Would AM and shareholders be better off, if we stopped solo mining and joined a pool? I realize that it's just variance, but there comes a point where our hashing power(as it stands) will probably be unlikely to solo mine a single block in a weeks time so it might be better to have consistent dividends.
No, please don't give the god-damned pools any more hash power. The variance is fine for AM, they'll win some and lose some but it is more important for the AM team to not miss a minute of time working on the new systems to launch... |

No, please don't give the god-damned pools any more hash power. The variance is fine for AM, they'll win some and lose some but it is more important for the AM team to not miss a minute of time working on the new systems to launch... Au contraire. Just don't give certain pools more hash power. The pools need to be balanced so we should support smaller pools which have about 10%. In fact, AM used to poolmine until approx. June 2013 AFAIK.... |

0.00026655 share price will be 0.1 BTC soon ... I really don't understand why people still buying AM shares at 0.7 BTC .. Even if they tape out Gen 3 now, it still needs at least 2 months to increase hash rate .... |

I really don't understand why people still buying AM shares at 0.7 BTC ... blablabla Even if they tape out Gen 3 now, it still needs at least 2 months to increase hash rate .... so what? I don't understand FC communication behavoir either but: Look at dividends of apple. According to your logic apple should be worth nothing!  Stop the FUD, troll! *If* AM chips really get to 0,2 W/GH they will sell like hot cakes! So even in bitcoinland a company can't be rated by dividends only! |

This thread sure has some new people who have no faith:( This is the ONLY stock that is bitcoin only that has proven itself. I am not as much of a shareholder as I used to be, but man oh man am I happy with the overall performance of this stock over the last year. It has been a rollercoaster but a for sure thing if you hold the best investor trait.....patience. Good luck Friedcat! I am waiting to see the rabbit pulled out of the hat!  |

i think AM is doomed, people desperately trying to push the price up in a last ditch effort to get out. With so much more competition coming AM doesn't stand a chance i get the feeling FC doesn't really care anymore because he's working on something else without investors. Try and get out while you can. AM is a good way to turn 10 btc into 1 btc. 90% risk.

The divs are terrible, but to be honest I'm much more surprised by how good they were last week than this week's small number.
There is huge amounts of hashing power coming online from rivals every week, and its only increasing. AM has no product to compete.
So divs will be very close to 0 soon and stay that way until Gen3 comes out.
So we all have to deal with that reality. Either bail out, or just wait for Gen3.
Something from FC very soon would be nice though. No post since December 10th isn't good.

As soon as they are, yield (as displayed on Havelock) will drop significantly and we will see the real panic selling. Those who sold out already (today) are the smart ones. |
