1061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2022/23 Season on: August 14, 2022, 08:06:19 PM
It is 100% clear that there isn't just enough time for all these players who are new to the club just end up playing perfectly with each other and expecting to know how they play together. Surely they made some mistakes and they paid it by getting zero points.

However, if by week 10 or so they are still not an amazing club after spending a good chunk of money (weirdly enough even after this many transfers they did not spend "that" much) and still suck, then it's a problem. They look like there is a potential there, but the potential is not enough, they need to make sure that they know what they are doing, otherwise they are not going to end up with a good result on the standings at all this year again.
1062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think metaverse have a place in the world on: August 14, 2022, 05:50:59 PM
Do you think that Metaverse will actually work out in the future? I am one of the very few that believes that Metaverse won't be successful because what the world cares about the most is the most needy, I asked myself if metaverse is really needy and I can't seem to find an answer, what about you?/
At this time, of course, we know that almost everyone is very familiar with technology, so if the Metaverse is really successfully developed in the future, then in my opinion it is not impossible that the metaverse will be widely adopted by the community because basically the metaverse is a virtual world that is fully developed using advanced technology and it provides various virtual needs so that people are interested in the metaverse world.
But that tech requires a lot of R and D investment to grow bigger. Which means that it doesn't need to be fully on just one project, but it does need to be something that requires constant investment into projects all around, which means if one of them adds a new feature, the new ones will have that feature naturally and add something else on top of it and eventually the future projects will have all those features and reach to a point where it will be amazing.

This is why I believe that we should be looking out for the crypto world to become bigger by our investments even if we lose money on them, because we helped develop a new tech with our funding to it.
1063  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 truths about bitcoin, in my opinion? on: August 14, 2022, 09:51:31 AM
I would guess that the cycles are growing smaller as well. Like when it moved from just under a dollar to over 30 dollars that was x30+ and more, which means when it moved from 100 bucks or so to 1400 dollars in 2014 that was also a bit 14x give or take, and when it moved from 700 dollars to 20k that was about a good chunk I will have to agree with that, but then we moved from 10k to 60k which was just 6x, 7x if you count 68k as 70k.

As we can see, people who are investing now, will still make a good money, better than any stock they can pick or gold, but it wouldn't be as good as the early birds who made x100 and then some on their bitcoin if they are still holding it.
That is mainly because the amount of money required goes up. When the bitcoin world was small, going from 1 dollar to 30 dollar required only a few million dollars, was early days so it was hard to find that, today that’s like not even a price that would change the bitcoin price 30 bucks even at this rate. Whereas, today we need billions of dollars that could change bitcoin, without that we are not going to move at all.

This doesn't mean we can't see 10x or more increases again, it could happen because there are more people involved right now. But that is still a difficult challenge that I believe barely ever happens, only on full cycles that see a huge bull run, which is once every few years.
1064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 13, 2022, 08:33:51 PM
Sooner or later the NBA commissioner will have to do something about it. He said publicly that he doesn't want how Durant demanding a trade after signing a huge contract. Sooner or later we will see some rule change, at least to have team owners get a better deal when they sign this kind of players.

And since they can't be simply be traded right away because the Nets wants more, and you can't blame them. Again, it boils down on the money they put in the line and they want something in return, like future draft picks, because that's what the lost as well when they sign the 2.
I do not think that there is a need for a rule change at all. I believe that we shouldn't really meddle with the teams inner works and let them do whatever they want with players. If a team could trade a player away without asking permission from the player, then I am sorry but a player should be able to get a trade from the team at the same time.

Let's assume that Nets got an offer a year ago, like something so special that it was amazing, picks and all-star players and everything, people thought that other team was idiot for offering, would Nets not be able to take that deal? Even if Durant wanted to stay? Of course they would have taken the deal. So if teams can trade players away, then players should be able to go away if they want to as well.
1065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 13, 2022, 07:25:06 PM
They sold their tv rights, they sold their media, they sold part of their jersey income already, they are selling basically everything they can, and they sold their investments too which were bringing a lot of money. People do not realize this, but even if they register all these players, and even if they manage to win everything they possibly could with this roster, there is no possible way that they are profitable.

I mean they lost so much that they need to double the income of last year in order to just even break even this year, that's not possible. All of this will hurt them, it was a mistake, they shouldn't have done it, get maybe some free agents if you want but get rid of many expensive salary players, not get more. They will regret this year for sure.
1066  Economy / Economics / Re: A Secret to financial breakthrough on: August 13, 2022, 06:00:42 PM
You are the ones who do hold your own future and it does really depends on how you do work hard to achieve those goals or targets you do have in mind. Some might really have the advantage when it comes to opportunities and financial aspects where it could really make things even more simpler for them to achieve those goals and this is via investments and some do find out for another path not only via investments but also in other things as well like doing hard work and finding and making decisions which would really be that relevant.
Unfortunately, the world we live in doesn't really leave too much time for kids to decide what they want to do with their lives, that's the biggest problem. Everyone is focused on the money part so much that they do not realize you spend about 15-20 years in educational system and never really learn a thing.

There are of course amazing nerds who become amazing employees, or even business owners, but I think it would be easier if you never cared about education results at all, and learned just because you wonder about it. I never did what I studied for, and I am quite happy with where I am.

First I worked for someone else and went to an office, but part-time I did my current job, and for the past many years I have been doing this as full-time because I knew what I liked, people need to figure that out.
1067  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I started business many days ago. Now it's time to accept Crypto as a payment. on: August 13, 2022, 03:01:53 PM
Accepting bitcoin in a non-crypto related business is a great deal because that's how we will grow in adoption, and we want the same thing for everyone else to do, that way we could end up just holding bitcoin forever without ever needing to work with fiat. In my nation it's allowed, there are no laws against it and yet we still have only a few places that accept it.

If we are talking about the total numbers that’s fine because we are seeing a ton of them, but that is mainly because 90% of them are crypto related companies, if we look at the ones like OP which I assume is non-crypto? That number is very small, in a country with 3+ million companies (from tiny places to huge corporations) we have only 1000 places that accept it.
1068  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Since 2013 | Longest Running Crypto Casino | 113 BTC Jackpot! on: August 13, 2022, 11:45:49 AM
Primedice definitely needs a resurgence of some kind, because everyone did move to stake, because dice is there as well and there are many other games as well along with a sportsbook, and a huge drake partnership. But that doesn't mean that there is nobody here, look at the website and see how people are gambling if you want to see yourself, check the betting part and you will see that there are not just regular gamblers but there are even whales having a big bankroll and gambling huge amounts.

So, it is not "gone" but I get the idea that people are not sure about how it is going right now, and that's understandable, because it's not that easy to see when you do not look.
1069  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2017 : 20,000$ - Bitcoin 2022 : 20,000$ on: August 12, 2022, 08:58:43 PM
Although the price of bitcoin has fallen very deep from last year's ATH level, I don't think that bitcoin has lost its bullish momentum. From the first, negative sentiments about bitcoin have often occurred, causing the price of bitcoin to plummet. But the price is always going up even the bitcoin price is currently at $23k a few months ago it fell to the $18k-$17k area. Better to hold bitcoins for now and don't panic. I'm sure we'll see the market recover in the near future and bitcoin will be bullish again.
I do agree that most of the drop was caused by three things that regular retail investors didn't intended to. First of all, it was manipulation, because there were a lot of hedge funds and billionaires like Elon who manipulated the market along with nations like China (people may have forgotten but China banned bitcoin again for a dozenth time when fall started).

Secondly it was speculation, people who are afraid of bitcoin going down who ended up selling and screaming fire, if they didn't, it wouldn't have gone down like this but since they did, they turned out to be right thanks to themselves. Last but not least, liquidation of all the long future bets, that turned bitcoin into USDT to pay for it. None because of "market decided to sell" type of reason to be fair.
1070  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 Web 3.0 Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect on: August 12, 2022, 06:16:02 PM
People ended up checking the rules, people ended up starting a scam accusation, all of these are by the book and that's something I will always in support of. In my opinion, this is the right way to do it as well. All OWL needs to do now is go there and tell the people what the problem was and how they will solve it, or if it's not something they will solve, why they wouldn't and why the gambler was in the wrong. If they do that then they will be protected by the people here if they are right.

But if they keep ignoring it, I am sorry but people will eventually get away from this place and will look forward to making sure that nobody else plays here, it has been done before, and would be done again.
1071  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun | 0.28% House edge | Live tables | Baccarat |Slots| InstantWithraw on: August 12, 2022, 02:53:20 PM
How many profit do you get so far on all those free spin? Blackjack.fun daily fs is the best regular giveaways for real.  Cheesy
The highest free spin that I collected on a single day was 40+ free spin but I don’t hit a single bonus game out of the 40+ try. I usually hit bonus game when I just have 5 or 1 free spin on my balance. Dig dig digger doesn’t offer huge return on each spin. We should not expect to get any big amount out of this free spin because this slot is designed for small returns only due to its low volatility.

The highest profit that I get on all my free spin was 300ubtc but I saw someone winning more than 1000ubtc on the chat box.
I agree that it is not really that much profitable on the free spins, I personally do not really get much from them neither. It's fine though, in the end we are talking about something that is dangerous in the long run because if you rely on them then you will most likely already lost the normal way as well.

We should only focus on the regular gambling we do and nothing more, if we keep doing that then it would be a lot better and it would give us a good result for sure. Doesn't mean that we shouldn't realize regular gambling will make us lose too, but it would be quite boring and would be definitely useless if we keep thinking that house edge will get us all the time.
1072  Economy / Economics / Re: Americans’ household debt surpasses $16T for first time on: August 12, 2022, 06:29:38 AM
As long as the dollar is the world currency, then all the debts in the US economy are not so dangerous for the United States, because they print dollars. But the main problem is that many countries have already begun to abandon settlements in dollars and use national currencies. If this trend does not stop, then the dollar will have problems.
It is obvious that dollar lost a lot of value in the recent few years, but they also gained a lot considering how other currencies lost value as well. This is why I do not believe that people will turn towards what they could do with their own currency, makes sense in a small scale but doesn't make sense when you consider how risky it could become.

This is a very important task for USA which means that they need to make sure even if USD loses value, it doesn't lose value more than it loses in other fiats. That's an important aspect and should be regarded as such. Dollar could become something smaller but that doesn't mean that it would be a bad deal, as long as it's still better than bigger one.
1073  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia More Than Triples Current-Account Surplus to $167 Billion on: August 11, 2022, 09:26:23 PM
Renewable energy sources for production needs are complete crap. Europe is France and Germany, whose economy allows the European Union to exist. They need cheap resources for this, and now there is nowhere to get it from. The economic downturn in Europe will be much stronger than in Russia.
Renewable energy sources are not a crap solution, right now it could be looking like it's crap and not enough but with enough investment it would be done and it would be much better. Which one would you prefer to rely on, the oil you get from dead dinosaurs for a while longer, or a limitless energy sources that will die in 4 billion years called the Sun? I would prefer the Sun really.

And maybe it is not enough today, but I guarantee you that it will be enough in the long term because tech is ever improving and we will have a much better one eventually, the price would drop and improvements and new features would make it a viable source of energy to whole Europe.
1074  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: August 11, 2022, 07:14:31 PM
^That is exactly what I mean. Buying bitcoin just to get some drugs is not "misused", it is illegal, there is a difference, if you buy bitcoins just to print them up on your wall is a big misuse though, good thing if you want to, but could be used better. Misuse in this case means that there is a better thing to do that will benefit you the most and you ignore it, that is what misuse means for me.

So, if NFT world has a better way to be used and still ignores it, then that is a misuse. Images that you have a proof of ownership doesn't mean it is a good usage and there are many better cases where you could see rollbots where it is used a lot more properly and gives a reason to buy it.
1075  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the US economy in recession? on: August 10, 2022, 09:12:50 PM
Probably every economy is in recession. It is either a short term recession, long term recession or future recession. As the year goes by, purchasing power across the countries reduce. A property you bought with a certain amount this year, you might not get it again in same price next year. So, every country us travelling in same recession lane and inflation.
While the big countries might take a while and prove difficult to notice, smaller countries suffer much. But on the global index, it will surely be known that a country is no longer in it's stable state.
That's because the whole world went through the pandemic together, meaning all world had to stop, and that means everyone had to get paid even while not working, which meant printing money, which meant high inflation, which meant higher rates to withdraw that money from the markets, which results with recession. This type of track happened in all nations because we all went through the same things together.

I am not saying that it is the best available option, or a great life to be in, but at the very least I understand why it is happening. This is why I think it is clear to me why people are worried about something worse to happen in the future, because they saw how bad it could get.
1076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will people finally abandon Tron? on: August 10, 2022, 02:19:51 PM
It is a know fact about Tron because Tron is really a bad coin, bad tech and just hyped because of Justin Sun.
It is an ancient coin and will be replaced by better tech, still people are bag holding it.
Better get out ASAP because Tron won't be able to deliever.
The idea of tron was to create something similar to what we have at the top but with a smaller transaction cost, that was all the feature they offered, and that didn't really get any attention, I guess due to lack of sponsorship to new projects.

What binance and ethereum did was to have foundations who helped projects pick those chains, well eth didn't need a reason because it is the biggest and everyone loved it, but for example binance paid a million dollars to pancakeswap before they even released, showing that they will be there to help them out, and we saw how big it got. So, I do not think that it would really matter all that much if we did something similar with tron, because they just straight up didn't helped any projects to be on their chain.
1077  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi’s Place, U.K. Bury, Greater Manchester on: August 09, 2022, 08:15:28 PM
I would definitely love to visit this place, it looks like the most perfect place for the bitcoin lovers. However, I am far away from UK and I think I would never be rich enough to visit it neither.

People in Europe may feel confused, even people in the USA could feel confused a bit as well because you guys are making good money. Making about 5k dollars per month doesn't make you a rich person in any of these nations, makes you a good earner maybe or decent but not a rich one.

However, where I come from, people do not make 5k per year, let alone per month, we are poor, and even though I am above average for sure, I still do not have 5-10k to spend and visit here. But I love it here, it looks like the type of place where all bitcoiners could go and drink beer and talk about crypto while networking all the time.
1078  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador claim bitcoin attracts tourists right or wrong? on: August 09, 2022, 06:52:03 AM
The problem is that going to El Salvador is not cheap, and that means there are people who are rich in crypto that could go to ES but that is only good for a while and for only a few people. I would love to visit there myself and he is right about the fact that just because they made it legal tender, many of us here would love to visit there at least once.

But, when we are talking about people who cannot afford going there, that makes it a bit harder. I do not have enough money to buy tickets to a flight to El Salvador round trip let alone actually stay there, which shows you that his intentions are true, but reality is more costly and we can't even think about it as of now. Like, if you are holding around one bitcoin and bitcoin prices will be getting into a another 20x to 50x then we could plan up for this most likely.
1079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: August 08, 2022, 08:22:58 PM
I don't think it makes a difference or at least I would say it is an excuse if the players claim that the time of the year was decisive. They are top notch professionals and will play that tournament at any time in any place on any planet Wink They are used to playing almost year round anyway, they know snow, rain, and extremely hot weather. I think it won't be about the "time of the year". If anything, the climate could play a role in soccer, but even that is taken care of within the stadiums as far as I know.
Another point is that it would be hot or whatever the condition is for both teams and not just one team. If England loses to France, they can't say it was too hot as an excuse because it was hot for the French players as well, how could it be not equal in that sense.

However, playing on perfect conditions allow us to watch a better game, it matters to us. If the weather is good enough then everyone will play their best and we will watch amazing games, if it's too hot, too cold, rain, snow or whatever, even if too windy, then we are going to see results that are based on not the perfect situation and that will not be good thing to view as a fan who will be watching from home, certainly not to people who watch it on the stadiums.
1080  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: August 08, 2022, 02:53:23 PM
NFT market is also down to some extent at this time and investors are not ready to put their funds at stake but Rollbit managed to successfully sell out both at right time and now they only need to develop accordingly and provide additional benefits to holders which they are also doing at the moment. There might be more new development for the community and players on the way so just go with the flow.
NFT is good from technology to potentiality to expand to more industries. Lately a NFT domain was sold at $15 million that is an insane price in bear market. There are people who are ready to pay high price for a perfect domain name. NFTs.com Domain Name Sells For $15 Million. We should look at fundamentals, technology then think of potentiality of NFT technology in future. I think its future is very good.
NFT tech is there and it's great but it’s misused if you ask me. Images that you own is not really a great idea, the whole mocking around it about "I could take a screenshot of it" is of course not fully understanding the idea behind it, but also makes sense for us to see what others are thinking. If we could get the NFT technology to be used a lot better than we would have a better chance to make it go higher.

Rollbit is a good feature because of this, they created rollbot with the sole understanding that it would be connected to the casino, meaning it’s not just some images, it actually has a purpose and that is why it was such a loved idea and bought so much.
