. The colours I know I should have seen changed, dimming rapidly. My focus went from the image in front of me to somewhere a thousand yards away. Something was fighting to come out, something I thought I could fight back forever.

I saw... I felt my aura, for lack of better words.

The in the pit of my stomach, something starting gnawing at me. Was it self-doubt? Was I finally in the presence of something I couldn't explain, that was tangible proof of my soul? After all, if this was possible, what else was?

Almost a minute in, it finally happened. Something that I just had to share with everyone today. Something that I almost wished I could have recorded somehow, to be able to share with everyone I knew.

I let one of the most epic, awe inspiring farts I have ever known fly. God damn, I wish you could have been there to witness it. The perfect storm storm born of midterm energy drink abuse and what must have surely been one of the incredible General Tao take-out I ate this year.

I mean, I actually felt my knees wanting to give out under me. I actually had to hold on to the counter next to me.

After all was said at done, basking in the feeling of accomplishment and manliness, I looked into the mirror once more. Winking at the sexy beast that met my gaze, I rubbed my eyes for a second, and allowed my vision to balance itself once again.

I distinctly remember saying to myself that what had happened to me must have been more of a proof of the existence of the god than anything you wrote. After all, how could we be able of such feats unless we were part of some grander design?

Regardless, had I not taken the time to wander in my own eyes, I'm not sure if I could have escaped my daily grind long enough to focus on the perfect storm caught in my loins.

All hail dank, bringer of farts!

--

Epilogue

I'm not even going to bother with the science behind your little trick, I'll just say "palinopsia". If you ever want to edumacate yourself, google around. If you'd rather stay at the level of 12 year old girls  daring each other to stare into a mirror while saying "bloody Mary" three time while holding a candle at a slumber party, meh, go for it.

Stare into this for 30 seconds, then look at your hand. Knowing you, you should rationalize this as a religious experience too!

So I can grow faster, is there an issue with parents supporting their son?

When their son is jobless and not going to school, then yes -- yes there is an issue with that.  It means that instead of being an adult and learning to balance hobbies and work, you are simply taking handouts from your parents.  Even if you have plans to turn your hobbies into a profession, if and until that happens, you need to earn your own money and not accept handouts.  If you have a method for making more than 1.2-2%/month week, your parents should see you as independent and no longer a child who needs their support.

Because getting four years of your life paid for, by going to college, is in no way a handout.

It's actually an investment, but then again you wont see the difference between that and playing Bloody Mary while masturbating to fantasies of rock stardom.

No, it isn't. You see, you have to do homework, take tests, study, WORK.

A concept completely alien to you.

College isn't sitting in class toking up and then writing down whatever shit crosses your mind.

YOu have to apply yourself in classes, like you failed to do with your business plans. You have to learn things, another thing you failed to do in your business thread, you have to apply knowledge you have aquired, another thing you have failed to do in threads.

You know what, DON'T go to college. Don't take the seat of a person who wants to be a decent student.

Continue begging for money, running your penny ante schemes, and dreaming of being a rockstar in less than 90 days.

How old are you going to get before this isn't you just sponging off your parents? 18? 19? 21? 25? 30?

Are you going to be some pervy fat weirdo who thinks he can play the guitar but sucks and lives with his parents all your life?

Quote from: dank

Because you are a sponge. Yeah, you return to your "investors" who you consider people investing in you having a nice life and comfort, when in reality it's just you taking the equivelant of payday loans and begging your parents for money to cover the interest.

Giving you money isn't an investment, it's merely supporting a deluded child who thinks the world owes him a living.

You know, I don't normally say this, but you are someone who could benefit from a few years in the Army and a tour or two of Afghanistan.

Oh, playing guitar doesn't take work.  The strings move by their self.

You're advocating your form of work is superior to others.

I don't live with my parents, I'm in shape for the first time in my life, I even have a six pack, never woulda guessed.  I thank karma and love for it, since years of working out with ego and negativity never got me anywhere.

Oh, yes, killing people is way more beneficial than spreading love through music.

A hobby < a 4 year commitment (or whatever) to a career.

I have hobbies too, and put plenty of work in them. I could make money from them if I choose, but prefer to work towards primarily towards an investment of my time instead of a way of simply passing my time.

Then there is also the whole "started playing a month and a half ago, brb rockstar status in december" thing, at least if you had an ounce of modesty or some grounding in reality...

But nah, you're right, better to gun towards that dream of yours. The delusions of grandeur will only make it work that much faster.

Tried playing an open mike yet? Bet people will just loooove you, especially with the poser attitude.

Well if careers are so superior, why don't we just make a federal law requiring every human being to have a 'career.'  Who needs freedom, when fgervais can choose for you?

Superiority is disgusting.

Implying that one needs a university diploma to have a career.

Fine, be a drifter, constantly switching from one dead-end minimal wage job to another, "asking" your parents to cover rent and depending on mystery checks.

Oh wait, billionaire rockstar shisha bar owner 1000 acre land developer seasteader in 10 weeks. My bad.

And I already hear you cry "but that was last year, doesn't count". Bitch please, you were begging for 5 mil in February.

Oh my God, the thought of Dank playing an open mike is absolutely hysterical.  I wonder what kind of bs reason he'll come up with for not doing it though.  My bet is he'll claim his 6 collage town doesn't have a club that does open mike nights.

I think the plan right now is to pull a 2.5x Woodstock out of his ass before the end of the year and play for the first time ever in public a melody that will make literally hundreds of thousand panties drop at once.

Or something.

I am a different person, completely, from February.  You're not open to freedom of choice, it seems.  One needs nothing other than the free will to do as they wish.  Hope any children you may have doesn't have their own dream to follow, your expectations will be crushed.
