101  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for co-founders! on: April 29, 2021, 05:15:22 PM
I have mentioned it a lot, i am looking for someone who is experienced in DevOps, system administration and networking. And who is good at python.

If you are looking for Devops, SysAd, Networkers, and Python programmers, you should change your query from "Looking for co-founders" onto "Looking for a development team" then indicate all of your finished projects, ideas, even a whitepaper or system proposal if possible.

Guys, I've worked for his logo and I know that he is really were onto making this idea possible. It is just that having an automated escrow platform is hard as it involves risks in losing funds and the anonymity is considered. I don't have any affiliation, yet I somehow believe this is worth a try to really implement.

@OP you can hire people in Fiverr so you can find people that fits onto your standards.
102  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Batman v Superman: Joker's Wild Batman 2016 SDCC Exclusive Action Figure Raffle on: April 29, 2021, 04:46:13 PM

Tataas talaga value nyan or may tsansang makakahanap ka ng collector talaga ng mga ganyang action figure pero not in a way na may pa 350PHP per slot for 40person raffle. You can also look for collectors on facebook instead if gusto mo talagang ibenta yan with sure profit, there's still a chance. Again, raffle does not assure any profit as well, how if may isa or sampung sumali and sinend na nila tas di pa din complete for 1-3 months yung slots, what would be your action?

One other way na nakikita ko is ipost mo iyan sa mga NFT websites. Alam ko pwede mong ibenta yan and ipa-auction. Don mas malaki pa chance mo.
103  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Call code! on: April 29, 2021, 03:47:20 PM
With the new forum software being in development, I am certain theymos won't make any major changes on Bitcointalk unless it's related to the security of the board and its members, or directly influences the user experience when browsing the forum.

I can only recommend you try LoyceV's Notification BOT suggested to you by Insanerman. I have been using it for a couple of weeks and it works just fine.

AFAIK if new forum software - Epochtalk, would be used to create a new Bitcointalk forum, then I know that tagging would be easy as the Epochtalk uses AngularJS that has the capability to push notifications plus, with the speed of PostgresQL, it can really be possible. But I don't know yet if the Epochtalk software supports instant database update nor has the functionality to store changes and updates the users without requiring the user to refresh their platform. But yes, theymos doesn't really has the control of the SMF's software and there's no way that call codes and tags would be enhanced and implemented to push notifications in the current platform.

If you are newbie, you will not receive many calls from other members.
If you are famous member, you can get many tags and if you use mention not, you will receive many annoying notifications.

I don't know if it really is annoying to "famous" users but I only see less people tag others with @ syntax or even mentions them. Maybe a 15% chance?
104  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [Wow] Restaurant now accepting All major crypto for payments on: April 29, 2021, 06:42:00 AM
Main Binance exchange app? Wala atang Binance<->Binance instant transactions dun?

Ah, "binance e-wallet" siguro binance pay ito, which instant nga pag binance to binance ang transaction tapus may QR scan transfer na mas pina easy way pag transfer, though the same kahit di binance pay as long na binance users both ang mag ka transact instant yun at wala ding fee.

105  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: To keep coin long term on: April 28, 2021, 09:51:20 PM
Hello community here,

I am newbie here and happy to join here.

My ask is what will be your advices about keeping a coin long term ? Which coin is worth for it?

any ideas will be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum mate. Keeping a coin for a long term would only require you to have understanding with fundamentals of a certain coin, their roadmap, then most importantly your patience. Our advices would really be risky if you followed it without searching it by yourself. Always know what's the project use-case and its future development in their roadmap plus what do you think is the projects unique and distinct feature against other running projects. Consider those before investing then keep in mind that the market is volatile so you might as well use the strat Buy and Forget especially if you are aiming for the long-term investment.

106  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Dego project scammed with bounty hunters.Dego Don’t want to pay bounty payment. on: April 28, 2021, 08:57:22 PM

It was clearly said that their contract for claiming bounty tokens ended 4 days before their deadline. People waited till the last day because it was not possible to claim all tokens at once. If you wanted to claim all of your bounty tokens, you had to wait till the last day but like i said, either because of devs incompetence or  it was planned, the contract ended 4 days early and after February 18, it was impossible to withdraw any tokens.

Now after 2 months, team still didnt fix their mistake and it doesnt look like they are gonna pay the rest of the bounty participants which means they will probably SCAM a lot of their early supporters.

And i am sorry to say, but if bounty manager Fatema cant negotiate a fair payment from still active project, then he should not be allowed to manage any other campaigns here until this matter is resolved.

Just a little question, are there any rules and regulations on the bounty that you think you guys never disobeyed nor followed? Do you also know that there was always a rule that most bounties  has a right to change its rules regardless of how much effort you put onto just to promote their projects? Do you guys also know that bounties have standards as well that not all participants are credible for payment as some people investigates whom uses dummies and who are those who really participates well.

I'm not onto any side of this issue, but pointing all the accusations even on the Bounty Manager that's only job is to manage the Bounty campaign side in part of marketing would even make a simple sense. If I were to manage a campaign, I would only work for a part of them but the rules and distributions would still require reviews from the main project.
107  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: DIY Bitcoin Blockclock on: April 28, 2021, 08:08:18 PM
~

Honestly its my first time seeing this product and I admit I wanted to create my own version of this. It is also cool to make this as a real product once there would be a clean build with strong components like acrylic casing and metal stand. Will note this one to be part of my future projects and hopefully be a product.

Some features that popped out of my mind:
  • Instead of using a screen, it is way cheaper to use LED lighted digits so the brightness can be seen without glares.
  • Since it uses free APIs, I guess it is also cool to have multiple coins supported.
  • The block number isn't really necessary, but I guess whale alerts would be a good addition.
108  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Call code! on: April 28, 2021, 07:17:36 PM
Hi guys, I have been searching for this function/feature on btt but couldn't find it, I don't know if it exists already or not, but I thought it would be nice if we can have it.

Reason?

I have seen several scenarios where another forum member action is been discussed in this section and been concluded upon by other forum members without the knowledge of this persons. So I was thinking if it will be possible for btt dev to assign something like a call code to everyone forum users account?

Where a bitcointalk user can have something like a call code, which can inserted into a text, to call the Attention of the bearer of the code.

You can use LoyceV's Notification BOT[1] if you are pertaining to being notified with call-like tags like @<<Username of the user>> or use TryNinja's Telegram Notifier[2] to get notified everytime someone's mentioned your username (with tons of features as well). But if you are pertaining to direct tagging of users that lets others be notified of the tags (like in social media platforms), then the SMF itself would not allow it, as the notification is sent only via email (if you click notify button only) and not directly available on the forum's platform.

109  Other / Meta / Re: Google partial blackholing of Bitcointalk? on: April 28, 2021, 06:45:44 PM
I think this is because of their recent February update with their search engine. Google recently updated their broad-core algorithm in its SEO to be improved with Passage Ranking. I've seen this article that explains it very well -- https://www.searchenginejournal.com/google-passage-ranking-martin-splitt/388206/#close

With that update, it is not only your thread that is affected, but the general results from any users who searched with exact keyword on Google. Based on my understanding with Passage Ranking, its algorithm ranks the results based on the overall content of the page independently -- which leads to your 2nd thread page be shown first than the main OP.
110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io and Southampton! Cool move ! on: April 28, 2021, 06:14:22 PM
On the other hand, there can still be negative effects when gambling platforms sponsors a certain team. If a gambling platform would involve themselves in just a specific team to advertise them, there can be instances that some people would think that that team can play depending on a backdeal -- meaning that games can be scripted or biased. I'm not such people who thinks that, yet it is still possible to happen. Nonetheless, sportsbet can still advertise with just ad banners on games or commercials right? - which I think is way better.

Actually I see a lot of not so famous personalities sa Social Media ngayong nagiging trend na din sa bansa ang crypto and I've seen a lot of TikTokers na nag iispread ng news about cryptocurrencies and investments pero sobraaa sobrang onti ng mga nakita kong nag wawarn or nag eeducate kasi madalas ang content is how to make money with crypto and/or how to invest pero di nahihighlight yung risks involved or should I say wala pakong nakitang may naggawa ng content na risk ang pinaguusapang topic about sa investment.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is NFT? on: April 28, 2021, 04:58:31 PM
The Not fungible tokens are smart contracts that give value to any digital asset... Is important to mention that each NFT has a cost, So, not anyone can create NFTs.

For me this kind of business has nonsense, why would someone pay half a million for a digital house? or more than 1 million for a tweet... The only sense I could find with this kind of business is money laudering.

This is what the others do lack of -- Appreciating one thing's value. Do you ever wonder why there are so many people that are onto NFTs? It is simply because they know that we are on digital era and most of things that would be valuable in the future would remain intact in the internet. Therefore, it is not really unique nor a weird thing to see that others are spending tons of their money as we all have different approach on thing that we see has a value and those who doesn't see any inch of it.
113  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sicodice.com follow up from original topic on: April 27, 2021, 07:24:19 PM
1. So, what is your relationship with Sicodice.com.
2. You should try to check in this forum about the Sicodice.com gambling site, whether they are scam or not.
3. And if you are not part of the Sicodice.com team, you should not bother to do anything against you on this topic.

Judging his account being both newbie and already involved to a gambling website that is aware to not having any topic thread promotion here in this forum, then I already know that the OP is explicitly shilling the scam Sicodice.com website despite of those accusations. I suggest that we must report this just before there would be people whom would still try engaging on the said platform without even doing a further research.
114  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] SAFESTAR Fake Giveaway x5 on: April 27, 2021, 06:03:46 PM
Good job $crypto$ but be aware that there would be more that you will report and more of shitcoins are coming that might be good but would still have a website that will attempt to scam people, so I better suggest that you would compile those in a single thread. You could find more as well if you follow Coinslist IDO listing and follow those IDO's telegram channel or search for it and you will find yourself added to scam groups that offers exclusive listing that would require you to send directly to an address indicated in their faked websites.
115  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Scalping even viable in Cryptocurrencies? on: April 27, 2021, 05:25:41 PM
Hello Everyone. I currently trade on Foreign Exchange Market and my preferred style is always "Scalping" which involves fast execution, and gaining advantage from short price changes. Thus, I highly rely on technical analysis rather than fundamental. I just want to know if scalping is practical in the crypto world.

Yes! Scalping is indeed effective and worth it especially if you already mastered the art of entering on right position and exiting on the perfect price. You can use futures/leverage trading for a greater profit but still in crypto you must always consider applying stop-losses as compared to Forex, crypto can easily liquidate your profit regardless of how perfect your analysis is. You can see other crypto coins that had long sell candle wicks or long buy candle wicks in just a minute. So better be careful and cautious at the same time.
116  Other / Archival / Re: Ideas for Crypto Projects on: April 27, 2021, 05:00:43 PM

Copy the exact same idea of the game, the same style, and make a copy on the web (Facebook games actually did this and it was very similar to the mobile version), with a slight change in the paper distribution algorithm (such as BJ) i.e.: adding Provably Fair. In fact, my idea branched out into two, 1. Create a casino that pays for cryptocurrencies (based on the same idea of the game that I mentioned above), 2. The game remains the same, but with the Provably Fair addition as well.

Why? :

In fact, I love this game, and I have an account and I made some purchases in it (over $ 500), and what I noticed was before I paid in the game was making me always and significantly lose, but what I noticed after I upgraded my account to VIP, I was playing with real people who have Pictures in their account, while I own three cards (+4 which means that I will win without talking), and this was the first match after the purchase, i.e.: as a gift from the game (certainly not a coincidence), I see this is not a gift, but rather a fraud, so this idea came Mine.

Copying the same idea of other games and improve it is a wise decision, but then you would have a hard time developing a system that can be trusted by people, unless you make your codes open-sourced. Why? Implementing it in a decentralized blockchain would not really affect the security of your system, not unless someone forked it or duplicated it with malicious lines of codes and make it downloadable on third party stores. UNO games are fun indeed, but you can really have a hard time developing a whole "provably fair" casino that focuses on that game in this era whereas it isn't treated with money involved.
117  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Payment gateway for casino, forex, hight risk sector business on: April 22, 2021, 04:09:30 PM
I'm not sure I understand your request. You're looking for a payment processor that is willing to accept casino, forex, etc. related transactions? If so, then I don't think there is a better alternative than running your own node and coding your own thing. I don't think a traditional payment processor is ideal for what you're trying to do.

They already were a payment processing business and they are only looking for partners that would use their services which as the OP have said that they already have permits from it. The question now is that would even anyone here in the forum would take a chance to risk their businesses on accepting this business offer --  in which I don't think that even anyone in this forum are onto looking for payment gateways as there are already tons of reputative platforms that has the same business idea.
118  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Batman v Superman: Joker's Wild Batman 2016 SDCC Exclusive Action Figure Raffle on: April 21, 2021, 09:59:15 PM
@zanezane, I don't think na mayroong magririsk ng ganyan kalaking pera for an action figure plus the fact na lahat tayo ay nakakaranas ng pandemic hence financially unstable pa ang karamihan sa atin. Therefore, gusto ko sana isuggest na sa Marketplace ka magset ng bidding or auction kumbaga na for raffle iyan and set mo sa either 20 or 25usd per slot ang gawin mo. If you want it to be effective as well, gumamit ka agad ng escrow na pagsesendan nila ng funds plus mag add ka din ng consolation price. In that way, hindi lang 1:30 ang chances na manalo, may chance pa iba na mabawi taya nila. Just a simple marketing strategy..
119  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Another Amazing Week For Dogecoin on: April 21, 2021, 09:33:46 PM
Musta ang kita natin sa Dogecoin for the past few days?
but I have no regrets. I still earn some profits.

Umabot as high as $.29 cents. Just imagine, ang range ng price nya prior to the pump is around $.05 - $.07

DogeCoin just hit 20 cents: Why that has the internet excited
Much Wow: Slim Jim Has a Dogecoin Strategy. News of It Sends DOGE to a New ATH

Actually medyo nawoworry ako sa mga taong late naabot ng hype sa doge coin and ngayon lang pumapasok rito, while it is on it's ATH. Remember guys, Dogecoin is just a memecoin and walang main purpose to make it strong. Hype lang ang nagbibigay value rito. There are tons of meme coins recently na mas may usecase pa at may charities na way worth to hold kesa sa Dogecoin. Good thing sa mga long term memers dito na matagal na yang hinold, but please don't spread FOMO sa iba lalo na't sobrang risky pa ng Doge.
120  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My trading strategies on: April 21, 2021, 09:08:15 PM
First am not a pro trader, but my trading techniques have proven fundamentals. I recycled around Bitcoin and some handful of good altcoins; I trade with a hand full of funds since altcoins and the bitcoin market move in the opposite direction; I fill my bags with altcoins when the alt markets are down against Bitcoin and sell them when the market is on the rise to buy bitcoin which will be on a downtrend at that moment.

This technique has worked for me over the years.

That's just the plain basic strategies dude. It is common as we all know what would be the effect of Bitcoin dominance to the price of overall market. Also, it is only applicable to strong alts like ETH, XMR, XRP, as they sometimes move towards the opposite side of the trend of bitcoin. Understanding Bitcoin dominance could really help you out on what market you could enter at the specific period of time, but not really that effective if you were to trade with leverage or scalp coins.
