101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: June 17, 2018, 03:49:31 PM
Just realized that Monero auto withdrawals do not reach my wallet since 6 of April. Used the wallet for a long time, it was ok till the 6 of April.
Is it known problem related to the fork, or what?

Did you update your wallet software?  Last payout I received from pool for monero was 6/1 and it went through fine for me.  My wallet is v0.12.0.0.

Yes, had updated to the latest 0.12.0 - this is how I knew there is some real problem, before the update I was OK thinking the cause is my outdated client.

The last tx I see in my wallet is "e4f4" with Blockheight: UNCONFIRMED. Following 13 txs are lost.

I see what you mean.  I'm not a monero expert but I noticed I had created a new address for myself back in Nov.  Is it possible that your payout address was created with a much older client and therefor stopped working with the v0.12.0.0 update?

Can you post one of the TXID links from that MPH transaction page you screen shotted?  So like one of these pages:
https://xmrchain.net/search?value=e3f690901d6914b672ebe78cf6d6fceaff3aa5f46d9d30d0206a23048e1d0ded

Just curious to see what it says.  They all say confirmed on the MPH page there.

Looking closer at the screen shot of your client, why does it seem to say that the e4f4... payment which MPH sent on 4-10 was only just received on 6-14?  That certainly seems odd.  Actually can you post the xmrchain page for that TXID?  Your client says unconfirmed for blockheight so that seems like a good one to examine.  I'm starting to suspect your client may not be syncing quite right, or at least not decoding transactions sent to it.

103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant X10 vs Innosilicon D9 Decred on: June 16, 2018, 03:10:01 AM
I was recently doing a similar calculus.  I just bought a BK-X (arrived yesterday in fact).  Basically because it has more options to mine, and they can add algorithms.  When they released this as the X10 it only mined 5 algorithms and they added two more.  It seems likely that they will mine for themselves initially when they build the miner software to mine more algos but they did in fact eventually release the firmware to mine the other two to everyone, so it's certainly possible that they could continue to add more later.

The decred miner is less versatile and in the longer term that means it will probably have a shorter useful lifespan.

I don't have the money to buy all the miners that come out, but I like to diversify a bit.  I think the BK-X is a good choice for something that is likely to make money over the long term but some of the single algorithm miners can make really good money if you get in on an early batch.  But the way things are going, single algo miners are a bit of a gamble.  The recent X11 miners burned everyone who bought one.  But some of the various blake algo miners made insanely good profit for the first people who got their hands on them.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: First time ASIC buyer (z9 mini) on: June 16, 2018, 01:49:25 AM
This should be applicable: https://www.antminerdistribution.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/AntMiner-S9-Installation-Guide.pdf

Batch two of the Z9 may not be a good purchase (I purchased 1 batch 1 and 1 batch 2).

I plan to try and mine the equihash multiport on MPH. https://miningpoolhub.com/?page=gettingstarted

It takes a bit to understand how MPH is working so you may want to mine a pool where you mine one coin directly.  Also, it sounds like right now not every equihash pool is working with this miner, although I expect that to change by the time batch two gets sent out.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Z9 list of working pools on: June 15, 2018, 01:23:04 AM
I can confirm that PPNLS payouts with Antpool is not working but PPS is. Also my Freq is 643 & I'm getting an average of 15.4ksol

15.4 KSol = Almost my 3 rigs full of 1080TI and Titan Xp, but less power efficient :-)

Significantly, I'd estimate that overclocked z9 is running at under 500W.

It is using 387 watts at 15.4 ksol

Antminer Z9 mini running on 387 watts, overclocked to Freq 643? Are you sure? In that case I can connect 4 miners to EVGA 1600 P2 power supply and overclock them to 643 freq?

Hay buddy, my Z9 hasn't arrived yet.. have you got it working overclocked at 643?. what pool are you using?... Cheers

Was using Antpool but been using https://bitcoin-gold.miningpoolhub.com/

These are my payouts for BTC Gold

106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dwarf FPGA – the anti-ASIC on: June 14, 2018, 12:59:02 PM
I support people's right to be stupid with their money.  But this attitude that the people who are calling attention to all the red flags are self-righteous or annoying or otherwise just bothersome is something I will never understand.  Some of the people who willingly gave over their life savings to Josh Garza were also ardent supporters of him and took every opportunity to complain about people calling attention to the red flags there, and yet in the end they were scammed out of their money.  Some of the very same people posting in this thread calling attention to all the red flags here were posting back then calling attention to the red flags in that scam, and yet here we are, people acting annoyed at the very people who are trying to warn them.

107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dwarf FPGA – the anti-ASIC on: June 14, 2018, 12:42:25 AM
This thread will turn into a screaming, foaming at the mouth, threatening to get a lawyer, "why didn't anyone warn me", "why is crypto so evil" thread soon.  This is why we have to put warning labels on everything anymore and people claim they still weren't warned... Get your popcorn cause I think it is going to get fun to watch! LOL

Greed often impairs good judgement.

I would have bought some of these but I spent all my money on new bitmain S11 miners.  I'm gonna be rich!  Rich I tells ya!
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I'll PayPal someone $50 to help me TeamView configure my d9 decredmaster on: June 13, 2018, 12:53:03 AM
If klwolf2000 can't help you I am willing to help you for free as long as it doesn't turn into an ordeal.  I haven't mined decred specifically so I don't know the pools and exchanges and it sounds like klwolf2000 does, so probably he should be your first choice but if you are unable to get the thing working I am sure I can help.

BTW, it looks like 1 DCR is worth $85 dollars so dude is asking more than you offered.  Just sayin'

Tracking number received, delivery on Friday, June 15 by DHL  Grin

Wow.  You are going to make a killing out of the gate.  Be interesting to see how this plays out longer term.  I am waiting on a batch 1 Z9.  Was hoping they would get out of China a little sooner.  Well some did, I guess I was hoping that mine specifically would.

Getting this while mining ethereum or ethereum classic on mining pool hub, other coins seems to be working. Ethash works fine if on some other pool what could be the problem ?

Did you try asia or US server just for troubleshooting purposes?

Please MPH it's been ages of the same coins,  please allow us to mine on your pool and utilize our hash better to make more for all. You are #1 when it comes to Baikal's hopefully you will let us mine nist5 (bullwark) and quark (alqo) in the algo switching.  Thanks for your consideration.

Second this.  In fact I was just going to inquire, why is there a quark port listed in the help section but no quark pool?  For the baikal-X or X10 or whatever they want to call it, quark and nist5 are the most profitable algorithms usually.  MPH already has a setup to take advantage of the other algos on these miners it would be helpful to add these two most profitable algos as well.

Guessing that nist5 isn't likely though since bulwark isn't on any of the exchanges that MPH uses for auto-exchange...  Hmm maybe answered my own question about quark as well since it also isn't on those exchanges.  It's a bigger project for MPH for sure but maybe time to add cryptopia to the auto-exchanges?

--If the NiceHash CNV7 pool works, that would be a great start!
NiceHash pool works fine.

--I will admit I think its a little weird that they are doing a pre-order if they don't need the money!
We derive some sums in crypt. But most of the payments go through the bank.
And yes, the whole batch was prepaid.

--tin foil hat on I thought the domain was a little odd since its a sub domain
This is NOT a domain. This is online store service. What sense to reinvent the wheel again?
But it's very logical to draw up a bank account, paypal, board production and all this anonymously. But the domain can not be bought anonymously. Domain is our excalibur. The highest guarantee of reliability.

--Dwarfminer, how are you able to extract 7Kh/s out of that little chip at 10W, when the guys over in the other thread can only get 14KH @ 150W out of a full blown, $3500 Xilinx FPGA?
The Xilinx chip was designed specifically for mining?

--If I were you, I'd produce 1000 and run them myself and just dump whatever I mine to make a shit ton of $$$$.
1300 was distributed to the developers, do not worry.
Some of them were sold in bulk.
Some were paid, then buyers asked for a refund and it was sold again.
In reality, we sold even more than 5000.

Well I don't know about anyone else but those are some seriously confidence inspiring answers right there.  And they all make perfect sense and line up exactly with everything else this person has said so far.  Roll Eyes

Why are you people on about an MOQ?  The only mention of an MOQ with this miner was from a forum person in the other thread.  Innosilicon has said nothing about an MOQ and if you go to their website you can order the friggin thing right now with a quantity of 1, a fact I mentioned 5 posts up from this one.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4432819.0
the forum already has this topic, you do not need to produce duplicates

Yeah but technically this one is the official announcement from the manufacturer.

Also, the other thread mentioned an MOQ of 100, looks to me like the website allows you to buy a single unit.  That's an important thing to note.  If it ships in 2 days and does 50k sols and it isn't a fire hazard and doesn't break right away, oh and also doesn't need a near constant babysitting to keep working properly, then hell it might be worth it.

...to protect the network against the potential 51% attack from the elusive GPUs and hash monopoly.

What is that a confession?  Nobody believes "elusive GPUs" were behind the recent 51% attacks on equihash coins.  Meanwhile, oh look you have this massive asic miner all built and ready to go and nobody knew about it.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain launches the Z9 Equihash miner on: May 31, 2018, 11:38:39 PM
LOL, my order was literally five minutes outside of the first shipment... 22:26.

My order time is also just outside of the shipment but my payment time is much later because my BTC transaction didn't get picked up in a block for like 20 blocks or something.  The screenshot they show is weird though if they mean payment times.  I would have expected the payment times to have much more duplication and be spaced further apart.  I realize people could pay in more than just BTC but shouldn't orders be grouped according to block confirmation times?  Some of them are in groups of 6 or 8 or so at the exact same time, but the groups are just seconds apart in some cases which makes it not look like they correspond to block confirmations.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain launches the Z9 Equihash miner on: May 31, 2018, 11:03:14 PM
This is pretty concerning if the pools are rejecting the hash for these miners...  I would love to know how they were tested before shipping if they don't work with any pool....

Seems like they must have been working fine for the 51% attacks on BTG  Wink

Just sayin'
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dwarf FPGA – the anti-ASIC on: May 31, 2018, 09:04:22 PM
I went through the order process so got as far as getting the BTC address and reference to send to but no further
I responded to their emails stating concerns the item did not exist, asked them to send any evidence that they even have multiple units as there is only a photo of a single unit

They sent me the BTC address within a few hours
But a few days have now passed and I've not heard anything back at all

Sorry but a genuine seller of anything will do what they can to put the buyers mind at ease in order to close the sale

Pretty certain it's a scam... I might be proven wrong but at least I've not lost any money!

Can you post the BTC address?

--What chip, or even brand are you using?
It is not Xilinx/Altera. Spartan-III  can get 1.3-1.5 kh/s, it's true. But most part of the resources will be spent on AES implementation.

@not.you: that link you posted gave the exact same message like I showed above. Do you not see it? Is it just me?

I think we posted right about the same time so I missed your quote but the point is that it is doing exactly what it is supposed to.  As I said, monero doesn't work like that.  You cannot check the balance in the block explorer.

Also you do not need to create an account on mymonero.com, you would just login using one of the options (if you can, meaning if you have the info it is asking for).
