An important match for both the teams as they both have not been defeated  yet in the tournament. Today one of them will get defeated and the other would remain undefeated. India. Will be playing without Hardik Pandya as he got injured in the last match. Either SKY or Kishan should be part of the playing 11 today. I just checked the betting odds and India has a slight edge in the odds against New Zealand. Overall I am expecting a close match today as we haven't witnessed one in the tournament until now.

As it is now clear that Pandya won't be playing the next match a in the World Cup. I am certain about Shami but I am not sure about SKY. I still think Ishan would be given preference over SKY. In my opinion SKY is a T20 player than an ODI one. His ability to hit the ball all over the ground comes handy as a T20 batters. Whereas a Kishan has already played in the World Cup and is quite capable in a 50 over match. We can only speculate the final decision would be taken by the team management.

Yeah after one drop catch the bowlers lost all thier confidence that Warner scored 163 runs. Blaming the fielding doesn't look good when Pakistan has some of best bowlers in thier side. Just look at the bowling figures of Rauf and Afridi, they were hammered by both Warner and Marsh all over the stadium. Things have gone from bad to worst for Pakistan and it will reflect when they come to bat.

I am sorry to say this that this Pakistani side has zero idea how to stop the Australian batters. Good start by Bangladeshi batters as they have scored 107 runs so far for the loss of one wicket. Bad news coming out from the Indian dressing room. Hardik Pandya won't be able to field for the rest of the innings. Which means India is now short of one extra bowler. Who will bowl in place of Hardik in case another bowler gets hit, has to be decided by Rohit Sharma.

India is good at chasing and they would be happy to see Bangladesh winning the toss and choosing to bat first. Rohit Sharma will be relying on the Indian bowlers to restrict Bangladesh batters from getting a good target. Although the team that bats first in the Pune ground tends to score 300 plus runs. Indian bowlers so far have been effective on batter-friendly track it would be good to see them again performing in the same manner. Bangladesh's batting has been that good in the tournament, I am not expecting anything better from them against India.

I doubt there will be another upset today like yesterday. I was surprised that it started raining today. This rain might change the way the pitch has reacted to spin bowling. For now the pace bowlers can utilize the moisture to their benefit.

Srilanka doesn't have a good bowling attack. They do have couple of good spinners but they are not effective always. I still think Australia will make a comeback from this match. But first they need a small target to chase.
