421  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] kycnot.me | Open-source list of non-kyc services on: December 05, 2023, 01:25:48 PM
At your landing page[1], at the bottom, there are links to TOR, I2P, Mastodon, Nostr. At the About page [2], there is information for social media with some social media accounts but I see one is missing.

It's Bitcointalk account and announcement thread.
[1] https://kycnot.me/
[2] https://kycnot.me/about#social-media

May you think to attach information about Bitcointalk account and this announcement thread on kycnot.me, please?
Looks like Pluja no longer comes back to this thread

I also don't understand why the request to fix is inactive (https://kycnot.me/request/fix). Could be an easier place to report such issues.

The other option is to report the issue on Gitlab (https://gitlab.com/kycnot/kycnot.me/-/issues)

I don't think their official onion link is working correctly right now, at least not for me.
First I thought there was something wrong with my Tor browsers, so I tried the same link in Brave-Tor browser with same results.
I can't find anything on their gitlab page, so maybe they shut it down.
It doesn't work for me too
422  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 100$ scam in Binane 3rd part services on: December 04, 2023, 11:51:45 PM
How do this third party services get listed on Binance marketplace? Do they take time to vet the services before listing them, or anyone just goes on to list their service there?
I have so far see 2 different card services in the marketplace. The cryptocard game is another really very slippery slope where one can easily end off getting scammed.

And when testing such services for the first time, one should deposit smaller amounts like 10–20 bucks
423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: BTC sent by mistake to localbitcoins wallet. How to recover? on: December 04, 2023, 11:16:24 PM
>>snip<<
That's very sad to know. Losing that amount of Bitcoins very well, knowing the bull market might be around the corner, is terrifying. I just hope the Local bitcoins team gets their faces off their asses, stop acting like robot and help you out like normal humans who know that people can make mistakes. You might start trying to engage with the actual founds on social media platforms if they have accounts there.
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Tornado Cash: A Privacy Mixer on Ethereum? on: December 04, 2023, 10:55:26 PM
https://cointelegraph.com/news/tornado-cash-token-falls-binance-announces-delisting
"Tornado Cash is a cryptocurrency mixing protocol, and TORN is used to vote on proposals for upgrading the protocol. From Nov. 26 to 27, the token took a nosedive, falling from $3.90 to just $1.66 — a decline of 57%. The price decline happened as the world’s largest crypto exchange by volume, Binance, announced that it would stop accepting deposits of TORN on Dec. 8 and no longer process withdrawals after March 7, 2024."
https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/tornado-cash
That day they delisted a number of other tokens that also dumped so hard. The coins including waltonchain, Bitshares, PERL. I am not sure if the delisting comes at a time when Binance is under fire from the regulators, or this is just their routine.

I am actually surprised that TORN was still trading on the exchange after all this time.
425  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: I have 64 Fantom Bitcoin for sale , as of now market value is less on swaps on: December 04, 2023, 09:56:06 PM
Hasn't even offered a payment method that is to be exchanged for the Fantom Wrapped bitcoin sale. Made the announcement on Bitcointalk but wants the deal to be done over telegram. This is rather unserious and fishy to me.

Would you mind sharing your fantom-wrapped Bitcoin address?
I will be damned if he does that.
426  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Why is my miner mining less date every day? on: December 04, 2023, 09:41:36 PM
This is a bad device for mining bitcoins. Better buy a good video card for $700 and mine bitcoins on NiceHash. With a graphics card, you will always have more options.
With the Ethereum mining which was so profitable with GPUs long gone. How do those Nice hash folks break even? I have never thought about platforms like Nicehash before.
427  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Dollar Buy Sell In BD on: December 03, 2023, 11:43:51 PM
Probably another scam site created by OP. It looks like the old ones now has lots of negative reviews and isn't catching him anymore victims. Beware folks.

428  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] Mixero ADVANCED MODE Bitcoin Mixer Signature Campaign | Sr+ up-to $250/w on: December 03, 2023, 11:26:03 PM
Mixero will continue their signature campaign until December 31st.
From January 31st we will move the campaign to another platform.
Probably a mistake? You meant January 1st 2024?
429  Other / Archival / Re: [banned mixer] - Bitcoin mixer | 50+ BTC in reserves are confirmed! on: December 03, 2023, 11:20:22 PM
Telegram for support?

I haven't extensively read their privacy policy, but I am very skeptical about that app. To me, it's like a ticking time bomb. Let say you were in sinbad situation and the law enforcement was combing through all corners for evidence and information about the person behind the mixer and the customers. What would stop them from reaching out to the Telegram team for the information and logs?
430  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BC.Game not taking Responsible Gaming or Problem Gambling seriously on: December 03, 2023, 11:02:59 PM
OP, I have another question, during the time when you were trying to seek for help regarding your gambling addiction problem. Did you by any chance explore the site and come across a link like these?

1. Self-Exclusion contains some helpful information.
2. https://www.responsiblegambling.org
431  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is forum reputation enough to influence mixers? on: December 03, 2023, 10:38:42 PM
By changing the way of mixing, what do you mean? Isn't it still mixing, which the Government will continue to hate and ban?

The Bitcointalk forum is not the only place they can advertise from. Not a very similar topic, but you can read through the replies (Where the mixers will promote their projects?
432  Economy / Exchanges / Re: eXch - instant exchange BTC / LN / XMR / LTC / ETH / ERC20 on: December 02, 2023, 01:52:49 PM
Yes, there have been users that have successfully changed their names and granted their request. So if it's already requested to theymos, well, it really takes time IIRC because I've read it before that there's no timeframe when it shall be granted. And you know with stuff that with issues these days, it might really take time. Btw, thanks for your response.
He seems pretty reluctant to grant them that wish. If he wanted, I think he would have done it by now, since OP had a genuine reason for the name change. They even gave them back control of the old account, but it has no activity.

I just hope that someone malicious just doesn't go and register the eXch.cx name and maybe even try to impersonate.
433  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Whirlwind.money | ⚡No Fee⚡ | Ultimate Privacy | Anonymity Mining 12% APR🔥 on: December 02, 2023, 01:39:02 PM
But I still have a question. How effective really was signature campaign for whirlwind? Also, when was sinbad.io website as a fully functional mixing service created? Sinbad.io started advertising on this forum in 2022 and it looks like they become super popular and millions of dollars went through their mixer. Does this mean that signature worked for them? If yes, then is it false claim when whirlwind owner says that signature campaign didn't work for them?
If signature campaigns didn't work, then trust me they wouldn't have splashed all that amount of money here in the forum trying to advertise the mixers. I think it also comes to strategy.

Another thing I kept thinking about is that once a mix would get seized or voluntarily shutdown like it was the case with Bitblender because they sensed some danger, I have a feeling they would come back under a different name and brand and knew exactly what to do or where to get customers from.

I think Sinbad will launch as a new mixer some day, since the Feds didn't seize those Bitcoins.
434  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BC.Game not taking Responsible Gaming or Problem Gambling seriously on: December 02, 2023, 01:21:37 PM
I just got this when I tried to visit BC.game. Could it be that they just added it after the complaints? Or they are just selectively blocking banned Countries?

OP when you were using the site, did you see this section (https://bc.game/help/self-exclusion)? Or they recently added it?
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GoodmorningNetwork GM mining on: December 02, 2023, 12:59:45 PM
it's funny because this shit is done but there is still 40 miners on it.
why ?
Maybe they hope it will resurrect in future?

It's similar people who place orders to buy shitcoins that are long dead just waiting for a pump and dump one day if it happens.
436  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [BETA] blindmixer.com - Next-gen mixer | Chaumian Bank | Lightning | Blinded-Sig on: December 01, 2023, 03:52:42 PM
I did not know that the service would no longer work because I did not see any warning anywhere. In the last month, I had 5-6 transactions and everything worked properly. Yesterday I sent 0.012 btc to blindmixer and then I saw that something was wrong. The transaction status says: pending conf. An error also appears: "Failed to fetch" and "Custodian is not aware of the hookin!". In the meantime, I sent an email to support as well as a private message to the OP, but no one answers. Is there any possibility for me to save those bitcoins?
This is sad. Hopefully you get your Bitcoins back. So OP said that if you have any issues, you shouldn't email them but rather post here. I am guessing they are not even watching the email address.

Maybe you could send him a PM as well regarding the issue. I still don't understand why they refused to take our piece of advice of disabling the service and put it on withdrawal mode only.
437  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What I would do if I owned a bitcoin mixing service on: December 01, 2023, 03:36:22 PM
mixers are banned in promoting here? i thought Theymos only said Sinbad is not banned because it was caught mixing coins from hackers but not all.
Looks like you have just woke up... Read here  Grin
438  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where the mixers will promote their projects? on: December 01, 2023, 03:34:15 PM
Which site or forum that these centralized mixers will promote their projects? Cheesy

Or these mixers will don't have any medias to promote except volunteering by themselves? maybe hire someone who willing to shills/spams?
There are other blog and media platforms, Review sites, other forums etc

Bitcointalk signature advertising was quite unique for them, but there are other places the mixers can advertise from. If you want to prove this, just Google up one of those old mixers that was not advertising in the forum like cryptomixer
439  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: A scammer selling Bitcoin for $1000 on: December 01, 2023, 01:36:24 PM
No surprise coming from humerh3. He has a lot of alt accounts, most of which have been tagged before. He has this habit of selling accounts, selling fake wallets etc. If you look at the positive feedback on his trust wall, It's mostly done from his alt accounts, which are easy to identify. He even has no idea how the trust system works  Grin
