I had to completely rewrite the code that was generating High-Scores stats. https://yolodice.com/#stats/scores

The long-running queues started killing the database and affecting the performance, so I implemented and idea that came up when talking to Dooglus a while ago - instead of aggregating data over a hour/day/week, we now only process "differential datasets" every few seconds and update the metadata we keep internally.

The conclusion is: the stats are up-to-date now, even the weekly stats and all-time stats. You still need to click "Refresh" to get a new version though (this might change later), but the important thing is that there should be no more bet slowdowns due to generating stats.

Anyway I also do hope that your site will no longer have such a hard time because of the slower bet. I am sure with the new updates of how you manage our betting history will be easy and do not cost much place to save. It was already pretty fast as is. But you were definitely able to tell when the score parser was running (a few times I went and it was really slow).

Till this day, I do not have any speed problem when it comes to their bet, everything is always smooth. Do they ever have this slower bet? Never feel that once

no, we did not implement Lightning Network :-) I think it was a metaphor :-)

It was already pretty fast as is. But you were definitely able to tell when the score parser was running (a few times I went and it was really slow).

So these slow-downs should be gone now. Sure there is still some maintenance that needs to be done once in a while when bet speeds can suffer, but it should not be as dramatic.

I don't think you will get banned for having multiple accounts as long as the other accounts are not under your main account's referral. IIRC they allow multiple accounts on their competition so most probably having multiple accounts is fine

I don't think you will get banned for having multiple accounts as long as the other accounts are not under your main account's referral. IIRC they allow multiple accounts on their competition so most probably having multiple accounts is fine

It's either you win, or there is a huge whale who wipeout the bankroll and you lose everything xD

They do but you can lose some along the way. Whenever I invest in the house, I have a tiny 5& buffer outside in case the bankroll is wiped out.

I lost a tiny bit on yolo at one point and was surprised, it went back up again after but it seemed a bit strange. There are sites like bitvest where it seems to be negative more than it is positive also... Or it at least used to be that way.

Seems on a win, they increase their base bet a little.

However on a loss they decrease by a similiar amount, however in the photo above they only had 2 consecutive losses.

The problem is that when you are betting with 80% its very very common to run into 4-5 losses consecutivately in a row and say they had a few 10+ wins in a row, they will be betting a very large amount, and if they run into 4-5 losses in a row, they will be also betting those large amounts and end up with huge losses in less bets than the prior wins that they had.

I guess if it works for them, then its good however it seems that it only works if you have a poor performance at the start of the round and your luck changes towards the end.

If the multiplier was increased it would become a better strategy imo.
That strategy is good but only when it’s with a 2x or 3x multiplier. On a 1.6 multiplier, a multiply-on-loss strategy seems more appropriate.
