Obviously I didn't say you should reply in a row (post in a row), I said you can post provided you didn't break the rules of the forum which means after a forum user have commented you can reply.. E.g Mr A commented and you have something to reply him, you can reply him. Mr B commented and you have something to reply, you can also reply him or you wait and reply them both in one reply. Both posting pattern is accepted and you didn't break any rules when you reply in both ways but if you reply in a row, both replies will be merge by a moderator.

Not in support of the OP suggestion but let say the feature was added by theymos on the reputation board and this particular problem that you mentioned comes onboard, you can simply move the topic to the Archival Board and it'll solve the problem of people still discussing on the thread on the reputation board and if you drop a reply indicating that the thread was a mistake and also edit the OP out with the new update it won't get brought back to the reputation board, if the thread gets reported to be moved back. But this is a long process that can be shortened with the lock button as it is so the suggestion is a no from me too.

Lock feature has it benefits because it can help kill a thread that is attracting spammers after a problem has been resolved. For those using it for their trolling on the reputation board like the user you mentioned, the trust (feedback) system will take care of them.

Halving bring enthusiasm for Bitcoin and not posting on the forum, if there's anything we should be doing during that time is making our plans in preparation for the aftermath of the halving. Lets take a chill pill and look at things from a different point of observation because I know we're always quick to point fingers at some things that we feel are reasons for less activities on the forum but lets not forget that people have a life outside the forum and some times life outside might be the reason for the less activity on the forum.

People are suffering from different things that might make them to not be available for posting. I myself haven't been as active as I use to be because I'm having some life challenges and I believe others might be facing similar issues. When there's reductions in post activity it could be because of things like this and looking at some accounts that used to be very active on the forum are no more so obviously there has to be reduction in post quantity on the forum.

We too need to look at the fact that the bounty/signature campaigns aren't as motivating as they use to be to those that need it to get motivated to post on the forum and the other reasons that have been mentioned here that I don't have e to repeat are also contributing factors. But still we are having a very decent amount of engagement on the forum to keep it alive so I think we're good, the activity will.come back up later eventually.

Do you that's how I want to start this response because there's no special way of replying. If there was the administrators of the forum would had outlined that in the rules. You can decide to reply everyone on your threads that's your choice provided you aren't spamming the forum or just doing that to increase your weekly post count. If everyone is saying something different and you feel their response deserves a response from you then go ahead and quote them to reply. You can decide to quote them individually or simultaneously with one reply (everything depends on you). There are some replies that requires you to not quote others so you can take your time to respond to that particular reply without making your post look crowded/difficult for some forum users to comprehend.

I love when there are sub discussions on a thread as it makes the thread to look more of human discussion and not bots because that's how the forum is looking more like this days because of the introduction/development of AIs. Just to summarize, any reply worth having a response from you shouldn't be ignored but attended to. Nobody has the right to question how you're responding to replies on your thread when your reply is in accordance to the rules of the forum (they aren't spams/off topics).

That should be their own problem to face, information/knowledge are being passed on the forum regularly and if you refused to take them you'll eventually pay the consequences one day. As there are threads warning about the use of custodial wallets yet many people especially the newbies, are giving this advice a deaf ear or the common advice saying "don't leaving your coin on exchanges" yet some people aren't listening. When the wallets/exchanges scam them and they lose their assets then they'll wished they took the advice that had been said on the forum numerously times serious.

We can't force people to implement the advices/information that they get. People will choose to do what they want no matter what you advice then so just because some people aren't taking the advice shouldn't make us to stop giving out the advice and passing down the knowledge we know to the new generation of the forum. If one users gets saved from this advices or gains knowledge then we are succeeding as a forum.

Bitcoin is a currency, we can't rely on currencies for full time job but there are other careers that revolved around a currency like being a trader that we can depend on, if you're a trader that then you can rely on that when you know you're better than being average. Investing shouldn't be a full time job for you or you'll always be restless with monitoring the market and getting upset with every little setback that shows up in the short term. If you want to be an investor you should definitely have other businesses that bring in cashflow so you can use that for sustainability. Investment money should be used for capital gains and not to be depending on them for cashflow.

You can have a full time career depending on Bitcoin related business just as everybody has a career demanding on other currency related businesses. The moment we begin to see Bitcoin as also a currency, we'll then understand Bitcoin more and know how to benefit from it. There are many ways you can make use of Bitcoin just as there are many ways in which you make use of your local fiats but Bitcoin has more benefits due to it having a decentralized borderless transaction quality and other unique quality that I don't have to mention since we're all familiar with them.

If anyone thinks there's so much knowledge on a particular local board and he wants to be a part of that then he should go and learn how to read, write and speak the language before participating in discussion on the local board.

Local board are meant for discussion that are associated with the locals on the board so if you aren't from their country, topics being discussed there should have little or no concerns to you. We have enough English board that are available to English speakers to be a part of, we should let the locals have their space.

Maybe the issue of fake apps are getting to them as they have been losing investors so they are trying to minimize the impact by showing that they're doing something about the issues but whatever they're doing won't have any impact unless they address the problem from the root which is by verifying every application that want to get listed on their App store.  Google is a centralized services so they do not have any excuse to have fraudulent apps listed on their platform.

People are entrusting their safety on them which is the worst thing to do because Google is one of the worst company anybody should be trusting. They're responsible for their users security so they should do what is needed but as an enlighten crypto enthusiast, you shouldn't be trusting any app you see being marketed on Google play store or any other store.

Do people still think like this, I thought people are complaining that Bitcoin isn't giving them outrageous profits anymore which is making them to start shifting their investments towards other coins but end up still regretting when the projects they were chasing after anf thought would had made them successful, fail them. What's  trending is that trending projects can give them quick profit with their pumping and dumping schemes and this is making many of them getting launched constantly because they know we have gullible people interested in investing in them. New investors that want to invest in Bitcoin shouldn't have a short term investment mentality or they won't benefit on a greater scale.


What then happens after that is that they'll sell for them to realize that profits and when they exit the market they lose out on potential future gains because for them to re-enter the market they mostly do that at a higher price but many don't re-enter the market still because they'll be waiting for what they feel is the bottom of the market but as we all know, it's very hard to predict Bitcoin bottom and the speed at which the market recovers at times might make you to miss entering the market. The better choice is to invest and hodl and not to be timing the market for the perfect investing price with purpose of selling with in a short timeframe.

At least we now know he was a genuine newbie that was seeking for guidance, I wish he got one or probably he receive them but didn't bother to go through the guidance. New users joining the forum have to learn how to respect the rules and regulations of the forum. The first thing you should do as a new users to the forum or any other forum you join is to first read and understand the laws governing that platform.
