101  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sportsbet.io stole all my deposits/balance on: April 09, 2024, 04:08:12 PM
They asked me to do KYC. I successfully passed KYC and then they insulted me of multi accounting with connection to other customers at their website which is a lie.
Perhaps you used the same device to register and play on the casino with someone else. Do you have any family members who also uses the same casino? Do you share the same Wi-Fi network?
Have you ever used a VPN to access sportsbet?

Additional Notes:
I have already sent a PM on bitcointalk to the referred user but I did not receive any response.
But back then he promised to send you a PM regarding the same issue. Are you trying to say it was never resolved?
I registered at their website last year and made four deposits via bitcoin (24.84 mBTC in total). I made some bets in their sportsbook but without any real winnings.
They asked me to do KYC. I successfully passed KYC and then they insulted me of multi accounting with connection to other customers at their website which is a lie.
I told them that I have no connection to other users and then they closed my account and confiscated my remaining account balance (approximately 26 mBTC).
I did not receive any withdrawals or refunds. They completely stole all of my deposited money. I will also contact licensor about their criminal behavior.
Hey franz.wagner,
I'm sending you a Personal Message  Smiley
102  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Help Needed with a Stuck Transaction on: April 09, 2024, 03:09:28 PM
Hello, I have an accelerator and I just accelerated, I hope it helps you something
What is that “accelerator”? Does it have a name?

You might be mistaking rebroadcasting a transaction for accelerating? Both are completely different, and rebroadcasting never helps at all in such scenarios.

While googling for other accelerator providers, I came across this[1] thread on bitcointalk where users post their transactions in the hopes of being accelerated. I wasn't aware of this so I can't comment on it, but judging from the recent comments it seems that some transactions do get accelerated quite often. Perhaps it is worth a shot?

[1]https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5034315.3700
The OP of that thread also uses other available free transaction accelerators like viaBTC and sometimes the transactions just get confirmed because the fee rates have dropped and not through his intervention.
103  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Hack This - Open Invitation on: April 09, 2024, 02:27:48 PM
The objective is to penetrate and steal the coins and then give me a PoC so that the issue/s are fixed.. rather than me depositing coins in escrow.
Have you also thought about the hacker breaking in, stealing the coins and going quiet without showing you how he did it? Grin

Think about it, if I invite attackers, they break in and find no coins, do you think they will report me how they did it? It will serve me no purpose.  If you do not have faith, it is fine, move on.
Also, without any form of guarantee that they will find coins in there once they break in, there is going to be close to zero motivation that someone will even attempt to hack your site. @examplens' idea is actually good. Leave very little funds in the addresses and then send most of it to an escrow. Whoever finds the funds in some addresses, will receive a percentage of the funds from the escrow service. This will also ensure that the hacker will meet his end of the bargain by reporting to you how he cracked into the service.

People should also be able to track and know if someone has already cracked everything or not so that they may not waste time hacking into a service who accounts have already been drained thus receiving no reward,
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: IceRiver KS5L - opinion? on: April 09, 2024, 02:10:20 PM
lol, you guys are kinda crazy, im not here to promote anything, I just share my opinions and experience  Grin
By “sharing” your opinions and experience, at least it's best to know the kind of service you are recommending. For example, iceriver eu is a proven scam, yet you keep talking about it in most of your posts. It all looks like an attempt to shill a scam here.

A newbie will see your post, fall for the trap and get scammed. Will you compensate him or her?
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ORE mining on Solana network on: April 09, 2024, 01:59:21 PM
Yeah its hard to say how it will turn out. However it seems every crappy meme coin on SOL pumps like crazy and even gets a few CEX listings. This looked promising because it allows anyone to mine some tokens even if they have a smart phone.
Yeah, getting listed on a few good CExs could give some token miners some hope. What I noticed is hype plays a big role in pushing the token price, however shitty it looks like in the bull run. If there are a lot of people buzzing about it, it's good to be part of the ride and jump off right before the hype dies down.

I know a few tokens on Solana that are really so good or are at least far much better than most meme coins, but they just die a natural death because they don't have that hype.

The ORE thing though is pissing off a lot of Solana users because of network congestion, just like how the ordinals pissed off the Bitcoin users or cryptokitties with the Ethereum users back in the day  Grin

Does anyone know how this is done? you can do POS for tokens on POW blockchain, where there is L2 and POS is performed on it, but this is the first time I have heard of POW mining on a POS chain.
Basically just a smart contract of sorts on Sol chain. I don't think it's really similar to the POW we usually know about.

106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: IceRiver KS5L - opinion? on: April 08, 2024, 11:55:48 PM
Can a admin ban this user? He advertise only circlehash and iceriver.eu. Iceriver.eu is not a official iceriver partner and is the same like circlehash. compare the 2 sites, many parts look the same.

Here also some fraud alarm threads and so from other sites:

https://de.trustpilot.com/review/iceriver.io
https://www.reddit.com/r/Scams/comments/18xi0l0/review_for_the_icerivereu_scam_website_scam_alert/
https://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/iceriver.eu
Admins or mods won't ban him since they do not moderate scam, but you could make up a scam report, and we get to tag/flag his account. Indeed, Iceriver.eu is a scam and has some accusations against it. After looking at OP's post history, I can tell he is on to something. I am not sure why he thought this could go undetected.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ORE mining on Solana network on: April 08, 2024, 11:38:27 PM
Yeah it’s a pain to get it started. And the coin tanked in value a lot. Was $2000 when I started and now $300 a few hours ago.
It does not look promising at all.

I could have done it for fun, but with the Mint Authority still enabled and ownership not renounced. It's just a waste of time. I can see why the price tanked that hard. On Raydium liquidity is just at $9.4K lol.  Grin

108  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BITMEDIA.IO Is a Scam Advertising Network on: April 08, 2024, 11:17:14 PM
I cannot access https://bitmedia.io/ and the latest reviews indicate that they are scammers https://www.trustpilot.com/review/bitmedia.io?stars=1
The site is available, at least from my side.
I can also access it too.

Something must have happened with them since I no longer have access to my account. The account in question was created in 2015 (maybe I still have their banners somewhere Roll Eyes ) And it is quite possible that they suspended the account due to inactivity because I haven't accessed it for a long time.
They probably deleted your account for inactivity, at least that's what they say in their terms
Quote
2.12Bitmedia reserves the right to delete user accounts that have been inactive for a period of 6 (six) months according to Clause 5.8.

Clause 5.8
Quote
5.8All funded accounts that have been inactive for up to 6 months will lose access to their funds. If the account remains inactive, it will be permanently deactivated and the funds will be written off with no refund.

109  Other / Meta / Re: The effect the mixer ban has had on the forum. on: April 08, 2024, 10:59:39 PM
We are talking about the effects of the mixer ban on the forum, they mainly look at signatures, paid posts and whether someone has written more or less before.

But what about the actual effect of the mixer ban and reduced discussions about mixers?

Here is an example https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5491818.0 One guy registered to report a potential scam from a well-known mixer here.
A few days ago, information appeared about a problem with this service, so the question arose as to why this user did not do research first. But where should he do research? on a forum where the presence of mixers is prohibited?
Just a couple of months earlier, there would have been much clearer warnings.

Of course, Bitcointalk cannot cover all cases, but it has certainly lost part of its importance as a relevant source of information, due to the exclusion of the mixer.

A few months or years from now, when most of the legitimate mixers have stopped business or shutdown. It's going to be so hard for an average user to discover and trustworthy mixer through honest reviews that have been a common thing on Bitcointalk. Scammers are going to take advantage of the void left by the forum to create fake reviews that list their scam sites.

Maybe Reddit could try, but altcointalks doesn't even appear in the first pages of most search results.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Wallet for Android / Re: It could be possible create a safe wallet with a Chromebook? on: April 08, 2024, 10:47:24 PM
here, (of course) the first question I asked myself... can I create a secure wallet using this machine?
Not 100% secure if it's not air gapped.

I have seen there is an electrum version dedicated to android, have you ever tried to use it?
I have used it, but there are just some slight functional limitations on the android app vs. the PC. For example, the PC version allows you to manually type in the fee rate in sats per vbyte while the android app does not have that option.

In other words, the PC version has all the functions.
111  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Account just created spreading phishing sites on: April 08, 2024, 10:30:17 PM
The account has been nuked. I guess it won't be necessary flagging and tagging the account after all.

I like how mods act so fast these days banning accounts that post phishing links.
112  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is there any easy way? Where to earn $3 dollars per day? or micro earnings? on: April 08, 2024, 09:59:07 PM
Ask them if they have any skill or talent. It's pretty hard to consistently earn even just $3 a day if one does not have any skill or talent to do a specific job. There are very many freelancing sites that even pay in crypto and offer so many tasks such as content creation, graphics designing etc. So it all comes down to the skill set of the individual.
113  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Buy stake. us account, willing to pay 100U on: April 08, 2024, 09:39:52 PM
You do realize the risks involved when attempting to purchase a stake.us account.

1. It's probably against the terms of service and once you are got, you may have your account blocked. Why are you purchasing the account in the first place if you can create one yourself?
2. You will easily get scammed off your money and never even received any account from the seller.
3. Seller claims his account was stolen/hacked using support, and you get locked out a few days after thinking you have successfully purchased the account.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Arcblock - anyone else get in early? on: April 07, 2024, 11:55:04 PM
Most of the old investors takes the ICOs and other crypto investments to be some sort of get profits quick scheme and at that they are making every attempt to assumpted and speculate the coin in a short terms basis, but not knowing that, such project need time to build the right momentum and market dominance before their price will pick up.

This mentality have frustrated most of them and thought that some of the coin they invested on as worthless,  but given some time you begin to see the value of those coins growing a d even a pump in price such as in this situation.
You can't blame them though, Lots of ICO including successful one did not leave to see a one-year anniversary after the launch and if my memory serves me well. Arcblock price tanked so bad after getting listed in exchanges, I don't think so many people had hope that It would ever pump again.
Most of them like me probably just left the tokens in the wallet since they were just worth a few dollars in total.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: 100% Automatic Escrow on Discord on: April 07, 2024, 11:46:26 PM
1. How do you handle disputes in case a trading deal doesn't go according to plan?
2. When the server was banned, did it also affect the bot? If yes, how did you handle ongoing escrow deals that had not yet been closed?
3. What guarantees a user that your bot won't rip them off?
116  Economy / Digital goods / Re: lux-iptv.store | All-In-One Premium IPTV Service | +20K Channels on: April 06, 2024, 11:58:35 PM
Making consecutive posts is not allowed. Please delete old bumps if you are to make new ones.

Anyway, about the service. I made a test purchase, so far so good. I haven't faced any issues yet. I like the fact that there are 4K and HEVC versions for most live chances so that in times when the internet connection isn't that good, the HEVC channel versions still run smoothly.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: PAYSURE safeguards your transactions with secure, decentralized escrow. on: April 06, 2024, 11:41:50 PM
Know more (Github) or ask team here : https://t.me/paysurefinance
Where is the GitHub link? I would love to review the source code just to be sure there is no back door or malicious code.

If it's decentralized, then I believe the source code should be Open, right?

Your website has limited information showing how you can be contacted. For example, I don't see your Socials on it.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoins on the Solana Chain are still thriving. on: April 06, 2024, 11:32:53 PM
What are your thoughts on this? Do you believe this trend will continue to grow, or is it just overhyped speculation?
Obviously overhyped speculation. The tokens have no long term use cases and are purely for fun, scam and making quick money for the devs. All I can advise you is make as much money as possible and get out. Don't waste time trying to hold those tokens thinking they will grow 10,000x after 3 years because 99% of the time they will just dump and people will move on to the next one. Do not be the holder of shitcoin bags.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Tornado Cash: A Privacy Mixer on Ethereum? on: April 02, 2024, 11:51:50 PM
The mixer web interface does not work, but the smart contract will live as long as the blockchain is running.
Absolutely right.

It however looks like the hackers don't know about the existence of other reliable bitcoin mixers?
Meanwhile, I take back my past statement. It looks like America's Most hated hackers, the Lazarus group, have been bombarding other mixers with their stolen funds. One of those mixers was a bitcoin mixing service known as Yomix
It's just a matter of time before we hear about another Mixer seizure or sanction.

120  Other / Meta / Re: The effect the mixer ban has had on the forum. on: April 02, 2024, 11:27:07 PM
Well, suchmoon had...

74 posts in December
29 posts in January
10 posts in February
4 posts in March

...so I would say that the mixer ban has had a positive effect on reducing activity among shitposters who only participate here for money.  In the case of suchmoon, we're talking nearly a 95% reduction in 90 days after the ban!  That's an absolutely amazing development.  I hope we see this continue and spread to other shitposters as well who provide nothing for this forum but drama while leeching funds from the community that could go towards supporting creators of goods and services.

If you needed evidence that the mixer ban has already improved the community.  Here it is.
Not entirely true, IMO. His activity isn't tied to the mixer ban. In fact, most of last year even before the mixer ban, he was on and off according to my observation. I remember he used to also be a very huge merit source as well, but over the last couple of years, that activity also dropped.  Maybe he now has a lot of stuff happening outside the forum. You can never know.
