1041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 19, 2023, 11:16:44 PM
In the end Lukaku was one of the players who made Chelsea lose 2 times in terms of transfers so they also didn't want to let him go that quickly which made them take the option of a loan to get his form back but this did not go well.
Lukaku and Juventus are still linked now and this is what makes Inter look for other alternatives (now Morata) to be their next target.
The problem in this case is that if Lukaku decides to go to a rival this will obviously spark new drama for Inter and Juventus and I expect this to happen because with transfers like this it will increase the intensity and tension in the end.

Lukaku was a bad investment for Chelsea but he is not responsible for Chelsea failure throughout last season, we know what Chelsea did and what affected them in the last concluded season because I can say that loaning Lukaku to Inter was a very good decisions for them with only $8M even when they couldn't win the Champions League, they made it far after a while of zigzag journey and not only that, they finished last season among the top teams in Seria A while Chelsea suffer in Premier League with all the goody players they had on the pipeline.

I don't know why Lukaku transfer is causing many speculations as if it was one of the best expect, I saw Mendy move to Ligue 1 team today and doesn't make reactions that much, I was just happy he is back on track on another journey after a wasteful years but it has always been this Lukaku this and that that without anything to show for Chelsea, he should go wherever he wants in peace.
1042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 19, 2023, 10:56:05 PM
Chelsea is going to hire a player like Maguire because of his huge personal mistakes and I think a player like Maguire is not really interesting for any team to spend huge money for him and 40m is a lot for this player, Chelsea had expensive players before and they didn't get food results that's why I think Chelsea can find a better player instead of Maguire.
It is still a rumor, we don't know how serious Chelsea to sign Maguire. I even think Chelsea current defenders are better than Maguire. Even if they are not strong enough but they don't score own goals at least.  Cheesy

Maguire has had enough and I think players do have a second chance to prove their worth, there could be some transition if he comes Chelsea to play because been a Captain in Manchester United is a big headache he has to . deal with every week and hence the reason why he is always confused in the field that got him playing own goals most of tbe time but who knows Chelsea will be a revival journey to Maguire to redeem his career, he has come far to become bench in Manchester United, there are other teams that would use him even if there is no Captain tag on his hand.

Quote
Harry Maguire is 30 years old, his market value is €20m. No team will spend €40m for Maguire, it is just nonsense to buy a player who has bad performance and he is no longer young defender. Moreover, €40m is overpriced since he is only valued €20m. I assume any club who is interested to sign him for below €10m.

What about player that had good performing year in their previous clubs but becomes worst when they change their club, we have seen it in the premier league many times and the team just get worse with the hype players, having Maguire will give the team less expectations from him and I believe he will want to step up his ways to impress any club that sign him.
1043  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as a newbie? on: July 16, 2023, 09:33:10 AM
stop those wrong steps of trading or will lost everything soon. Trading is so typical things in my opinion, better for Newbie to stay away from it. Trading needs concentration, focus, Complex calculation, patient as well as a lot of time for monitoring. you need to learn those before start up. I think trading is only suitable for them who are fully expert in this field. Less knowledge, incomplete ideas can destroy your whole career. until that you can invest some good altcoins for your profit

If you don't give it a try, you will never know what you don't know but first you must do it with proper management of funds, hence the reason why you always hear advance traders always advice the new traders to trade with risk management, they should not just jump and started trading by blindly following the trend. In addition to your claim, I don't think trading is a typical thing, if it is everyone will be doing it and there will be no one crying of loss and also telling newbie to stay away from it is very discouraging, its like telling them not to give it a try at all and if they don't they will never understand the market and how trading works.
1044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Return Of Terra Luna Classic on: July 16, 2023, 09:08:58 AM
I won't have much to say here but I understand is that they know about what they called "trust".
Trust is something that builds reliability, transparency and reputation but since they have soiled the this belief from users and those who entrusted their funds in hand of the project owner I doubt if this same project will gain back the previous popularity again since they had already tanished their images. Hence I will say anyone delving into this project is on its own risk to lose their investment.

The trust is broken but the fact that capital ventures all fell to it, scam wasn't the first impression but I learned that greed contributed to middle stage of Luna and later when Do Kwon started running made everything worse. The APY was insane and everyone knows that was an unrealistic profit but they all caught up in the hype and that was because they all made enough already from the bull run only to waste it on altcoin that was hype by everyone including the youtubers and infleucials and I guess even Binance fell the heat than any other investors.

Any investor that you see hanging around Terra is doing it for two reason, its either the person is trying to make back their losses they had on Luna or the person is trying to make people believe that it will go up mean while the person is trying to make profit from them, but the trust is gone, only the investors who lost money are still hanging around the corner.
1045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Verified twitter, telegram account is the strong point for a new project? on: July 16, 2023, 08:55:11 AM
My friend informed me that at this time many upcoming project social account like twitter, telegram is verified.
Does that mean these projects can be trusted?
In fact many are encouraged to invest in any new project following this.
What is your opinion on this matter?

Before Twitter changed their structural verification system, it was and it count when Twitter used to identify users base on their impression, legitimate activity and how active they are on the platform but all that changes when Elon took over the platform and changed it payment method, now all the verification don't need an indepth review before they verify account, even scammers have find a way to impersonate real accounts on Twitter and they are active on the platform doing wrong things to people, either verified twitter or not, just know that even legit project do rugg investors.

Telegram verified accounts, groups and channel are not so different from Twitter, it is the same process of been verified. All you need to do is to make payment and after review, it get verified, becareful of telegram groups but verified accounts is not a primary factor to used to verify legitimacy of project, you should DIOR more about the team and what they want to do about the project, that is the only way you can avoid been a scape goat to scammers.
1046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would you measure your success in Crypto currency on: July 15, 2023, 05:42:36 PM
Many said its absolutely a scam, pathetic and more. but crypto currency has favored to those who trusted on it, In terms of cross border payment, p2p and vice versa the domination of crypto is keep on increasing. In terms of investment people knew only Crude, stocks, bonds, stock market, gold etc...but this platform made a way ahead to make money harder and smarter, I know most of the government's are not favoring this but in upcoming years you will see the green signal for crypto as well.

Anyone that look crypto and see it as a scam was given the wrong direction, any innovation or creativity that is new to people one way or the other always attract scammers because they know that noobs will fall for their lies especially the users that have been there early, crypto is just one of them and many people I met before my journey to the forum all said good stuffs about the forum. The way people say things about cryptocurrency, you will understand that it has gave a way of living to people than the government and politicians has ever did in their democracy lies.

I have never understood crypto better if not for the forum and give credit to anyone that all share their material with me online to understand between centralization and decentralization, these two have more meaning to its been used, crypto remain the best innovation that has ever happen to the internet and I'm proud to be one of the pioneers who understand it and also share it with the public.
1047  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cz or the Sec who would you support? on: July 15, 2023, 05:20:24 PM
i still side with cz . if binance does exit crypto then crypto's largest market will be exhausted, and i believe it will affect the crypto community in at least a 30 to 50% drop in crypto volume will be lost. building binance also must have been a long struggle, but if it was that easy the SEC closed it I think financial freedom is indeed more complicated than before.
Binance exiting crypto is a big if to be honest and I don't think that they will easily fold against SEC, also I don't have any firm knowledge about this but isn't Binance an International company? Meaning that they can still operate outside US? I need clarifications on that. You don't need to worry to much about this though, I am sure that they won't be able to shut down Binance.
Wow, that was a tough one! And you agree with these charges? You're right that no company, crypto or otherwise, should be able to hide in the shadows, but don't the decentralised and anonymity of cryptocurrencies lend to their appeal? To me, the idea of a "internal kitchen" is a hilariously ironic twist. Don't get me wrong; I support laws and rules when they are necessary. Calling on a sector founded on secrecy to open up more is like asking a cat to talk. Remember that the point of cryptocurrency is to circumvent the banking system as we know it. However, the SEC's actions are predictable. Regulatory agencies carry out their mandates. It's inevitable that they'll start participating as the cryptocurrency industry expands. This is not to say that we should immediately side with the accused. It's more about striking a middle ground where both perspectives can live.

Not to be bias and take side, CZ and SEC both have a thing in common and is money hunting, while SEC may be doing his hunting from the bigger thief that happen to be CZ and Binance and CZ is stealing from the people he is always ranting he cared dearly for, if a thourogh investigation is done on Binance, there is no way he will be able to deny it that they are clean and transparent but because the SEC knew that going after them will hid to nothing because only a crypto person will understand that Binace will be good at cleaning evidence. However, SEC is doing behaving in a silly structure by labeling all the top altcoins as security which I see as way to crack down Binance and crypto companies. It is not making sense with the way SEC and XRp ended in the court and there reputation to the public will no longer be there.
1048  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic problem, why is fiat difficult to hold. on: July 15, 2023, 05:09:53 PM
El Salvador even has programs that will allow the best students to get jobs in prestigious companies after training, but what I like most about El Salvador is that the population has the opportunity to store their savings not in fiat but in bitcoin.

This is an advantage when you know that bitcoin is officially supported by the state, and the state contributes to the education of the population, those who wish it. So although Salvadorans can also keep their savings in the US dollar, which is also pretty good at dealing with inflation, but bitcoin can give something more, it can also be a great investment.

Many people may not see concern regarding El Salvador expansion of the country and the adoption of Bitcoin, I love the progress he is having with the people coperation and the adoption of Bitcoin but I have been thinking what will happen to his legacy when he no longer the acting President of El Salvador, election is fast approaching by next which will be by 2024 and some party that don't like him have become anti Bitcoin, using that strategy and games to manipulate people on how Bitcoin is been force as a legal tender instead of been voluntary; that been said.

For now, Elsavador can only contribute only little to their welfare, the investment has been a negative PNL since they resume buying in December, but they will be even when BTC return around $40k but they wouldn't have anything as profit until they wait for $50k and $60k and I don't think they have plan to sell at these minor prices. Before El Salvador will earn from their investment, it will take a lot of time.
1049  Economy / Economics / Re: How Long in Years Should I Wait Before I Close Down an Unprofitable Business on: July 15, 2023, 04:52:36 PM
I guess even 3 years is already long enough. Once I’ve never seen the positive impact of my business and it never shown any sign of progress in just a year or two, then leaving it could be the best thing to do than to prolong my business while there is no sufficient amount of income that is getting in. Otherwise, I might be triggered to take loans and might end up regretting.

A business need to be check before launching it, the factors and the enviroment if it is going to succeed in that enviroment or not, how will a business be alive for 3 years without a profit, its like one is running a business and with loss and still paying for the loss because you will have to pay for the rent, the electricity bill, and taxes, whether you are making profit or not, it is a must and it must have to be paid.
What I think any business person should when a business is not profitable after a proper business plan should make some changes after six month and if there is no any changes after another six month, then I think the owner need to dismantle the business and face the next way out, at most 2 years is enough to finalize the decision of the business profitability.
1050  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: your opinion about the current fees on: July 15, 2023, 04:34:58 PM
Hello , we're  all seeing the rising fees when it comes for crypto payment , as an example : "buysellvouchers" got it's fees from 0.4% to 0.5% when buying , and if we include the network fees too, it starts to add up , so i'm here to ask about your opinion on the best crypto to use to get less fees and be optimal , is it bitcoin ? LTC, or simply usdt ? especially when trading big amounts ( i'm pointing the treatment speed and value ), thanks for your replies.

I didn't quite understood what you mean by buysellvouchers until I did some google search and found it is centralized exchange that is based on USDT, gift cards, Bitcoin and other popular altcoins in the market but you should know that any centralized exchanges can increase their fees without other exchanges increasing their own and from their, it is very simple to choose the one you like and the ones you think have been milking your money because you choose to use them.

There could also be another reason why you maybe using this particular exchange but if it is because of p2p and local banking, Binance is cheaper and have less trading fees and also offer a 25% discount on when you hold their BNB, and I think the P2P is not limited to Binance alone, Kucoin has the same features and they are quite moderate to used with their fees as a regular trader, no deposit fee is require or any other charges but you should know that transaction fees are cover by you since you are the sender moving it from a wallet to an exchange.
1051  Other / Archival / Re: [GUIDE] Who are Professional Traders? on: July 14, 2023, 09:26:07 PM
Great guide, but I have one question.
What's the point of you posting this guide on the forum?
What's the benefit for the newbies,if they learn about the difference between retail and professional traders?
Trading is just trading.I know that the professional traders make less mistakes and have better risk management, but who cares. At the end of the day, almost 100% of all cryptocurrency traders are amateurs.
I have never seen a professional cryptocurrency trader, who is trading with other people's money.
The people, who claim that they are professional crypto traders and provide such services are 100% scammers.

You seem more like a person who is attacking a fellow person than sharing your opinion, the forum is simple to understand and that is why we are all here, easy to learn and there are some people that love reading some writting that has been summarize for easy understanding. If you give another person to write this guide, it may look different and learning it might even be difficult to understand but I will admit that I like this one.

Secondly, because you think something is the same will be different from another person opinion even when you are the right person, don't generalize and say trading is trading, they are different and this is just one of it that OP has explained but you are right about professional traders been scammers, we really do have them just that they are few in numbers and scammers used them as bait to scam people of the their money.
1052  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I understand Bitcoin charts? on: July 14, 2023, 07:51:08 PM
Good day, esteem members of this prestigious forum, please do not find this question unnecessary, I need experienced investors who knows that understanding charts is part of investment strategy and means to maximize profit,  enlighten us on bitcoin charts. If there is any thread explaining chart, please kindly drop their link.

I know there are different types of charts, you can Explain the chart you know in it's simplest form.

The two basic chart view that you can understand is the line chart and the candle chart but for the sake of other trading lessons, I will advice you to use the candle chart. With candle chart, you can switch between trading timeframes and still understand what is happening and the price action, to draw your support line and the resistant line can be visible in different prefered time intervals and the candles can easily tell you what is happening in the candle, like when people are selling and the sign that the market will go upward or downward and it is even easier to use with the indicators between the chart and as well as beneath the chat.

If you can further learn about trading candles, trading chart or rather Bitcoin chart will be easy for you to understand like the hammer, the doji, shooting star and so on, there are many of them to learn, go through google and you will get link to website to learn this thing. I will have love to give you some thread in the forum but the images are currupted because of the Imgur error.
1053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 14, 2023, 07:30:38 PM
Liverpool experienced a decline in form because Mane left, as well as when Ronaldo left Manchester United to join Real Madrid.
Good players will definitely be missed by their erstwhile club, but if the team is made up of quality players, their absence will not be felt that much or for a long period of time. Liverpool didn't have a bad season because of Sadio Mane's exit, they had a terrible season because most of their players were in horrendous form and the manager wasn't able to bring the best out of them. I think clubs should always allow their players leave if they say they want to, a football club should not be built around a few players but the entire team.

Is Mane an exceptional player, yes! Did Liverpool miss him, yes! Did liverpook fell off because of him, no but the absence was felt. We can't denied the fact that Mane played an important role in Liverpool forward last season, he was the best thing that happen to Klopp ever since he came into that club but then as you said, the rest of the players were in zombie mode as if they weren't doing anything at all but I doubt if Mane remains in Liverpool, the situation would have been better, no player that was signed could do the combined assist and goals he scored in a season was done by any of them, not even the old ones like Firminno nor Jota did what he did in his last season in Liverpool.
1054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: July 14, 2023, 07:14:04 PM
Whether there are injury problems or not Arsenal is expected to perform excellently well in next season's Champions League and as well as English Premier League  Injury is part of the team and every good coach should at least plan for injury. It is an unforeseen circumstance that happened to every team.
Among the English Premier League clubs that went for the Champions League. I am very confident that Manchester City and Manchester United with Arsenal will do very well. But I am not sure of Newcastle because it is their first appearance for almost two decades.

One thing you don't understand is that two decades ago is not the same as now, and the squads from two decades ago are not the same as the present ones. We can draw assumptions and predictions based on their recent performances prior to the end of the previous season.

Newcastle's players are currently outperforming some of the top clubs in another domestic league competition. If we compare and contrast, you'll agree with me that even if Newcastle United doesn't advance far in the Champions League, I'm confident they'll reach the knockout stage.

Arsenal are also good, and I don't expect anything less from them despite their inability to qualify for the Champions League for quite some time now.

Assumptions should be made with fact and that is what some people don't understand, a lot people has downgrade Arsenal because of their coming back to the Champions League but they don't understand that anyone can build a good team and challenge the rest and that was what Arsenal did and was able to show face again in the Champions League since 2016/17 season but look at my Arsenal, we will be coming to disrupt the Champions League ones just the way we did back in the Premier league.

However, I think it is too soon to give accolades to Newcastle that they will make it to knockout stage, this depends on who they are pair in the group stage. I can't imagine how they will struggle if they are contained in the same group stage with Manchester United, Manchester United and Barcelona, I'm just saying you know as anything can happened in the group stage.
1055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 14, 2023, 07:03:41 PM
As I understand it, Kane does not sign a contract extension even after he was offered top conditions (at the level of Haaland), so Tottenham risks simply losing him in a year without any compensation. As for the statistics, I don't think they matter to him - for example, Lewandowski left Bayern even though he had chances to surpass Müller and that would have been epic. After such a long career, the number of records and various statistical achievements is such that they mean almost nothing.

Yeah, Kane doesn't seem keen on extending his contract no matter what. This is going to be his last year at Tottenham so are they really ready to lose him for free? Because I don't believe that Tottenham would be okay with losing him like that while they can get a really good amount of money for his transfer fee. They need to let him go by easing things for Bayern Munich a little more.

Bayern Munich offered €80m with add-ons the last as far as I know. Levy shouldn't resist for getting at least €100m. I think they can find a middle way at around €90m. Levy must be aware of the serious situation that they will lose him for free certainly.

Tottenham don't need to depend on Kane. They can sign an average level but good scorer also. It is all about improving their team effort be more successful at the end of the day.

There is not a need for Kane to extend his contract in Tottenham, he is still young and vibrant that has energy to play along side other teams that can assure his journey to win any cup and trophies but he has been the one that has been putting Tottenham on the map of leagues and at end of the day, they don't achieve much. Its better he remain a free agent without a remote control, he should decide and move to a new club that want him, the new contract of $400k they are offering him may be a trap.

I think Bayern Munich offer is not bad at all, and been signed for $80m offer is not a bad deal, sometimes he just have to settle down for what is available because that is the only club that has been pushing to sign him and always open to discussion, I believe that if Bayern Munich is an English club, he would by now abandoned Tottenham.
1056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: July 13, 2023, 10:18:30 PM
Arsenal have been heavily criticized over the past few seasons, but Arteta is slowly showing and seems to be saying that he just needs a process that will improve the team's performance. I really understand that because indeed if a club wants to create a good team framework then the process will be long and maybe in the process it will be a lot of disappointment because it doesn't match expectations.
Last season he was able to display a neat game, even he could have led Arsenal to become Premier League champions if only they had not lost stability towards the end of the season.
Next season he should be able to work even better, because in the transfer market he brought in several players who could make a difference to their game even better.
Slowly but surely Arsenal found something that was missing from them a few years ago.

They are critized and I know why because I'm a fan with Arsenal I shall no matter what the bad mouth thing they say about Arsenal, we remain gunners for life. We are here already in the Champions League many have said we will never come, Arsenal will be coming this coming season with Declan Rice and other good team members that we had already to win the Champions League. I know haters gonna hate but that is the truth.

Arteta was able to change Arsenal performance because he is also experience because he had played for Arsenal and has also worked with Pep Guardiola years back, he had gotten the experience he needed to reform the team and last season was only the beginning, this season will be different as we going to maintain the Alphabetical order as they are before the season begins, A for Arsenal remain gallantly.
1057  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 13, 2023, 10:01:21 PM
A pretty good debut for Mount. The 2-0 win certainly made Man United happy because many young players were displayed by Ten Hag. Although Mount didn't score, he played pretty well. Although he only played 45 minutes, he was able to immediately adapt to Man United's style of play. Although Leeds is not a strong team, but Man United at least have the opportunity to try some young players. This result does not illustrate the strength of Man United, they still do not play in full team condition.
It is pre season match and Man United didn't play against a big team. So, we can understand if Ten Hag gave more opportunities for young players. Man United doesn't need to force their main squad to play. However, I was still surprised that Varane and Martinez became the starters. Leeds United didn't put their main squad, too. I think it is better to put Maguire and Lindelof as the starters.  Grin

Regarding Mount, it was enough for him to play 45 minutes. Sure, he played quite well although he didn't contribute significantly for Man United. He needs more time to adapt with Man United tactics and the characteristics of all players.

It is called friendly match because it is meant to be friendly between players and as such, aggressiveness and try so hard wouldn't matter to players, I don't think the friendly match mean something to rate the team or individual efforts and performance, it's just a regular match that if you observed, almost all the players were substituted so that many of them could have chance to display their presence in the match. Until the beginning of the season before we can something valuable about the players and their potential and that's how we are going to know if the amount are well spent on this young players.

Can you explain me why i need to learned gambling?

Simply put, here only millions of money are managed by asset owners, so where i have no money. In fact, i have ideas about gambling, but I don't have the ability to spend money there.

It's all about mindset and perspectives, when you want to carried out an activity, you put your mind and soul into it else you may not even complete it when you start it, that is how gambling works, it is not different from that because to gamble, your mind must be made up and when you make your first trial and second trial and you win something substantial, you will be encourage to come back for more and there is this fun aspect of gambling that comes with it, it becomes more fun when you keep winning and becomes emotional when you lose, that is how gambling works, it is exciting when you win and sad face when you loose but using the money you can't afford to lose will make you forget quicker than you think.

Sadio Mane's market value dropped by 45 million euros in a season since he joined Bayern Munich. I think this was really a big mistake in his career. We were watching Mane - Salah duo doing amazing things at Liverpool. Mane was one of the most crucial players for the team. He wanted a new adventure but this hasn't been going on well for now.

He made a mistake but not a mistake for making good decision on moving from Liverpool to Bayern, he made his choices and select Bayern Munich because the pay was good, the mistake I think he made was punching a fellow player which Bayern see as a lack of discipline and they decide to humble him but I think this is unacceptable and not friendly to drop someone career in the name of punishment, he apologized to the player he punched and was also suspended for a match, the punishment is enough to correct his mistake next time.

Quote
Tuchel also didn't give him many chances in the matches he managed Bayern Munich. Mane is also not very satisfied with his situation at the team now and he is an unwanted man on one hand.

I wonder how this will end for Mane. I don't feel like he will find a European team anymore. His wage is very high now.

Tuchel used him and allowed Mane to played, the only time he was not allowed to play was during that his punishment from the club and that was towards ending of the season that was why he didn't show up most of the time but if the club wish to sell him, he don't deserve this humiliation to the point of selling him less than what they bought, Mane is more than a regular player.

1060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever felt remorse after gambling? on: July 12, 2023, 10:25:37 PM
Gambling is not merely a game of winning or losing; it involves staking one's money.
Thus, there's winning and losing because it involves money.

The guy is talking as if he was force to come play, it actually involved staking of money but nobody put a gun at your neck to stake the money, the better is willing to take a risk because he knows there is chance of winning and there is also a chance of losing, there is nothing to be complaining about if indeed the player is a calculative risk taker and as bettor, if you know your ways, your winning will be more than what you staked because there is no way to gamble without any loss but with a good skill in strategies, money will be made no matter what.

Quote
Many gamblers deeply regret their losses after gambling and squandering their funds.
This is true and the reality that everyone is being set. We do know that whenever we gamble, the anticipation of winning and losing is there and mostly, we think that we're about to lose. By then, we try our best to recover our losses but that's how where our emotions are being played with by the situation. In the end, we feel bad of how we lose and why we didn't take the money when we're able.
