Well, when I run qmake I get probably 20  "Warning: ignoring <defaultcodec> element" notices, but it seems to finish fine. then when I run make there are a lot....

There are more than that, but there are mor than the 64000 character posting limit. When I tried using QT creator it said that there were like 2500 errors or something crazy. If I delete the folder I extraced from the zip and try QT creator again, It will seem to work, But when I try to run it I am met with....

If I keep trying to open it I keep getting the same error. Lots of tries, and several reboots, same results. How would I go about running it with no wallet?

You may have low coin count. Many of us are 1MIL coins +, so if you have say under 100k, that could be the issue. You are competing for POS blocks against everyone. Not saying this is the problem, but if you have under 100k , it is a strong possibility.

Edit: Maybe I'll just use one of the pools, I've never used a staking pool before...

Edit2: It seems none of the pools work, only the suprnova pool provides a valid page but says it's in maintenance mode. These issues do not make this coin attractive to investors.

You have to create it here
C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\10k

Open notepad, add nodes than save like all files, name 10k.conf, restart wallet.

Edit2: The warning is still there but I now have 3 connections and it is syncing, looks like I'm good. Thanks again for your timely responses.
