What's the best way to gather currency to get to ultra?

The simplest is to simply make a deposit to make the upgrade ASAP. That's what most of us end up doing.

Another route would be to build villages and upgrade them to max your dragon point production. But this would take quite a few months, during which you could be earning the ULT daily bonuses. So it's better (IMHO) to just do the upgrade ASAP and then earn the money back with the higher bonuses at the ULT/ULT+ level sooner rather than later.

You can also try to accumulate funds through trading - a wide array of things in the game can be traded, so that in principle you could raise quite a bit that way. But trading on the exchange tends to be slow, at least until we can get more players involved.

A new food item has been added to the Eatery. This new item can be found in the Thaine's Brewery tab in the Eatery building in town.

Consuming Valerian Nectar will fill your hunger to max at the cost of 20k fish per bottle. Use this item in the Food section of your Inventory.

The Dark Wizard is amassing an army to the east and is preparing to invade Valeria! Preparations should be made to protect your Kingdoms villages. The Dawn of the Dark Wizard begins in 38 days..

Once the new dawn begins the Dark Wizard will attack one random village every 4 hours. The amount of troops she sends will be based upon the Village Hall buildings level. Level 1 villages will be attacked with 10 of each troop while a level 100 village will get attacked with 10k of each troop.

If your villages defenses manage to beat back the Dark Wizards forces then you will be rewarded richly with experience.

If your defenses fail then your troops will perish and your village will lose 5 loyalty. If your village is already at 0 loyalty then your village will be captured by the Dark Wizard and teleported away.

Prepare your villages, the Dark Age comes..

Regarding the Dark Wizard invasion - will our Tactics score help in the battles with DW?

Thaine mentioned needing something like 20K troops of each type to be secure against DW with a L100 village. Does that mean DW will have some kind of advantage over our troops?

Tactics will help yes. For the troop amounts, you won't need 20k of each troop. 11k of each troop should defend against any attack from the DW regardless of tactics though.

A couple of things have been updated, Exp Exchange and Gym. It will now cost more to use both of these functions.

Looks like there has been quite a big going on - I need to start playing DK again - I had to stop as it got too addictive =)

The new boss battle resets daily at 11 AM. Use the status menu up top (list icon) to gain access to this boss fight.

Two new chat menu options have been added.

The first one is Notifications. This is where stuff like troop recruitment in villages will be posted. In the future more stuff will be added to it.

The second one is Private Chat where you can chat privately with other players by chat commands.

To send a private message to another player type the following command replacing 'player' and 'message' with the appropriate information

The new Dark Dragon boss has been modified. Rewards are now based off of the amount of damage you do. The more damage you do the bigger your rewards will be.

The new changes have not been tested yet so if you encounter a bug with it once it resets please let me know immediately.

Ah, yes of course. Thank you for the info. Just clicked on it and realised I'd completed most of the tutorial just by exploring and fighting haha. Wouldn't have died 3 times if I'd found that link first. So much like me to just rush in.

I've been working on redesigning things and the page load speeds quite a bit lately so you should start to see improvements in it as time passes.

On the top menu there is a key icon where you can disable certain things in game to speed up the page loading time as well such as disabling the left menu, removing parts of the top menu, and turning off chat.

A lightweight version could be possible in the future but it wouldn't be high on the list as I would have to rewrite the game again and I just got done doing that. Took me months and its only me lol.
