Just downloaded and installed the latest NXT wallet and server. I had ARDR on Polo and transferred it to my next ID and now see it when running server but, two problems. The wallet doesn't load past a blank blue background and the server loads but flashes a brief message about most likely being on a fork. Tried removing and reinstalling, no change. Any help would be welcome, thanks in advance.

Dnotes is sleeping in c-cex,how to grow price up  We have need only 0.5-0.7 btc till 30k per coin in c-cex. Thank you for reminding us, sarabanda. I just went and bought some as a show of support. I like C-cex but have been so busy these days. The volume has always been very low at C-cex. Perhaps it will get better after DNotes 2.0 is launched. Slow and steady wins the race, no need to hurry. |

For Polo it's a bit strange, either they had some issue with one or two coins and freezing all from the same codebase, or they are having internal issues. Couldn't get direct contact so far and afaik the others couldn't reach them as well, so we don't know the exact reason.
Still frozen as of 13:50 EST no explanation yet... |

I haven't heard any news, it can be an dump-pump organization by whales. But i use poloniex and 24 hour high price is 25000, where did u see 70000 ?
Take a look on Bittrex! Anyway this organized pump filled my sell orders too then...Well done whales! Thanks for sharing this! Actually, if you do a little research, you will notice that volume, and price, have been more or less steadily raising for the last month or so right along with a good portion of the market. |

0.0055 to 0.0030 in 2 days  is it correction or weak hands dumping hard? or whale wants cheap coins? I'm going to guess that it was a little bit of correction or manipulation followed by a panic sell. That's alright though, it gives us a chance to fill our bags before it rises again. More or less the entire market is down but not for long. I'm buying, how about the rest of you? |

To spice things up, I am considering a usability contest where the most used GUI gets an additional bonus. By having a specific deadline for tallying the usage, this incentives an early release, but of course if it is early but not so good, it wont get much usage.

The bonus amount I want to be big enough to get some project management types to manage a few devs. To achieve this effect, I am proposing a $100,000 USD equivalent of KMD (max of 50,000)
So if you can manage a barterDEX GUI project, you can get it accepted as a bounty setaside to make sure that you recoup your costs and also get a shot at the $100,000 bonus. BTT: I'm thinking with this bonus we should be able to hire some professional developers or a project leader. At the moment I'm leading an outsourcing project with some IT engineers based in India and our company is based in Europe. There are really good people there and they have a salary of 1.000 - 1.500$ per month (with master degree and several years of working experience). Also in East Europe there are smart and well educated people which are having lesser living costs than in other countries. Perhaps it would be a smart idea to hire some of them and paying them a fix, generous salary in USD? Because I'm not sure if we will find the right people here in the crypto market. That way we are also able to complete some different GUIs with different technologies in a few weeks or months. Just a few thoughts from my side. Best regards! If the devs have come out and said ITT that there was no organic justification for the price growth that is more aligned with my thinking than yours. How are any coins explaining their amazing success right now? Those with solid foundations, skillful Dev teams and a purpose are all up by double digits. CLOAK has a purpose and the tech works. The current team is focused, capable and dedicated. People are entering the markets in ever increasing numbers. I would rather question a coin that did not shoot upwards, that's where there is a problem, not here. As for "prolonging" the open source, you might just consider this a big job to get right especially since there is NO requirement to do it. And as far as I can see, they are more or less on schedule and the investors are happy. And the only thing "fake" here my friend is you. What is your real reason for coming here? Are you a CLOAK investor? If so, your behavior is rather strange. If not, then why troll this thread? Life is too short for this kind of crap, grow up. |

The key takeaway for me in Alan's CEOCFO magazine interview, and the press release associated with it, is that it will get people to begin asking the right questions.
So few people understand what is going on, or what is relevant in the industry BECAUSE so few people are asking proactive questions in our media that help people to better understand their own actions - i.e. investment choices. Even when people do ask these right questions (or who have the answers), they are not given a platform.
For example: why is there no conversation within the industry regarding intrinsic value? Even if you have an application building network and a tokenized 'gas' for its use, that hardly drives an 'intrinsic value'. It just means you can use it as money to pay for a network, in the same way that I can spend my Bitcoin's at many online retailers - there is no value behind such applications for supporting a token's -- or currency's -- price.
Alan's interview primes readers to ask these questions. Our approach is different, and it is one that seems completely lost on an industry containing many of the greatest minds. Many people investing in the crypto-realm are great at recognizing a 'cool technology', yet have absolutely no idea about what intrinsic value is, and absolutely no idea that value creation (i.e. shared profit or value creation) is what drives this.
Fiat money -- or modern money -- has zero intrinsic value, as both a piece of paper (burning?), and as a token (infinitely printed representation of debt that we trade with one another). Cryptocurrencies generally are held up by speculative hype and dreams of making a fortune in the future. Should these dreams be considered an overestimate, no development network can save its token from falling to zero.
Some may wonder if an ICO for equity is intrinsic value? -- ABSOLUTELY NOT!
There are ICO's everywhere that are backed by nothing. People are seeking 100s of millions with nothing but a white paper or another 'me too'. Currently Ethereum is the most used token in this regard for raising ICO funding, of which all are soon dumped at the exchanges for BTC and USD which isn't great for Ether's price. This dumping makes all Ether investors proxy financiers of other people's garbage-grade investments from their community. Investments in businesses that don't even have any customers... But at least the ICO people hand over a newly issued token worth nothing (early discount price proves it!) in exchange for handing over a token with an actual tradeable 'price' that they get to spend. ICOs are crowdfunding without promise of future profits.
So what intrinsic value again? I mean it's not to say a tradeable coin won't go up in value (like say Ether in their ICO), but really... none if it is intrinsic value.
But a rapidly growing and profit generating business? Would you invest in that? What if a currency was also a share in the company and company profits were directed back into the currency network? This is called compound growth model, or positive-feedback loop that enhances and amplifies the success of any component of an ecosystem.
We are currently taking an active approach to make sure these questions are asked. Great to see our approach, the better approach, being dispensed in the mainstream media.
When Einstein made his famous observation "Compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world. He who understands it, earns it ... he who doesn't ... pays it.” he forgot to add intrinsic value. Without an understanding of this concept people will never truly understand what "money" is. Schools don't bother to teach underlying concepts and roots of belief anymore. Its like they give you the icing without the cake. there is a whole generation of young people now who have no clue how the dollar gets it's power to buy real goods or even where that authority really comes from. Quite a shame... |

This is truly amazing. Does no one here, with the exception of a few, really understand what an ICO is or how it works? To all of you who are moaning about EON not being released till August or, pushing for wallets and such, understand this:
ICO (Initial Coin Offering): The process of collecting funds from investors up front (ie: BEFORE a product, coin, wallet, etc exists) in order to fund the development of a product, coin, wallet or other instrument such as a blockchain or infrastructure.
Thats right, they collect money by selling FUTURE tokens that DO NOT YET exist in order to fund their development. We have all paid for the FUTURE development of the Exscudo project, including the EON tokens, up front, before they exist. Is that clear?
This is how it works in the real world of brick and mortar and this is how it works online. Your money funds a project that produces something of value and hopefully, you get your investment back and, make a profit when the product increases in value above what you paid for it. And, you accept the risk that it will not and you will loose money, that's the risk you take by investing.
So, to those who continue to ask how to "download" EON tokens or, which exchanges they can buy EONs from, and is there a wallet, the answer, right now, is NONE and NO, they don't exist, period.
While I'm on this rant, to the idiots that ask the same question over and over even though it's been answered multiple times on multiple pages, please STOP! Use the search box near the top of each page to find the already posted answers!

I've been holding this coin since it was launched. Without your involvement, it would have been worthless. I think everyone here needs to take a deep breath and step back a bit while this is worked on. Griffith took on a project with great potential but, with lots of built in errors and problems, some not at all apparent until the wallet was back out in the wild in real numbers.
The absolute BEST thing ALL of you can do is relax and realize this won't be corrected overnight but, it will be corrected. I would suggest posting problems or errors that have not already been posted but not every little thing, that's simply annoying. The more useless stuff posted here, the more time this issue will take to resolve.
So, it's being worked on, the Dev knows about the problems and is, I'm sure, prioritizing the solutions. Lets cut him some slack shall we?

Good approach, RJF, but things like the bug I pointed out 6 posts above yours need to be ironed out yesterday, considering the volume & interest that this coin has gained, in order to keep that momentum going. If people can't trust the totals in their wallets, or t hat a wallet will function on the exchange (it has been in maintenance for how many days now on coinexchange.io?) or that stakes will be accurate and accepted/added to current wallet funds within a few hours of minting, then we have a big, big problem on our hands in terms of investor confidence. #1 problem to fix: accurate & reliably awarded & confirmed stakes #2 problem to fix: stability with the pending vs available totals in the wallet, without the need to re-sync. I agree with you there, there is a definite order of prioritization and the problems you mentioned are at the top but, just because they still exist doesn't mean they are not being addressed. I'm sure Griffith knows what is important and what is fluff. My point was mainly for folks to keep the noise level down so as not to drown out, as you stated them, problem 1 & 2 above. Trust me, I have very large stake in seeing a working wallet for this coin. |
