I expect what happened was that your winnings were paid out using the change from someone else's losing bet, and that their losing bet ended up never being confirmed.

There seem to be 8 bets which haven't been paid out after a reasonable length of time:

That's a lot better than it used to be - SatoshiDice seems to be working a lot better in general these days than it used to.  Hopefully FireDuck will look at these 8 bets and resolve them soon.

Already reported the fake Satoshi Dice to proper authority, now it's disabled, enjoy !
I'm afraid someone will use the fake version and lost all their bitcoin by phishing attempt.

Well, SD pays out unconfirmed bets.  When your bet loses, you get 0.5% of it back, and the other 99.5% goes into their wallet as change, and is used to pay out the winning bets.  If the wallet has lots of old confirmed change from losing bets, that's fine, but what if the only coins available in the wallet are unconfirmed change from losing bets?

When you win, and they pay you out with unconfirmed change from other people's losing bets, it's possible that at least one of those losing bets was double-spent and never confirms.  That means the 0.5% returned payment never confirms, and so neither does the change you were paid with.  That in turns means your winning payment won't confirm.

I don't know how you fix that, but I'm guessing it requires manual intervention.

This payment was never put into a block but it remains as an unconfirmed deposit in my client.  Can anyone explain what happened?  I would like to get rid of this because it is a permanent unavailable balance.  How do I remove it?
