I am not quite sure what your current holdings are, but would that equate to about 250,000,000 AMPs going to be burned?

Most AMPs will therefore be burned from our Future Funding Wallet, leaving most AMPs meant to facilitate network effects untouched.
This is what is allowing us to burn $100m worth of AMP, representing 33% of the tokens Synereo holds.

Such a high token burn is quite unexpected. It surely has an influence at the price. I see coinmarketcap is showing Total Supply = 622.410.799 AMP
Could the team please confirm this is the correct figure?

and it's funny cause myself and many others have said they neeeed to burn AMP and get the supply down....OH LOOK 1 year later they "decide" to do it (of course after much accumulation) and the price magically pumps lol.  as usual.  we know how this will go....as usual.  maybe ampers will be lucky and it can sustain a higher floor since there will be 100mil less coins.  but meh.  even still.

Without knowing much about the AMP story, at this price, I am willing to take a shot. Look at the chart! NO one wants it. If anything have decent comes out from AMP then look out because massive upside. No investment advice but a small bet on this is not such a bad idea. Lots of worse coins out there.

I highly suggest you do your own due diligence before buying into AMP or any other project. In my opinion, any investment in Synereo above all other projects requires a huge understanding of its shady history: a big crowdsale in 2016 promising many things (Rchain, Special-K, attention economy token) and the project currently being developed is completely different (allegedly an attention economy token, with a much poorer approach than subsequent tokens such as BAT) and no refunds have been paid so far to investors who did not agree with the change (loss) of scope unilaterally decided by Synereo devs.

Good luck to you brother. I am also holding lots of AMPs hoping it will go back to its previous bitcoin ath price. Volume improves a lot and I am surprised Upbit also have AMP market.

Following my maths, there should be - depending on what price was used to determine the value - at least 200-250.000.000 coins burned. Current price is some 40 Cents, and the blog post says they'll burn 100 Million USD worth of AMP.

Can anyone answer that question? I think the team is surely able to answer that one. Token holders must understand that before investing. The team must be more transparent about everything. We are only going to have a strong community over solid grounds of transparency.

Where can we find the updated roadmap including the date when this centralized tool will become really decentralized? I mean, this is open source, better than Hashgraph, but at the end of the day it is not decentralized yet.
I could only find general topics in the last roadmap.
