321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The 27th World Handball Championship 2021! on: January 12, 2021, 07:01:11 PM
So I placed my first bet today on handball. I know nothing about this sport, but it does look really athletic, exciting, and I know for sure my arms couldn't last 10 minutes at the kind of speed and strength they play. I have severe multiple dislocation, exhausted socket... and it's from football, if you believe.

Same here mate. I don't really know what Handball is until now then I've searched it on Youtube and watched some highlights and it was pretty fun to watch. I see it waaaay better and enjoyable than football (if you would play it as well). Also, it reminds me of some childhood room basketball with relatives where you pitch the ball on a box. I guess this would be part of sports I would be searching, watching, and betting on. I just hope that there would also prediction threads for the upcoming handball games in this championship.  Grin
322  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [CHALLENGE] Watch Me Day Trade +80000% in 2021 - $100 to $80000 on: January 12, 2021, 06:22:27 PM
~

I will try to grow my day trading account from 100 USD to 80000 USD in 2021, growing it by +80000%.
~

Honestly, upon reading your title made me laugh and doubt with a curiosity of how could you do it, but with yourself disclosing your own identity in this forum? I then let myself hear on what you would say on the video. It's quite risky TBH yet with your safe plays and risk management, I see that you could really make it successful. Quite curious with how you've come up with your win rate percentage, is it from your past futures trades?

I'm quite interested with this and came up with the idea of trying the challenge as well, but I'm no analyst nor a day trader. Do you have telegram so I can contact you? I'll send you a PM here in the forum.
323  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Improving Cryptowisser.com's Crypto Debit Card List - LOOKING FOR IDEAS on: January 12, 2021, 05:48:58 PM

- what do you feel is missing from the Debit Card List?
- what do you feel is unnecessary info or just dead weight, in the Debit Card List?
- any other ideas on how to improve it?

Seems that you are working really hard for a better user experience of your platform. Good thing that you gets responses from possible end-users on ideas yet also be knowledgeable as well with the past suggestions that you could imply in your overall platform. In example, I'd still suggest the ideas I've suggested recently:
  • sorting method whereas users can click the column title to sort everything in either ascending or descending order since you are using table to show the data
  • the underline and over-weighted card name.

With that, I hope you could imply it in your overall design. I'm not onto cards so I'm fine with the list. Just, its good to have a consistent front end.

Ps. If you want to have a front-end mockup, I'd be please to submit my suggestion. I can also style it with CSS. Feel free to slide me a DM.
Here's my thread with a UI/UX mockup - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5296215.msg55743329#msg55743329

325  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: More Trezor.io phishing sites on: January 08, 2021, 06:06:38 AM
Unfortunately, reporting such fake pages is literally a fight with windmills, because if we knock down one fake page, at least 5 new identical ones will appear. The big blame for this is the hosting companies that do not have any checks that would go in the direction of phishing prevention - of course it is something that would be expensive and time-consuming for them.
~
We can also report phishing to Google, so such sites will be blocked in most browsers : https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_general/

Lol indeed. Those fake pages are just easy to duplicate and be instantly re-register. But actually, you can report it in namecheap if the IP of the people behind registering those phishing sites lies only to one IP (AFAIK they can detect it, unless they use VPN), and they can block them from registering again.

It's really good to still report this on namecheap. However, it is much better to have the safety on our front end. Bookmarking the main page of Trezor makes a huge step towards preventing the visiting of those phishing sites. Hence, report it or not, safety must still rely on the end0sers themselves. After all, trezor gives warning to the users about this, so it is really a user's fault when he isn't aware with this common kind of attacks.
326  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Wallet was scammed of my 400 uni on: January 08, 2021, 02:04:32 AM
I am not begging and sorry if I make it look that way I am only looking for answers to the problem looks like I have got my answers and it makes me upset knowing this person will continue to do this to others in similar situation to me I do have a lot of information from this address they are involved in a scam coin seto coin they have a wallet that holds a huge amount of these I bought some not knowing it was a scam so this person is tied into a major scam that money laundered thousands from people I will pursue this the best I can and keep tabs on it any help or information would be very helpful thanks everyone for advice sorry for spelling and proper punctuation as I am very upset and pissed off that people like this get away with such things

There is only one thing you could do right now, move forward and improve. One huge possibility is that you have been compromised in your own end, or in layman's term, the device/email you've used in making those wallet had been hacked or you've somehow stored your seed phrases either online or on your device. Either way, it is irreversible and this kind of traumatizing event is in fact common. You cannot report nor have a case against an anonymous person which your evidence only relies on the transaction history alone that points onto no one.

From now, if you are investing money on something, prioritize your security first before engaging on such activities, so you could prevent this from happening again.
327  Economy / Gambling / Re: playtech's new live game - Adventures Beyond Wonderland on: January 07, 2021, 08:08:32 PM
I'm a big fan of these live gameshows - and yes, I know the odds are not great, but they are fun as heck!

I play crazy time a lot and saw that Playtech has this new game, but it's not on any of the popular bitcoin casinos.    Anyone know where we can play this?

https://www.playtech.com/news/playtech-launches-adventures-beyond-wonderland-live-casino-headline-game-show

All of the gambling casinos I've been played on doesn't really have good live shows as it a bit off to the idea of online gambling, which is many might found it unreliable that it can be easily fixed or just show replays. I'm not fond as well of live game shows and Futuur, Roobet, and Duelbits doesn't support it either (just for the note).

@OP, if you are often in a particular gambling platform, you can send then a request to review the game you are suggesting and they might add it if they could contact Playtech. It is really possible mostly if the platform you use treats their user's suggestions well.
328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever proven fairness of games? on: January 07, 2021, 07:38:02 PM
Hi!

This is a question that has been on my mind for quite some time. You can see the term 'provably fair' used all over the place in the Bitcoin gambling market but in this case I'm referring to in-house games in casinos which offer the option to prove fairness of the game to the player.

Have you ever proven fairness of a game yourself or know someone who has or do you simply trust a casino claiming their games are provably fair?

I've already been on dozens and dozens of online gambling casinos and their fairness is often measured by how many users have been wagered that wins that must be greater compared to those loses wagers. You cannot really prove a fairness of a platform if its clients were only composed of not exceeding 100, as the probability is more reliable when the data is of a greater number. Hence, I know I can trust the provably fair of a platform once the total number of wins is more than 50%.
329  Other / Meta / Re: The corruption here is just way to obvious. What's more concerning is ... on: January 07, 2021, 07:07:33 PM
I don't know if it made anything worse, but it did make things more convoluted IMO.  When you've got trust inclusion/exclusions; three tiers of trust scores you can leave for other members (neutral/positive/negative); and a flag system on top of that, it gets quite confusing--especially to those who might be new and unfamiliar with the trust system.

And am I led to believe that this thread is really about Chipmixer jealousy?  OP mentioned "merit cycling" and despite Foxpup's team's name, nobody in it is cycling merits among its members or abusing the merit system (that I know of).  Hell, take a look at the merits I've sent and ask yourself if I'm favoring anyone in particular.

LOL. The OP is really obnoxious to be so fluent in various rhetorical terms yet points his fingers onto various things that would satisfy his unending insecurity to points that were irrelevant to a certain matter that supposed to be directly explained right away.

I'm an anti-politics myself yet I've never experience being opposed nor oppressed by certain group of people in here, nor by anyone. It all lies back to one question, what makes you create an account in this forum? For me, I've start to learn and to share knowledge about crypto, as it was supposed to be -- nothing more, nothing less. So what's the point of arguing the trust system when in fact you can just be a normal user in here whom is here for pure knowledge gathering and sharing? Yes, people can abuse the trust system, but it can be fixed with in a nice and polite way. Being aggressive to be heard out only makes a person desperate for both attention and power, power to take revenge and not to fix things.

Now, I know you'll point any flaws you can find in my recent posts and activities, or I post this because of the payment. Too cliche..
330  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Peso ID - Short Bitcoin on: January 07, 2021, 06:37:02 PM
Peso ID is a simple Bitcoin wallet shortener. Turn any address into 3 characters: https://peso.id

No github? This platform isn't even an open-source one despite of it being so simple... or is it just a shortener or might be something else? I won't be using this until you've published its back-end. We cannot be risking our addresses (although it is already public), as it can be used in various ways -- as SFR10 have said, it can be a target. But one thing is for sure, a newbie posting this remains everything unreliable. Better beware until the OP discloses how the platform really works behind.
331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Attention: Biden has officially won, make sure your sportsbook pay you. on: January 07, 2021, 06:08:23 PM
I don’t know who needs to see this but hey it’s finally over as Biden has officially won, and now your sports book can no longer hide or make any excuses about not releasing your payment if you had wagered on Biden. It’s been a long stressful waiting period for you’ll, but now make sure that you’re paid, or post here if the casinos don’t pay so we all can know that they’re a scam site, and we all can then stay away from them.

Thank you for reminding! I'm really out of the news and I've just remembered I bet on him against Trump. It took to long to finalize those results (pandemic and safety precautions) and many might have been out of the radar in the past few weeks, noting that it had been holidays. I've seen that I've already paid (can't really tell which platform) and thank you for reminding me I have bets in this game!  Grin
332  Economy / Services / Re: P2P Bitcoin traders wanted for support on: January 07, 2021, 05:31:15 PM
Dear Community,

We are looking to work with some community members to help us with trade and risk analysis as well as testing of ongoing changes.
The work is not much, maximum 20% workload and we of course pay for that time in BTC. More details in PM.
~

Is this a broker-type support trading? Like the traditional OTC P2P trades? So basically you are hiring those who have knowledge in both marketing and trading to work through calls? Or you are hiring just a simple support? I mean, there are tons of people out here that has Crypto Trading Experience but could not be fit for jobs that makes OTC trades, whilst some can just be analysts. All I mean is that, upon opening an inquiry in this forum, you must be more specific on the job you are offering. Just my 2 cents Smiley
333  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to take BITCOIN profit without selling? on: January 07, 2021, 04:58:24 PM
But taking profits IS selling for profit. If you don't sell them(at least some), you technically haven't earned off the price appreciation of your coins.

As for the "doubled their Bitcoin amount" part, since we're talking about a bull run anyway, I'm pretty sure they meant that the USD value of their coins doubled. Or unless, they traded successfully until they actually ended up doubling their bitcoin holdings through spot/leverage exchanges.

This is the only way the OP's situation relies on, or maybe he is wondering more in such way that it is only just HOLDING the coin. You don't sell, yet you see you are having profit.

Not selling it isn't a successful profit, nor taking the profit after all. Hence, those you see might be the 'estimated profit' out of the entry price compared to current price.

And for the OP, please, never rely on the Youtube 'analysists' alone on making a decision. Never be jebaited on their profit in this bullish market. Since you seemed to be interested in how to earn money with trading, why not start from the beginning? You don't need to rush your way and earn profit, there is a long journey. Don't be feared on missing out (FOMO).
334  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Improving Cryptowisser.com's Exchange List - LOOKING FOR IDEAS on: January 07, 2021, 03:49:08 PM
  • what do you feel is missing from the Exchange List?
  • what do you feel is unnecessary info or just dead weight, in the Exchange List?
  • any other ideas on how to improve it?

Its nice seeing another project made by a user here! Honestly, I myself am a designer and a little bit web developer and I have many suggestions that would (for me) improve your platform in various ways possible.

  • When 'traded currencies' are selected, it is better not to show a bold stroke on the text input, and better have it on the outside of the element, the same as how you highlight the input element in 'max fee'. You can rather put a placeholder in it by using a placeholder tag so that we know that such element accepts text input.
  • In the same 'traded currency' input element, it is good to have a logo beside the results. And if possible, it is also good to be a dropdown element whereas it shows cryptos that are popular based on the ranking in the market. If you are getting its result data from an API, most APIs also have the crypto's logo so you might fetch it easily.
  • Decentralized isn't a continent lol. You can either have a checkbox whereas it says Decentralized and make it on default checked with same dropdown button beside it for the continent whereas it is disabled by default, and just show DEX on results. And when the user unchecks it, it would enable the continent dropdown element.
  • Additional Options can below the boxes in one straight row as it was only little checkboxes (still, keep a good padding and alignment, do not congest!), then the Filter fits right beside the max fee.
  • You can also make the whole filters be in a single div, and it can be hidden and shown with a dropping down element (very optional)
  • Since all the data is displayed in a table, you can actually have a filter in it by simply clicking the titles that would filter everything based on the selected column title, the same as how the forum filters data.
  • IMPORTANT: Remove the underline on the names. you can just make the whole row clickable and redirect us to the info page of the exchange.
  • Better have only 2 to 3 colors. If your main theme is blue, just have both blue and white and just use an additional complementary color to blue for important elements (such as sponsored listing).
  • DARK MODEEE  Grin

Those where just my little suggestion in the page you've indicated. I hope you'd be fine with this suggestions lol. Goodluck!
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was not wrong to bought bitcoin. on: January 07, 2021, 02:45:34 PM
I bought Bitcoin a few days ago for12 thousand dollars.  At that time the price of one bitcoin was 28 thousand dollars.  At present, the price of Bitcoin is 37 thousand dollars.  Which is really good news for me.  I made a post after buying bitcoin to see if I made a mistake in buying bitcoin.  I was convinced that I had done nothing wrong and that it was now clear.
Below is a link to my previous post:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5305436.msg55985225#msg55985225

Since you've gained enough profit for a good exit, I think it is preferable to go focus on analyzing the current market and think of when would you like to exit. As of now, the trendline of Bitcoin is unstoppable and you might gather some analysis as well form various traders out there. In fact, it's up to your risk management on how much you can handle frustration after you either sell early or sell late. It's a good choice that you've manage to buy at that price and earned huge just by holding it, but it is also your choice when to stop. Yes you are right at the first place, but you might not soon, hence everything is up to your risk appetite.
336  Economy / Speculation / Re: What you'll do when BTC price will go down heavily and fast? on: January 06, 2021, 02:24:32 PM
assuming the history of BTC from 2017 - 2018 will repeat this year, what you'll do with your BTC?

Have you ever heard of stop loss? If you ever had your BTC from 30K upto its above price, you should stop loss at 30K as well, same applies as to those who had it from 30K below, in which you would just take the profit and then return/buy on the dips. But honestly with the current uptrend and huge whales continuously coming to the crypto market, it is really impossible to break the support or half the current ATH. So selling it isn't really a good idea now, but accumulating is the best and safest way, whereas it is inevitable that the BTC would soon reach for maybe 1 USD per sat. Too impossible? Well think again.
337  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: bitcoinparty.co - bitcoin prices comparison in Europe & US on: January 06, 2021, 01:59:51 PM
I think I found a bug while using small amounts for the "BTC > EUR" pair [swaply keeps giving negative amounts up until 29 euros] and on top of that if I use the least possible amount [9 euros], it keeps showing as a recommended exchange for that pair [I believe those shown with a light green background are considered best in each table]: SS of the bug
- Noticed a similar behavior for the PLN pair as well [SS for Flyingatom and Bitcantor].

  • If for some reason it's not a bug, then you should probably consider delisting those exchanges that return with negative results.

I think it has an error in processing the API from swaply which then returned a null value of 1 BTC = 0 euro then had computed on the backend the swaply fee and your EURO amount which then returned a negative value indicated on your screenshot. But there are another possibility, and it might be the swaply's API being inaccessible the time you've encountered the problem. Those were just my ideas Wink

It seems that you are making this project waaaay bigger than I expected. Keep this up dude! I'll try to see other bugs as well to help impprove your system!
338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How secure is a casino from attacks ? on: January 05, 2021, 02:27:29 PM
I just noticed, I wasn't aware that Amazon is providing services to allow people to use their machines for specific computing tasks, if that is the case, anyone could brute force a task to hack and break into an account of an algorithm which could cause big trouble. It is a good decision that they are preventing it nowadays.

Apparently, Amazon has his Cloud Services, the same as Google and Microsoft Azure does. Even some companies are made for a cloud GPU services, but most of them have restrictions on how many tasks you could run on their server and how much it may costs you, so no one would even do that way lol.

Some casinos (like roobet) uses 256-bit encryption, and in which they run their own server. And if a gambling casino never discloses what type of encryption they use, they are probably using a weak one, as disclosing what encryption you are using is actually making your platform more secured with them knowing you use a strong one. But in fact, I've never played nor encountered on a gambling platform that only uses MD5, many already had their hands on various possibilities of words deciphered onto an MD5, so no one is safe in a platform that uses it.
339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The gambler who manages to beat the casino on: January 05, 2021, 01:54:35 PM
~

Lol cheating must be out of the list automatically. I do also cheat in our local slots just by lowkey smashing the machines and voila! many coins are popping up. So with that, I can be considered as one of those gamblers who beats casinos? Also, some machines in some casino have their fixed codes/program and not randomly generate wins. e.g. if I there are 20 loses in a machine, the next one is an absolute win. And yes, it happened to me. Yet I don't considered it beating the casino nor cheating at all.

Some unpopular opinion: does even someone manage to beat an online casino? No one... but not to those who abuses bugs in some faulty casinos Wink
340  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Resources for trading strategies? on: January 05, 2021, 01:19:36 PM
There any good guides out there?  How to divide your investment, strategies to follow, etc.  Long term or short term?

There are tons to get your guides and tutorials out there. One of the medium I am fond of is watching Youtube videos. It actually depends on how many knowledges and lessons you've already learned in your life with regards to saving, investing, and trading. But as for me, I am fond of watching Cotton Candy's[1] youtube channel as I see it very informative with regards to your matter and my interests.

If you are fond of reading books and stuffs, there are tons of writers which I don't really remember their Booktitles and their names as well. But be cautious, some 'analysts' and traders out there just wanted to take advantage of those who want to learn things from them, then they would require you to pay for various knowledge and soon might just make profit out of you.

Another not so unpopular opinion is joining various telegram channels that is active in trading and investments, which I don't really have for now. Some content creators about this matter do have their telegram channels, it's just your preference on whom would teach you the most.  Grin
