can't wait to see the crowdsale out of the way hoping it will be the last. it's affected the market too long.
then amps can finally fly free

I don't know why people view the upcoming crowdsale as bearish for the price.  All the new crowdsale does is put more peoples' skin into the game and set a new price floor where they buy in at.  They won't want to sell any lower than their entry price, because it would be for a loss, and they will expect a similar ROI as the original crowdsale participants achieved.

It dilutes the market with more coins.

Think of it like Satoshi's coins coming into the BTC market...It will cause a huge dump.
Also when MAID devs announced they gonna sell their stash, price went down 100%

Same might happen to AMP....it might fall back to around 7-8k imho..

Lets see.. Smiley

I don't think so, mostly just because of Steem and people can see the potential for social media blockchain projects. (Having a crowd sale is also different from devs dumping their stash) I would guess the price will actually be a bit higher then as more information will be out. Assuming the market likes it and believes it compares well to Steem and legacy social media systems.

i think the markets are betting on a price in the crowdsale of $ 0.1 .  big crowdsale buyers might get them at discount 0.08$ but I don't see AMPs being offered any lower than that.
before the crowdsale launches I'd like more information. especially on how Synereo compares to Steemit, Yours and Akasha.
Steemit uses a centralized website and relies on centralized media hosting sites which is not the fully decentralized experience I was lhoping for. From what I understand Synereo is fully decentralized (??)

Here's the breakdown:

Synereo is fully decentralized.

Steem is a centralized scam.

Yours and Akasha, nobody's ever heard of them and nobody ever will.

How can we trust your further coin release plan?
I mean in the initial post you said this :

18.5% were sold in the initial crowdsale.
10% will be used to compensate users as they join the network, invite others, and contribute to it.
7.5% will be awarded to content creators who begin operating on the network. We already have a few major musicians waiting
to join and distribute their art on Synereo!
10% are awarded to the founders of Synereo, vested over a period of 30 months.
11.5% are kept for bounties, awarded to contributors and developers.
42.5% will be kept for future funding rounds. We aim to have two more, spaced 1-1.5 years apart, each providing the necessary
funds for the next leg of the project.

If the 18,5% crowdsale is done and 46 Mio being sold how can the total supply be approx 1.541.600.000 ?

I mean how can we trust the Synereo Team on the coin release roadmap if they didn't do the initial crowdsale as intended ?

I would like to have more transparency on future plans, this is very important to get trust from the users, which is basically the base of your idea?
You need a big community, rather than like 100 scammers who try to imitate a decentral facebook.

Not sure where you're getting your math from. ("18,5% crowdsale is done and 46 Mio being sold how can the total supply be approx 1.541.600.000")

The funding plans have literally been 100% transparent and public since the beginning - there's no room for improvement there.

Yes, the Synereo community has been growing steadily, and has recently began to hit what appears to be the exponential beginning of the curve.  It will need to keep growing this way.

i am just wondering because you said 18,5% crowdsale.
Since the crowdsale didn't release the full amount of 369,600,000. and instead just 50,000,000.
So my calculation is now 18,5% should be 50,000,000.

So the total should be : 270270270,27027027027027027027027 ?

So you burn the same ratio of all wallets?
Otherwise the crowdsale isnt weighted as 18,5% of total supply?

maybe i am just getting it wrong, but that's how i understand it.

That is pretty much it, it has to be a normal 2 key pair wallet though. I highly suggest you follow the guide closely and try it with a test amount first, all the way through the cycle. As you are being your own bank here, no room for mistakes. Currently I keep my AMPs in cold storage on the standard 2 key pair Electrum Wallet. I made the guide myself as I couldn't find a simple guide out there for doing it. I went overkill on detail in the guide, but my AMPs are safe now. Smiley
