Shifting discussion towards normal discussion about Roobet gambling then there is a chance to win some amount by guessing slot sound so if you are good at it then check it out for a chance worth $75 so here is the link: Guess slot to win $75
I really miss those days when Hhampuz has probably the same contest where you need to guess the slot with zoom-in pics, it was really engaging. I think it was Roobet as well that started it, I guess guessing the sound is way more difficult especially if you don't want your sound to be heard while you're playing on their platform.

That were the good old days but Hhampuz recently posted here that there are not bringing this contest back (and also not the guess the wager game). We are getting less and less nice promotions for this forum (except for 1 or 2 casinos) but maybe this trend can be turned around?

at least the signature campaigns keep going, roobet does the art contest quite often here too
are you talking about different contests and promotions? trying to understand it here

They need to keep there signature campaign since this is the one give them good visibility so its given on why its staying for long months since they need to keep their exposure high by using that option. But for other campaigns maybe yes they have less implemented promotion but maybe for sure in future once the number of users are declining maybe they might think to launch new contest maybe to spice up their platform and to convince new or old gamblers to play and participate on their activities launch on their platform and also here in forum.

sometimes I think if the signature campaign is more about exposure or more about backlinks/SEO and giving back to bitcointalk.
Probably the SEO helps too since bitcointalk is a big niche website
what do you think?
1082  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: CAMPANHAS DE ASSINATURAS ATUALIZADAS on: July 25, 2023, 11:59:11 AM

Round 146 Payments have been sent out!

Thank you all for yet another fantastic week, keep it up! Smiley

I've removed a number of members after carefully looking through merit activity, posting habits and trust and therefore, we have 6x Sr. Member and 4x Hero/Legendary member positions open, apply now!

1000x must be hard to win as well, what are the odds?
I know it is frustating to play and not win but maybe take it as a way to practice outcome independence
being happy regardless of what happens

Hitting 1,000x in plinko is 0.0015% or we can say it is 1 in 150k if my math is correct Smiley
I play this game a lot and I have hit 1,000x many times but most of the time it was just small bet $0.1-$0.3
I love this game since I play it for the first time years ago, the best thing in this game is that there is a guarantee 0.2x bet back in each bet because there is no 0x in the plinko game that I play.
Actually slot is better if the main idea is to hunt big multiplier because it gives more chances and more variations of multiplier.

wow, interesting, do you think it's possible to beat the house only using math or impossible? I know that by logic it should be impossible because the house always win.... but maybe if you're really lucky it'd be a way to bet with bigger amounts too

tenho que me debruçar e ler o projeto...

tipo equilíbrio do sistema dopaminérgico... impulso e recompensa.
1088  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Ataques físicos a investidores de Bitcoin on: July 21, 2023, 10:57:16 AM

1089  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CHESS] FIDE Candidates Chess Tournament 2022 on: July 21, 2023, 10:46:05 AM
What are your thoughts on Hikaru Nakamura winning Norway Chess 2023?

I heard that this is by far, the worst tournament that Magnus Carslen had participated in which he did not garner a single win in his classical matches. What do you guys think? Will this fuel and ignite the burning passion that he once had with chess and focus on winning on the next following tournaments?
~

There are no miracles. Carlsen, firstly, began to age, secondly, he lost motivation and trains little (this is clearly visible, since thanks to the news we follow how he lives and there is not much chess there), this inevitably led to a decrease in sports performance. Now he has two options: to drastically change his lifestyle and return to chess, which will undoubtedly return him to the top without any problems, or continue to live as he is now and be surpassed by young players in the course of a couple of years.

this reminds me of the idea that either you believe that everything is a miracle or nothing is

it's normal in life to have a peak of performance at some point, we don't have to be the best forever and it's totally ok if Carlson decides to pursue other objectives

Some say we'll have the view of the mountain we decide to climb, maybe he had enough of chess
1090  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: July 20, 2023, 11:38:31 AM
I had a friend like that, he made insane amount of money from trading, zero emotions at all when dealing with millions of dollars that can be gone in a second, apparently that helps.
Trading is not easy and a bigger capital you are using for trading, a more pressure you have as well as bigger effects from emotion you have to cope with. It's not easy to repeat success from trading with small capital to trading with like x10 or x100 to x1000 that small capital.

When you are trading with very big capital, you don't chase for x2, x10 or x100 from it, you only need small percent of profit which is enough. You will prioritize safety and only open positions if you see good chance to get profit but it still has pressure. Big capital, big risk to lose big when you fail.

Quote
When gambling though, if you have no emotions then there is no need to gamble, because it's all about getting emotions back.
Gambling for fun is different than gambling for rich and do it irresponsible.

great takes
more money moves markets so it gets more difficult to have the same returns as with little money
but good traders can always find an edge

it makes me think
are there "good" gamblers? or its always luck?

maybe the ones who manage emotions and bankroll are the good ones
1091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: July 20, 2023, 11:20:04 AM
Yeah, having positive mindset is important but having positive mindset in gambling for believing he can recover all of his losses is really a wrong mindset. Every gambler should know and aware if they gamble only for fun, if they can't find the happiness in gambling when they're keep losing, they shouldn't gambling at all. Gambling is a choice and each person has it's own interest, so not all people can become a gambler.

That's right, if there are significantly more losses than wins, then there is no point in continuing to do this. In this case, you won’t even get any pleasure even if the game is for fun, what a joy it is if the player constantly loses. Gambling is not the only activity that can bring what we are looking for, but this feeling of adrenaline will still pull back...

No sense if you are aiming to have some fun and you just keep losing your money.

For sure, even you are just looking to kill some time and enjoy, you are still trying to win. It will be an additional entertainment
if you will manage to win, the problem with is when you feel that excitement, the feeling of allowing you to cash out some money,
the adrenaline to keep bringing you back, that's the thing that will lead you to seek for more.

depends on how you're losing too but agree with you that gambling is different than trading in this aspect
you simply can't make it all back in one trade...

fixed risk bets solves the adrenaline rush of winning
staying calm even after big wins or big losses

1094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: July 20, 2023, 10:46:32 AM
That's what I'm talking about. I'm not trying to say that Plinko is so boring that I hate this game and never play it. No. I used to play Plinko a lot in the past. I even hit 1,000x multiplier twice, although the win itself wasn't that big because the stake was around 1 cent only. But, as I see, you agree yourself that Plinko can become boring with time. There are many online slots that can become boring too, most of them, I would say. But I think there are more than twenty of them that no one would call boring.
I played Plinko and never won 1,000x this is actually a little frustrating because in Plinko playing for too long this is really bored I feel, maybe it's not just me, many people say the same that Plinko sucks.

The games that never get bored are slots but these are just a few favorites while the slots from so many other providers I don't like except for the Pragmatic play provider, but that's the slot sometimes with a little capital it's always addictive, it's hard to stop feeling curious because you want to continue.

But now slot games are pretty much reduced, I'm switching more to sports betting which is the current focus.

1000x must be hard to win as well, what are the odds?
I know it is frustating to play and not win but maybe take it as a way to practice outcome independence

1095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: July 19, 2023, 02:26:22 PM
~ Personally I think that if at some point a gambler develops an AI like this and eventually they get banned by casinos due to the edge they get, eventually this software may make it to the hands of gamblers all over the world, and if that is the case then you will find yourself at a massive disadvantage, compared to those which are willing to use such tool.

How can you ban something like this? Although, maybe we see how to use AI to predict outcomes differently? I see it like this. You promt it to search for the needed info, like injuries of the main players, health and legal issues, their probable replacement, everything that affect the outcome of the game, and then you ask whether making a bet with a certain odds makes sense, right? And you either accept its advice or you don't. How can you ban such an adviser?

if the calculations are made offline let's say and a human applies the bets without software then you simply can't
you could let's say ban softwares and automations but there's no way to ban like an adviser be it a human or an AI one, doesn't matter

Haha.

isso acontece mesmo Paredao
mas que raios tem a ver com o W e a fórmula do tal do Kelly?

juro que não to implicando contigo

você leu o livro?
tá bem distante de auto-ajuda
hahahaha

caraca Paredao... me divirto.

But support won't answer such things like they are legit or not because they are responsive to any issues on the site but he/she don't need to worry about duelbits.

Support is obligated to answer all casino related questions especially to prove their reputation to the customers that having doubts. They can provide their legal documents such as license to prove how legit they are including their years of service.

Conversation on ANN thread is really helpful too to get information without any bias since members here are giving their personal opinion without an incentive from Duelbits except those Duelbits signature campaign participants.

if you open a request using the main website you'll have no problem, they'll answer even if it takes a while
as Wapfika mentioned here is not the best place for support questions even though sometimes they do answer too

about the signature campaign has lots of posts and conversations going on here

1100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: July 18, 2023, 01:35:04 PM
Roll Eyes To be honest, I can't understand where the sarcasm is, as Infantino already lobbies for a World Cup every two years. Of course, as you correctly noted, this will destroy all records, but I think everyone will understand the value of new records compared to those that were set in the old format.

Well.. what is wrong with having a world cup every two years? If leagues such as English Premier League, Ligue1 and Serie A can be conducted every year, spanning for 4-5 months, then what is wrong in having a FIFA tournament every 2 years which will get completed in around 1 month duration? IMO, clubs are having a disproportionate influence in global football and the importance of international competitions are going down. IMO, this is not a move in the right direction, because the clubs only care about money and not about the overall growth of the game.

Do you believe in good fairy officials who take care of the game?  Grin
Football is a business. Clubs are those who do business and they are responsible for it with their money. Everything else - FIFA, UEFA and other shit is parasites. I always trust a businessman more (because I have a direct influence on him with my money) than degenerate officials who dispose of the fruits of other people's labor. I have a completely different view of things than you: in my opinion, clubs should have more influence (like the NHL), and all other officials and competitions held by them should be in a marginal niche.

Agree with you
but at least we don't see so many scandals in FIFA than in general corrupt governments
or there are lots of scandals and I'm the one who don't know about it?  Roll Eyes
