961  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Merit Giveaway- (2020) improvement/changes on: December 31, 2019, 05:35:39 AM
You have learned those things the hard way, even if you know that every addiction will be bad for your mental wellbeing. Well, at least you have learned something important for the betterment of your life. Just do not repeat your mistake twice. Wink

My mistake and lesson would be this. I did waste my time doing non productive things instead of reading and contributing here in the forum. I have lost the opportunity to be somewhat become a good contributor in the forum in the last couple of months. I'd rather choose to play videogames instead of reading and constructing post in the community which might benefit other people. I fvckin lost the opportunity to make formidable friends which can help me better in terms of knowledge.

At sa tingin ko ang solusyon don is to maximize my stay here in this community. Help people in terms of their need. So far the solution is still in progress and I am doing it right now. I just hope na mag paid off yung ginagawa ko.

Btw Happy New Year to all. Let us face the year 2020 with maximum effort.
962  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Your biggest achievement in 2019 with BITCOIN! on: December 31, 2019, 05:16:57 AM
Congratulations to all the people who have reached their 2019 goals with the help of the community. Keep doing your best this coming 2020 and I hope you'll stay track on track with your consistency and hardwork.

As per the OP, I stopped using the forum kasi I needed to give time in my academic life, I struggled a lot nung thesis days and fortunately natapos din naman at nakapasa. I needed to give myself a break sa forum because those hardtimes gives me headache that is why wala masyadong big achievement.

Of course I don't want to be stucked in a rock bottom, I used the forum as an alternative for mental therapy kasi it feels good to digest a lot of information only by reading and posting. Getting paid and learning continuously is probably the most important achievement this year and I am grateful with that.

As of now? Kahit papaano nakakaipon ako to help my parents finance my education as a college student. And I think that is the most aspect I've ever acheived. Hoping for a great story next year 2020. Smiley

Holy Crap!

I was already a victim of the said malware spreading across the social media platform and I thought that it was just a simple Holiday Greetings. Fortunately, I am not fond of savings passwords in an internet browser thus it increases the security of my accounts. I opened it using my Android phone and send it to a few people in social media sites. Roll Eyes Well, I did warn them after seeing this post and I encouraged them to reset their browser and change their social media accounts password just to avoid being pwned.
964  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Notifications: Mention/Quote/Merit on: December 30, 2019, 05:09:23 AM
Greetings!

Am I the only one who noticed that the mention and quote notification by piggy/maggiordomo is not working anymore? Tagal ko ng di nakakareceive ng quote or mention but then there is no notification dito sa account ko sa forum. I just find it strange kasi it gives me an upperhand when it comes engaging in multiple discussion as well as to be informed right after when someone mentioned me.

966  Other / Meta / Re: [Just Kidding] Merit giveaway board request in marketplace on: December 30, 2019, 01:03:39 AM
These merit giveaways just serve as a party for a specific occasion only because we are approaching a new decade and I think this won't last long. Creating a sub board will definitely increase the number of posters whos merit begging disguised in a merit give away post and I think most of the merit giveaways will start from people whos rank is between Member and Sr. Member. Secondly, I think creating such board will definitely defeat the purpose of having a purposeful discussion and the implementation of merit the merit system.

Even without special event there are people whos giving merit in exchange for a quality topic or reply to a specific subject in the technicalities of crypto given by the poster and I think that is enough, thus it increases the knowledge of the forum member. Let's just consider these giveaways as a gift to all of us.
967  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Discussion about cryptotalk current situation. on: December 30, 2019, 12:13:44 AM
Greetings folks!

I have a question with regards to the post counting of the yobit bot in this campaign.

Let us say na nakumpleto ko yung 5 post per day and then there is still a few hours left before the next day, since I wanted to contribute more into the discussion may mga gusto pa akong ipost. Does the bot count my exceeding post for the next day since I have reached the maximum post count in the same day.

Thank you.
968  Other / Meta / Re: This is my story in 2019, what is your story ? on: December 29, 2019, 06:45:12 AM
Honestly, I am not a self made Sr. Member because I was already promoted as a Sr. Member when the merit system was introduced. I do not consider myself as a lucky community member because it did not pushed my limit in self education about cryptocurrency and the forum, thus it makes me stupid spamming around the forum just to increase my post count and get paid.

As of now, I think I am making just a bit of progress and that feels good. There is still a long way to go before reaching the top and I should enjoy that process. For now, I am making friends with our local section and I think that it will be a good idea to start my journey in this community.
969  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [GAME] "Bring Me" Chance to win XRP coins on: December 29, 2019, 05:47:33 AM
I'll be guessing around 362 merits before this year ends. Have a prosperous new Year!
970  Other / Meta / Re: Stake your Bitcoin address here on: December 29, 2019, 03:22:08 AM
Kindly, Need human to verify my address.
The bot said that your address could not be verified. You are unable to sign a message with an address that starts with "3".

Quote
There is no way for pay to script hash addresses without private key (yes, they are possible) to sign a message. For multi-sig-addresses (a subset of P2SH addresses) there are private keys, but there is no consistent definition on how a signature for a message would be verified. Thus, its impossible to sign a message with an address starting with a 3 in a realiable way. With the addition of P2SH-P2WPKH addresses (SegWit, but starting with a 3) this did not change. At least it did not in bitcoin core, other wallets may still allow signing or verification.

di na ma access yung group, paki update ng link..

Here is the answer to your question! The link is not broken but it is in private due to scammers lurking around the digital space.

Hi sir, thanks for interest.
naka hide po ang group. madami kasing pumapasok na masasamang loob. for now invite based lang. kaya paki message mo dito fb name at iadd kita.

974  Local / Pamilihan / Re: CMPH - CryptoMiners Philippines Official Thread on: December 28, 2019, 06:14:17 AM
Hi sir, thanks for interest.

Thank you for inviting me sa facebook. Much appreciated!

Personally, I am mining pero CPU mining Monero nalang gingawa ko and Browser mining NIMIQ.
then if you're familiar win Pi (mobile mining). cclick mo lang sya once/day to proof na active kapa mag mmine n sya pero no processing power.. just like idle gaming. nag bbased sya sa oras..

Can you please tell me more about Pi mobile mining. Since bago lang din to sa pandinig ko and I would like to know how this mining actually works. I often use my mobile phone in a day to day basis, sayang naman yung opportunity na makapagmine at kumita kahit papaano.

Clarification, click ko lang once a day? So it will continue mining kahit hindi nakaopen yung app at naka sleep yung phone?
975  Other / Meta / Re: [Merits Giveaway]2019 in review. A big thanks to many forum users. on: December 28, 2019, 04:42:52 AM

yahoo62278 - I would like to honor you for managing Yobit campaign.
bL4nkcode - for answering my query about mycelium wallet.
theymos - you are a freakin' good leader. I always admire that.

Cheers to everyone!
976  Other / Meta / Re: What effect would this forum vanishing have on your life? on: December 28, 2019, 04:12:20 AM
Am I the only one who is eager to open the bitcointalk forum at the start of the day instead of the social media? I'd rather open my link for notification / mention  created by LoyceV to stay updated in the community than checking my notification in facebook.

Maybe this is a bit negative outcome but I'd rather spend my time reading a lot here rather than doing my academic homework (college stud) because it feels like I am gaining more knowledge reading here than attending the university. I consider the BTC I earned as a bonus for using the forum but I mainly use this to help support my parents in financing my education as I go thru attaining my scholarship.

I also made a lot of friends in this community and I will be missing those cryptoheads. However, if the forum will hlbe lost, the knowledge and the growing interest will still remain.
977  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Russlenat Campaign Management on: December 28, 2019, 01:38:48 AM
I'll be helping you bruh sa pag advertise ng signature campaign mo. I am currently enrolled sa campaign so I decided na avatar na lang.

Anyways, I don't think that it is enough to have just a letter "R" in an avatar. Mahirap marecognize yung campaign mo using only letter. Maybe I'll go create an avatar design for free if you allow me to do so.
978  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Generating a different wallet address. on: December 27, 2019, 06:10:51 AM
Yes, just tap the key plus icon then select the Advanced button (You will ask your pin if set), there, you can import a private key that holds a single address and/or just tap the "Generate BTC SA account" and you can choose whether a legacy type, segwit native or nested one.
What does Generate BTC SA Account really means? I googled it but there is no definitive answer.

Anyways thank you for the answer! Kabayan!
979  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Generating a different wallet address. on: December 27, 2019, 05:47:37 AM
Greetings!

I installed my mycelium wallet and created an HD (Hierarchical Deterministic) wallet that is associated in my 12 seed backup phrase. Is there any way I could created another wallet that is not associated in my seed phrase?

I am planning to use the single address option in mycelium wallet.
980  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In 2019, Students Demanded Blockchain Education. In 2020, It’s Coming on: December 27, 2019, 05:01:56 AM
Available courses on Bitcoin and Blockchain Technology from colleges and Univers, I just want to share this post made by trian since it also teaches students about the importance and technicalities of blockchain technology and some of the courses offered are free as long as you have an internet access.

As per the OP, this is a good jumpstart to help enlighten techy youngsters about the complexities of blockchain as it can enhance their creativity and logical ability in improving the blockchain network. It might be a good idea if they will be adding it to college courses that is related in computer field due to the relevance of the subject. It will not be surprising if blockchain will tend to focus on different aspect of the economy aside from financial area.
