501  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Potential business partnership. on: October 31, 2020, 06:25:00 PM
BTC

Hello
For the last 6 months, we have been working on a complex trading platform and on this occasion, we are looking for 7 partners who will help the platform to be completed and at the same time be users of the same and earn money.
The system is a cross trading platform with unique automation and a bot that guarantees a profit.
We are developers who have spent your budget on the platform and in this way we want to get in touch with potential partners who would join in the final stage and profit very well.
If you are a medium or big trader, in a few minutes you will easily find yourself in it.
The platform is a Saas format with a unique bot system that will be more than useful for trading anyone in this business.
Our idea is that in the beginning, we don't let it to other users at all, but that we only trade through it. After talking to us it will be clear to you why.
Maybe I missed the forum and apologize to the moderators if I am for the ban.

First, you've mentioned a very fraudulent statement which none would ever believe -- "a bot that guarantees a profit", as even bots fails some trades and the worse is it can lose many possible trades. Second, you shouldn't tease us with an offer that requires us to initiate a conversation to you. Remember, you are the one who are in need of 7 partners, not us. And posting a public thread simply implies that you've must indicate every questionable answers with your offer, and stop letting us do the first move. "Partnership" seems to be a new scheme, yet those 6 months of developing a complex trading platform is a long time span which you should've found and take such "partnerships" a priority in the first place.

Hello

Transaction has not been confirmed for 7 days

Does anyone know a solution to this or can help?

tx : cfc3fd886d51be586480e350bfc9e1491bacee0df446c256e592a7d4080a3049

Based on blockchair.com, your transaction seems to not be that long for 7 days, as the platform indicates it was 4 days ago. Also, your mempool priority is 81,886/142,493 with just 27sats per byte and vbyte, so with that, it really might take for about a week to be confirmed. If you wanted to be notified, click on the notify me button in the blockchair -- https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/transaction/cfc3fd886d51be586480e350bfc9e1491bacee0df446c256e592a7d4080a3049

Did we answered you well? better lock this thread so no one would answer the same. Lock thread button is located at the bottom left of this thread. Thanks!

504  Economy / Services / Re: Project on: October 30, 2020, 08:51:20 AM
It's basically about raising awareness of certain aspects of the crypto world by engaging in conversations in small closed groups. You would get all the details after you confirm your interest with me, what I can tell you at this time is that the job only consists of spreading information, knowledge, and comprehension of the crypto-based project. No extra work is expected from you, apart from already mentioned. Once we settle an agreement on how much would you like to be paid, my department will give you a detailed description of what the project is about. The salary varies between $40 and up to $100 per month and it depends on the extent of your knowledge, readiness to work flexible hours, and eagerness to be a part of something new and innovative.

Salary is pretty damn low. Honestly, without telling us anything about your project and what would be behind this inquiry, then you might find less to no interests from the users at all. It's like you're hiring us in here yet we don't know what would do. All of us do wanted to have a job, but not with this kind of anonymity and ambiguity offer that only tells us to be engaged with some shady online social networking thing that told us by some anonymous forum user. Kindly state a simple background with the real-offer and project and not let us think nor make effort of what we would do.
505  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: $100 USD vs $10,000 USD Trading Capital on: October 30, 2020, 04:40:32 AM
I hear some people that doing trades and complaining about their trading capital.

So, does trading capital really matter at all?
Are there any disadvantages to having a low capital the higher one?

My point is, having a higher trading capital will make you a good trader or successful trader?
Because what I think is if you have high capital, the risk is high for sure yet the reward is also high, but when you have low trading it's still the same, you got low risk and still low reward.

Having a huge capital do simply means you could have a huge profit as well. Low capitals often get slow income as the gains would simply be low as well. Though you are right that having a huge capital is really risky, yet it really depends on the trader if he has a huge risk appetite and if he/she would want a huge profit or not (really depends on his capability tho). Hence, it matters depending on the purpose of the trader, and his risk-management and appetite.
506  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Anyone using crypto exchange wallet on: October 29, 2020, 11:55:32 PM
~

Indeed. Kapag gumamit pa siya ng Binance exchanger, mas mahirap and mas matagal pa yung process compared sa direct crypto-wallet na, in which pag gumamit siya ng coins.pro, eh mas efficient kasi kahit na malaki ang fees, for sure na mas lalaki pa iyon kung dadami pa yung platforms na patutunguhan nito. One thing is for sure, coins.pro is I guess the best option, compared to having multiple platforms pero in the end same lang din ng babagsakan, either PHP or BTC niya sa coins kasi mas mabilis magwithdraw don. Honestly, dahil supported na ng coins ang XRP, good option yon kung gusto niya ng mababang fees, lalo na't hindi gaanong kavolatile yung XRP. (just my .69 cents  Grin)

...
What do you think?

For me, honestly, bounty hunters are those whom are often more active in their social media websites than the forum. Yes, some might be active in the forum while being a bounty participant, yet in most cases, especially those that were higher ranks, tends to either not wear any signature at all or participate less in signature bounties, as some were good projects yet have uncertain outcome while some are really promising (such as Digital Gold Bounty [1]). Hence, bounty hunters that wears and still participates in signature bounties are somehow less active in the forum yet being so active in social media campaigns, like 40% forum, 60% social media marketing.

508  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Short Bitcoin - Advice from the Professional Trader on: October 29, 2020, 02:22:03 PM
The cryptocurrency market is developing, that is why there appearing more and more ways to get profit. Some of them are easy and can be used by newcomers, and other ones are only for professionals because they require a lot of experience and are a bit risky.

To start with, you need to know that when investors short sell bitcoin on a crypto exchange, they sell a Bitcoin they don’t possess. To do that they borrow bitcoin from exchange margin lenders, while the position is open.

The whole point of going short on Bitcoin is to sell the asset with the hope that it will be redeemed soon for a lower price.

Here is an example: you sell borrowed Bitcoin when the price is $10,000. The price drops to $8,000. You repurchase the Bitcoin for $8,000 to return it to the lender.

And you make $2,000 ($10,000 - $8,000) out of thin air!

Honestly, this isn't a verified way to trade at all. You cannot just expect that you can short instantly and earn for approx. 2,000USD by shorting bitcoin. Honestly, no one would ever lend you with a bearish market, as even lenders know how to trade as well, hence they are also aware that lending in a going down/red market would simply making them take the risk they never wanted. Trading, whether you buy at short or long, isn't an income out of thin air. Trading is a gradual income, which doesn't really give you time to breathe air at all, with the risk and tension with the volatile market.

Also, do you know that there are really less lenders that gives that huge 1BTC to anyone. Goodluck if you would found one, online.
509  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: withdraw freebitco.in trouble, whether freebitco.in a scam? on: October 29, 2020, 01:16:19 PM
last month there was no problem with withdrawing freebitco.in
but yesterday withdrawal of freebitco.in was problematic, I have made withdrawals and notifications in email the withdraw success, but I checked the link trx error (https://www.blockchain.com/en/btc/tx/013dc49cf90068a632eb9ce34c56dd6ca3d730d297f18a2833dc56ecc4b4112b.), and I did not receive withdrawals

usually freebitco.in withdrawals have never had a problem, this is the first time getting a withdrawal problem on freebitco.in  Huh

This actually isnt a problem at all. Yet, what makes this an issue is that if you justify a reputable platform with a doubt if they were a fraud/scam with a thread indicating a simple problem that can be solved just by an obvious solution - contacting their support. Freebitco.in has been running for years and there are no proved allegations that they are scam. So, I do suggest to you that you both edit the main topic title as it was a clickbait and do lock this, as it seems that bL4nkcode already answered you well.
510  Other / Meta / Re: Signatures gone? on: October 29, 2020, 03:00:23 AM
This is the rule blocking them:
Code:
bitcointalk.org##.signature

Which is very weird, since signatures don't necessarily hold advertisements and this will block all of them (even the "normal" ones).

So, the uBlock Origin extension will also start blocking all signatures for new installations or for the users that decide to clear their filters list cache. If theymos wants to (or cares enough) he can just remove/rename the "signature" class of the div to bypass the filter.

I guess the uBlock Origin extension and/or Firefox updates includes external advertisements as suspicious websites such as the signatures in the forum, as it can be used to hide a certain phishing website in which not everyone in the forum, especially those who aren't aware of checking the reference website first before clicking the signature. Well, it was based on my understanding upon reading the uBlock github repos,[1] in which all of those possible url indicated in a website (particularly those that aren't really connected with the real domain of the website -- this forum) is being treated as malicious website, hence blocking the whole signature element[2].

511  Other / Meta / Re: Ledger database leak --> Phishing on: October 28, 2020, 01:19:58 PM
Weirdly enough, I haven't received such an email even if I bought twice from Ledger's website in the past. Change your email addresses from time to time ladies and gents!

Maybe you haven't received because you gradually change your email address, in which almost 0.1 out of 10 people do, as many uses their emails in various platforms and businesses/jobs as well. Though it's a bit tiring and security really depends on your precautionary measures in your accounts, changing it would just simply make track of you with your previous email accounts. Also, phishing do only involves when a user visits a certain link. One thing that we must do is to both use this safety precaution:
Seems they also use punycodes in the url
Quote
...you can see that the url is incorrect (notice the dot on the second ‘e’ => ledgėr)...
https://www.coindesk.com/phishing-attack-ledger-cryptocurrency-wallet

I enabled IDN_show_punycode in my browser settings and the ledgėr.com would look like this: xn--ledgr-9za.com

You can read more info here: UPDATED!!! Punycode and how to protect yourself from Homograph Phishing attacks?

or just don't visit external links at all, especially those that are attached within emails.
512  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 2FA HW security keys. on: October 28, 2020, 12:59:03 PM
Am I right in understanding that the most functional and convenient to date is the Yubico YubiKey 5 NFC security key?

yes, yubico are currently leading here. i would recommend to test couple different models since they have different workflows (nfc/port)

Not unless a user wanted to have a more useful security key such as using Ledger and Trezor as their 2FA physical key -- in which is much expensive yet the features and use, even the security measures, can be the same level as the YubiKey but on the upper hand when it comes to being a hardware wallet as well (which is really their focus). Hence, if the user were more onto cryptocurrencies and a security-sensitive with his holdings, yet a little wanted to be secured in passwords per se, I guess Ledger and Trezor are better. (just my .69 cents)
513  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How do you choose the best exchange for crypto trading? on: October 28, 2020, 12:01:21 PM
There are thousands of crypto-exchanges out. What characterstics and features are the most important to look for when selecting best exchange for trading.

It's not really that hard to choose the best exchanges suitable for everyone. Even a single google search can give you enough results. Here's what I've found upon searching on google with the keywords "crypto exchange platform"
Best Crypto Exchanges of 2020 - Investopedia

Meanwhile, if you would read it, better not fully invest on the top just because of what you've searched. I basically suggest Binance even for beginners if you would try to trade cryptos. But still, people has their own different tastes and different levels of satisfaction. Hence, one might not be suitable for you while it does to some.
514  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Anong nangyari? on: October 28, 2020, 11:07:05 AM
Wala kaso dun sa merit source for me, ang pinaka makakahelp talaga dito is campaigns na nagaccept ng local board posts. Karamihan kasi sa campaigns/bounty ngayon is more on gambling/altcoin,bitcoin discussion thread.

Actually nakadepende yung post designation and board requirement sa may mismong campaign manager eh. May mga campaign manager na ayaw sa local boards kasi hindi sila aware sa kung ano yung pinaguusapan (basically ang madalas na reason is madaming local board poster dito kaya prinoprohibit ng iba), meanwhile yung ibang CM is ok lang sa kanila, whether the campaign is for gambling platform or in a mixing platform, all they want is the campaign participants na versatile sa maraming boards. Try being so active in the local and post often in local alone, mapapansin mo na baka less yung tumanggap na managers sa'yo (or even baka matanggal ka pa) kasi yung posting and merit should actually be on the forum-wide not on the local wide.

May rebuttal si Mr. Big patungkol sa paglalagay ng Off-topic board sa Pinas, ang sabi niya is magiging pandagdag ng post count which makes sense kasi mahirap iregulate kapag off-topic discussion kasi mas niche ang mga topic which results in low quality posts. In the end, it is far from our control kung wala talagang interesting na crypto-related events sa bansa edi wala. Pinaka angkop na solusyon for now is dumami yung translators natin sa local board.

Indeed, mahirap nga na magka off-topic section rito. Pero sa totoo lang, if the campaign manager is really working hard to verify each and every post's validity, hindi problema magka off-topic board eh.

Hello! I am still very new to this forum, but I saw how versatile the marketplace is! I have been an illustrator for 10 years, and a digital artist for about 5. I went as far as to get a degree in visual art and communication (basically both illustration and graphic design). My delivery time goes from 2 up to 10 days for the most complex pieces. NOTICE - I went through a name change at one point and switched back (Enoltra to ArtLone). You will see both as my signatures and you can see my handwriting is similar.

Good day, artlake!

I've seen that you are good in art yet having a hard time getting clients from this forum. I just wanted to suggest to you that there was an ongoing art contest here in forum and you might want to try it out. Though there are also many good contestants, I guess you have a chance to win it. Though you might have atleast 5 days to make an art work, I think you can do it with your skills. BTW, here's the link, so better check it out!

There are so many applications in here that was so good. I've been thinking for hours of something unique that would not be sounding cliche in the crypto space. Here's my ideas:

Destanumx (DTMX) Pronounced as /destanumex/
Decentralized Stable Coin X

Decentralized Stabilis Numisma X (modern, innovative, digital)

Deunexus (DNX)
Decentralized and Stable, in all connections

Decentralized Eunomia Nexus

Words from:
EUNOMIA was the goddess of good order and lawful conduct. She was associated with the internal stability of a state...
