101  Economy / Lending / Re: lend btc on: January 04, 2017, 11:27:25 AM
Please read the stickies.  No one is going to loan bitcoins without a collateral to a newbie with 1 post who just registered a hour ago.  Those who do won't be expecting their bitcoins back.
102  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: I cant send bitcoins from my wallet on blockchain on: January 04, 2017, 08:48:48 AM
Contact their support.  Since you can't rescan in bc.i there's not much you can do.
103  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: please help, transaction not found on: January 03, 2017, 05:11:28 PM

yes i got the hash from www.triv.co.id, i sent 0.1 btc and im afraid to send more, so what should i do? call them back?

Yes, you should call them again.  Although users' reviews about them are mostly positive, it looks like they're quite new.  Hopefully you didn't get scammed.
104  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: please help, transaction not found on: January 03, 2017, 04:51:21 PM
Contact triv.co.id support.  It's most likely a problem from their end.

i did sir, but they say there is nothing wrong with the system and they already send the btc completedly
im so confuse now

They are obviously lying or just wrong.  If they're right you'd find that transaction hash in block explorers and coins in your wallet.  You got that transaction hash from their site, right?  How much did you send?
105  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: please help, transaction not found on: January 03, 2017, 04:39:49 PM
Contact triv.co.id support.  It's most likely a problem from their end.
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Wallet.dat recovery on: January 03, 2017, 02:56:19 PM
Depends on what kind of recovery you're talking about. If it's corrupted then restoring a backed up wallet.dat is your best bet, or -salvagewallet if you don't have a back up.
If you lost the passphrase then you can try to bruteforce it, the chance of success depends on how long and complex your passphrase is.

Hello , i have a problem , i have my bitcoin address and my email BUT i lost wallet.dat because of new windows instalation , how can i recover my wallet ? ; is there any way to do it ?

If you lost your wallet.dat and didn't keep a backup in any form then your bitcoins are lost.
Bitcoin core and most desktop wallets doesn't use email btw.  You might be using some other wallet.  If that's the case then create a new thread about it to avoid hijacking this one.
107  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: About Electrum wallet backup on: January 03, 2017, 01:38:35 PM
How do I choose a backup method?

1. Private keys: I create a private key for each address using "Wallet> Private keys> Export". Using these private keys I can transfer my address to another wallet.
2. Wallet seed words: In this method, I can reach all my addresses and information with 12 wallet words.
3. Wallet backup file: This is another method. I can create wallet information by uploading from Backup file.

Which is the most accurate method?

Why are you asking how to choose backup method when you already know all of them?  Just pick whichever your prefer.
Generally the seed is all you need to restore your wallet, so just write it down on something and make sure you never lose it.
Wallet file will require you to save it in USB/PC which can be compromised by malware.
Private key exporting shouldn't be used as long term backup because you're not exporting all the possible private keys of your seed.
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction Stucked on: December 29, 2016, 04:36:13 PM
Yes, they show the recommended amount and not the fees per KB or so. Alternatively, there is an option to set custom fees while making any transaction.

Is there any way to speed up the stucked transaction by sending more fees?

You can contact Quickseller or macbook-air or some other miners and ask them to help you get that transaction confirmed.  They will probably ask for a small payment.
109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction Stucked on: December 29, 2016, 04:15:59 PM
To be honest I have not much knowledge in technical aspects but if I have to send more fees then what to do in such case? Thanks for the help

ps : The included fee was recommened by blockchain.info web wallet.

Set the fee to the recommended amount.  Which is 90 satoshi per byte or 0.0009 per KB (shown on the site I linked).

However, the last time I used blockchain.info the site doesn't even show the fee per kb, only the recommended amount.  If it's still the same then you're pretty much blind.

Edit:
Yup, it's still the same.  All you can do is blindly increasing the fee or get another wallet software that shows the fee per KB (I recommend electrum.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction Stucked on: December 29, 2016, 03:59:44 PM
I recently tried to top up my Namecheap account with $1 and send BTC according to it but the transaction has still 0 confirmations.

https://blockchain.info/tx/9444e4a907126c7e27a84f2b5dea6883ac8ebfe50a77142ae5b85c60cbf5e48a

Can someone help?

Best
Dudeperfect

The fee is lower than the recommended fee of 90 satoshi per byte.  According to https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ a transaction with 57 satoshi/byte fee will take anywhere from 15 to 480 minutes to confirm.
111  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: explain to me about the signatures on: December 29, 2016, 03:28:49 PM
Indonesian board is that way (Or maybe Philiphines?).  Ask there instead of posting a machine translated message with untranslated leftovers.

Signature campaigns are services that pays you to make posts while wearing their signatures.
112  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: This Wallet Has 0.011 BTC - Be First One & Get It! on: December 29, 2016, 02:51:20 PM
So the competitor have to pay 0.001 to get the encrytped .dmg file which may or may not be real?  Roll Eyes
113  Other / Meta / Re: Rename the investor-based games to Ponzi-Based scams? on: December 29, 2016, 11:42:11 AM
Is the investor-based games board ment for obvious ponzi's or?
I just counted atleast 3 obvious ponzi's in the first 8 threads, is this normal or? Maybe it is an idea to rename the board since i really wouldn't call putting money in those sites investments, It's more or less a donation, and i think it is quite odd to let those people advertise their scams there, or am i wrong?

Could someone eleborate? Was there ever a bitcoindoubler site that paid back your  "investment"?

Investor based games section is meant for sites that requires user to invest in order to participate, but it was created because the high number of threads about obvious ponzi sites.
In bitcointalk scams aren't moderated, and creating a sub-board called "scam services" and moving threads there counts as moderating scams.

There was some bitcoindoubler sites that pays, but they still scammed in the end.

Don't take that as me siding with those ponzi sites, btw.  I'm just being honest.
114  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Why would you prefer another online wallet then Blockchain.info? on: December 27, 2016, 07:10:41 PM
When using blockchain.info or any other web wallets you're trusting them to keep your coins for you.  It doesn't matter if they say they don't share unencrypted private keys to their server because that can change anytime they wish to change it.  You're also relying on them to keep their website accessible to you whenever you need to use your coins and fix some problems that can be fixed by yourself if you fully control the wallet.

You can't view the private keys of or sign a message with a non-imported addresses with blockchain.info (I'm not sure if that's changed) and it doesn't use any less fee than any other wallet.  Fees can be set manually if you wish to, btw.

In short, yes, wallets like electrum which is pretty much the opposite of what I said above (except the fees part) are more secure.

Edit:

To me it just seems that these are more complicated and with more fees and unnecessary stuff..

They're not that complicated.  I've used a lot of wallets including blockchain.info and they're pretty much the same only with added or removed features.
If you think any of the features are unnecessary then simply don't use them, that shouldn't stop you if you want a more secure wallet.
115  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Multiple Change Addresses and Coin Selection option on: December 27, 2016, 06:33:58 PM
I started recently to use electrum as a more secure wallet from my web wallet (I use blockchain.info). I use the portable version even though there is a warning in the sub-forum but I believe there is no difference with installed one. I have a couple of questions where I didn't find an answer neither in documentations page nor searching the forum or the net.

1. Tools--> Preferences --> Transactions (Use Multiple Change Addresses check box) what means? I already have checked the above that is Use Change Addresses and looking in tab Addresses I can see Receiving and clicking left arrow besides Change there are six addresses. So what is the difference between them?

2. Tools--> Preferences --> Transactions --> Coin Selection: (Privacy and Priority). What is the difference using first or second one.

If someone has the same confusion with me and has found the solution maybe wants to drop a line or post a link.

You can just hover your mouse pointer over the change addresses option or click the coin selection and it'll give you very good explanations on what those options are.
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How long will a tx sit on mempool ? on: December 27, 2016, 01:58:48 PM
Looks like both transactions have been dropped already.  You can lock the thread if you don't have any more problem, OP.
117  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to get my signature? on: December 27, 2016, 11:38:55 AM
Hello all!

So today i wanted to sign a message, I used this tutorial https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=990345.0 (thanks shorena!)

But halfway in signing a message, i saw that i have to enter signature. How do i get it?

Yes i know i might be dumb, but never needed to create signature.  Thanks who will help me!

That's used for verifying, not signing.  Signing will generate signature instead.
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How long will a tx sit on mempool ? on: December 27, 2016, 09:08:06 AM
so used the shitty blockchain wallet to send a transaction .. appearently the transaction was so big that it was double spent back to me ... now i cant use all the inputs until this tx is cleared out of pool .. can someone tell me how long will this tx stay in the pool ?

Heres the tx : https://blockchain.info/address/1mwWTvFMvN75NptkTu9dJ8EKF44tPVocW

and also why would a big transaction be autometically double spend . This is the first time that has happened to me ..

a satisfying answer will get a donation of 200000 satoshis.. so please leave your address as well

That's an address, not a transaction.  And that address only have confirmed transactions that will never be dropped because they're already part of the blockchain.

If you're having problems with unable to spend from your blockchain.info wallet, contact their support.  We can't do anything.

There's no such thing as "automatically double spend" for big transactions.

Edit:
https://blockchain.info/tx/4a0d79006d843c8121ac5ddffe9b335f27505653fe8680eca97986237b4a26f9
Blockchain.info is not showing that transaction in the transaction history of the address posted.

That transaction will be dropped within 72 hours provided that no one else rebroadcast it and the unconfirmed input which is the source of the double spend problem.
119  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: unconfirmed / pending transaction stuck on: December 26, 2016, 04:29:45 AM
Transaction ID?
Try switching servers manually till you find one that doesn't have the transaction and resend.  If you can't find it then wait a little longer before trying again.
120  Other / Meta / Re: wtf? Weird censorship here. on: December 24, 2016, 10:44:12 PM
If there is a censorship that thread would've been moved to the trashcan.  From what I see that thread got locked because of the trolling and also because replies pretty much goes in a circle since it started (User A asking if it's true or something similar, User B telling it's not true, rawdog trolling, Someone else counters rawdog with a little techy post, rawdog trolls back, and on and on).

He was trying to get people to understand that it doesn't matter if the key is there.  Similar to showing that stupid picture of the sun and talking about molecules.

Denying that the key in on the site is just incorrect.  RawDog wasn't scaring people, he was educating people about infinity.

To me it looks like the mods are idiots.  To them, dumber is better somehow.

It did look like that at first, actually.  But then the constant trolling and swearing kinda blew all of it.
