521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inquiry about FortuneJack - KYC and Withdrawals on: November 14, 2023, 10:17:56 PM
I think it should be a normal practice to first read reviews, TOS and all other related information before using a casino and if I were a regular casino user, knowing that KYC verification is inevitable especially when you win, I would verify beforehand and also be ready for this kind of harassment. Some casinos like doing it a lot.

The "security check" is probably their standard operating procedure... please just give them sometime
522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto market will top when we see ‘how do I mine BTC on my laptop’ posts here on: November 14, 2023, 10:03:27 PM
On the contrary, I see a big decrease in activity in mining communities, because video cards are not profitable, and ASIC mining is not suitable for all home miners.
And now there is already a lot of information that Bitcoin mining is simply unprofitable on any equipment except modern ASICs.
Stupid questions will arise when Bitcoin approaches the price of 60,000 dollars.
I don't mine Bitcoin, but I thought with the recent spike in transaction fees due to the ordinals craze miners would be smiling their way to their wallet addresses due to those significant transaction fees.

it seems to me like you forgot to log into your other account or create a new one as AUDIOSEROS already has some reds on it and continue with your stupid loan requests. What is even more baffling is how stupid you are to think anyone here is going to give you a no collateral loan ever.
524  Other / Meta / Re: Tag a user to update their broken image links on: November 14, 2023, 09:23:08 PM
Forum itself needs to enable image uploading feature so that we will not depend on any third party before we can upload image and also that there will not be any issue like thus that we should fix anything.
Certainly not this current forum software, as far as I Know. Maybe if we migrate to a new forum software that is being worked on for years.

How about the mobile users is there any chance to enable developer tools?
I don't think this is possible

Or are there any mobile/website tools to scan all my posts with broken image links?
My plan is to find all my posts with broken images instead of using the script to automate everything I'd like to manually reupload them.
Wouldn't that take ages?

I haven't yet updated mine too, maybe will do it over this week.
525  Economy / Exchanges / Re: FTX Exchange might be brought back online - Would you use it again? on: November 14, 2023, 05:09:09 PM
It appears this rumor is becoming true hehehe, this only occurs in the cryptospace. An exchange created to scam from the beginning, restored and restructured to accept new customers but with a bad reputation. If this becomes a success, there might be something wrong with us.

Also, as a reminder, Sam Tabasco is somewhere on his yacht, sailing around the world and enjoying his luxurious life using your money.
I haven't been religiously following the legal proceedings regarding the FTX drama, but I think at some point they asked their customers for proof of assets so that they can plan about making refunds. As far as I know, it isn't FTX handling this whole procedure.

What happens if FTX comes back online?

Does every customer who had their funds locked up in the exchange have their default balances show up once the service is restored, or it will be for only those who "verified"?  Grin
526  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [List] Instant exchanges on: November 14, 2023, 04:35:45 PM
This is twisted considering that they don't ask for KYC, so they shouldn't have any regional restrictions.
Perhaps they don't want to fall into trouble with the US or whatever law enforcement body is out there... or should we say they are "cowards"?  Grin

Exch.cx have had a fair share of similar threats

Have you tried with another browser or maybe even via VPN?
btw. It works normally on my side.
Yeah, it was because the IP address was pointing to the US

Where was your IP? I just tried with the most likely country to be redirected -- USA and I was right, I got redirected lol.
Yep, it's the US.

It's interesting that I can't seem to access sideshift's terms or service page. Dropping it on urlscan.io returns an error as well. I wonder if they're in the middle of changing some stuff.
It's here - https://sideshift.ai/legal

527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Unconfirmed transaction on: November 14, 2023, 04:11:23 PM
Your device from which you tried to copy and paste the address is probably infected with some sort of malware. Possibly a clipboard malware or even RAT malware. Could you post the new address you are seeing here?

528  Economy / Reputation / Re: How easy do you think it is to invest in trust feedback in order to swindle? on: November 14, 2023, 01:36:28 PM
How will the receipt address be hidden? I think it will leave a loophole to know the whereabouts of scammer, which is the last thing any scammer would want, especially since you may be asked to pic Collectibles after receiving them.
The scammer on his long term mission to pull off an exit scam can easily use one of those International parcel forwarding services like shipito.com. All he will share with his trading partners is an address generated to him by the service, but not his actual address
529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: KUNKUN mining on: November 13, 2023, 11:51:21 PM
Grin Grin ;Dyes yess Grin Grin

The man makes you mine other coins and sends you his own token, smart man.
Similar to the ICO age, where people would stupidity send their Bitcoins and ETH to buy ERC20 tokens of a "project" with only a white paper and website. During the time of the purchase, the tokens would not have been minted yet or even listed on any exchange.
530  Economy / Services / Re: Paying for LinkedIn Verification on: November 13, 2023, 11:28:13 PM
Just some random thought.

Is it not possible to have one of your close family members or friends help you out with this rather than some stranger over the internet? They could easily help you with the sms verification and real IP address part.
531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a peer to peer method less popular than as an investment on: November 13, 2023, 11:15:38 PM
There is a reason Bitcoin has a limited supply of coins and why there is halving every 210,000 blocks otherwise if satoshi didn't care about bitcoin being used as a hedge against inflation then there would be unlimited supply of coins just like it is with fiat currencies. The peer to peer nature of the network and the deflationary design are just two of the other important aspects of bitcoin.

People use it for different reasons and money being a very good motivating factor to most humans, then why not invest in it as well?
532  Other / Meta / Re: [TELEGRAM] Yet Another BitcoinTalk Notification BOT (merits, mentions, topics,+) on: November 13, 2023, 09:58:13 PM
Logically, no one who is going to ignore someone will do this, but:
Imagine that I have a user being "followed" by the bot. And later I "ignore" the user on the forum, what will the bot do? Or I "ignore" a user on the forum, and then it comes to the bot and I request to "follow" that user, how does the bot react?
I believe in both cases, the bot still notifies you because It accesses no personal forum data or settings, so it doesn't know if you ignored the user via the forum or not. All it does is scrap forum posts.
533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Differences between Mixer and BTC->XMR-> ? on: November 13, 2023, 03:22:33 PM
It will mostly depend on what service or medium you are using to swap or mix your coins. If you use a centralized exchange to swap your BTC to XMR, then you have almost done no work as the exchange you have used can easily monitor and log your data and hand it over to anyone who goes to them with a court order.

A similar discussion here - Mixing through Dexes ?

534  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan application for trading legitimate experience on: November 13, 2023, 02:50:35 PM
Oh wow, so you are good at trading yet for some reason you don't have any money?

I mean, you could just have only $50 and manage to multiply it within hours as you claim. If it was that easy and obvious, then why are you scouring through the forums looking for your next potential victims
535  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Binance hidden fees on: November 13, 2023, 12:59:09 PM
sure they charge fees but why they don't account fees in unreaised PL of open position? This makes you overestimate your PL. As I texted before, you may see green unrealized PL and then close position and get negative (not because of slippage but because they hide fees)
How do you expect them to calculate it under unrealized PnL lol

1. You open a position using market or limit order, they deduct their fee which you know they have to.
2. And then there is an 8 hourly or 4 hourly funding fee depending on the positions you are holding
3. You close your position (They don't know when you will do this and/or whether you are going to use a limit order, market order) so tell me again how you expect them to include this in Unrealized PnL if they don't know which type of closing order you are going to use because the fees vary.

There are no hidden fees... Please read and understand how things work.
536  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] BestChange Signature Campaign | Sr Member+ on: November 13, 2023, 01:09:18 AM
Hello @Best_Change team, I would like to change my address from the current legacy address to a new segwit address. Back then, when we were applying, you mentioned somewhere that your wallet did not support native segwit addresses, hence that how I ended up using a legacy address. It seems to me that now your wallet for payments supports segwit as I have seen some members already using such address in this campaign lately.

I also suggest you inform other remaining members who still have legacy addresses to also switch to Segwit to help cut down on the transaction size and consequently the required transaction fees

This is my signed message from the current address

Code:

537  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [List] Instant exchanges on: November 12, 2023, 11:54:10 PM
Just some additional information. Sideshift.ai seems to have blocked users from certain Jurisdictions from accessing their website. Instead, one gets redirected to Sifi.org, which they claim to be their partner. Some on chain swap service of sorts. I don't know how reliable they are since I have never used them.

538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why has GAS token been pumping harder yet the Native coin NEO isn't? on: November 12, 2023, 11:48:03 PM
Look at market cap not price. Gas marketcap = $130 million while NEO marketcap = $900 million so gas is cheaper than NEO just like it was before. The price thing that you noticed is because gas supply that changed over years.
Market cap when it comes to crypto doesn't mean much because of the ever-changing circulating supplies. To show that things have been very different since their last all-time highs in 2018

NEOs Market cap was at $2Billion, Gas' marketcap was at $800M.
539  Economy / Reputation / Re: How easy do you think it is to invest in trust feedback in order to swindle? on: November 12, 2023, 10:30:43 PM
Not that easy because a scammer would have to spend lots of Bitcoins just gain exposure and maybe some reputation, also having members use your platform to send huge amounts of money takes a very long time, but it's mostly with newbies. Old members in this forum prefer old trusted mixers. I think a one smartmixer.io pulled off such an exit scam and took someone's 10 BTC.

He made a mistake to mixer all the Bitcoins at once through a not so trusted mixing service that was still new.
540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why has GAS token been pumping harder yet the Native coin NEO isn't? on: November 11, 2023, 07:23:09 AM
Back in the day when NEO was still a hot item and was also at one point dubbed the Ethereum killer, the Price of NEO was higher than that of its utility token NEO gas. To put this into context. On 15th January 2018, NEO recorded an all-time high of $198 while NEO GAS recorded an all-time high of $92 on the same day

NEO price was 3 times over that of NEO GAS and yet today GAS is trading at the same price with NEO and even sometimes higher than it.

Why is GAS pumping hard and NEO so much? Have the people trading a NEO utility token GAS decided to believe in it more than native coin NEO?
