1122  Other / Serious discussion / Where to spot the opportunities like that on: December 15, 2018, 06:28:56 AM
Topic I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. just made me think today. Very few were aware of this opportunity and top of it might be some handful understood the importance of concept that time and put faith on it.

Anyways how many believed or not believed is not the important question but important is how many unique concept are still generating that can have huge potential in future. where we can find these innovative concept/product at very beginning stage and get involved with it?
I do not except everything can become successful but still it will be worth trying and evaluating.

Any idea guys, where to look out or something innovative that we can invest in it today and watch it after 5-6 years?

I am not meaning any ICO or any other crypto currency but might be more in line of below  articles, in which we can invest today to see our return tomorrow.

It is time to retire all air dropped sMerits  for stopping Merit abuse.

If someone  earned merit for good quality post, I doubt that user will award that merit to shit posts/ shit posters.
1125  Economy / Securities / Re: LoyceV's Legendary 10 Month 10 Person 10 Altcoin Investment Roller Coaster #2 on: December 14, 2018, 07:42:05 AM

I'm interested in some slightly leveraged kind of reward after the 10 months, based on each coin's performance, but still maintained by the rest of them. Or a stop-loss kinda system, where if one coin tanks too hard, abandon ship and invest the money into other coins, and the person who invested into that coin gets back "10% - x" because his own investment tanked so badly.

NANO is currently up "only" 36%. That was 144% in August.

Instead of suggesting stop-loss kind system,I think profit booking will be great system.  if some coin crosses 120% of value ,( here in case NANO that reached 144% )  sell the amount of coin to get .01 BTC and ask that person to suggest a new coin. Here that person will pick another coin in challenge and you all have some amount of NANO left. (it will be good if NANO keep on rising then you still have some NANO left, but if it tanks you already booked the profits.)

How to reward the exceptional coin picker?
At the end of challenge, after selling NANO divide BTC into 11 equal part , Nano picker will get 2 parts of the BTC and rest will get 1 part each (total 9 parts).

PS: For other 10 coins , pot will be equally divided. Any coin that outperform , profit can be booked  in the end after selling it, that coin picker will get 2x vs other, as I explained in case of NANO above.

Any body have figure that how much earning if you invest in BTC let say minimum of 1 mBTC.
Hard to estimate because it depends on lots of factors: total wagered, total bankroll, leverage, etc. Keep in mind that those factors fluctuate over time so I guess there's really no way to estimate the profit.

You can also make a loss with it too.

Most of the time it seems profitable but a few times you can make a loss on it (although I use lwverages of 10 so that might have more to do with it)...

That is interesting to know (about loss part) I thought that  casino/ house always earn at the end of the day.

1130  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what does your digital currency portfolio look like? on: December 12, 2018, 06:06:58 AM
Few month back my portfolio was 50% BTC and 50% altcoin and now my portfolio automatically changed to 65% BTC and 35% altcoin.
In bear market ,altcoin tanks much. current BTC dominance is 55%.

In same way if market will go in upward trend then I expect that portfolio might change to 65% altcoin and 35% BTC.

BTC will remain the safe bet and altcoin will remain your luck and risk (DYOR might help you)

PS: Do not ask the name of altcoins from others, try to research yourself and ask others why they invested in it, then you will understand better.

1134  Other / Meta / Re: Give an indication why an account was banned! on: December 11, 2018, 08:59:17 PM
Just started giving the copy of rules when everybody sign in this forum.
Just make the ban appeal paid because in 80% of ban appeal user already know they are banned for plagiarizing but they are just wasting the time of everybody. If you are wrongly banned then you will be refunded.
I do not know, is ban appeal is time boxed?
1135  Other / Meta / Re: Ideas for topic ordering in altcoin announcements? on: December 11, 2018, 08:46:49 PM

Add a fee to post Ann thread. Restrct Newbie accounts from posting Ann thread.

Make a paid bumping button, + free bump for every earned merit.

Any paid option will just mean money is leading the forum.  Instead of restricting newbie account from posting ANN thread we can just remove the bump that is currently caused by newbie and Jr.Member.

A bump button , powered by Merit is good idea but that also need to be restricted for number of thread the user will be able to bump in a day (like max. 2 or 3 in a calendar day) because I suspect somebody start buying Merit and start providing bump facility to the ANN threads so even with Merit , you cannot bump all the threads on your wish.

Edit:  Once we have taken out the bump power of newbies and Jr. member , then punishing the spam will also become easier, because you are now risking a temp bans on a higher ranked account if you caught spamming.
1136  Other / Meta / Re: Ideas for topic ordering in altcoin announcements? on: December 10, 2018, 10:55:28 PM
I suggest bump of topic only happen when somebody who had earned 5 merits in last six month reply on it. It will take power of bumping from those people who got mass chunk in one go and are suspected merit abuser.

If feasible, I will like anti bump button for the users so that they can reply on topic without bumping it.
Anti bump button will be useful when you like to post warnings in thread (so user who are tracking it will read it) but it will not be bumped because bumping might attract lot of shitposter and warning you put in thread will be lost between in that shitposts.

Edit: Another Approach.
Just like source merit, we can have bump merits. Whoever has rank greater than member will get 5 bump merits in a day (if user do not use them then it will expire, so next day its total will be 5 , not more than 5). User will use their bump merit to bump the thread (by default , 1 bump merit is used in each reply unless user decline to use bump merit or already ran out of his bump merits.

1138  Other / Meta / Re: account banned after receiving merits on: December 10, 2018, 05:19:58 PM
Look like forum need a automated anti-plagiarizing software to catch these guys. Now they  cannot rank up by farming activity in Off topic so they started copy pasting shamelessly.
I like the idea of charging these guys for raising ban request (refund it if they are not guilty) because after copy pasting, how innocently they claim they did not copy pasted.

1140  Other / Serious discussion / Re: What are we wasting our Lives on? on: December 10, 2018, 07:18:44 AM
It is not exactly wasting because we have time that's why we are engaged with all these activity.

Anyways I read in my economics text book that varied means of entertainment are very necessary  as they keep population growth in check Smiley Smiley
