Getting excited because there will be alot of promotions accross most gambling site around here lol. Sportsbet might even give us some special bets again with decent odds again

Anyway, I had my worst day today so far over the course of 90+ days of live hero contest. I lost 1.8 mbtc today but as usual I tried to martingale my way back in the freebet BJ but ended up losing 14.8 mbtc after martingale lol. On top of that, the next round was a win for the player and I chose not to continue my martingale lol FML

So yeah a total of 28 mbtc loss for me so far, I think Im going to make it till the last day but if I am lucky then I might end up only with break even lol

Oh I am so sorry to hear about that,,, are you still playing Blackjack a lot now I thought most of us already moved to roulette. I know all about martingale bad luck and choosing not to go the final round and seeing it hit,,, it is like you pay because you took a lot of risk but not the biggest risk;)

I did not keep track of my mbtc loss I wonder if there is an easy way to see your live bet history since Day 1?
1122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Only invest an amount you can afford to lose" on: December 17, 2021, 06:50:41 AM
Trust me, these guys will go into Defi and NFT in the exact same way,,, not just because it is crypto but because it is promising them easy money. If something bigger and more lucrative (in their thoughts) than crypto, they'll go there.
At least, if they can control their greediness, that thing will not happen and they will have a chance to make money. Whether they trade in crypto or stocks or gold or silver, controlling the greediness will be necessary and the important thing if you want to make a profit. Otherwise, you will only lose your money and once you lose the money, it will not be easy to recover and it could need long before you can recover the money.

Yes,,, that was my whole point. This greed thing has nothing to do with "because it is crypto",,, take all these greedy guys and put them in a room with 10 toys and they will choose the ones that supposedly promise them the most profit.

So I think people need to stop associating crypto trading with high risk speculators as these guys go everywhere, and they don't even use crypto.

@Leea1334 Yes, The risk is in all types of investments and one should invest only the amount he can afford to lose. In the case of crypto there are many people who have not yet accepted crypto as a trading asset. And maybe because of this lack of acceptance they find crypto more risky.

You cannot be not accepting crypto as a trading asset and yet be buying and selling crypto? And crypto IS more risky,,, whether you accept it or not Smiley

I have no idea what is going to happen to my club but now I see that Superbru asked me to add in 4 games in upcoming few days,,, so make sure guys you do it, and Spurs versus Liverpool is the next game for me.

The odds are surprisingly good at 4x even though supposedly we have many 1st team players out, so if you guys want a good value, bet against my team  Embarrassed
1124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the fundamental goal of bitcoin on: December 16, 2021, 03:35:57 PM
But why are we asking a question and providing an answer none of which is in the Bitcoin whitepaper?

I always thought the fundamental goal of Bitcoin was to have a peer to peer digital currency that would solve the double spend problem Wink

Well of course that is simplistic to say but is not a fundamental goal supposed to be simplistic?

I think we have 20 like three times recently and I swore I thought I posted the earlier Blackjack today it was #342 (Chelsea v Everton) but I guess I must have pressed submit but did not go through...

I did not see until now posting the next game:

Soccer Blackjack #343: Liverpool v Newcastle United

1126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin Dead??? on: December 16, 2021, 07:43:02 AM
I was actually quite surprised to see Doge shoot up 35% 2 days ago (or was it 3 days ago whichever) and this was in terms of BTC price,,, not dollar which I guess would have been even more?

And then everything came back again and it looks headed down as usual.

If people still are not convinced about the fate of memecoins,,, I have no idea what will.
1127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 16, 2021, 07:04:17 AM
I rememeber when the first game was called off I was telling my friends it is not just going to be our problem (Spurs). Now we have 2 games postponed, a Conference League game which will most likely end up as a penalty 3-0 loss,,, and apparently Conte says now Premier League rejected his request to postpone another game.

So the scenario is become that we will be forced to play with very young people.

I fear for the worse for my team Sad
1128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Only invest an amount you can afford to lose" on: December 16, 2021, 05:55:45 AM
It is not something unique to crypto though,,, the adage is something applied to every single investment and in fact if you read every contract that you sign with an investment (traditional like bonds or stocks) there is even the same line of advice there.

People think this risk is only in crypto but it is in EVERY investment,,, never forget this and recall it whenever you see someone claim to guarantee profits.
I agree with you. But most people forget about that because they have greediness, especially if they see they can make a big profit from crypto, which is happening to many people. If they can remember that the risk will always be there in any investment and be careful when they put their money in the investment, they will not break that and will enjoy their profit while controlling their greediness. So the adage will always work in any investment and we need to calculate the money you will be using for the investment.

But that greed is really less about being crypto and more about them making money. They would act exactly the same if they were trading stocks or gold or silver,,, same way, using maximum leverage and using maximum loans if they could.

Trust me, these guys will go into Defi and NFT in the exact same way,,, not just because it is crypto but because it is promising them easy money. If something bigger and more lucrative (in their thoughts) than crypto, they'll go there.
1129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Only invest an amount you can afford to lose" on: December 15, 2021, 12:03:21 PM
I always suggest "Only invest an amount you can afford to lose" for those who want to join in crypto investment because the risk of losing the money value will always be there and I do not think people are ready with that. People must know about this before deciding to use their money to invest in crypto. Without knowing about the price fluctuation, they can panic when they see the price jump down drastically. But unfortunately, people join in the investment because of the trend and not because they search for more info that the investment can help them make a profit.

I got the freebet also (0.25mbtc) so now I know what it is for, the daily present Smiley I think next time they must have a calendar sort of box for you to see how far you have for progress in each and a tick next to each box when they deliver the present.

Or a claim box for us to claim it anyway may be the easiest,,, as currently also I am a little confused.

Who celebrates Christmas here, are you all getting excited? Smiley Covid is making things look problematic again but I work anyway holidays to get triple pay,,, As long as it does not interfere with my Sportsbet access Grin
1131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 15, 2021, 10:04:41 AM
CasperBGD spot on that City thrashes Leeds,,, and Trofo spot on for City clean sheet!

I guess even those of us who predicted an upset are not surprised however,,, because it really does seem like Leeds always plays like this against opponents who can score, but the problem is they could not crack the defence open and City is not known to have the best in the world.

Not they lead the league by 4 points and of course others have game in hand but you know how it is to play catch up Smiley

1134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to buy BNB at the right time? on: December 15, 2021, 08:03:45 AM
All that is a pure psychological number. Looking at where BNB is and the utility in defi and NFT,,, yes I guess you could say that it is headed for more gains but the overall crypto market is strictly bearish right now. Everything still relies on whether or not BTC recovers for another ATH. If so,,, then BNB to 1k is a good path.
1k$ bnb is the hope of all holders and now bnb is going downin real-time. Binance Coin is down 4.26% in the last 24 hours. CoinMarketCap's current rating is #3, with an immediate market cap of $87,623,664,647 USDso i conclude buying now and holding it is the most promising thing because the next BNB will probably be ranked number 2 after BTC

Duh we can all see that it is going down,,, as I said already in my post the market seems very bearish at the moment and it has been for most of the month ever since it came down from ATH in November.

But every time someone like you posts about "conclude to buy and hold because it is most promising and will be ranked #2" about any coin I lose hope that the crypto people will ever have common sense.
1135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 15, 2021, 06:20:40 AM
According to EPL it is now a record high of Covid cases among league clubs including players and staff.

My own team is already in danger. We lost Conference League participation because of this,,, and already we have 2 games postponed. If it gets worse maybe they will force us to play with reserve squad in which case we say goodbye to 6 points.
Will we ever have that no mask, no distance, no worries, no vaccination days of the old again? Will we ever go back to normal? I am not entirely sure after this one, and it is scary for all kinds of entertainment including EPL and football and other leagues.

Oh I did not know American games in USA are also all postponed,,, or some called off I mean to say. I remember they introduced bubbles last year right?

And do not worry,,, things will return to normal after some years.

In Asia we had SARS and Avian Flu when I was much younger and also we had all of this problems and quarantine and mask wearing and hand washing,,, people just forgot how it was and stopped doing all of those things. It seems only scarier now because of social media and because the West never went through it (not that I am saying Covid is less dangerous but the extra fear and misinformation is on an extreme level).
1136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian Prime Minister Promoting Bitcoins Giveaway on: December 14, 2021, 12:38:03 PM
If you're Indian and you actually believed that,,, then well,,, you do not know your country like I do  Tongue

Anyway, this Twitter getting hacked for Bitcoin scams is getting really old. And strangely enough,,, people still fall for them. And to think that if you are on Twitter it means probably you are educated and middle class.

I guess there is no education for greed Smiley
1137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to buy BNB at the right time? on: December 14, 2021, 12:04:58 PM
this is the right time as the price still not crossing 1,000$ because once this meet that high you cannot find chance to buy again in something like now in which 50% discounted as the price stablished at 500$.

Hey guys, I just figured out where my USDT freebets were coming from, if you remember I mentioned I got $10, and the next day I got $50?

This is from the 4-3-free promotions, where you get paid $10 freebet for 3/4 picks and $50 for 4/4 picks. I just realized after putting in my picks for the next game and checking my old scores,,, so never forget this is where you can get free money every week Smiley

Waiting for the $100,000 USDT  Grin
1139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 14, 2021, 09:28:39 AM
It looks like there is another covid-19 outbreak among Manchester United players this time. Because of this situation, the Brentford - Manchester United game today has been postponed to an uncertain date. I wonder whether this case will be the same as Tottenham's. I hope that the players of Manchester United and Tottenham both get well soon. Then, I will only watch the Manchester City - Leeds game today. And I'm thinking of betting on both teams to score after witnessing Leeds' great performance against Chelsea.

Thank you! I know it's irrational, but for some reason I feel better now. Smiley

I always feel better for missing busts and "no-blackjacks" also,,, I guess we are all irrational here. In fact, the profits for this thread is also irrational but such is the way gods of gambling smile on us Smiley

We didn't have blackjack for quite some time now, so I have high expectations for AS Roma v Spezia and several upcoming games.

And guess what Roma-Spezia was 20 points, but Spezia had one goal ruled offside from VAR after a few minutes checking. This was supposed to be our much expected 21 Smiley
