Al Nassr need more European players because other top Saudi clubs are signing high profile players but Al Nassr has been silent. Otavio is going to be a good addition to the squad but I don't know much about him so I can give my full opinion but I believe he's going to bring more determination to the club. Since he's a Ronaldo teammates in country side, it just looks right that it was Ronaldo that suggested for his signing and it'll be good for both the club and country side if they get a nice partnership between this player and Ronaldo as it'll help prepare them for other competition. Al Nassr should sign another striker that can replace Ronaldo and not always play him all full 90 minutes.


It seems like Al Nassr are only doing well in competition outside of the league but underperforming when it gets to league games which isn't good thing because it's the league that all the attentions are on and if Al Nassr isn't doing well there then it'll be bad. I hope this game give them back their confidence to performance well in the league games. Ronaldo didn't score but assisted which is a good performance and I hope he continue giving more assist as that'll help build the team to be able to deliver results without his presence because he can't play every game that Al Nassr will be playing this season and  if he has all the squad depending on him that'll be too challenging to handle.

The season could have not started anyway worse because don't understand why Chelsea has always been having this misfortune or could it be Chelsea is the reason why all this is happening to them. Christopher Nkunku is an injury player that spend most of his time been injured than actually playing the game and some other players like Reece James are always injured as well. Something has to be wrong with the way this players are been taken care of because it's becoming a regular problem at Chelsea but it shouldn't be this way. I just hope they all can recover on time to help the team win games because some of our best players are out injured and if they don't return in time we might lose alot of games by then.


I was surprised with this transaction because Lewis hall just signed an eight years deal extension not too long ago and now he's not going to be a Chelsea player anymore. I won't blame him for chosing to leave because with the inflow of new players coming into the club chances are he won't get enough playing time to prove his worth to the team so it's better he goes somewhere he'll be appreciated and given playing time and that's exactly what he'll be getting at Newcastle. Beside Newcastle are at a better position than Chelsea this season because they have European football and we don't have anything so he made the right choice.

Pochettino is a better manager than Graham Potter, the season is just starting so we can't judge his ability with just two games played, obviously we should not expect everything to start moving smoothly immediately he took over office. We'll have games that we'll lose and we'll win some but provided we're not losing every game then we have improved from how we were under graham potter. With time the boys will understand what Pochettino is asking of them, we just got new signings and they'll need some time to get used to the new system and coach. It'll be disgraceful if after spending this amount of money that we have in the transfer window, we don't get anything from this season, that'll be very disappointing.


Hudson odoi situation is the reason I don't opposed Chelsea selling any youngster that's currently at the club and been valued very high. I remember when Bayern Munich was coming after him that if we sold him then we would had made big money from his transfer fee but we decided to keep him and now we're regretting. It's better we sell and regret when they become superstar but we made money from selling them then when we keep them but they become worthless. Hudson odoi was a star but everything changed after his injury, he became a shadow of himself as he couldn't reach his peak again and this made him to fall out of favours from coaches that have coached Chelsea football club.

When I saw the news I was surprised as well because Hakim Ziyech injuries doesn't prevent him from playing but just that he doesn't get starting call up and that could be because he hasn't giving the managers enough reasons to start him but occasion he gets sub on and puts on a good performance but Neymar injury doesn't allow him to play so why then does Neymar pass the medical but Hakim Ziyech doesn't pass. Al Nassr losing is a bad publicity for the branding of Ronaldo and something has to be done to improve the squad of Al Nassr, I don't think they're very active in the transfer window like other Saudi clubs.

Chelsea signing Romeo Lavia was to complete the rebranding of the midfield making it a midfield of three person which are Enzo Fernandez, Caicedo and Lavia. The signing was necessary as he's going to add strength to the midfield and even when he's not a regular starter (which I doubt he won't be one), he can always come in as a perfect substitution to change the game. With Lavia and Caicedo in the midfield, Enzo Fernandez will be given freedom to join the attack and adds more men to the attacking force of Chelsea. Enzo Fernandez isn't a defensive midfielder as he was been used at Chelsea, he's an attacking midfielder, using him as DM deny him his talent. Romeo's fees wasn't too high but just average for a player of his quality.


Hakim Ziyech was one of my favorite signing because of his quality at the wing and his crosses but they had no end product at Chelsea because we didn't have a striker that was good in the air to finish up all his crosses and that's how he fell of the first team as coaches that have handled Chelsea during his time at the club didn't see any value for his involvements in the squad. Also Hakim Ziyech had some injury problem that also affected his transfer as he has failed medicals for multiple clubs. Hakim Ziyech would had loved Saudi Arabia but his medical wasn't a success and now he has to settle for a loan at Galatasaray and it seems he isn't getting a fair deal because from what I saw, if they sign him next season his salary will be reduced, I just hope he impress this season and get interest from a better club that'll pay him well.

Pep Guardiola is just looking for what will justify his spending when he opens the banks in January transfer window or the summer. Pep Guardiola is a heavy spender among the top managers and he has spend the highest money in a very short period so he shouldn't be talking about Chelsea spending because that's what all the teams he has managed is known for. Chelsea are rebuilding so obviously they're good to spend and also the previous owner made the new owner promise that he's going to invest over a billion onto the clubs when he takeover and that's why Todd Boehly has just done and now the club has a new look and that's what they were trying to do from the beginning but made some mistakes. Chelsea aren't just spending, they're also selling and making profits especially from academy players.

Erling Haaland has been ghosting in important games and it's becoming disturbing because he can't win prestigious awards with this types of performance. The game against Newcastle was an important game and he got the lowest rating. Newcastle united currently is one of the best teams in the premier League and they have the best defense so instead of supporting Erling Haaland ghosting against them, he should be criticize so he can improve his games or very soon all his goals won't get him anywhere. Lol, Sorry I laughed when I see this replies, I thought this way of thinking would have die off the forum by now because people have been saying this since I was a newbie but upto date it has been the other way around. The more you grow the lesser your chances of getting merited with the same level of quality you have always delivering previously. With higher ranks, it's presumed you have advance in your thinking therefore your quality should be advanced as well and the merits is likely to reduced then increase. Instead of the legendary ranks getting the merits it's the newbies that get all the merits.

Just as others has said, don't take Bitcoin as a source of income, it's too volatile for you to think you can make profits from bitcoin whenever you want. It's better you use Bitcoin as an investment or as a currency because that's what it was intentionally made as when Satoshi ontoroduced it to the world. Satoshi called it a peer 2 peer currency and that's what bitcoin is. Other benefits you're receiving shoudn't be depended upon because it can seize to exist at any moment. If Bitcoin keep growing as it has done in the past, we might get to a point that the price of Bitcoin might stabilized and then it won't been seen as an investment opportunity anymore but it'll always been seen as a currency because that's what it is.

Also this is the first Manchester city super cup and I don't think they're ready to lose it especially not after losing the community shield to Arsenal. Are you judging Chelsea draw with Liverpool as a bad start to the season, are you forgetting how horrible Chelsea was playing last season and didn't you watch the game to see that we balled Liverpool all through the match. The story will be different when we play a smaller team in week two game. We're not scared of FFP because we sold alot of players in the transfer window for very high price and more are still going to leave. Quality is subjective so there's no guarantee that if you do this or that, that you'll make making sense to the user on the opposite side of the forum with smerits but provided you're not spamming or just writing some genetic thoughts then you're contributing to the quality of the forum in a good way. We don't have all native speeders of English on the forum so provided you can understand what the user is saying,  you can merits their contributions. You don't only have to judge quality based on their writing style or queens English. This isn't a lecture room, it's a forum we should be free to discuss like we're chatting with friends.

I was wondering why I was receiving merits from you on our local board, now I know and thank you for supporting the baord. Just as Igebotz said, if you want to assist the board we can work out something that'll be beneficial to those keeping the board active with quality discussion and hopefully theymos doesn't keep us waiting but give us a preferable feedback soon. I also noticed Igebotz has distributed some merits to the posts he qouted for his application and that's one of the signs that shows he'll be a perfect fit for this responsibility for the Nigerian board. He quoted those posts as what he would had sent merits assuming he had more and when he got some smerits he did the needful and reward the posts (in his application with merits).


Thanks for that suggestions, this might be a perfect solution for the meantime although we don't want theymos to think this is a permanent solution as the more merit sources we have in our local board the more circulation of merits and it'll help in bringing about more quality discussion and the progression of the board in general.

The point of the forum is just to hangout with like-minded individuals, it's just an account (nothing special) we shouldn't be giving too much value to it with all the security measures we're requesting for. Merit isn't a security measure. There wasn't any merit feature before, it was just implemented 5 years back when the industry begin to gain more attention and the forum began receiving more spammers in their numbers farming the forum for bounty/signature and it resulted to much spam. The merit system is needed but the other security features isn't. No big deal in forgetting your password and requesting for a new one. The procedure is automatic and mightn't need any moderators intervention when you have a valid working email so no big deal there.


That's my point exactly, like the forum was created with an opened and free minded approach. Satoshi/theymos didn't want to create any discomfort with registration and using the forum but we're the ones complicating things with all our unofficial rules and regulations. What we should be concentrating our security awareness on is our Bitcoin wallet and not the forum but I understand SmartGold01 advice and acknowledge that she meant no harm but it's left for each of us to decide how we want to keep our account safe and bare the consequences of our actions. OP resetting account password on and off the forum isn't a crime or bad, it's even recommended to keep your accounts more secure but make sure you can defend yourself properly without any doubt when your attention is called upon.
