Is this guy for serious? Whoever deposited money in this guy's "bank" (it's probably just used to pay back credit card loans of 'Dank') is out of their minds. I wonder how many days until Dank's "Bank" will close down.

It's a low risk bank according to when it was set up.

I wonder how many days until Dank's "Bank" will close down.

It may never shut down if he never gets any "deposits".  A ponzi can survive for years if it's not popular.

Of course it can.  You just do like Dank does and pay out of pocket (i.e. parents) for the interest.

I invest deposits to make a profit.  If Dank Bank was a ponzi and I was lying about it, it would fail due to bad karma, but it's still here, over three months since fruition.

Didn't you buy a guitar tuner with your last deposit?

What sort of investments is Dank Bank currently involved with?

Also, are there any alternative plans beside making large amounts of money with music? It's just that in 2012 it's extremely hard for an artist to make the same amount of money selling digital music as it was back when selling a million CD's was common place. Not saying it's impossible, but it's going to take some new trailblazing marketing techniques I would think if you're not connected with the established music industry insiders. Maybe something to do with bitcoin? Maybe get people buying music again using bitcoins, that would be cool.

Right, that is what Dank Bank is for, giving money so you can make purchases.

Since when is three months a long time? You have not even been doing this a year. Also, you could say it has not failed, but it sure has not been very successful either.

Not true.  Dank Bank is obviously a ponzi.  It hasn't failed because you are still in the trust building phase - you haven't yet reached the point where it is worth it to disappear.  As long as your parents keep supporting you, you'll stay in the trust building phase, paying off all interest, hoping more fish will bite.

I'm confused.  So this dude makes a deposit, which you use to buy a guitar tuner.  ...What happens when he wants his money back?  Assuming it's before you're THE WORLD'S GREATEST MUSICIAN EVER, where do you get the money to send to him?  Are you going to have to return your new guitar tuner?

Yes he does - he just lies about it.

I'd be lying if I said I never paid a loan off with another loan

But if Dank has no intention of ripping people off and not paying back his depositors, is it really a ponzi?

I mean, yes, when you look at it in a vacuum, someone offering weekly interest at the rates that Dank is, it would appear to be a ponzi. But other than the mathematical signals, it does not appear to be operating like a ponzi in any standard sense.

2) He wants to remain anonymous
3) He won't explain how he makes his money (and he needs handouts despite)
4) The majority of users view it as a ponzi

When you combine that with 1) Rates are unsustainable, then all the signs of a ponzi are there.  Don't just believe that he has no intentions to rip people off - he is very interested in money and he has been caught in numerous lies already.

2) He wants to remain anonymous

Really? I did not know this. I'm actually very surprised at this because I would expect that this would be impossible anyway with Dank's plan of becoming a famous musician. How would it be possible or even feasible to do this anonymously?

Dank, can you address any of mlawrence's concerns?

I've shown my drivers license to two parties on this forum, other users know my address.  I will not reveal Dank Bank trade secrets, at this time.

You SA goons are the only people who view Dank Bank as a ponzi.  Please, show me where I lied (consciously lied, not an error in my words that I later corrected).

I'm currently paying 1.5 BTC weekly interest, there's nothing unsustainable about that.

There are no dank trade secrets.  You use new money to pay old debts.  I've caught you in lies numerous times in this thread already - not going to rehash them - tell some new lies.  Most people view your ponzi as such which explains why you are not successful in stealing people's money.  Finally, 217% interest a year is unsustainable.  If you make MORE than that in your "trade secrets" (profit to buy guitar tuners, etc), why did you need rent money from your parents?

You're incorrect, people like you have been calling me a scammer since I joined.  Over a year later, I'm still here.  What long term offers haven't turned out to be scams?  Dank Bank, are there any others?

If you can't even show me where I lied, you're clearly lying.

Seriously, what idiot would name himself 'dank' and spit all of his spiritual beliefs on the internet, with the intentions of scamming lots of people?  Wouldn't I want to blend in, just a little?
