981  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is School for? on: December 27, 2019, 01:16:01 AM
I have learned a lot with regards to your opinions about the school system. I was surprised that some of the notable members here gave their time replying on this thread. Unfortunately, I don't have any smerits to send to show my appreciation for the great opinions of low-rank members.

I am now at the tertiary level of education and I feel the need to learn as much as I can inside and outside of the university. I realized that learning is not just a thing inside the school vicinity but rather on the outside too  Cheesy

I think this thread can be locked now by amoderator. I forgot to self moderate the topic.
982  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Pangkalahatang-Ideya sa mga Browser. Alin ang dapat na gamitin? on: December 27, 2019, 12:31:27 AM
I did not know na naka subsribe pala ako sa mailing list ng Brave Browser kaya till now I am receiving their email with regards to their bounty tokens. I always ignore that bounty kasi I don't know if brave browser is a legit and safe search engine to use.

So far active pa pala ang campaign nila. BAT (Basic Attention Token) is approximately at ₱8.00 in todays market. Okay din yan maging bonus while you are browsing but the downside is the KYC which is very Ironic since brave browser focuses on the anonymous side.

There is also a good browser called Vivaldi. I haven't tried it pero maganda daw U.I.

984  Local / Pamilihan / Re: CMPH - CryptoMiners Philippines Official Thread on: December 26, 2019, 07:30:45 AM
Greetings!!

Hindi ako makasali sa facebook group ng mining at trading. It looks like the link has been expired.

Boss still advisable pa din ba mining till now? I have seen a lot of mining threads pero sabi hindi na daw proifitable due to an increasing cost of electricity here in our country?

Minimum investfund para makapagstart?

Suggestion lang! I think you should start a thread here with regards to the Guide of Starting Mining, it will be useful for starter miners as well as sa mga matatagal na sa industry. Napaka technical kasi ng mining at hindi biro ung pera na nilalabas, there is a greater chance of loss kaysa sa profit.

THANK YOU!!! Smiley
985  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [Gabay] Seguridad sa Bitcointalk account on: December 26, 2019, 07:01:40 AM

Yes, magkakaroon but not on this current version of SMF. There are lots of 2FA threads out there especially in Meta Board pero hindi na aprubahan ni theymos.

But I am sure theymos will be implementing this kind of feature in the new forum. He made an announcement with regards to this matter.

LOL, please don't do this because the forum will 'ruin' your life. You might change from a Facebook-worm to a bitcointalk.org-worm. Just kidding, guys but the fact is if you spend your time too much inside the forum, you will fall in love with it as well as lots of helpful and kindful members in the forum.

Sometimes, I have to restrict myself with a maximum amount of time I should spend in the forum, just to save more time for the rest, such as my family.  Lips sealed
I wanted to be more likely called as a bitcointalk.org-worm rather than a facebook-worm. Both community fulfills the purpose of socialization but we cannot more agree that this community gives a wider scope of knowledge in different topic and to the crypto space making it more addictive than facebook.

I am just a student and I also have to restrict myself in using the forum because there are lots of academic activity that needs to he accomplished including the review session you needed to attend to. You are right, sometimes this forum can ruin a persons life but I think that being ruined by this forum is a good thing.

988  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Merry Christmas Pilipinas! - a christmas day thread on: December 25, 2019, 04:10:39 AM
I wish everyone a Happy Holidays!

Em not mentioning Merry Christmas since not all of us are in the same religion. We may never know every person here what their actual or personal religion may be as it may cause an uncomfortable feeling, and we do not want it to happen to anyone if we just wanted to wish them well in their holidays' celebration. If there is someone whos been offended by your greetings, let them know that the true essence of Christmas is to have happiness with one another or with our loved ones regardless of their religion or if they are unbeliever.

Once again folks, Happy Holidays. Wish ko lang na patuloy lang yung pag unlad ng local section natin since dito ako palagi nakatambay lol. I'll try to contribute as much as possible here in our beloved local crypto community.

990  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: 🔥🔥REGULATING BODY PARA SA MGA BOUNTY PANAHON NA BA?🔥🔥 on: December 23, 2019, 12:25:12 PM
Being knowlegeable when it comes to joining bounty campaign is a must. Hindi tayo pwedeng umasa sa ICO regulation only because the majority of people are getting scammed. As a bounty hunter, we need to have a keen talent in investigating those projects because we are risking our time and efforts.

AFAIK, the forum staff and other moderators are not liable sa pagsusulputan ng scam projects. Secondly, this is originally created to have a discussion for crypto-related stuff. Earning money is not really the focus of this forum.
991  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I enjoy posting on bitcointalk on: December 23, 2019, 05:46:18 AM
Same thoughts, I personally uninstalled my facebook app and spend my time reading a lot here in this forum. I usually spend a couple of hours just to read anything that catches my attention or If I have only queries regarding the technical aspect of a wallet or an exchange. I usually spend my time reading older posts that relate to the history of bitcoin and the cypherpunks LOL. This is not just a hobby but an addiction. This forum serves as a community where I can make new friends who has the same interest, and it makes me happy about that to the point that we have planned to gather a local meet up. Smiley

I may have a signature but still, I consider myself to act and post appropriately based on the forum rules and regulations. I often read a lot than posting crap around the forum. This type of addiction is very rewarding. Grin

Fellow Bitcoin2 Holders?

I just wanted to ask something if anybody here uses Crex Exchange when Buying and Selling their bitcoin2 holdings? I am planning to trade my holding due to personal reasons and I badly need it. Any reviews about that exchange. Nagwoworry ako na baka may problema sa pagdedeposit o kaya sa withdrawal. Sad
993  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Watch out! The $5 Wrench Attack on: December 23, 2019, 03:01:26 AM
I thought this would be a very technical discussion pero hindi pala, it is more likely to be a psychological approach between the bitcoin holder and the people around him/her.

As per my experience, nakakatuwa kasing magshare talaga ng information sa ibang tao about bitcoin lalo na if you are earning in a smart way without exerting too much physical effort compare to their hardwork. For some people including me, it boosts my ego kasi I can do what they cannot do, but then I realized na hindi din maganda pala sa image ko kasi nagiging mayabang ako sa paningin ng ibang tao and much worse I am vulnerable to what they call "Wrench Attack". As of now, di na ako nagpopost sa social media ng mga earnings ko from crypto, mas gusto ko na lang mag stay in private when it comes to financial aspect. Wala din naman palang magandang dulot yung ganon. Smiley

Good Day mga kabayan,

I have read all the information including the replies and the official post. I just wanted to ask if it is a weekly payment directly in our wallet or in a monthly basis? Medyo nalito din ako kung kailan ba talaga endtime nung campaign? According to FAQ, it is mentioned that the end date will be until December 31,2019 but according to gen. campaign info the campaign will run until next year December 20. Huh

Ayun lang naman. I might joined in the campaign. Thank you.

996  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Python and blockchain how to start? on: December 22, 2019, 12:56:45 PM
I assume you have at least an internet connection for a couple of hours in order to download some resources which you can use for learning python and blockchain. I have found some pdf that is free to download in the internet and I think I can share this for the benefit of other members as well.

Mastering Bitcoin: Programming the Open Blockchain
Blockchain For Dummies
Blockchain Easiest Ultimate Guide To Understand Blockchain

Slowly learn the basic first in python before jumping into blockchain.
I recommend you to read The Python Tutotrial, you can save every tutorial there.

997  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Crypto - New Year's Resolution - Win some Bitcoin! on: December 22, 2019, 11:39:05 AM
I have lots of New Years resolution last year that I have failed to do so kasi ang hirap pagsabayin ng pag aaral academically and of course with regards to bitcoin and the blockchain technology. Pero sa ngayon, it looks like I will going to focus more on how this forum works and how blockchain works.

  • Reputed Member - I admire those people who are doing great when it comes to contributing their knowledge sa forum as if they always have the capacity to help better the forum and get rid of crybabies and shitposters. They always make the forum clean and scamfree as much as possible. I admire those people who can gather every bits of information from merit stats up to scam busting. I also want to be like them. How can they do it?
  • Techy - from the start of my start of my journey, I always wanted to join all the technical stuff discussion including the Developmental and Technical Discusssion. I always wanted to speak jargon terms and share my knowledge into the community. This time I may not be able to join such discussion but I'll try my best in learning as much as possible.
  • Lastly, this is the most common wishlist of all the replies above. I also wish to save more bitcoin this year. And I think I am not too late to join the campaigns. Lalo na ngayon halving na naman.

Those are few NY's Resolution but it needs a lot of discipline to achieve each of them. Smiley
998  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: December 08, 2019, 02:13:23 PM
May direct option ba ang coinbase to coins.ph? Kung normal lang or manual rather ang ginawa mo, sa coinbase ang problema or katulad ng iniisip mo maling address ang nilagay mo. Try to check the status sa blockchain explorer kung may pumapasok sa bitcoin address mo.
Yes meron, I check the transaction from Bithomp - XRP Ledger Explorer and it says na success naman yung transaction from Coinbase to Coins.ph.
kapag nagsend ka naman talaga ng XRP ay ilang segundo lang iintayin mo at nasa wallet mo na agad ito dahil sa yobit madalas ako magcashout ng XRP and then send to coins.ph and then instant naman talaga kaya may mali sa coinbase siguro.
This is the first time na delayed yung transaction ko from coinbase to coins, yung mga naunang transaction ko namam eh instant. I did an alternative, I cant do any withdrawals sa yobit kasi yung Destination tag ng XRP Wallet ko sa coins.ph  ay 2 digit lang, that is why I am transferring from Yobit --> Coinbase --> Coins.ph.

Anyways dumating naman yung funds for about 2 hours. Nadelayed lang talaga.
999  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: December 08, 2019, 01:16:26 AM
Anyone here experiencing delayed transaction from coinbase xrp wallet to coins.ph xrp wallet?

I am sure na hindi ako nagkamali sa address na nilagay ko. I am also sure na legit coinbase wallet yung nabuksan ko since nakabookmark yun and I made few transactions before!
1000  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [GUIDE] How to change desired image as Bitcointalk avatar size using app. on: December 03, 2019, 12:37:05 PM
I do not usually download an application on my smartphone since it consumes a lot of my internal storage.

Aside from installing an application, you can also freely download a resized pixel image in the internet. I am using this site whenever I am changing my personal avatar. This saves a lot of your internal storage. Grin
