Congrats to  the winner. This question might be out of the blue pero may guide po ba dito para makapagconduct ng raffle? Gusto ko lang malaman hehe.

Actually, I first encounter this method of crypto lottery art by krogothmanhattan (a reputable member here in our community). This crypto lottery art uses the height of the latest block which you can find in the bitcoin Block Explorer to decide who will be the winner.

As of this writing, the latest block height is 613086, if all the slots have been filled, OP can now decide to roll the next "deciding block" which is the block height of 613087. In a sense dapat natin hintayin yung block height na yun na mamina (mined) in order to know what will be the hash of the deciding block. Again, OP and krogoth uses the same method of choosing the last digit or letter in the hash to determine who will be the winner.

I hope this helps, baka meron sa inyo magpa raffle pa LOL Smiley

These are the golden rules na dapat sundin ng isang trader but it needs a lot of experience and determination to master all these aspect in order to become a good trader or player in the market.

You can read a lot of resources in order to become a good trader but it will not impact the trader inside of you kung hindi mo ito mai aapply. In terms of experiences, a trader should learn from the mistake of others not only from his/her experiences.

The only routine would be
Learn --> Plan --> Apply --> Repeat.
904  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Bitcointalk Activity Time Spreadsheet on: January 16, 2020, 02:03:30 AM
This spreadsheet is applicable to those high - ranking member like theyoungmillionaire who is lacking of Activity count but has required number of merits. Ano ba nangyari don?  Huh I have seen him online in the last few days but I think he turns out to be lurking in the community lately.

Sa mga low - ranking members applicable din to if they have the required amount of merit to rank up na gustong malaman yung estimated time kung kailan sila aangat. But for those people whos just waiting passively without considering their merit..then this will be just a reference on how activity count works.

905  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Promote Bitcoin..... It is for "us" on: January 15, 2020, 01:09:22 PM
Always cool to see posts like these. I think it's great people keep talking about bitcoin and promoting the use of it. Popular culture things too like art (or your tee shirt) I think do a lot, subconsciously, over the years to keep the conversations around bitcoin flowing. But don't forget to also keep using it as much as possible. When there's a bitcoin alternative to pay for things (or even to receive money), use it! Ask for it, support it! Keep doing it!

Well, actually our local section truly supports the use of bitcoin wherein one of the forum member who acts as our leader in our community who is cabalism13 came to a point that he and the other recognized member created a customized Pilipinas Bitcointalk Org Shirt. To be honest, I am excited to wear this out in public but I do not know what happened to the planning of printing of the Organization shirt  Huh. I hope that in the next coming months, they will decide to push and make their plan a reality to increase the exposure of bitcoin and the blockchain technology as well  Wink

Furthermore, promoting bitcoin needs consistency because most people are not into investing and most of them are afraid due to its unstable nature of prices. However, I think we should not just focus in promoting bitcoin but the blockchain itself as well. Bitcoin will not be very possible to be implemented if there is no decentralized network called blockchain that puts out the corrupt regimes of middlemen or banks. Bitcoin is both a new development of technology and currency as well. BTCitcoin is just the first application of one of the most mind boggling technology called blockchain.

These are just one of the opinions that came up to my mind when reading this interesting topic.

Emergency Funds*(Optional)]

What you are sharing is definitely correct when it comes financial planning and financial maturity. But then I have noticed in your post is that emergency fund is optional. In fact, emergency fund serves as a protection for your investment to bleed in times of crisis or unforeseen events. Thus, it should be prioritize before investing in various investment vehicles. Well, if you are a grown up man with lots of responsibilities then you should consider this to keep you afloat and to not rely on loans or in credit card or worse in your crypto investments. Cry

Yes pwede naman i enjoy, but it should be balanced. Enjoy your fruit of labor but  you also must have limits. I agree that experiences and material possessions are vital in life pero dapat occassionally. Remember that income is not the problem, but the spending habit. Income is limited but the expenses are neverending.

Yes, nag iiba iba ang fee sizes depending kung gaano ka congested ung mempool, pero para lang may idea si OP.

I thought na nag iiba ung fee when it comes to transferring crypto from a custodial wallet to a hardware wallet, that is why I asked if there is a difference. Yun naman pala eh walang pinagkaiba, it is just a normal transaction din pala. Thank you po!

I'll be locking this thread since nasagot naman na yung tanong ko! To avoid congestion of spam comments. Thank you so much for all the responses!

912  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [NEWS UPDATE]Japan and Philippines Initiate and Discuss Crypto Laws on: January 14, 2020, 03:59:55 AM
I am not an expert with regards to this topic but I find this very interesting to learn since I am fond with the development of blockchain since the financial aspect or industry is the first application of blockchain technology. I did a quick research on how the traditional security, ICO and Security Token Offering differ (STO) since bago lang din ito sa pandinig ko.

If we are going to refer in our Lending Section in our local and to the global lending section of this community. May tinatawag tayong "Collateral" which means that the borrower should pledge anything that is liquid enough to protect the interests of the lender which is called "Security". Initial Coin Offering (ICO) on the other side, means that a company is selling a cryptographic tokens to raise funds in a limited timeframe. While Security Tokens (STO) represents a financial assets such as bond deposits, bonds, stocks etc. or any form of investment that promises a return.

Di na din ako nagtataka why our government is scrutinizing the laws surrounding STOs and virtual currencies, because ICO have reached its peak during the year 2017 where the overwhelming of these projects have failed that leads to the major loss of investors money. Include mo pa yung mga cases where the developers of the project run away with peoples money. And of course hindi din siya regulated which to a more tragic loss. Hindi ba dapat if there is an ICO there is a return kahit papaano?

But in a way, okay naman ako sa partnership between our country and Japan. There are perks din kasi when we are going to focus in an STO type of fundraising. It will reduce the SCAM possibilities kasi it is now being regulated, this will open up a bigger or wider market sa mga investors and of course tokens will be traded in a more secure or verified exchanges. But the downside is, since regulated ito the chances of quick gains/profit will decreased.
913  Economy / Services / Re: BestChange Bounty and Signature Campaign on: January 14, 2020, 02:43:41 AM
There are lots of Signature Campaign application due to the absence of the maximum participant requirement. I just wanted to tell this because I have seen that most of the Signature Application are user who have a good image in the community. I hope that the Campaign Manager will scroll throughout the end page of the thread to check these quality posters. Secondly, using an escrow will be a good idea since not everyone knows whos' handling the campaign.

I am not joining the campaign, I just want to say these things out. Smiley

2. May fee ba kapag nagtatransfer ng crypto from coins.ph/ exchange/ or any kind of wallet sa hardware wallet?
Meron

Normally, magkano kaya? Same pa din kaya sa bawat transaction fees ng ibat ibang altcoin? Any reading material that you can suggest?

Thanks, for the recommendation na sa official website na lang bumili to ensure the safety of the assets. Mahirap din pala kapag ni resell baka mamaya na tap na yun which can increase the possibilities of getting hacked instead of protecting the assets.
915  Local / Pilipinas / Need insights regarding hardware wallet on: January 13, 2020, 03:43:53 PM
Greetings People,

Based on the recent attack in coins.ph and and a case wherein one of the member here in our community lose his/her funds, bigla akong nag alala with regards to my funds in coins.ph. Kaya nagpaplano sana ako bumili ng hardware wallet that can store BTC, ETH and XRP since ito lang din naman yung laman ng coin.ph ko. However, I have a few questions.

1. Meron bang na mabibili thru FB wherein there is a lower price offered comapred to the original price and maintains the originality of the product?

2. May fee ba kapag nagtatransfer ng crypto from coins.ph/ exchange/ or any kind of wallet sa hardware wallet?

3. Hardware wallet recommendations? Please explain why it is useful.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

917  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Welcome to 2020, Lets set the goals to achieve this year. on: January 13, 2020, 09:29:42 AM
Honestly, I only have a simple ambition this year.

I just hope that me and my family will be safe from an ongoing volcanic eruption in our country as there is a wide effect of ashflow that may cause various respiratory diseases. Secondly, I just hope that we can survive each and every day that will pass throughout the year. Smiley

In terms of crypto,

I just wanted to earn at least 1 or 2 ETH this year that will serve as in investment for future school fees which can help my parents in financing my education. I am also planning to read 2 of the Andreas Autonopoulous book. I know these are simple things but I assure that I can reach these before the end of the year.
918  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My journey on December 2019 (Nothing is impossible) on: January 13, 2020, 06:47:47 AM
It is indeed that the implementation of merit is very useful for starters who push their limit in order to become a valuable member in this community. We admit that developing this kind of posting behavior is tough especially when a user is not dedicated in helping himself/herself to grow.

Adding from the list of factors you have mentioned, I think this kind of daily habits of reading and listening to podcast and reading technical books which I myself do will help your learning curve to expand exponentially as this is the common denominator of old and high ranking members in the community.

Keep aiming high and help people as much as you can. You are doing great.  Wink
919  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Babala Bakit possibling manakaw ang digital coin or mahack ka gamit ang Telegram on: January 13, 2020, 05:57:36 AM
Well there are times na we cannot avoid to join such groups because we are being automatically added into a group without our permission. That is why we need to adjust some of the setting in our telegram app. I find it useful lalo na kapag you are maintaining the security of your account and of course to not get compromised. Madami na din group na bigla akong sinasali without my permission.

You can go to Setting --> Privacy and Security --> Groups --> and then change the "Who can add me to group chat from "Everybody" to "My Contacts."".

Alternatively, you can also find the userID of a specific person who does the scamming or sending suspicious link that may result to an attack. Telegram username can be easily changed but the telegram user ID is not. So there is a chance na magaya yung username ng isang legit group or user.

If you are sure that this people is doing any suspicious attack you can get his/her userID by sending any of the attacker messages to the bot @userinfobot. Secondly, after gathering the evidences, you can now provide a support message including the user id by sending it to the offiical telegram @notoscam. AFAIK, the telegram will tagged that user/group/channel to be a SCAM.

Furthermore, rule of thumb na dapat ng every internet user na huwag basta basta pumindot ng kung ano-anong link. We are in the internet and there is a greater chance na exppose tayo sa fraudulent activities since most of our credentials our exposed globally.
920  Other / Meta / Re: Do you post more when you are wearing a signature or? on: January 12, 2020, 04:12:19 PM
I am only a student and do not have much of the time to spend in reading and posting in the forum. I do have a lot of homeworks that needs to be done before the due date that is why there is a time that I do not post frequently in the forum.

As of now I am wearing a signature, but I think it did not change my posting behaviour and I am not being pressured to post in order to reach certain quota per day. It just comes naturally whenever there is a thread that attracts my attention.

The good thing about wearing a signature is that you getting paid while you are learning and making friends in the community. I personally treat this as a paid hobby.
