I'm starting to question your reading comprehension.

Ask away, what specifically about my reading comprehension would you like to question.

Way to ignore the problems I pointed out with your accusations.

Answer the question so I can answer yours. What specifically about my reading comprehension do you have questions about ?

Its the 1st Q raised and unfortunately you were not very clear about your confusion on the subject.

I spelled it out already:
1.  Please link to or quote a post where gigavps says he was going to defcon.
2.  Where does he say he cannot verify pirate.  He's in a picture with him and has stated several times he met with him.
3.  What questions are you talking about?  Every time pirate gets involved the threads turn into clusterfucks and it is impossible to keep track of every question, especially when most of them are off the wall stupid.

But, you're just trolling.

Damn no bites.

Yes I did mis-read.

1. Giga does indeed seem to be shilling hard for Pirate and claiming to have met etc etc. I had questions about his honesty due to relations with BFL. Now he endorses pirates obvious ponzi scheme and mocks anyone for doubting such an obvious scheme - I have no doubt Giga is directly involved in the long con (or is trusting idiot with to much money).
2. He still cannot verify pirate (hey look a photo).
3. No argument.

I'd just like to say I'm calling bullshit on the pirate photo. Here's the list of people I met during Defcon, and none of them are in that picture. I find it hard to believe that none of the people I met can identify anyone in those photos from our offline discussions - or I haven't see a post from them confirming it. If you're on this list below and spoke with anyone at defcon in that picture, speak up and correct me.

  • SethSethSeth
  • AndrewBitcoiner
  • Teflon
  • eCrash (teflon's friend)
  • Mike Caldwell
  • BitBlitz ?
  • Alexmat
  • Elliot (asian guy from LA)
  • The anti-forensics speaker dude

Hi Tuxavant,

I never claimed to be going to defcon. I have said this multiple times. I sure you met coingenuity (coinabul) and phantomcircuit who can verify that I was in Vegas along with others in the photo.

I'm not sure what your problem is.

Regards,
gigavps

Actually you have been insinuating the opposite constantly and suggesting that anyone not believing the entire story is an idiot.

edit: this is the first post I have seen (you may have already made it known earlier) that clearly states you were not at DefCon and cannot verify if pirate was present.

Many people have asked you these specific questions which you have avoided (unless you did reply and I did not see).

Then we have the multi trillion air that flew to BFL to reassure everyone (ask me anything, LOL SORRY CANT ANSWER ANYTHING YOUR FUCKING DUMB FOR NOT SPENDING MORE WITH BFL).

I'll bet you didnt meet any of the well known forum shills, ie Giga.

I think we are still seeing the ripples from the most recent big buy order.
$8ish still seems like a good figure to me.

re-added the note about satoshidice having payout issues.

Its a bit concerning they have been silent on This Issue for over 48 h now.
1049  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiDICE.com - The World's Most Popular Bitcoin Game on: July 31, 2012, 04:36:18 AM
ok with regret I am r re-adding the note about their regular outages.

I had the request just 1 week ago and it has been 1 week of large payouts not being processed with no response from the site ops.
Im still sure they will resolve this when they get around to answering their mail but gamers need to be warned.
1050  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiDICE.com - The World's Most Popular Bitcoin Game on: July 30, 2012, 11:53:31 AM
Even if it doesn't work, or isn't profitable, maybe it's effective as a denial of service attack against the site, polluting their wallet with transactions which will never confirm.

Good and interesting point, time for me to go read up on double spend attacks some more and the results of one on a victims wallet.
1051  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Satoshidice.com ,please pay my bitcoins! on: July 30, 2012, 11:33:38 AM
Hi rockie, I am not affiliated with SD but I can vouch for their track record, they should sort this out soon I am sure.
Ive had bets get stuck on other gambling services and the time between requesting support and getting a response can be a big test of patience (which I often fail) Tongue

edit: I was informed recently they fixed their payout delays and updated the my list accordingly (removed the polite note warning players of their outages), If it does continue to occur I will re-add the note.

The check point is not the problem.
BitcoinEXpress already told coblee that he wont attack.
He also said any coin he attacked so far is dead.
So, if some one in future attacks then Litecoin also will die.

Bitcoin gaining trust.
Litecoin loosing trust.

Hang on, someone pulled an attack and destroyed part of the networks litecoins ?
This is even possible with litecoin ?

exactly how much did people lose thanks to this "experiment" ?
I like litecoin but if this indeed is the case I cannot support an alt currency.
I have a friend who lost 2k LTC , he sent them to BTC-ex during these shenanigans and they never showed (0 conf), looking at his address in block explorer it shows  the correct balance.
Nothing happened other than people making/losing coins on the exchanges ...

Thanks Kano, traders losing money on an exchange is nothing new fortunately.

Looks like someone is double-spending SatoshiDice:
http://blockchain.info/double-spends

I always wondered whether that would work.

Its always been assumed it would work but if it was profitable.

Keep up the great work, I really like your site design.

Neat and minimalistic - just my style Smiley

Not as great as pirates 28% monthly return but in my case
I would have guessed that someone experienced in financial markets would know you multiply compoundable returns, not sum them. I suppose not.

LMAO, I still say Maria is pissing in the wind.

I think you'll see a picture of Maria's wang before you see it's imaginary boobles...

I think you will find OP == husband and Maria == Husbands fist.
1057  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Look at a pirate, eye to eye if you dare. on: July 29, 2012, 02:26:16 PM
I give pirate credit for having the balls to conduct this ponzi with so much flair.
I think we are seeing the creation of a very successful pyramid scheme like amway/a2k (whatever they currently call themselves to dodge bad PR).

They dont always fail, occasionally the people at the top get ludicrously rich and have 0 dependence on their pyramid except as an income.

I applaud his efforts and eagerly wait for the outcome whatever it is, It a shame I could not make it to vegas as this would have been a very interesting show to see.

edit never mind Im just an impatient bastard Tongue
1059  Other / Meta / Re: Litecoin child board? on: July 29, 2012, 03:43:30 AM
Just my 2c but if litecoin wants to grow further they should start pushing traffic to their own forum.
1060  Other / Meta / Re: at what point should bitcointalk rid itself of the alt-coin circuses? on: July 29, 2012, 03:39:56 AM
BITCOIN IS AN EXPERIMENT

it is made to encourage forks, imitations and evolutionary development to gain FREEDOM.

Look up what satoshi said then come back or gtfo.

Only in an internet forum could competition be considered a bag thing.

I like both litecoin and namecoin, StoolCoin was great for the amusement value.
