I previously made a weekly update on Asicminer news... i did that for two weeks and people loved it. I always intended to go back in time and compile the full backlog of data into a usable format, but have not had the time.
I am open to multiple ways of how to pay the guy, you can send me tips and If I get enough tips to cover his costs, I will just release it for free. If no one puts up any money, I will buy it myself, and try and re-sell it here. If some group of people want to go in with me to help make the thing, and then as a group try and profit from it, that would be fine too.
We have yet to discuss any prices here, the bulk of the work is just removing troll posts, which is really easy, but time consuming.

I like the idea, and I think we could easily crowd source the funds required here. I'm not sure a pay for access system is the best, because the people that want this information handy are also the people that want to reference it here in conversation, so it's going to end up being somewhat free anyways. The next question is, will there be a plan in place for keeping it updated? Perhaps you can use it to start a wiki type website, where we all can work to keep it going? Edit: Sent you some funds.

I intend to keep it updated myself, if for nothing else then my own usage. The only reason I stopped my weekly updates was because I got distracted going through the backlog of information, and then just did not have the time. You can find my old weekly updates here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/18ZQsYx0dYWV-mlO8szVAYKJfaVZMueH_crS0UMzBfbk/edit?usp=sharing I was always evolving the format and information as people suggested things. Turns out I did 3 weeks before I got stuck... Thank you for the donation! I agree I would love to crowd fund this, but if that fails... I do not plan to let the project fail. Any donations sent to my address 1AahzKNU7NgNJyQPx7BJDLSiFRhgSA2P7c for the near term will be used for this project. If for whatever reason the crowd funding fails or is not adequate, or maybe the work is not of reasonable quality, I will re-fund coins to the addresses they came from.

But no one's currently gathering questions, or am I missing something here? aazh is trying to hire someone who will go through all the pages in this thread in order to gather all the valuable information and leave out the smalltalk and FUD

Gathering questions has never been the problem, getting answers is. the last full round of questions never got answered at the salon, and as far as I have seen that "exclusive" interview never happened.

I would highly recommend following this page for more information on their miner: http://www.iasicminer.com/index.php/action-channel-name-newenYou'll have to deal with the Google Translate barrier unfortunately.

Thanks for the input! The only thing I can seem to see though is a post about the specifications of that miner and the only thing showing up is a large question mark. :-/ Doesn't seem very promising. But I guess we'll see some development soon.

Any information about some kul aid website being somehow under development? It would be quite an edge considering the fact that they seem to aim at more internationalisation and worldwide cover..

Based on the latest information, it appears that they are hiring so if there are any web developers interested can apply for a job. Right now all their expertise mainly in the hardware R&D area (while lacking in other parts).

Everything is better than those half-baked Chinese websites from hardware manufacturers that don't have the slightest clue about web design or public relations. I'd hate to see AM go that way!
