1141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: June 08, 2023, 12:30:07 PM
Quite unfair, isn't it? Grin
Anyway, it is what it is because America's closest allied countries are really granted with an almost easy access since then. That said, they will have the most advantage in this event because they will not be having any troubles in entering towards US soil compared to other people especially if they came from a 3rd world country, but there should be no problems at all to watch this event as long as they have the correct requirements and completed every check that they placed before you will be granted an access.
That is probably the only major problem people will face during the next world cup, the US is very strict with its policies and getting a visa will probably get harder as they will probably receive millions of applications to watch the games live, I suppose that for soccer fans one of the basic requirements to get a visa to watch the games will be to have bought a ticket already and have a place to stay, still it would not surprise me if under those conditions many people were still denied entry and they will fail to make it to the world cup.

wait, so the next world cup will take place in the US?
crazy stuff didn't expect it

don't you think they'd be at least a bit more open on the visa thing for people going to the event?

~snip~
maybe I didn't express myself well
I know each slot machine roll is independent
what I meant was if the odds of winning got smaller over time, like if someone changed the programming from 5 years ago to make it harder

I wonder if there are ways to "hack" the machines too, that would be cool to see.

In the physical world we have seen that Lotto and similar "casinos" have been changed over the years to make it more difficult to win, while also increasing its price.

The same has happened in the casinos, for example with the introduction of the 00 alongside the 0 in the roulette, making it effectively more difficult to win.

I would assume that the same has happened online, that slot machines get harder to win over time when they redesign them.

oh this is probably a trend on the online world since changing a parameter in code is much easier than changing things in the physical world
I'd bet on it.

of course they still need good enough odds so people keep playing and don't give up

hope and more hope...

wishing that team and our manager will consider bringing i back.
The team has its own marketing plans and plan such events according to that but it was good guessing game for all of us but the Roobet team has organised many events like art contest and promotion on twitter alongside it.But maybe they can again launch it if they find it suitable again.
Those are great contest before with Roobet but I think they stopped it because they already achieve their goal and they focus on other marketing option to continue promote the site, and yes Roobet have the best marketing team that knows what to do. Right now, they are focusing here for their signature campaign and the art contest, these two are still doing great. Let’s just hope for more marketing campaign here in the forum or if you missed a lot, try to follow their twitter account as they are posting more options there.

I agree with you in that they are truly doing their best with the marketing with the help of this forum. They have a successful signature campaign on this forum and they run their Art contests in each season. I love their art contests because they give equal rights to all the users of the forum.

I'm sure that they will invest more in promotions in coming days and there will be more art contests from Roobet team. I have joined their site because of an Art contest on this forum, but once I reached their site, I just loved it and I started using the site as a fun activity. The version of crash is truly innovative and it's very addictive at the same time.

yes, it's amazing they're running the signature campaign for more than 100 weeks now
same with duelbits
so cool
I hope they stay around

any idea of how many roobet art contests there are each year? like 7?

1145  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Bitcoin Rain: Mercado Bitcoin é condenado a pagar R$ 300 milhões. on: June 07, 2023, 11:51:01 AM

O Bilhete é premiado no sorteio.

1146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: June 07, 2023, 11:23:31 AM
85 year old Grandma knows where its at, experience beats enthusiasm.  Most people quit but clearly an 85 year old has the gravitas to know just how long it takes to win.   The slots have changed over the years some, its possible your grandma had benefited from seeing all the various aspects to the games.  The cycle theory to wins etc.   I've mentioned before one of the craftiest players I saw was a bar man who would hop on machines after people quit having put in alot of money but won little.  He no doubt considered it a job bonus, literally he is there for 12 hours a day and is forced to watch the full cycle of win/loss and I think this gives the perspective to win; my theory.

haha haven't thought about that before
do you think casino odds are changing over the decades and starting to get harder? or at least different

well, buying a house is definitely harder now than it was for our grandparents due to inflation and the difference in real wages / buying power.
There is no relationship at all with how much a slot machine has already paid off and the chances you have to win, if this was true then no sane gambler will want to become scapegoat and try the slot machines before anyone else, besides each event on the slot machines is independent and the machine does not remember what happened on the past, unlike other games like poker in which once a card is dealt that card cannot be dealt again to other players until the current round ends.

maybe I didn't express myself well
I know each slot machine roll is independent
what I meant was if the odds of winning got smaller over time, like if someone changed the programming from 5 years ago to make it harder

I wonder if there are ways to "hack" the machines too, that would be cool to see.

~snip~
what do you think of the current talks about AI regulation by governments? do you think governments will be able to adapt fast enough?

and possible risks for humanity? too much alarm or real risk?

really curious about these questions
I don't really have answers, more like guesses

the way for me seems like we should join the machines, not fight them.

One of the main issues I see currently is the spread of fake news everywhere.

You cannot trust a photograph any more, and video is almost at the same level.

Basically you can generate any kind of photographic evidence, and a text to go along with it, all made up, and publish it anywhere. People believe any type of thing they read. That's the main issue currently.

definitely that's a big issue
that's why I don't thing democracies will survive much longer, probably in next 2 or 3 elections in most countries the politicians elected will be the ones that know how to use AI in their favor
for better or for worse
what do you think?
1148  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: June 07, 2023, 11:02:18 AM
with almost 300 million remaining wager ? yes it stopped in June 30 2021 specifically .

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5346284.20

wishing that team and our manager will consider bringing i back.
Aside from this, anyone remember the guess the slot contest? That's pretty cool too. I remember joining on this contest and only managed to won once. The other users are so good in guessing the slot. The price is also generous similar to guess the total wager. I miss these contests of them.

But anyway, Roobet is already an established casino. So even without these contests, the fact remains that they're reputable and well known to many gamblers here.
Remember this game and it makes people to see the whole game around roobet since the clue is unclear and it make the participant to see the every details of games which benefit to roobet since it simply make those people aware that those games exist.

Might be good is roobet will launch back this game since this is one of exciting game they open up here then for sure many people will remember this and again join the fun since its exciting to find up the whole pic base on the clue given.
Many users here are looking forward for Roobet to launch back these contests again but I think they have reasons why they already stop the contest. Maybe because they are already satisfied with the result of those promotions. Anyway they still have sig campaigns and of course the consistent art contest with generous prizes as well. It's good see the artworks of our talented artists here on the forum. The latest contest has no winners yet so i'm excited to know who are the winners this time.

Maybe they stop it because they already have enough with this and find another alternative so that they have new to offer on their community. But if many will request to return back this type of game maybe they consider this, Roobet listen to what community suggest them to do so if they find something interesting base on the demand maybe they let this request granted and make those people following them enjoy with their contest release.

I wonder how roobet organizes internally in terms of teams and marketing
anyone knows how many people work in the company?

would be interesting to know the data, just curious
1149  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: June 06, 2023, 03:59:35 PM
But these bots will partake in anything that they can as long as the requirements are too easy for them to join.
That's why I said that these bot accounts take part in normal giveaways which have no requirements like simple like and retweet for small amounts but there are promotions from the team with wagering requirements also like get bonus codes or freespins with 1x wagering or more and big events see how much you deposit etc which these bots account avoid. But yes we see lot of them participating in Twitter giveaways about which we can't do anything.

having a mix of easy promotions where there'll be bots and more complex one (art contest, gleam stuff with many stages, etc...) may be the way for them
thinking as a company too it's what I mentioned before
a mix of having enough engagement without undermining trust.
1150  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Carteira de criptomoedas Atomic é hackeada e usuários perdem tudo on: June 06, 2023, 11:57:17 AM

good to remember that Santos was the first home for many bigger players that ended up in the official Brazilian team, like Robinho and some others that I'm probably forgetting about

The most famous are Pelé, Neymar and Robinho.
But there's a lot of excellent players, like Paulo Henrique Ganso (Fluminense), Gabigol (Flamengo), Rodrygo (Real Madrid)...

yes, that, there are even more quite famous ones like
Kaká, Ronaldo and Ronaldinho Gaúcho (probably almost as famous as Pelé abroad), Zico and Romário.

Lots of good players born in Brazil.

It is really tempting to bet higher especially when we experienced good amount of winnings, losses and winnings often tempt us to bet more, in order to fast tract the recovery of losses and to be able to win bigger amount if we happen to be in a winning streak.
If a player is trying to recover his loss in gambling then he's on the wrong side because it's not like trading and you should treat it as entertainment source where you place bet and if lucky you can get rewards for it.But you are right on the part that sometimes the temptation to bet more is really there when we continuously loose or win to see more desired results but we should limit ourselves there.

definitely
better to approach gambling without expectations in a way that "what you win is a bonus" instead of trying to come on top everytime

thinking about it
maybe life is like that after all

1156  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: PSA: Atualize seu KeePass! Vulnerabilidade descoberta na versão < 2.54 on: June 02, 2023, 04:37:31 PM

1157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: June 02, 2023, 04:26:45 PM
Well, the thing is that an AI will be able to calculate those odds with way more precision than any human could ever do.

The key is to be able to find a way to make that process profitable, because most of the time the casinos will have their odds in their favor.
Undoubtedly, AI is a super fast computer that can calculate all the opportunities that exist quickly compared if we search for ourselves. And if we can use it to our advantage, we will surely have a chance to win. But the casinos will still get the biggest advantage because there won't be many who will use AI and only certain gamblers.

Bare in mind that AI is really just making out that kind of response basing on whats been put up into their library.Yes, it might be that getting sophisticated on the time comes but this isnt something that would really be able to deal up with something that speculative which is something that AI cant really be able to predict out. They could give out some various information but those would be basing up with facts and something that had already happened. For knowing information then it would really be that relevant but asking about on things which are still happening in the future or something that talks about gambling then it isnt really something that you could really rely on. I dont know if there are people who are making use of AI on predicting games.
Nothing beats out if you are the ones who do make out searches and make out those analysis out of those things and would be something considerable than on relying with AI.
AI will become more sophisticated than now, so it will help us get more accurate information from the data we get. But we still can't leave the decision to AI because we must decide which one we choose based on all the data we have collected. Perhaps, for now, it's still strange if some people use AI in a way that AI hasn't progressed too well. We should wait until the time comes to see what will happen to the AI that can help us in our gambles.

the interesting thing is that the day we won't be able to identify if a text was written by and AI or not, or if an image was generated by AI or not, is not so far away
exponential techonologies are awesome (and can be dangerous sometimes)

the future will be really interesting to watch and participate.
Innovation and changes is really that something inevitable but its true that it does really impose such risks and con's if it was been used on the other way around but in overall it would really be that something beneficial. There are really just that people who are really that skeptical on things on what would be the possible risks that lies ahead about AI but for now its better not to mind it off and would be focusing
about into its benefits rather than into that imposed risks.Just like on what others been saying about using it up on predicting outcomes then it would really be just that common sense that AI isnt something
that would really be good at it or would be making 100% precise predictions basing up on a certain sport or fight or whatsoever. They might be that  good when it comes to information gathering
basing up into its library and would be basing into those information on which it could be able to formulate one if it wanted or been asked.

what do you think of the current talks about AI regulation by governments? do you think governments will be able to adapt fast enough?

and possible risks for humanity? too much alarm or real risk?

really curious about these questions
I don't really have answers, more like guesses

the way for me seems like we should join the machines, not fight them.

no debate sobre direitos autorais um lado meu diria "do what you want 'cause a pirate is free"
1159  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: June 02, 2023, 04:02:53 PM
I have tested the AI and it is good at executing some sets of tasks. Besides, if you want to do something you haven't done before that involve computational activities it will provide some tip but being the end of the human race or making man lazy is what I don't know cause it's hard to predict the future and one thing I'm sure about is that the Fed's are working on some regulation that will prevent AI from ruining human race.
Having said that, AI affecting casino or gambling site activities is still a speculation by people because I haven't seen an AI that was developed to defeat the casino.

It could make you win and get you sum of money but it will be boring. Let AI analyze and play the game. And if it is to defeat the casino, then the casino will create another AI programmed to defeat that AI. So what happens will be an AI vs AI is it? Like a Terminator movie series within the gambling industry. And that's the worst, and might open other industries to do the same be it finance or industrial sector. Scary?
Grin
Yes, there's a huge chance for it to be boring and we also see the Terminator type of fight but in the current AI market, I have never seen any AI chatbot or assistant that's developed with the capacity to defeat gambling website and the only AI that are in the market are those that can be used to execute some task that has to with tech, article writing, code, image, graphic, and crypto trading execution.
Even if there's an AI that can defeat the gambling world the association of casinos and the developer will talk without or pay them not to release it.

well, if the casino game is well programmed isn't it impossible to defeat it?
The house will always have an edge and in online gambling this can be enforced using code, am I out of my mind here?
