181  Economy / Services / Re: [For hire] Building a fiat exchange on: April 06, 2021, 03:20:46 PM
So, I'm looking for someone who could build a semi-automatic platform, something similar to the platforms listed on BestChange.

The payment methods that must be supported: WMZ, Skrill, PayPal, BTC, ETH, and USDT.

Users will be able to buy the above using a "local payment method" (X) that has no API. Meaning, it would be impossible to detect these payments unless manually checked by the site's owner.

Whenever a user makes a request to buy BTC for instance, the site owner needs to (manually) check his account of "X" to verify that he has received the funds and then release the payment. All payments have to be released with a push of a button. I'm expecting to have an admin panel with all user requests (DateTime, amount, payment method), etc.

This is just the basic idea of the platform. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

I have been told that there are some scripts online for that, but I haven't found any. If you've already come across one of these, please share.

Note: I'm just posting this on behalf of a friend. If you're ever hired, you'll end up talking to him instead.

Replying for the sake of clarity...

Simply by reading and based on my understanding, basically this would be a P2P platform and would be centralized (since there would be an owner that would check each and every transaction)?? If it was so, then it would be hard for the owner to gain both clients and their trust, as there are already platforms that offers way safer methods like on Binance's P2Ps. I suggest that the platform wouldn't be centralized yet there would be a liquidity or decentralized bank that users could easily swap their cryptos onto fiat.

Also, AFAIK you can find scripts like that in Github, as most of automated payments often are open-source and available at Github. Hope my queries help.
182  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Are you owed a payment of a bounty? then help us expose scammers on: April 01, 2021, 07:34:04 PM
it's only now that the token is listed on an exchange and the market started last Wednesday.
Yes, there is no doubt about it. But the accusation is right that they did not paid the bounty hunters. So that they can keep continue this accusation. Maybe the commenting of play store or app store can force them to come here atleast. But the chance is very low to get paid. Also I don't think that people will be interested to commenting there since they already consider it as scam and forgotten.

If the users that weren't been paid could provide a clean evidence in both paragraph form and chronological manner, then it can be used as a solid evidence against UHIVE. Google Play and App Store isn't really a strong tool for the victim's voice to be heard -- Social Media is. They can be banned on telegram, but publishing an article or just posting it on twitter could spark their alarms. I never saw warnings from projects like "Beware of Accusations!", if they will do it then they are already lost. lol
183  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm wondering who trades with paid signals? on: April 01, 2021, 07:07:30 PM
So. I opened my social networks today and I do not hide it!

Everything that is in the world was once opened and during the opening of all communities there were very few participants at the start.

Nevertheless, I looked at the market for signals selling at 0.25 bitcoin, YES, this is sooo much, and if you lose money through these signals, then this is a tragedy!

To do this, on my channel for today, I give everything for FREE. Check it yourself, I'm not saying that I'm the best in the world

There are people that indeed pays for signals just for their scalping in futures markets. But there are also tons of people out there that offers it for free and even with trading analysis, explanation, and a risk that one must consider. If you really are doing it for free, you must establish a good trading history first. But if you also have a paid that doesn't really insist others to take, then there must be discrepancies between your free signals compared to paid signals. Henceforth would lead you to tell them to avail it for a better signal.

If I were you, stick only to one offer. Choose between helping others and be popular with your Trading Signals  that are free, or work very hard just to gain money from knowledge that is already available on any online platforms.
184  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crypto.com charging more than their listed fees ... (SCAM??) on: April 01, 2021, 06:40:57 PM
I just used Crypto.com to transfer some BTC to my wallet .. their fee shown on the app is 0.0004 BTC to send to my wallet address. I charged 0.00115736 BTC as per shown in my Trezor account - 3 times the amount.  Not impressed.  Contacted Crypto.com but of course they did not reply.

If crypto.com doesn't let you choose the speed and cost of your transaction, then don't use it especially if you will transact multiple times. Also, there are a lot of ways
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for Developer. on: April 01, 2021, 04:54:40 PM
~

Maybe you could tease us a little and tell what coin would that be. Is it open-sourced back then or you owned it? If you owned it, it is not bad to tell the forum what coin are you talking about as it can even help the developers know if they would accept this offer or not, due to some devs will do their own research first and see if their capability would reach the revival of the dead coin you are mentioning.

8% is a high value, yet it doesn't really have any value if there would be no volume nor any circulating supply. I'd suggest you would recreate that coin onto a modern system and rebrand it. Investing on a previously dead coin is a bigger risk to take than investing on normal ones.
186  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Altcoins News, Exchange Listing, Upcoming Events etc. on: April 01, 2021, 04:05:59 PM

Why? Marami kasing whales ang bumibili sa other exchanges before listing sa mga huge exchanges, itatransfer nila sa exchange na paglilistahan like Binance, then magseset agad ng Sell Order sa malayong price. Madami din namang projects na malalaman mo palang sa total supply and market cap nya kung hanggang san lang posibleng itaas nito kaya ginagamit itong advantage to dump a coin.

Honestly, I would suggest others na makakabasa nito to buy coins just before listing on any major/big exchanges. If you really want profit, think like a whale. Pero kung medyo huli ka na at malaki na ang naiangat ng isang coin bago ka makabili sa kahit mga AMMs lang, then wait for the pull back pagkalist kung nais mo talagang mag invest.
187  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: AdCrypto.net - Marketing Partner For Crypto Business(Moderators Needed) on: April 01, 2021, 01:44:44 PM
There can be issues with your earning methods as having a low cap for the entire campaign would only lead greedy people to create more. There should be rules as well. But in fact, if a project like this that would implement the same forum and earn system as the others, it would be hard for starters to gain popularity with content that is way unique amongst the others. I've seen and tried tons of forums that lets users earn and non of them lasted long than this forum. Why? because of having a hard time getting quality posters that wouldnt create tons of alt.

Yes, there must be rules on that, for example, the signature campaign, only certain level of members can participate. Those new members are not allow to join the campaign. Another example, for Telegram group campaign, only a Telegram group with Min 50k followers can participate. Same go for Twitter or other social media.

Also, if the platform was created with PHP, how can you sure that this is entirely secured and cannot be hacked? I've seen an article recently that hackers manage to create backdoor on PHP repository - https://securityboulevard.com/2021/03/php-repository-exploited-by-hackers/
The platform is hosted in a secured hosting provider, for the early stage, it is only a shared hosting server, but i will try my best to secure the platform. When it have more sponsors, moderators and webmasters, i will migrate it to a cloud or VPS server. And i will add in more security feature like Recaptcha, two factor authentication Eg. Google Auth which using by many of the Exchange platform. My platform is not using any repository and there is no repository setup in the server right now. But to increase the security, i will add in feature like Withdraw Passcode so that it is more harder if someone hack your account and wants to withdraw your balance (except their hack your withdrawal Passcode too).

So this is just basically a fork and a rip off of this forum? If it would be, than what are the features and programs that you think were your advantage against this forum and other crypto forums, and things that you think aren't implemented on the existing forum? If you can't provide features that cannot be found on this forum or would just improve the looks, then you might find starting your platform difficult and close to not having enough users and investors to use your platform.

Withdraw passcode with what? SMS OTPs? Or you'll create a blockchain system for passcodee (which would be nice).
188  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: what do i need to learn to be a good blockcahin developer on: April 01, 2021, 12:31:57 PM
what programming languages and technical skills do I need to learn to build a blockchain? not a token
I have some ideas and want to learn how to deploy them, what do I need to learn and where to learn them?

IMHO, Start from the basic programming. Blockchain development requires users to atleast be fluent on algorithm, data structuring, and various programming syntax. Also, just being a good app developer or software engineer could lead you to path of blockchain development. Hence, there's no shortcut to being a Blockchain dev and paths that would lead you straight through it. You must learn from basics first and take mastery on general programming alone.

I do suggest you be fond of Python. Learn it from scratch then try creating simple projects that requires complicated data algorithm and structures.
189  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Exchange rates - crypto to fiat on: March 31, 2021, 08:52:30 PM
Hey. I sold for my first time some crypto a few hours ago. I was surprised to find out that by selling crypto  in a fiat currency I always lose some money. The homescreen of the app was showing that I have a certain amount of money but when I sold it was less by 10euro. Can someone explain why? Are there ways to avoid of? Also I live in the uk so I bought crypto in pounds. But when I want to exchange it back into fiat I  have to use. euros. And everytime you move money like this u loose some. Are there some ways to calculate these exchange rates?I would really appreciate if u jave some beginner tips.

There are so many times that I suggest this method to other users that wants to lessen the fees of transferring BTC, ETH, and other notable coins: Use XRP/EUR instead. If you hold BTC right now, trade your BTC onto XRP, then Trade XRP onto the fiat of your choice, then the withdrawal fees would still apply depending on what platform you use. This method only applies to lessening the fees of withdrawing with the use of BTC to your wallets, and fees would still vary depending on various factors such as your card provider etc. If ever that you have someone near you that can agree for a P2P exchange, then better use it. It would both lessen the fees and fasten the transaction.
190  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]: Fake and Phishing PancakeSwap website on: March 31, 2021, 08:25:57 PM
~

I remember the pancakeswap incident recently where they got DNS hijacked using DDoS attack and was replaced by a phishing site, prompting for seed phrase of user's wallets. This fake websites are common as PCS was just a fork and even some platforms does really looks like PCS. I wouldn't really be shocked when there would be more fake PCS websites that would arise soon, as the price of CAKE itself increases.

Also, AFAIK, there can be other ways that this kind of fake swaps can steal money like they can let people they are sending and swapping coins, yet they would only send it to a static address.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Tried futures trading for the first time on: March 31, 2021, 07:59:22 PM
Okay so I have decided to make some small risks by putting an amount that I can afford to lose in futures trading. Right now, I am choosing the ETH/USDT pairing and I declared it short 5x with 30% stop loss. Still learning the ropes of futures trading since I am not totally contented with just copy trading only. I did gained with copy trading, but I would like to learn how to self-gain it myself with my own decisions in futures trading.

I am not gonna close my trade yet until I’m finally into profit or it reaches the SL amount, coz’ right now it’s still at a loss. I would definitely try futures trading everyday than just spot trading, at least this could add up to my learning especially some TAs, etc.

Futures trading is a huge risk regardless if you set your stop-loss or not. There can be instances that with huge dump, your stop-loss wouldn't trigger, ending up consuming all of your margin. Also, bear in mind that waiting for a certain profit cannot always work, some can only go near those, yet as with the volatility and the huge players and whales plays with ETH/USDT pair, still a 40% chance bears might win. Lastly, I would suggest you try other coins than that for you to learn various markets and movements and not just predict a single coin.

193  Economy / Gambling / Re: WeedPunkz | NFT Trading Cards | NEW Website OUT! Enter to win a free NFT! on: March 31, 2021, 05:56:58 PM
I don't know if this is the right platform for you to advertise. You obviously have a specific market so why don't you target areas where the real thing is actually legal? You may get more interest from there. Why did you choose an ethereum platform by the way? Fees on that blockchain are insane. You could have chosen WAX.

The right place to advertise NFT cards is on Collectibles board - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=217.0

Also, ethereum platform is the main platform where the idea of NFTs was originated. Yes, fees are really huge and you might cost around 50 bucks just to upload an NFT, yet it is the only platform that supports that market system, as far as I know and can remember.

Lol! People are selling from crap to garbages in the name of NFT and it is a great tool for money laundering. I don't think I need to explain how NFT is helping in money laundering. But it is a crap basically! Makes no sense at all to common public.

How on earth a JPG file can cost 69 million!!! It's surprising to see even many new companies are joining this bandwagon. I guess everyone is just after some free money!

Guess you can never understand how some people sees art in their perspective. Your ideology points to direction where some art weren't appreciated. Yes, some can be trash and trying hard, yet if it is their way to make profit and live their life, why hate?

I like your NFTs mate. Keep it up! But remember to move this to the aforementioned board of course.
194  Economy / Services / Re: Need programmer for new idea on: March 31, 2021, 05:25:04 PM
I will be handling all marketing, the web design, hosting, and everything beyond the actual programmer, as that's my weakest skill. Just need someone talented to help.
A talented person is not the perfect description when you want to hire someone or help you finish a specific project.
What skills are you looking for and what kind of partnership would you like the person to do? Will you pay him or will it be paid by shares after the success of the project?
Unless your question is accurate, describing the problem and the time to solve it, along with a precise description of the project and how to obtain financing, you will not get any response from a serious developer.

+1 . Indeed. Also, there are various mastery to various programming language and approach. It is better to specify your project idea and what language you want it to be implemented. You can use any programming language for any projects, yet some can be better for certain languages. But still, specifying what project and program would you be making would help you find people you need, and if you are protecting the idea itself, an abstract is enough for some programmers to seek your offer.
195  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: $20K to invest in coins - Where to start? on: March 30, 2021, 09:35:22 PM
Hello there,

My friend is going all in with crypto world but he hasn't any clue about crypto world but with all the hype going right now it's not impossible to convince him that if you don't have enough experience and don't do enough research you cannot go into crypto world because the risk is just too high.

I am relatively new to the crypto world and I don't have the right expertise to suggest him where to start, I told him that people are focusing their investments on specific projects but didn't suggest him a specific one.

I made a thread here weeks ago and I was surprised with all the help I got so I figured out that this forum will be the ideal place for this question.

If you would have $20k to invest in crypto, what would you do?

I may have a unique starting question, but you should first Ask your friend first his financial stability. Why? 20kUSD is a huge huge amount and the volatility of the crypto market can make that 20kUSD be 15k, 10k, or even make it all lose. Also, it is never advisable for anyone to go all in in cyrpto. as much as possible, do a 50-30-20 or just 10-20-30-40 rule where you divide that money onto either savings, investments, personal need, personal wants, emergency funds, etc. After knowing that, he first accept that the money he will be using to invest is the money he can afford to lose. Again, the risks in crypto is too high, and knowing that you could lose it would give you enough confidence yet by expecting a negative outcome. Then lastly, what risk can he take? Can he afford to lose it all in a single coin? If not, then it is preferable to just use at least 100usd for a coin. While his money is invested on coins that he trusted, searched, and studied, he should now spend time understanding more and more about investment.s

Why do I suggest this? Some people can learn from experiences. Hence, starting already from doing investments could drive your more to learn and study it.
196  Economy / Gambling / Re: Very immoral marketing strategy. on: March 30, 2021, 08:42:14 PM

The argument they provide is as follow, ''we are entertainers/performers''. This need to be stopped. I am creating this thread to discuss such issues and to warn other new comers about the potential loss. If you have found such streamers please post here so that it can be helpful for new players to make realistic decisions.

This is some upright and bold argument. Yet, have you even wondered why gambling alone is already a risk of losing your money and not just a "potential" loss? Every gambler and even new comers are warned that gambling itself is risky, regardless of how people would promote certain gambling websites and how they "fake" their actions and reviews for a platform. Also, the only immoral marketing strategy in here is faking the number of bets, in which can easily be found by a lot of gamblers in here once they've bumped right onto one.

I know some of my friends that gamble huge money and it is really common that the longer you spend betting and the more you bet the higher the chance to win huge and might return your initial capital back. It is common to all, yet how can it be wrong to streaming players?

being really close to crypto space and sale activities would really make you a scam hunter. I've also visited this website just after I heard that SFP is making another giveaways yet I already knew just by the link that it is a mere fraudulent. Also, there are tons of projects that will have sales in april may june that were legitimate then there were some greedy people that even created and populated a telegram group for a "exclusive sale" with a website indicated. Soon if I wouldn't be busy I might create a thread of all suspicious projects and groups i find in telegram. good job btw!
198  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: price action trading on: March 30, 2021, 07:22:32 PM

As a new trader I have been exposed to several knowledge about how to study and analyze market present and future trends but am only asking for clearity. Does market obey all this rules laid down by trading experts to help time their entries or could this be an advanced gambling that has a prepared strategy which is not 100% guarantee for profit taking?

I know many people who understand how the market works make profit from their predictions but I still want to understand if it was by chance or does the market really obey price action and is it truly the best strategy in timing entries.

Price action is just a very little part of Technical analysis and is never a reliable way to really predict what would happen in the market either in short term or in long period of time. Price action can be used as a basis of basic wave patterns, resistances and supports, and the trend of a market. Hence, the guarantee of the real outcome would still rely on various factors like numbers of whales and players, being overbought or oversold, exponential moving average, etc.

200  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have a few beginner questions regarding crypto trading on: March 30, 2021, 06:26:51 PM
1. I'm currently using coinbase as my main crypto exchange. But I keep hearing from a lot of people who have been trading/mining crypto for years say that they don't use coinbase anymore. Why is that? Also what exchange is the most popular to use right now? Is it still Coinbase?

Coinbase already had a lot of issues and still having some from time to time, mainly with their transactions and system failures. Also, it is centralized, hence once the company behind Coinbase had been hacked or had an issue, all of your funds are prone to risks of losing. You can check popular exchanges in coinmarketcap and look for what UI/UX fits your trading preferences as most might suggest platforms that wouldn't suit your liking.

2. Is it normal to make several purchases on coinbase (using your checking account) as in purchasing portions of several different types of crypto, for those transactions to be pending for a little while before your available balance reflects the amount that you actually purchased? How long does the pending phase usually take on coinbase, if your checking account is in the United States?

No one really is fond now in using coinbase as there are many wallets and exchanges that are preferrable than it. If you would still push the use of it, you might encounter the same issue as the others had.

3. I've heard mentions in forums and youtube that people who trade prefer to store their crypto in wallets outside of an exchange for security reasons. If I'm understanding that right, that instead of storing their crypto in wallets that you can make on your coinbase account, they store it in a paper wallet or something. Am I understanding that right? And if so, what security risk am I taking by storying the crypto that I've invested in, in wallets that I created in my coinbase account?

As mentioned above, Coinbase is centralized and prone to dozens of risks. Most users use Hardware wallets or decentralized wallets such as Trustwallet.

Please spend time studying wallets and its differences, before you go to exchanges and trading. Knowing less in just wallets alone can even add a risk of making you lose your funds as many wallets doesn't support other network systems.
