Here is away for everyone to chat real time about everything going on the cryptoworld. Yes, there is a forum on site as well which I would love for it to take off too but my sole purpose of the site was to have a site where people could chat live with one another. We will be adding specific chatrooms for subjects such as: General, Mining, Economics, etc.

We are looking for experience members in the cryptoworld to become moderators of the site and I am looking for suggestions on what people would like to see added to the site that's not on other sites currently. This site is in beta and will be going through a lot of changes in the near future.

Yes, I have not always been the most active person on BCT doesn't mean I am a noob though.  I have been apart of the Netcoin Foundation/Team for almost 3 years.  You can ask s3v3nh4cks if you'd like I have known him ever since I got into crypto.  The Crypto Chat site was a test beta project that never turned into anything.  I no longer own the domain; therefore, I have no ties to the blacklisted domain you listed.  Thank you for information though.  Have a great day.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Great!
I have build a small temporary Website for CON for updates
If you want to add relevant links (facebook?,twitter, slack channel?) and more, pm me or post it here
http://www.paycon.xyz

I think the site is a good start to a great site. I would suggest that the forum section background be changed so the text is easier to read. Since we do not have an official site I think this should become CON's new site. I would like to have the Twitter link update to the Twitter I run, https://twitter.com/pay_con.

I own paycon.info if any one has any suggestions what we could use the URL for.

https://paycongroup.slack.com

I sent invites out to everybody in the old slack group. Anybody else can PM me an email address and I'll send an invite out.

http://www.paycon.xyz

Updated Twitter and slack and changed the forum section  Cool

Hello Guys,

The Paycon.xyz website was just a temporary website,
I created this page very fast with the the Canvas website builder App on my hosting provider and it is very limited.
 .
You Guys should create a better Website and I will redirect paycon.xyz to the new Paycon Website.
http://www.simpl.com/ Is a simple website builder for example.
Who knows some good simple website builder?

I redirect paycon.xyz to this bitcointalk-forum as from now on.

Here are the sources:

[CON] We Don't Deny It

Specs

    X13 - POS/POW
    Block Time 60 Seconds
    Max Money 20,000,000
    Diff adjust per block

POS Block Rewards

    2 day Minimum Stake age
    14 day Maximum Stake age
POS Starts at block 7200 at 50% reward per year
POS changed to 30 Coins per Block at Block 50,000 (Feb 3rd, 2015)

Features

    Built in Block explorer
    PayCon swappable themes
    Statistics page
    Social/Exchange tab
    CON for Charitity
SplitBlock GUI, Date range GUI in transactions and much more

How does PayCon Proof of Stake work?

Proof of Stake means proving ownership of the amount owned through time. When someone sends Coins to your wallet they are encoded with the time at which they have been received and begin to accumulate Coinage. Coinage is measured by the amount of Coins times the number of days they have been stationary in your wallet. After 2 days of being stationary in your wallet, Coins will be eligible to "Stake" and will compete on the network to prove ownership. Coinage accumulates automatically, you do not need to have your wallet running but once your Coins are past the minimum age of 2 days, they will only Stake once your wallet is open and connected to the network.

You can gain the most Stake reward by managing the sizes of your Blocks with Coin Control, you can select multiple smaller Blocks and send them to yourself to combine them into one larger Block so they Stake sooner, or select a larger block and send smaller amounts to yourself to so you have more Blocks competing on the network for higher rewards. Each time you send a transaction, it costs 0.05 CON and it resets the Coinage back to zero to begin accumulating once again.

Your reward per day and per year is based on the amount of Coins you own, the sizes of the Blocks of Coins, and the amount of people Staking their Coins on the network. If there is a low amount of people Staking their Coins, smaller Blocks of Coins will Stake sooner for higher rewards ie. If you Stake but other people do not, you receive the rewards that they would have received.

If interested in an explorer that blows every other one out of the water you should check out the Block Explorer at http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/paycon/

I have always focused on Colossucoin/2 as it is my one and only coin for many years (since Sept. 2013).
Thanks for your understanding

hi!!, as always im here to ask something, since a week ago or so im having some troubles with the wallet, the problem with it is that it freezes and i cant open it, it seems it keeps staking because i can see the "mined" confirmation in a popup, but as i cant open the wallet i have to close it by force with the admin task manager and when i do that i must resync the wallet completely because it show an error message when i opened it again.

I wonder if someone has the same error Huh or if it is something known, and how could it be solved. THANKS!

Could you tell me a little more about your issue?  Operating system, exact error?  I am not aware of this being a common issue at this time.  I've had the wallet open for days without issues.

hi!, well, my pc is a laptop (Acer) windows 7, the problem is that my wallet freezes, i have the wallet open 24/7 allways showing the list transactions, but very often when i try to min or just take a look to the wallets for example it doesnt answer, i got another pos wallet and it doesnt have this problem, so i have to close the wallet with the admin system manager and if i try to open it again i have to resync all the blockchain again so it takes some days to do so.

This sounds like a lack of memory needed compared to wallets and programs you are running.
Go to task manager and check on the Physical memory that is being used. When it gets over 50%
you may start to see small delays as it gets higher, things may appear to lock up.

One possibility to consider. Others may have better ideas for you.

I agree with @Woody20285 it seems to be a memory issue.  What are your block sizes?  I would suggest starting your wallet and turn staking off immediately.  Then go into coin control and combine your blocks into larger blocks.  May also look into increasing your stake interval.  As blocks split and you have many blocks it can increase the memory usage.   How much RAM does your laptop have?

PayCon will be removed on 27.05.2016 from C-cex if its average trading volume for the last month has not exceeded 0.2 BTC/day (or 6 BTC for last 30 days)  Angry

C-cex has delisted CON. If it is removed this would be a big loss for CON. Let's not let this happen.

They constantly monitor volume as they are in business and make no money if no volume. If we each buy and sell a little, we can keep the exchange. I will jump in but, it takes Mors thzn 1 person.

De-listing is avoidable if only more people supporting CON like before but it's different now.

De-listing is avoidable if only more people supporting CON like before but it's different now.

I think we still have enough supporters to make it happen. I know I will be buying some to help.

I will also be jumping in to buy some.  Anything helps at this point.  There will be more things to come in the near future if all goes well.  We can make CON something great and be successful.  If anyone would like to contribute or help please contact me.  Also, suggestions are always welcome.

Just bought almost 12,000 and placed a buy order for over 12,000 more.
