If i set up one of these "pools", pointed two individual farms at SPR from the same house, would i be a "pool" operator on the SPR network?

So quick question about the price..... If apparently it is costing people around 50k for mining and with the introduction of masternodes people are estimating that the price for mining would then be 71k a coin then why are there still people dumping this coin or suppressing the price? I mean I'm not complaining because that's more and more cheap SpreadCoin for me But I'm just kind of lost as to why people would sell their coins for less than they cost to apparently mine? If someone could maybe shine some light on this for me that would be greatly appreciated Cheers Where are you getting the idea that it costs people 50k sats to mine one SPR? I just read previous posts in the thread where people were saying that it was costing 50k to mine SpreadCoin for them and I was asking how they came up with those numbers and never really got a straight answer because I thought how could someone figure out what it is costing to mine this coin? I'm very Noobish to the whole mining concept so was hoping someone could explain to me how to figure out what mining costs for this coin is and how that could be figured out? If you're a miner you can just add up how many coins you mine over a month, and then look at your energy bill to mine those coins. So 100 SPR mined cost me $20, this would make "your" mining cost $0.20 per SPR.

These numbers are pulled straight out of my arse but are maybe in the right ballpark: Average rig of 5 * 750 Ti cards gets you 7.5MH/s @ 300W, and about 2 blocks/day ~12 SPR/day Electricity @ $0.20 / kW/h (it's probably higher than this in most of W Europe) so 0.3 kW * 24hrs * £0.20 = $1.44/day 12 SPR cost $1.44 to mine so $0.12/SPR which at $230/BTC = 0.00052 BTC per mined SPR. My arifmatik is terrible though... Sounds about right too me. What would the mining cost's be if SPR's hashrate was 8Gh (10% of darkcoins hashrate)?

Simple as that. lots of people that sells last few days that get into spread early not by mining (some of my friends) they all get into UNB, fast money im still undecided buy more spread now or go there 2 You go get your "fast money".

None of you are thinking aggressively enough... I WILL BUY EVERY SPREADCOIN IN EXISTENCE AND OWN EVERY MASTERNODE. How is that? Your going to be short a few thousand... :p

Doesn't matter if you're giving away bearshit, you can't give away things even if they worthless. The reason is because it spams up the forum with useless posts of people claiming said giveaways. You should have set up a faucet website off forum that gave away testcoins. In this context, the term 'giveaway' is not applicable. They are testing. They are enabling people to test. People can't participate in testing without access to the test coins. Anyway, they have set-up an alternative method for distributing test coins. So why not reinstate the main devs account so they can carry on testing? The 'spam' is off the forum. This is no longer about the test coins. It's about the dev being able to communicate with his community. Rabble rabble!

You should have set up a faucet website off forum that gave away testcoins. We already have. All this is a big misunderstanding. This was not done deliberately by Mr. Spread. So I would really appreciate it, if you could remove his ban, because this was never intended and will not happen again. spreadcointalk.org will have to do

and so spread has masternodes. waaay to gooo just centralize a coin focusing on decentralisation jeeesus christ. but hey. good luck to you all.
These don't rely on reference masternodes like DRK does - anyone with the funds will be able to set one up, and they will each be equal. aand how much fund would it require to own 51% of masternodes again? Currently around 800,000 SPR. Accumulating that amount is unrealistic.

Omg, please unban Mr.Spread!

BUG
Here is a screen from one of my computers:
I only setup 1 masternode on this computer (the 211). The other masternode was automatically created when I sent 119 coins from my other computer that had an active masternode on it.
Mr. Spread, on my other computer, when you sent the 1000 coins, it automatically created a masternode as well.
I also have this problem.

Ok, so i created new address in the same wallet and sent 100.5 to each. All masternodes are now live on the network. Is that normal?
Is it going to be this easy to set up once we are on mainnet?
Amazing, isn't it? Depending on the size of the network you are presumably going to run out of bandwidth (especially upload bandwidth on a domestic connection) at some point. Yeh, thats true. I have something like 60Mb download / 15Mb upload internet connection. Would those speeds help me out?

Little tip, when sending coins from a MN wallet, make sure to not send coins that make up your MN. Instead, click "settings" "options" "display" and tick the "display coin control features (experts only)".
Exit options.
Now click the send tab in your wallet. There should be a coin control features box. Click "inputs" "list mode" and select coins that do not make up your MN.
If your masternode is running then corresponding output is locked to prevent accidentally spending it. Is that different to darkcoin? I thought you could use coins from your masternode balance? Great if you fixed that!

Do MN with higher coin deposit get any advantages?
Once 1000 MN are reached, it becomes competitive. Lowest MN gets kicked off. So the more SPR you have, the less likely you get booted. How about payout? If your masternode is selected, you will receive 30% of the block reward.

Oh, another bought account coming to FUD it up so they can get cheap coins.
not bought, that's a newbie... they don't even care to buy accounts anymore (spent all their money dumping SPR yesterday) I'm 100% it's someone from Darkcoin... I'm not saying who i really think though. 1 block every 10 seconds on testnet!!! I'm going to be rich
