Doubtful, because that stops your computer from doing almost anything.
Okay, I have updated my wallet to v2.1.4.0 earlier and fortunately, I don't encounter any sync issues.

I'll follow your instruction in staking, but how will I stop and start staking again properly? Cheesy
1082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 【LAUNCHED】【BTC2】Bitcoin 2, BTC Fork 1:1, PoS 🔥 Zerocoin, Anonymous ⚡️Instant TX on: November 09, 2018, 02:46:53 AM
How to stake Bitcoin 2

Option 1) Just click New Address at https://bitc2.org/web-wallet/, store the private key so that you can login again and send BTC2 to the public address displayed there. That's it.

Option 2) Download and install one of the Bitcoin 2 Core wallets and launch it. Click Receive, then click Request payment and copy the address. Then send BTC2 there and keep the app running.

Currently already confirmed upcoming new exchange listings: Bisq and Altmarkets.
I think I might go for Option 2 to get the full staking rewards.

Will it work if I let the app running on my sleeping computer?

Question: Is there a step by step on how to stake Bitcoin 2? Can you please enlighten me about the process, I am a little bit confused.

Anyways, congratulations to the team for having a great job in following their roadmap. Cheers Cheesy

Also, are there other upcoming exchange?
1084  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there a required amount before you start trading? on: November 08, 2018, 02:53:33 PM
I think that it is meaningless to start with amount less than 1 ETH, you probably won't be able to get something with smaller bank.
Indeed, I would rather hold that 1 ETH unless you have a deep understanding in trading. Also there is a high possibility of making a higher return if you are holding it.

As of OP's question, you can start small for about $500 dollars to get some large, mid small caps of crypto in your portfolios, it will also cover your exchange fees when you are depositing money in an exchange. Wink
1085  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to increase my holdings/Tokens? on: November 07, 2018, 03:45:30 PM
Doing nothing and sitting in the couch like a potato is better than selling your bounty token without considering the factors whether it will move up or down. If you kept on doing this practice, you will never increase the value of portfolio.

Try to observe the token you are holding first and if you think that it can go higher hold it for some time and then sell if you have reached your ideal price, then buyback again when it dips.

Do not just sell, try to think of a working strategy, change of plans can be good sometimes Grin
1086  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you start trading? on: November 07, 2018, 03:00:39 PM
Actually reading a lot of articles, books, ebooks can somehow give you an idea about what the trading is, but it doesn't teach you in an actual manner, and this was happenned to me, there are some learning in the books that you need to apply in the actualy trading, and that is the most difficult part. However, if you keep practicing, learning and playing your own money in the trading, you can be good trader in no time.

By the way, after reading a lot of cryptocurrency trading tips, I started from a scratch like airdrop just to learn the basics and then I have invested my own money for some serious trading stuff. Cheesy
1087  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I still get wealthy through Bitcoin? on: November 07, 2018, 02:01:18 PM
It depends on how you will establish you plans in entering the cryptospace. The first thing you need to consider to become wealthy is how much you could take some risks?, Are you knowleageable enough to understand the pros and cons of blockchain itself?, Do you have a well planned goals in investing or trading crypto?, Are you brave enough to put some money coming from your pocket in cryptospace?

It depends on how you will approach, you will need lots of discipline and dedication to enter and become one of the early millionaires in cryptocurrency.
1088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How altcoins change your life? on: November 06, 2018, 06:42:29 AM
Since I am not a type of being a large investor in cryptocurrency, I prefer investing in some of the promising altcoins particularly in ETH. I cannot afford to invest a big chunk of bitcoin that is why I am turning into ETH (from $1400 to $200) is a very big oppurtunity for me to enter the market.

I have also earned few altcoins because of airdrop and bounties in which I get some decent amount of money.
1089  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: PAANO MALAMAN KONG SCAM O HINDI ANG ISANG PROYEKTO SA MUNDO NG CRYPTO CURRENCY? on: November 06, 2018, 06:27:08 AM
Also, take a look at this thread made by coolcryptovator.
This will you some insights about some factors investigate to know if the project or an ico is a potential scam. Since of the bounties that are launched today are mostly scam. Use this at your own risk, this will just serve as your reference in finding good ICO's

For OP
Okay naman yung content mo, but please please specify mo pa yung mga dapat pang malaman since common na yung indicators like whitepaper and the team behind the project.
1090  Local / Pilipinas / Re: HUWAG MONG SAYANGIN ANG TIME MO NA DI KA MATUTO DITO SA BITCOINTALK ng Bitcoin on: November 06, 2018, 04:06:14 AM
Wow, this gives me a lot of motivation in the cryptospace. I am only a Senior High School student striving for a success in cryptoworld. Hindi ko akalain na talagang malaki ang naitutulong ng forum na to' sa mga users dito. For now bounties is the only way for me to have a large capital in establishing mining rigs, kasama na dito yung pag sharpen ng knowledge about crypto thru reading. This really inspires me a lot. I hope na makapagbigay ka ng mga guide in understanding mining more deeply.

Congratulation kabayan, you are awesome.
1091  Local / Pamilihan / [Suggestions] Selling Artwork (collectibles) on: November 05, 2018, 03:26:11 PM
Good Day Everyone,

I just want to ask if anyone of you has an experience in selling some stuff in the marketplace probably those people who got into the auction?

Mayroon bang proper sa pag- sell ng collectible or any other personal crafts sa marketplace?

How will I escrow the payment?

And how can I transfer it if the person who wants to buy the crafts is in the other country?
1092  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Twiiter Suspending Accounts on: November 05, 2018, 02:38:55 PM
It seems that I am not the one who is experiencing this twitter issue. 1/4 ng followers ko bumaba, and surprisingly each day laging nagde-decrease yung following at followers count ko.

Suggestion ko lang na iwasan yung rapid retweets and tweets, at maglagay ng in between time para makapag retweet ulit. Probably kahit mga 5 minutes.

Kung gusto niyo naman magparami ulit ng followers, mag follow kayo ng mga crypto related account tapos magpost kayo ng mga crypto related quotes, optional din ang paggawa ng memes about cypto, dalasan niyo lang yung paggawa and of cource put some humour para maka attract ng possible real twitter followers.
1093  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too many exchanges? on: November 04, 2018, 02:03:23 AM
I think that the biggest problem with crypto today is not exchanges but crazy number of wortheless altcoins and dying projects, that affects situation the most.
Nope, finding a good exchange is still one of the problems faced by many investors or traders globally. They need to find an exchange which has a vey good liquidity and security for their trading habits. I have also noticed that there are lots of ICO which focuses mainly in having a centralized cryptocurrency exhange.

I wonder how these ICO can surpass the top  crypto exchanges worldwide.
1094  Economy / Economics / Re: Speculation or global welfare? on: November 04, 2018, 12:49:25 AM
In the meantime, the hype for bitcoin as a speculative asset isn't waning, so in the short-term we'll see it mainly as an investment vehicle and not an actual tool for liberating the woes of the financially oppressed people. Perhaps it will never alleviate the weight of poverty to these people, but it can still help redistribute wealth in some other ways.
Well, people who are financially oppressed will stay the same if they still do not realize the importance of this newlyfound technology. I have seen a lot of people who does not care about the technology especially the crypto space and the blockchain technology.

What will happen to these people if those big guys/ investors, company are now taking part in the economy alonside with blockchain technoloy. The people who are lazy to educate themselves will be the biggest loser.
1095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why not make the most of your time with other tokens? on: November 04, 2018, 12:25:59 AM
Simply because lots of altcoins out there can sometimes be manipulated which can lead to a pump and dump scheme. Small investors will be the biggest loser in the end if they did not catch up in the manipulated market.
1096  Economy / Speculation / Re: A Saving Plan on: November 03, 2018, 01:56:56 PM
Wow, this is a great read and I am very sure that you are a very knowleageable about bitcoin. Continue doing the good work and I am surprised that you have a well out plan in cryptospace.

I have read a thread created by LoyceV, where it says that the bitcoin is somehow being manipulated by a group of whales that is why it stays in the price range of $6k-7k. For some investors this price range is still the best time for buying. You are well informed mate Smiley keep reading and updating yourself in crypto space.
1097  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading Basics : How to trade cryptocurrencies on: November 03, 2018, 12:44:07 PM
Thanks for sharing the link. I think that the article doesn't tell many new things, but it makes sense and might be very useful for novices. It's also sweet that it's free, since I came by various trading online courses but all of them cost money. It would be nice there weren't only articles, but some exercises, tests and videos as well, but it's still better than nothing. At the same time, I think they should've made a disclaimer about many people losing their money when trying to trade, so it's not like when you obtain other professions. The also didn't provide the basic rule of NEVER trading more than one affords to lose.
Well, why not try Youtube as one of your main resources in cryptocurrrency trading if you are looking for edcuational video lessons. I mean there are lots of channel there for you to find, it will not also cost you too much money.

Those learnings you can get in paid online courses can also be found throughout the internet. Engaging in an actual trading will help you a lot.

1099  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm A Professional Trader, Here's My Strategy on: November 02, 2018, 02:05:15 PM
OMG! I thought I would never ever find some good read here. I see a lot shitposts, questions that has been repeatedly asked, as well as repeated answers in the thread. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I am still at a grasping stage of learning and doing crypto trades, this will help me a lot especially for the newbies out there.

I am expecting some more. lol. Unfortunately, I want to give some token of appreciatin but currently I don't have one. Sad
1100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum 2.0 on: November 02, 2018, 01:47:18 PM
Due to the upcoming upgrade of Ethereum, I was forced to buy ETH and luckily I am able to buy below $200. It looks like I am catching up in the boat.

Well, Vitalik's decision in upgrading ETH will surely hype people and maybe this could be the cause of another bullrun.
