1121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dangerous chasing losses on: October 26, 2023, 11:30:18 AM

Lastly, I deposit 1800$ to have a better bankroll again, This time I’m betting like a high roller and lucky manage to recover my losses and bag 150$ profit.

Conclusion: I will never gamble again when I’m bored or chase loss small amount. With this exhilarating experience. I think I will stop gambling for a long time and reflec on what dumb thing I do today.

You're lucky to have regained your losses and even made a profit, I was not lucky when I tried to chase my losses I lost 80% of the staking token I'd used for additional earnings, it really hurts and that made me stop gambling for a while.

Chasing your losses is a high risk you could lose a lot of money, you have to control your ego and moderate your greed you must create a line where you need to stop, our ego is our greatest enemy and we are blinded by reasoning all we know is we have a chance to regain our losses so we keep going on.

If you experience losing a lot of money from chasing your losses, you will experience guilt feeling that will lead to depression and that's exactly what happened to me.

1122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: He Used Our Wedding Savings to Play Bet on: October 26, 2023, 09:32:42 AM
Her life will be in total misery if he marries this guy, this guy is a compulsive gambler, he doesn't care about his bride's feelings, and it's better for the lady to cool off the wedding and only talk about the wedding if he is totally cured.

Compulsive gamblers like the guy in the description should not have a family, they will spend more time in casinos and spend all their money betting, if that lady is a friend I will ask her to just break the guy, and if he wants her back he must show first that he is totally cured from his addiction.

The worst thing that can happen to a woman is getting married to a compulsive gambler, the marriage will eventually end in divorce and he will continue to hurt her feelings, there are many straight and clean guys so it is better to look for a man who take care of her and not spend her money or love gambling more than he loves her.
1123  Other / Archival / Re: CEO of Stake.com (Eddie Craven) Found Decapitated In Home on: October 25, 2023, 11:24:00 PM
Eddie has a lot of haters and these people have to stoop down this level just to defame Eddie, the article was taken down maybe by the author or by Medium management I have the suspicion that OP has something to do with it, checking his account he only join this forum just to post this link and pretend that he stumbles it online, he could have checked and verify in the internet if there's a piece of news like this because Stake is a big gambling platform popular casino news aggregator will cover and verify this.
If the article was not taken down, the Stake law office could trace and charge the guy it's possible to trace this fake news creator.

1125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cos Coin - Is this a Pyramid Scheme or something..? on: October 25, 2023, 03:20:12 PM
I've got a contact who's very excited about "cos coin", he wanted me to check it out, but it looks very suspect to me:

https://www.cosetek.com/

I can't get much clarity on how it works or what it's supposed to do. Does anyone know any more? He says you have to pay to join and those who sign other users up get payed as a reward, which imediatly rings alarm bells.

Looks suspicious to me, looks like a combination of MLM and Ponzi Scheme

Invite subordinates to recharge 100 USDT and above for the first time, you will get 8 USDT reward, the reward is automatically issued by the system.
Invite your subordinates to register, your subordinates will get 3 USDT reward, the reward is automatically issued by the system.

The last platform I encountered with this feature was the Mavrodi system it's a donation-based system where you get a portion of your inviter investment this platform deserves to be in the scam section, it's deceptive there's no usage by that will add value to the community, you have to warn your contact on the dangers of investing in this kind of platform, yes its addictive to invite people because of the reward but once no more people coming in those that are late in investing will eventually lose their money.

1128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk - December or January in Saudi Arabia on: October 25, 2023, 12:53:39 PM

I can't remember, but I read the Usyk is somewhat injured right now, so there is a big possibility that the Usyk vs Fury might push for next year. But still, Usyk said that he is willing to fight so for sure this fight is going to push through.
Yes, he admitted that he suffered an injury from his last fight against Dubois but it's an old injury that needs to be healed, old boxers have these injuries it's not a big injury but it keeps coming back after every fight, I think he's been fighting with this injury, he did not elaborate further, its actually a good strategy for Fury not to take him seriously, its a mind game strategy employ by every boxers when there's a big fight coming and a Fury fight is the big fight of his career.

Quote
And yes, I don't see Francis putting up a massive upset on Tyson here. It's good that we see promotions in this fight. But it will take Francis to be lucky to hit Tyson and knock him out for good. That is the only way he can win this fight, with a knockout. But Tyson Fury is also a defensive boxer so I doubt that Francis can land his signature power punch just like he did in UFC.
I don't rule out an upset, upset can happen to any boxer even the greatest boxers suffered an upset, I'm comfortable that Fury will win because he has a huge advantage in terms of power and ring generalship but if he relaxes and takes Ngannou for granted he can be hit by a phantom punch or a lucky punch.
Only 5 days to go and the excitement is going I'm sure the weigh-in and the fight will be a big hit.
1129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Just like visiting a cinema on: October 25, 2023, 12:22:04 PM
Why not treat casinos the same ways like you are going to the movies or bowling? You are simply paying for the experience and the entertainment, it's either you enjoy it or you may not, can you feel me? You don't know how bad a movie can be until you watched it, so....
You cannot compare gambling to watching cinema because by gambling you have a chance to make money, even though both can give you entertainment, on gambling, there is money involved and a chance to make a profit from your bets, this is the reason why gambling is addictive, especially for gamblers who once tasted how to win big money in gambling.

Quote
If you want your life to goes on with ease, learn to be a fun gambler and not too dependent on gambling, this is what gets people f**ked, the reality of gambling is you win when it's not even expected, be a responsible gambler.
We all want to be responsible gamblers, but the temptation is just too high and we extend our hours and bet more, once we experience how to win a big amount of money we will always take a chance to make more money until we develop the addiction, we're not only going for the money we are also going for the feeling as well, the feeling of satisfaction this is the dopamine effect of playing longer hours in gambling.
1130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk - December or January in Saudi Arabia on: October 24, 2023, 04:23:42 PM
Am also thinking with you that the Fury fight with Ngannou will be derailed. It is going to be an upset against the wish of bookmakers. How do we think that betting companies will allow Fury win it when it is obvious that many people will bet for him to win. It is going to be a very very easy way to win bets if that is allowed. Also since the bout is not a belt title fight and will not cause Fury anything he will not throw in all his strength to it so he does not sustain major injury that can weaken him against Usyk in a mouth watery titled fight of the century.

Am not going to bet on Fury to win. I will only watch it like WWE and its entertainment.

Not really sure what angle you’re coming from here. Even Usyk commented, "I’m 100% sure that Tyson Fury will be victorious."

https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/boxing/oleksandr-usyk-fury-ngannou-prediction-31260470

I agree with Usyk's assessment of the fight Fury always comes to fight he never holds back It is an understatement to say that Fury will not throw all his strength this is not a wrestling show it is boxing and boxers are trained to throw haymakers, when a boxer is hurt he will not hold back, there's no way Fury will think that I have a fight coming this January and I have to conserve my energy and not to take risk lest I get injured and the fight will be cancel.

When boxers are inside the ring they have to protect themselves at all times and they have to engage I expect Fury to give his best shot and knock out Ngannou
coming from Usyk
Quote
Tell me how could the guy with no experience in boxing beat a giant who’s been in boxing for 20 years?
I also have the same question.

It's a big embarrassment for Fury if Ngannou beats him in his game, boxing is his territory he knows everything on it and he knows how to pace himself 20 years is such a long experience for you to have a huge advantage for a guy who is just take up boxing and learning it in a few months
1131  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Stacker.news a website where posts are ranked with bitcoin instead of upvotes ! on: October 24, 2023, 03:12:52 PM
I think the idea are flawed...

So, rich people will control the quality or whatever content that are posted? Is that not what are happening with mass media today, where super rich people own large amounts of shares in media companies and thus control the content that are pushed through that media...?
That's true it can be manipulated to promote a platform, you have two accounts and one of your accounts will be used to write an article about one platform, and the other one will use his sats to rank the article in the network thereby gaining more readers and followers on that platform it works like an advertising network because you are paying to advertise.

Quote
Yes, I understand the goal is not to give rich people the control to censor content, but rather to improve the quality of the content that are posted, but it is unfortunately one of the disadvantages of a "quality control" system like that.  Sad
Not everyone can vote by paying and not all the best articles are ranked up because they are competing against manipulative advertisers on that platform, this is why its not gaining enough support compared to Medium and PublishOx.
1132  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: $6,000 Stuck on Bitsar.com Exchange. Offering 30% reward for recovery on: October 24, 2023, 02:23:53 PM

It's like the exchange was abandoned by the owner. Bitsar doesn't update the social media or login on the Bitcointalk forum.

The $6,000 is now worth ~$9,000...  Undecided

I want to increase reward to 50% if anybody can contact this exchange owner

I wonder how long are you going to wait before you marked it scam, next month the price could go higher and the reward is increase, since you posted here in the scam section you should follow the right format, you're like begging for your money, all their accounts are unattended this is a bad sign, they could be are freezing big withdrawals and will do an exit scam.
Anyway I wish you success in reaching out to the owners of Bitsar, there's a possibility that they've received your emails but choose to ignore it.
1133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling Generally An Illicit Activity? on: October 24, 2023, 09:07:54 AM

Wikipedia did not mention gambling being an illicit activity in their definition of gambling here, why then did they mention gambling as one of illicit activity through which money laundering can be carried out?

Please check this out and share your thoughts.

That's Wikipedia's definition but not in countries where they define it as illegal activity, when it comes to gambling it is the government that will define it not an online version of Encyclopedia.

Dont just believe Wikipedia because not all that are presented here are proven facts, you can actually edit or request to edit entries here

1134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thurman Vs Stanionis WBA world welterweight December 9 on: October 24, 2023, 08:20:36 AM
^^ Wow, so Danny Garcia also moved up in weight already and now going to fight Lara? Going to be very close as Danny has a great left hook and very sound fundamentally. But I'm surprised how Lara is still in this game, lol, no offense to him but I thought that he has retired already. But during his prime, he fought Canelo Alvarez and there are analyst who says that Lara schooled Canelo that time.

So with that, I think I will go with Garcia, he is still fresh, but Lara might give him a hard fight early as he is a southpaw and has great foot work. But in the middle rounds, I'm seeing Lara getting tired from all the movements and Garcia going to catch up with him in spurts and maybe hit him with his signature left hook knocking down Lara.

This is a very interesting fight to watch I'd like to see if Garcia can bring his power to the middleweight, he has a better chance here than in the welterweight category, Crawford is unbeatable in that division so no way he can have a chance in that division, whereas in the middleweight he has a chance and here is his chance against Lara.

Lara is the current champion in the WBA but I consider him a weak champion compared to other champions in that division, ALIMKHANULY and CHARLO if Garcia carries his power and speed against Lara he has a better champion, but it's hard to take Lara for granted he is the current champion and has fought great fighters the most prominent Canelo.

1135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake casino streamers! Why such streamers are very popular? on: October 23, 2023, 02:42:43 PM

The reason why they are so popular is, imo, a very well elaborated plan and design by their sponsors, and effective execution thanks to the resources that they have available. It's sad that many good professionals will desist early because the rules of the game are not the same for everyone.

There are big of money to be made from casino streaming so there are well-coordinated and elaborated plans to make things look real, It is already an open secret among old-timers here in the industry, we all know casinos pay people who will give them the most players and people love to watch live streams.

I'm not a fan of streamers, I already know that they are fake streamers before watching one and they are so good in their acting it's well-rehearsed and if you don't know the truth about this stuff you will end up saying, I need to play in that casino I could win that big amount or maybe even more.
1136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do your parents know about your gambling habit ? on: October 23, 2023, 01:03:43 PM
Even though I don't live with my parents they are aware of it, since I've been gambling even when I was a teenager, and I am also open with my father about it, and there are times that I would tell him how I gamble back then.

Your parents are liberal-minded, it's hard for parents to accept that their children are gambling and they are very open because they know the risks associated with gambling, even if they told their parents that they are responsible gamblers, the parents will still worry, I am a parent and I don't want my children to be too involved in gambling especially if they have a family.
If you come to raise your family you should minimize or limit your openness to your parent, they will be worried if your wife quarrels with you because of gambling so for them to stop worrying it's better to limit your openness.
1137  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coins.ph hacked, $6 million lost? on: October 23, 2023, 12:10:20 PM

They have responded, but the reply wasn't entirely satisfying, as it seemed like an automated message assuring the safety of funds. Therefore, it's a matter of personal choice whether to trust their response or engage in speculation. Ultimately, it's up to us how we approach this matter.

We all know people don't want an automated response when it comes to exchanges where they are trading, and these kinds of responses will make the users think that something is not right, since it was not covered by mainstream media they think that the majority of users are not aware of it so they prefer not to announce so there will be no panic.

But if they see that there are requests or demands for transparency they will yield to their users, their competitors are improving so they should value their users' opinions.
1138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice on: October 23, 2023, 09:13:59 AM
Hi everyone

I just need some advice. Huh

I run a small business and have customers who want to pay in TruefreedomCoins (TFC)

I'm searching everywhere but can find a way to get it to pay out.

Is there anyone who has experience who can assist.

If it's not tradeable and there is no information about this shitcoin, deny their payment and only go for Bitcoin or other top coins in the market, the market is highly volatile, and accepting unknown coins with no potential is a bad idea you will lose your investment.

These people want to dump their shitcoin or in short, they just want to scam you, for a businessman or entrepreneur like you, you should ignore coins that are not in the top 10 the market is highly volatile, and first to lose its value are shitcoin like this TruefreedomCoins (TFC)
1139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Changed the game you gamble on? share your story. on: October 23, 2023, 08:40:03 AM
Is it the game you started playing as a gambler that you still play till now? Is there any gambler in this place who was used to playing a particular game before but never was successful winning or did not win enough and then made up their mind that it was time for a change in the game you gamble on. Which game did you change from, and what did you change to? how long did you play the game that you are deciding to stop playing because of the bad outcomes?

Mine was from Crash games to dice, I lost a lot of money before I realized that I had to look for other games that I could also enjoy and at the same time had a chance of winning so I could maintain my bankroll and extend my session.

And that's a good decision on my part, sometimes losing a lot or having a long losing streak is not good, we know that there is such a thing as a house edge but not to the point that you will have a long stretch of losing.

Playing is good and fun but it will take out the fun if you feel that you are so unlucky that you cannot come out even with a single win and that's something I felt when I concentrate on playing Crash only.
1140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Inspiring Projects Shaping the Future on: October 22, 2023, 03:09:38 PM
I have a strong interest in innovation, pushing the limit of what is possible, and perhaps what the future holds. Regarding promoting gender diversity and inclusivity, I would definitely like to see more. I'm quite curious in the projects you come across where the use of cryptocurrencies has broken new grounds and motivated people to think outside the box. Which of the projects you've seen has inspired you the most and helped others to see and think beyond existing limitations?

For me, it's Bitcoin, everything you've mentioned is on Bitcoin, Bitcoin inspired people and think beyond existing limitations, all these altcoins are just trying to duplicate what Bitcoin achieved whenever you see new projects coming in, it always reminds us of Bitcoin, actually we don't need many altcoins in the market, its only goal is to make the developers rich and for early investors to make a profit.
We only need Bitcoin because it's the perfect Cryptocurrency, so many new coins that come in promoting themselves better than Bitcoin but where are they now, they all end up as shitcoin.
