1001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready to invest now? on: April 20, 2019, 10:18:01 PM
Only inexperienced crypto investors would actually invest when they see that the crypto marekt is rising. Ideally it is best to invest when the prices are low so that when the price increase you can make some profits. I know right now most people are running to buy Binance Coin because they have seen the increase in that coin. Well i purchased some of them when it was around $6. That point when many people thought it was going to die lol. Change your trend of investment people.
1002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hardworking pays not luck on: April 20, 2019, 06:20:03 AM
I wished my little boy all the best in his exams and bent slowly towards his head and told him "Son, aside all things hardwork really pays". Well with bounties i think some bounty managers are not fair with their rules and some even get to favour some participants in the campaign. If you don't trust the bounty manager don't waste your time just stay away from his campaign.
1003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC defeats the purpose of Crypto. Thoughts anyone? on: April 20, 2019, 06:16:45 AM
Well if not for the greed and bad thoughts of men there are would have not been any need of KYC but because there are so many cheaters and scams floating around we can help it but to let go of a very nice feature of blockchain technology and that is anonymity Sad
1004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you guys read daily crypto news? on: April 20, 2019, 06:13:59 AM
Sure, how do you want to leave in the crypto industry without getting informed but make sure you get your facts from credible sources like Cointelegraph, Codesk and other popular websites. Some websites spread FUD in the cryptospace and i would advise you stay away from such sites.
1005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should there be a time limit for coin swap? on: April 17, 2019, 01:59:11 PM
There should be indeed a time schedule for a coin swap because the team of the project needs to focus and move things ahead but i also want to speak on the side of the investors of the project that they should be given enough time to do this swap. One month is too small  i think first there should be news about this swap 2 months before the time and at least a maximum of 3 months should be given for this swap to take place. Definitely some folks would still miss the swap with this wide range and that would be their own problem because staying in touch with your investment is also the responsibility of the investor.
1006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Should I Expect The Next Bull Run? on: April 17, 2019, 01:52:42 PM
The bull run of bitcoin is likely not to happen even in this year even though we have already started seeing some correction in the crypto market but i don't think we are poised for a bull run at the moment. The bull run would definitely happen someday hopefully but i doubt it would happen within this year but whatever be the case just make sure you hold some bitcoins at any point in time because you don't know when this lift of the market is coming.
1007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why there is so much fuss about decentralized exchanges on: April 16, 2019, 09:09:49 AM
I think the reason why people are anxious of the development of decentralized exchanges is the ability of people being in control of their own private keys. For instance in case where a decentralized exchange is hacked and i have logged out of the platform my wallet would not be hacked but with centralized exchanges once the platform is hacked anybody who has any funds on their platform also loses money unless the thieves decide to go for BTC and leave the altcoins.
1008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What coin should I 'mine' with my laptops? on: April 16, 2019, 08:59:24 AM
Mining with laptops was way back in in 2009 when the cryptocurrencies was first introduced into the world and there were not many enough miners. At this point in time mining with a laptop would not earn you anything and you would rather incur loss due to the constant use of electricity.

I would encourage you to run nodes or better still join a mining pool but becareful you don't get scammed because there are a number of mining pool that do not payout as promised.
1009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Locking Bounty Rewards To Avoid Dumping on: April 13, 2019, 07:04:55 AM
Locking bounty rewards does not solve the situation of dumping of cryptocurrencies as investors also can dump the token if they don't get to trust in the delivery of the team. Or if there is no product driving the value of the token from time to time it will surely dump.
1010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STO vs ICO - FIGHT! on: April 13, 2019, 06:58:40 AM
Choosing between a Security Token Offering and and Initial Coin Offering depends solely on the investor. In the layman terms if you are looking to invest into something very formidable and solid in the long term run then STOs are for you. But if you are looking to make some profits real quick then you can invest into ICOs. Careful you don't get scammed out of the numerous ones out there even though there are still some eligible ones in the cryptospce.
1011  Economy / Economics / Re: The market starts looking real nice in Q2, 2019 on: April 11, 2019, 08:10:26 AM
Well there had been predictions made my some experienced crypto analysts about the rise of the marketcap in the second quarter of this year but i think this has already started in the latter part of the first quarter. With this trend then i am sure we are poised for further increase in the marketcap.
1012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BEWARE OF IEO on: April 11, 2019, 08:02:23 AM
When i saw the hype of IEOs being spread through this community i knew this was a dangerous thread to walk on as a crypto investor. Most of the IEOs that have been conducted don't have any potential use case but the usual pump and dump scenario. I would rather invest in a project that has a working product that these recent IEOs that are being run in the forum.
1013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about a Bitcoin government ? on: April 11, 2019, 06:45:41 AM
The cryptospace does not need any government to rule over Bitcoin. Consider all the dictating that are being meted out to us by most governments with the use of fiat currency. Do you think we want to be in such situation all over again? Well they can decide never to legalize bitcoin globally, the cryptospace would still use it for their transactions and i think that alone is enough to get us going other than putting the authority back in the hands of the government again.
1014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we still experiencing the bearish market? on: April 10, 2019, 04:59:21 AM
We are still in the bear market even though we had a little rise in the marketcap which has seen Bitcoin cross the $5k landmark. Hopefull this bear market can be over and we see bitcoin reach an all time high again.
1015  Economy / Economics / Re: Know Your Customer on: April 09, 2019, 10:18:26 AM
oh come on $3000 is not a huge money to make any fuss about or even be concerned that much to perform KYC details and all of that. Most exchanges that i know even don't require KYC until you are making withdrawals exceeding 5BTC. KYC could be compulsory for making fiat transactions but i don't think it is very necessary in crypto transactions just worth $3000.
1016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you borrow in cryptocurrency? on: April 09, 2019, 10:08:14 AM
Borrowing in cryptocurrencies is not a bad idea but some strict terms of agreement should be written down because of the highly volatile market. For instance if you borrow 0.1BTC worth now about $520 but let's say BTC increases to about $10000 are you going to pay the same amount of $520 worth of BTC or exactly 0.1BTC. Don't forget you don't know when exactly your lender purchase that amount of BTC, it could be during it's all time high.

These are some of the little reasons i advocate that a clear rules should be stated before going ahead with this transaction.
1017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why there is so much fuss about decentralized exchanges on: April 09, 2019, 10:01:05 AM
All the hype being created about Decentralized Exchanges is because of how swift and easy it is to use and make transactions over there. Well in terms of security i think DEXs are quite safer than centralized exchanges. Compare the number of centralized exchanges that have been hacked to DEXs and you would realized the number of Centralized ones far out weighs that of the DEXs.

Anyway we still need DEXs that are absolutely secured and i think SwiftDex.ai is one of the promising decentralized exchanges to look at.
1018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Cardano Replace Bitcoin in 10 Years? on: April 08, 2019, 07:39:59 PM
Never, even in a billion years mate...What ever price value you wish to see Cardano have in the future depends on the rise of BTC. Not even Ethereum has gotten close to overtaking Bitcoin how much more Cardano lol...Anyway opinions are like noses but with mine, BTC is the king of the crypto market!
1019  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best Cryptocurrency to Invest? on: April 08, 2019, 07:35:03 PM
First of all i am not all technical when it comes to cryptocurrency trad and all its pumps and dumps but on the layman point of view i would always advise that you invest into cryptocurrencies with large marketcap because those have investors coming in every now and then.
1020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How is ETH now? on: April 08, 2019, 07:26:09 PM
The price of Ethereum is doing very well on the crypto market whiles it is advancing towards the $200 mark. I am glad i have been holding my Ethereum for quite a while now. I am still holding till it hits $500 then i can start selling some tinny bits of it lol.
