1061  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think ? Is this an opportunity to get in or get out on: May 20, 2019, 05:23:09 AM
Bitcoin has become more popular in the financial world due to its sudden growth but When I see exchanges there is a high percentage of people who are trying to sell there Bitcoins to make temporary gains using current price increase and some fear this is a temporary situation so they use this moment to abandon the market but My personal opinion is they doesn't understand this is a time that any investor should invest more into Bitcoins because after along time BTC has shown us it is not a Bubble or just another financial failure so as investors we should have a clear understanding in order to make this opportunity an advantage

We can't blame them, it's their money and it's their choice to do so if they see an opening. This just proves that we don't have the authority and control over them. Even me have a certain goal, if Bitcoin price reach certain price I would definitely sell them.
1062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some unique advantages of online gambling ? on: May 19, 2019, 09:13:51 PM
I feel safe while playing on an online gambling casino, if you play at certain casino where people around are sometimes looking onto the players or in the game you are onto and they see you have won so many, I don't feel secure at all, it's like they are going to ambush me anytime I leave the place, maybe point at me their weapons and bring me to secluded place where I will be rob or maybe worst than that. You see that is why I will probably gamble at home , this cases are possible especially when you live in a country that crime is almost like normal.
1063  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need so many cryptocurrency exchanges? on: May 19, 2019, 04:46:50 PM
This is business out here, different exchanges have different owners but have all the same purposes and goals, to make money. In any case it is good for instance one cannot trade on one and can in another, I see people having a hard time just registering in one so they go to an alternative. The only one that matters is on how those brokers would give customers satisfaction.
1064  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Source of Investment Money? on: May 19, 2019, 02:55:23 PM

I have not been really into investing though I have some stocks with a premiere banking firm here in my country, which i just left in my broker's site idle for some years now. What made me excited into investing is cryptocurrency but unfortunately it was not bitcoin but a scamming project called TheBillionCoin which by name itself really sounded so dubious. Okay, I was still innocent and naive at the time. Soon, I meet bitcoin and it was not yet that pricey at the time but because I was not convinced that it can go sky-high I just bought some.

The main source of the money I invested with bitcoin comes from doing online job with a platform where we are allowed to post in many forums in exchange for some points and the those points can be converted to real money anytime.

What are the sources of the money you invested with bitcoin or cryptocurrency? Anybody here used credit cards?

My money came from my daily savings, I have a small business and I keep all the coins left in the counter. After a week or two I  open the kept coins and buy Bitcoin with it. Sometimes it came from my family, they are such a good fellows and give me money and the thing is I don't know where to put those money I buy it with Bitcoin.
1065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which factors influence your decision of choosing an online crypto casino? on: May 19, 2019, 07:12:24 AM
These are my criteria when choosing a gambling site, this is base on my experience at most.
- Withdrawal limits
- Customer support
- Withdrawal speed and fees
- Probably Fair
- Number of online players
- Reputation of the Online Casino
- User Friendly Website ( Not to shabby)
- No KYC procedures
1066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The only safe haven currency is Bitcoin on: May 18, 2019, 02:21:54 PM
I do not think so, because there is no secure system, even bitcoins can be hacked, through an unsecured exchange.

Only on exchanges though, and it is your own fault to phished too if ever that happens, we should be vigilant in terms of our assets, this is money we are talking and we can't talk and act lightly about it. And last thing is as of now it is not hack-able if it is on your wallet (cold wallet), I have never heard such things as of now.
1067  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining in the cloud vs simply buying bitcoin on: May 18, 2019, 01:16:47 PM
I really wanted to mine since the beginning I entered crypto space. The problem is I don't have the money to buy the equipment I needed. I was able to mine ether but did not take long because I have my pc to my friend but my cards are here with me. I love mining, the thing is I get free electricity that is why. Now if I have the chance and money I would like to buy more cards and a build a rig again. As for now buying small bits of BTC is possible.
1068  Economy / Speculation / Re: after only a few days the bitcoin has gone up, but now it's starting to fall aga on: May 18, 2019, 08:55:58 AM
It seems professional  and whale traders are making big profits by now. Only ones who didn't sell are us, small time traders or simply put long run holders. I guess I don't have any technical skills and I am not analyst. When we are talking about Bitcoi nthe only thing I knew is to hold unless there is an emergency or it is badly needed.
1069  Local / Pamilihan / Re: LENDING SECTION HERE (Funds Available - [btc]0.0275) on: May 17, 2019, 08:13:46 PM
Gusto ko ito dahil ito ang first time na nakakita ako ng thread regarding Lending dito sa section natin.

Just an advice. Since mataas ang transaction fees ng Bitcoin sa ngaun, sana mag open din kau ng ibang crypto na pwedeng i lend like Ethereum or even Bitcoin Cash since mabababa ang mga tx fees ng mga un. Smiley

1070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What importance is kyc In gambling section on: May 17, 2019, 04:14:25 PM
The purpose and objective of KYC is to prevent fraud, money laundering and to imply the security measures which is necessary for both users and the gambling site. It will benefit us though it sometimes causes us hassle. It's important for the monitoring of legit transactions as well.

I still don't get it how would they even prevent fraud from this. I mean there's a lot activity going out on the internet right now. If the ones do fraudulent activities are smart then they could go alternative ways to pass KYC procedures. There are lots of people who want s to sell their identities specially in 3rd world countries, they never mind at all it is an easy money for them. I guess KYC is useless I guess, what do you think?
1071  Economy / Speculation / Re: the bull run is confirmed. on: May 17, 2019, 06:29:48 AM
Traders are just buying this move, most of their alt holdings are being sold for bitcoin.

they don't want to miss this train.

Everyone is an "Expert" and can predict the future when it comes to crypto, didn't you know that? It is funny though to see all these people come out of nowhere making predictions like they actually know what they are talking about. I've been guilty of it at times in the past, but I always say it is just my personal opinion and more of an educated guess than anything. It is simple as that, they don't want to miss the train resulting in panic buying.
1072  Economy / Economics / Re: Price of goods goes up, salary never goes up!!! on: May 17, 2019, 04:54:01 AM

Over the past 30 years, salary never goes up, I know because I saw the salary today is same as my first salary 30 years ago, I’m not disclosing my age, so don’t be too paranoia, but the price of everything goes up thru the roof, the only person who salary goes up are (ikr, salary must kept secret because it is case sensitive, don’t tell anyone else!), ok, enough rant! Try to tell your kids to work for a salary in the future, I think they could barely afford a piece of beard!!

End of story! Ciao!

It depends on the ruler of the country. Good thing we have a just president here in our country, we are proud and thank God he gave us such ruler. He cleansed the nation, drugs  and corruption were rampant. The government employees especially the armed forces were very happy due to double the pay, my wife is a teacher and she is also waiting or their promised 2x salary around this year, she already received an increase.
1073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction becomes more popular with young people over time on: May 16, 2019, 09:25:30 PM
When money is involve, the young people will always go there for a share, either good or bad result from it. "The young are the most vulnerable" when money is tactically involve. Gambling for money can easily lead to gambling addiction, if the gambler focus more on the money than the fun for the play. Am always be careful to get involve, becasue am still very young for addiction.
They want to explore new things, and sometime it doesn't even matter whether it can be bad or good for them. They just keep on trying new things, one cause of these are child that lacks attention in the family. They seek love, and get it from their friends who influenced them from being what they are. So parents should carefully watch over their children. Recent surveys shows that gambling companies and establishments are being installed on populated areas with poor economy, one is ours. With high dense places including kids, it is easy for them to engage in gambling like these.
1074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the end of Newbie? on: May 15, 2019, 02:27:54 PM
Sorry for the bad experiences that you have had. But if you had mentioned the projects you went into, we could have known if the project was really a scam or not. But with your experience you can be more careful next time

I think there will be no next time for him anymore as he really quitting. Too bad he is too late, it was not his fortunate time to encounter profitable bounties. Maybe he was just referred here by some of his who actually earned a lot and he does envy it leading to be here and look for his own fortune but the sadden truth encounter him and breaks his spirit. Why not just buy Bitcoin or eth for you to be sure, just hold it a little longer or maybe if you hold it for a year you could gained double or even greater profits.
1075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We should Unit against Scam Project As a Crypto Community?? on: May 15, 2019, 09:19:33 AM
Unity you say? In the first place the ones who are fueling those shitty ICOs are people who want more money, they so greedy that it blinded them to the truth that there is no need to fund new ICO projects. Why couldn't they just focus on buying Bitcoin all alone and nothing more. If we say we are already too late to buy at low price then tell me something about the people who've bought at nearly 20k USD. There are only few projects now are legit and we can't barely recognize one. Buy bitcoin and hold it, it's that simple.
1076  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be the main currency in Mars? on: May 15, 2019, 05:27:36 AM
Hey guys, taking a break from the bull hype for a minute.

I came across this article this morning lol it was super funny but interesting at the same time...

https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/4-reasons-why-elon-musk-should-consider-bitcoin-as-mars-currency/

Do you guys think Elon Musk could potentially make BTC the main currency in Mars?

I think not, even here in earth we can't make Bitcoin the main currency how come in Mars? There are lots of nonsense rumors going out lately huh. I think if there would be a digital currency to be used in Mars it will be a new one or even if there are rare stones in Mars that can't be found in here the I guess it is also be used as the currency.
1077  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Philippine Election on: May 14, 2019, 04:06:54 PM
Possible naman siguro yung Election with the use of blockchain pero you need to look upon those things na hirap ang blockchain.

1078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tokens prices are decreasing? on: May 14, 2019, 01:01:59 PM
How do you respond when the tokens that you store prices continue to decline? whether you will sell as soon as possible or will hold until the price rises up again. Panic will certainly come over, but it doesn't have to sell. What do you think. Thank you very much.

I was a victim of this hyped thing and now most of my alts are near zero value. The only respond that I do is watch them die slowly. I don't bother selling anymore as they will be worth like cents in their current prices. I already I accepted that I had lost in alts and now I only put most of my money on the one and only Bitcoin.
1079  Economy / Speculation / Re: what will happen if BTC hit 1.000.000$ on: May 14, 2019, 10:42:28 AM
hi guys
if BTC hit 1 million $ in the future what will happen
do u think we will see more hack news
More violence and criminalization of bitcoin holders by governments
Any events we will see ?

This is very funny. Smiley While the bitcoin price declined, everyone drew apocalyptic scenarios. I even remember those who say that Bitcoin will drop to $ 100. Now someone's dating and talking about $ 1,000,000 .... Just funny!
We are talking about what if in here and nothing more, there is no need to be rude to OP. He is just trying to be ready if that time ever comes. Even me believe that 1M USD per BTC is possible, I mean it was just cents when it was first created so the million dollar thing is not a dream anymore. There are more than 21 million people in the world who are millionaires out there, and this is another what if, if there are no one who wants to sell their bitcoin less that a million dollars anymore, what do you think would happen, only time matters here folks.
1080  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did you know? on: May 14, 2019, 08:34:41 AM
No programming code or software is perfect at the very begining.Every code has bugs at the early stage, that's why every software/app needs regular updates to fix all the issues.
If Satoshi just created bitcoin/blockchain without leaving the code open-source and without updating it,bitcoin would have failed by now.

So that is the most profound reason I have ever read about Bitcoin Core being an open source. For other developers to find any flaws and continue developing Blockchain. I thought he was just a nice guy giving his scientific experiments to the world for free.
