A pretty good debut for Mount. The 2-0 win certainly made Man United happy because many young players were displayed by Ten Hag. Although Mount didn't score, he played pretty well. Although he only played 45 minutes, he was able to immediately adapt to Man United's style of play. Although Leeds is not a strong team, but Man United at least have the opportunity to try some young players. This result does not illustrate the strength of Man United, they still do not play in full team condition.
It is pre season match and Man United didn't play against a big team. So, we can understand if Ten Hag gave more opportunities for young players. Man United doesn't need to force their main squad to play. However, I was still surprised that Varane and Martinez became the starters. Leeds United didn't put their main squad, too. I think it is better to put Maguire and Lindelof as the starters.  Grin

Regarding Mount, it was enough for him to play 45 minutes. Sure, he played quite well although he didn't contribute significantly for Man United. He needs more time to adapt with Man United tactics and the characteristics of all players.

It is called friendly match because it is meant to be friendly between players and as such, aggressiveness and try so hard wouldn't matter to players, I don't think the friendly match mean something to rate the team or individual efforts and performance, it's just a regular match that if you observed, almost all the players were substituted so that many of them could have chance to display their presence in the match. Until the beginning of the season before we can something valuable about the players and their potential and that's how we are going to know if the amount are well spent on this young players.

Can you explain me why i need to learned gambling?

Simply put, here only millions of money are managed by asset owners, so where i have no money. In fact, i have ideas about gambling, but I don't have the ability to spend money there.

It's all about mindset and perspectives, when you want to carried out an activity, you put your mind and soul into it else you may not even complete it when you start it, that is how gambling works, it is not different from that because to gamble, your mind must be made up and when you make your first trial and second trial and you win something substantial, you will be encourage to come back for more and there is this fun aspect of gambling that comes with it, it becomes more fun when you keep winning and becomes emotional when you lose, that is how gambling works, it is exciting when you win and sad face when you loose but using the money you can't afford to lose will make you forget quicker than you think.

Sadio Mane's market value dropped by 45 million euros in a season since he joined Bayern Munich. I think this was really a big mistake in his career. We were watching Mane - Salah duo doing amazing things at Liverpool. Mane was one of the most crucial players for the team. He wanted a new adventure but this hasn't been going on well for now.

He made a mistake but not a mistake for making good decision on moving from Liverpool to Bayern, he made his choices and select Bayern Munich because the pay was good, the mistake I think he made was punching a fellow player which Bayern see as a lack of discipline and they decide to humble him but I think this is unacceptable and not friendly to drop someone career in the name of punishment, he apologized to the player he punched and was also suspended for a match, the punishment is enough to correct his mistake next time.

Quote
Tuchel also didn't give him many chances in the matches he managed Bayern Munich. Mane is also not very satisfied with his situation at the team now and he is an unwanted man on one hand.

I wonder how this will end for Mane. I don't feel like he will find a European team anymore. His wage is very high now.

Tuchel used him and allowed Mane to played, the only time he was not allowed to play was during that his punishment from the club and that was towards ending of the season that was why he didn't show up most of the time but if the club wish to sell him, he don't deserve this humiliation to the point of selling him less than what they bought, Mane is more than a regular player.

1144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever felt remorse after gambling? on: July 12, 2023, 10:25:37 PM
Gambling is not merely a game of winning or losing; it involves staking one's money.
Thus, there's winning and losing because it involves money.

The guy is talking as if he was force to come play, it actually involved staking of money but nobody put a gun at your neck to stake the money, the better is willing to take a risk because he knows there is chance of winning and there is also a chance of losing, there is nothing to be complaining about if indeed the player is a calculative risk taker and as bettor, if you know your ways, your winning will be more than what you staked because there is no way to gamble without any loss but with a good skill in strategies, money will be made no matter what.

Quote
Many gamblers deeply regret their losses after gambling and squandering their funds.
This is true and the reality that everyone is being set. We do know that whenever we gamble, the anticipation of winning and losing is there and mostly, we think that we're about to lose. By then, we try our best to recover our losses but that's how where our emotions are being played with by the situation. In the end, we feel bad of how we lose and why we didn't take the money when we're able.

Guilt will only come when the player have so much interest in using that money and the player used it to stake, this where the guilt comes in because when the ticket fail, anger and how to recover the money start to ring on the head and gamblers that often end in this situation become gambling addictions.
1145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: July 12, 2023, 10:02:57 PM
I don't think there will be a real fight between Mark and Elon, but if I had to place a bet, I would go for Mark just because looks like he is in better shape, but I feel like Elon's punch is stronger.

The real fight between these guys is with their social networks, the fact that Musk started the new social network called Threads is proof that the fight is on. I don't really think people will jump from Twitter to threads, the fact that all the social networks are under the control of the same person isn't good for humanity.

By physically appearance, fighters don't win a fight that way, it's experience and effort put in training that help them win a fight and by the way they stand, Mark has has strong stamina than Elon that look like someone that you can push away by a punch. Maybe you should check their respective recent pictures again, I can even see that Mark is even having 6 pack on his stomach ready for business and if we are to rate them by their trainers, I will still choose Mark because Isreal Adesanya is a true Nigeria born star that has won multiple Champions belt, I don't think learning from this kind of experienced fighters will lose in a fight.
1146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting.... on: July 12, 2023, 09:51:35 PM
Trump being a good president would be a terrible saying and anyone who says that would be kidding themselves. Trump was a terrible president but to be fair Biden has been as well and everyone knows that these are the only two options USA has, this is why I said they are going to be terrible.

At a point, Trump was becoming arrogant and rude and by his behavior, he has been one of the most hateful president ever atleast to me, he has create more horrible image to the US than other presidential candidate and for him to looking for a way to come back to Whitehouse, he has an agenda that is not yet fulfill else I believe the 4 years he had one is enough. Biden is a better president than Trump but the rise of LGBT is quite getting out hand and they are doing nothing about it, there is limitations to how freedom are supposed to be express, freedom to right doesn't mean it has to affect others.

Quote
USA has made a mistake of turning elections into a tv show, which basically is the reason why a tv show host ended up winning the election as well. I fear the day Ryan Seacrest ends up getting a nomination because that dude knows how to play an audience and he could definitely get the presidency with this logic. It's better to have a situation where they pick a career politician and for some reason they dislike that idea at this moment.

What baffled me is that they don't want to work together, the lose party always find a way to talk bad about the won party and they war continues like that but I believe Biden administration will go for another year, they still love him regardless, there is no point in re-electing a failure, there shouldn't be a second chance for a person who had a complete 4 years in office and was chanting around that everything is fake fake fake. 1147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 12, 2023, 08:43:44 PM
If PSG are really interested in Osimhen, then surely they will make an offer that Napoli will most likely find difficult to refuse. But I don't believe Osimhen is worthy of replacing Mbappe if he decides to go elsewhere. After all, Napoli really want their best striker not to go anywhere because they still need him, but of course if a team offers him a value that is hard to refuse then maybe Napoli will let him go.
Napoli basically doesn't want to release important players to clubs that aren't promising, while PSG excludes them. If I'm not mistaken, there has been a statement from Napoli that only PSG can make a fantastic offer for an Osimhen. Given that Napoli believes PSG will treat Osimhen well, especially now that the possibility of them preparing an option to replace Mbappe makes the path easier if Osimhen is interested.

PSG is trying hard to get Osimhen and has made an offer of 100 million euros to recruit him. PSG has set Victor Osimhen as a priority target to replace Kylian Mbappe. Mbappe still has 1 year remaining on his contract and it is believed that Mbappe will not extend the contract, because he is interested in Real Madrid and is likely to become part of Real Madrid after the contract with PSG ends. So a suitable replacement for PSG at the moment is Osimhen, and Manchester United are also interested in Osimhen but they can't overtake PSG because PSG has abundant finances and can seek 100 million Euros for Osimhen.

Since last week, plenty of boards are now chocked wit PSG, Mbape, Real Madrid, Haaland, Osimhen and strikers because it now seems that Real Madrid and PSG are looking for common enemy but it is not bad, everyone is looking for a way that will be ease for them. However, I think PSG and Mbape are not even helping the situation of this transfer, Mbape and PSG are both looking for a way to benefit their pocket and no club is even buying their beef, instead of them to settle amicably and reach a common ground, it has been headlines and I believe Real Madrid is not having too much interest but since they don't have a striker that is why they are still open to discussion.
1148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 12, 2023, 08:32:05 PM
Signed for 75m Euro by Napoli and now with price tag of more than 150m Euro, it's okay to see from Napoli's perspective. Yes they want to scare away few clubs for proceeding for Osimhen but I would say they also want to make a huge profit out of this. Napoli knows what kind of gem he is and it is a great opportunity for them to make around 100m Euro profit out of his transfer (if happens). It might kinda bite off them in the ass in the end if Osimhen comes with a feeling that by staying at Napoli, he is losing opportunities for even more bigger clubs. In that scenarios, Osimhen might reject contract extensions and might go for free.

As of now current scenario is that Osimhen will stay [as said by Napoli president] so I think Napoli has the leash of the situation, might change in few years though.

You're right , basically Napoli still needs Osimhen to secure the next title in Serie A and champions league but Napoli could just let him go if they get a good offer and in fact there is no club that wants to pay 150 million except for PSG , unfortunately Osimhen doesn't want to return to League1. By the way , at the moment Osimhen is the most expensive player in Serie A by market value , estimates will continue to grow if next season he still holds the title of top scorer.

If I own Napoli, I will not sell him either because it is just like training a to become Champion and decide to discard him to the enemy that will use him against you. They clearly have Champions League to fight and they still need him to achieve more Seria A title, so I don't see him goin anywhere, I hope he doesn't fuck up and disappoind the club the second year because Seria A are known to hate a player when he doesn't meet their expectation, Lukaku is an example.

on a serious note, Osimhen deserves whatever Napoli is doing to other clubs that want to sign him, been long they had good stricker like this and when he is absent in a game, it use to affect them, I am very certain that he will remain in Napoli for now till have another guy that is good as Osimhen.
1149  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The price dropping, any reason the huge dump? on: July 10, 2023, 02:54:55 PM
As we are already in a very deep valley if you see the overall bitcoin chart be prepared for more such drops. What I feel is that we'll see a lot of points in next few months which will make you doubt overall concept of bitcoin. But those will be the absolute buying points for bitcoin and you'll definitely see a big reversal from exactly those points.

I wouldn't doubt the overall concept of bitcoin if price starts dropping because it has already been speculated to fall down to $10k  but contrary to that, the price have stayed up in the corners of $30k-$31k. We expect more volatility during 3rd quarter as we approach halving. I think also that a part of the reason for stability of bitcoin for now could be the result of regulatory policies through EU MICA laws, maybe the confidence in bitcoin is rising.

You should very concern about when bitcoin dropped below $10k, it will not just be affecting the holders, it will affect every business that deals with Bitcoin, it will affect the trading exchange because less people will have interest in Bitcoin and last but not the least, there will be fear of people coming into invest despite the lower price it is. All this specualation are thing of the past, if anyone tells you that bitcoin price will crash to that price level, I will take them as joker because there is nothing clearly in this market that jeopardise the price of Bitcoin to that point, all the potential treats from altcoins has all been subsidized and we all waiting for another run.
1150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 10, 2023, 02:30:59 PM
Lately all transfers have become very expensive, something like inflation, I don't know how else to adequately call it, because players who are clearly not worth much money are being bought for 100, 120 million and so on, these are not isolated cases. The figure quoted is arbitrary, but nevertheless I don't think it's normal to spend 70-80 million on an average player, as current clubs do, including in the English premier league. So just because the aforementioned clubs are buying players does not mean they will strengthen well

I would not say that there is inflation. Most transfers require clubs to pay high prices. The main reason for this is that most clubs now have a lot of money close at hand. We used to consider Manchester City, United, Arsenal, and Liverpool as the richest Premier League clubs. Now a new name Newcastle has been added. Chelsea's owner has also changed. And he is also quite rich. That is why every club is ready to spend a lot of money to buy players. It is becoming difficult to recruit star players without spending huge amounts of money, as they are in high demand.

Inflation is at hand but since when did inflation did 100%, gone are those days when we used to see players signed with $100m and see them as been super expensive but today, we have realised that the transfer fees are now crazy that even small clubs cannot get to sign the good players after making one or two League trophies. If that was how Messi, Ronaldo and Ronaldinho where expensive back then, only lord knows how much this players will be worth and I don't them blame, its all about the hype and false marketing.

Look at Mbape for instance is still parading aorund because no club is ready to sign him with such a big amount, and he has spent 6 years in Paris without any Champions League and now the team are all running from how to reduce their lost and no team has that amount. I think this is a great lesson for clubs that are always in rush to push big amount on players and later will be looking for the club to discard the player to when there goals is not met, Hazard should be a big lesson to all clubs.
1151  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing and trading in crypto: can make you or mar you. on: July 09, 2023, 12:48:59 PM
That's because most of the people doesn’t follow the proper way of investment, rather they take crypto as gambling for change luck overnight and at the end, they lost their money and creating such memes. Although that memes are right, from the point of view  during crash of crypto market. People lost a lot even who held potential coins. But after some years, crypto pump again incredibly. So people who had hold crypto with patient, never get disappointed at the end.
Such a mindset is certainly wrong that assumes investing or trading in crypto will provide instant profits,
crypto is so complicated that it needs knowledge and skill,
those who are patient and stick with crypto know what to do and they are experienced.

Reviewing what he said, if you look at the majority of people in crypto, it's what they are after. Many people here don't want to learn the fundamental road to make it, they preferred to have a shortcuts which is why many of them love meme, I mean why would we buy meme tokens if not that we are having intention to take money from each other, because the use case is not there, people are buying lower to sell on the late comers who buy into the late hype of the coins and it's a very bad habit.

The basic rule is the best as you said; as a trader, I will never buy and hold meme tokens but when I see the opportunity to trade them, I cashout from the liquidity they create because it's what people love and they will are always willing to get them into their portfolio and that is why it's sweet to trade them.
1152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 09, 2023, 12:26:02 PM
Xavi didn’t need too much time to give Barcelona a turnaround, Tuchel won the UCL with the same set of players Lampard said were not ready to compete. The entire idea of ‘trusting the process’ is a mediocrity mentality, which should be among small teams with lesser budget.
As a big club, you always have to demand high work rate from your players, and have a set vision plus a defined style of play.

I think Graham Potter made some tweak by bringing in some players like Enzo and Felix and he didn't make use of Aubameyang again that were favorite of Tuchel and when Lampard came around, it became a laughing gig for people that never like the team, even booed Boehly on why he brought Lampard as an acting manager and now Pochettino and when you look at all this managers and some previous ones they have had like Mourinho work with Tottenham. I don't know if there is this cordial relationship Chelsea had with reuse of Coaches but I hope to see Chelsea among the top teams by the beginning of the season maybe Pochettino will be a moving train for them.
1153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 09, 2023, 11:38:46 AM
I agree that De Gea not continue his career there because United felt like they needed a better goalkeeper. But the shocking part was that he left before they got anyone. I know that they are trying to get Onana, but to keep De Gea would be a card, they could have acted like "either you give us Onana for 50 million, or we keep De Gea for a season or two longer and get Onana for free when his contract is over", and now they can't, they showed their hand.

12 solid years is good enough for anyone service, I don't think there should be any external beef between De Gea and Manchester United, there are good players like him in the past that were faces of Manchester United and at some point they left even when they wanted to stay, the club decision was to replace them and the best reason was known to them. I believe Onana deal should be completed in some days that is why they must haven't say anything positive with De Gea, it is even good to change environment, the next club will favor him.

Quote
They literally do not have any starting quality goalkeeper, which Inter knows and they are abusing that by keep getting United to increase their bid for Onana, they ask as much as 60, and there is a reality that they could actually get that money too, United needs to either look for someone else, or pay that 60 to get Onana.

I don't know the reason behind Maguire silency to the point that they allow De Gea to live before selling him, the money for Onana move would have been solved if they sell him since the beginning of transfer window or perhaps maybe he just parading like Mbape and Kane with unrealistic fee that no any club are ready to such amount, the high time they allow some those player to live, the easier is for them to buy new ones.

Real estate also fluctuates in price, but it always increases over time because along with population growth, the demand for housing will never stop. But I disagree when you say that we will make a profit from real estate in a short time. If we compare today's investments like gold, bitcoin, and real estate, bitcoin is the asset that gives the fastest return, while the other two need to be held for a long time to be profitable for us.

What about the assurance, everyone is familiar with how very risky Bitcoin is and very volatile. Over the years, Re estate has been growing and there is no sign that it will come back lower because it is determined by the growth and development of a place especially people in the city. Less risky and they don't even make noise and call for attention the way Bitcoin maxis are doing, the real estate guys knows better that they don't need to much public attention to get customers, they believe real estate is a real business anyone will always need in some days.

Quote
The biggest barrier when investing in real estate is capital investment, unlike bitcoin, we can start with any amount, but with real estate, we need a lot of money to invest.

Capital is a problem for beginners for potential investors that has interest in real estate but you don't have to wait for large amount, other potential investors can pair with each other and they are good to go. Not all investment has to be a single investment, even Cofounders and CEO of companies alone don't own this companies, they are only the face to the public.
1155  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you prefer to own a luxury watch or invest in bitcoin or other assets? on: July 09, 2023, 10:18:23 AM
Luxury watches at the top end of the market can be considered as an alternative form of investment. While I don't possess extensive knowledge about watches, my understanding from available information suggests that reselling them can yield a substantial profit. The return on investment for luxury watches tends to be quite satisfactory. Prominent examples of such watches include Patek Philippe, Rolex, and Audemars Piguet, some of which have a waitlist spanning two years. Most of these watches tend to appreciate in value.

This investment are only worthy in the place where they are value and outside that environment, people don't see if as luxury. If I have Rolex today that is one of the most expensive watch that are mechanical made for the rich people, if I want to convert it back to cash in US for example, people in that area will see the value in it and may buy it expensive but it is not a guarantee that you will be able to sell it at the original price and if the watch is taken to an environment where they don't value a watch, they will not value it that much but having Bitcoin in your wallet, the value is the same anywhere around the world, 1BTC price is the same everywhere and you can exchange it for anything.
1156  Economy / Economics / Re: What could Elon Musk be buying next? on: July 08, 2023, 09:23:40 PM
Tesla is such a powerhouse for him that everything else is just his toys. He doesn't want to be the CEO of twitter. It's like a playground that he liked to have fun with, so he bought it.

Despite that, he bought Twitter to himself and now we Twitter that use to be normal everyday app for the average person isn't the same. Everyday I asked myself what must have be his agenda with the platform he bought because he doesn't promote Tesla car like that, it's always politics and sarcasm everyday and he seems to enjoybit everyday for an investment that is worth billions of dollars.

Quote
He's probably going to keep expanding Tesla to get the EV market on every continent. The deal is to make cheaper and more reliable cars and you can see the trend here where new Teslas are becoming cheaper and cheaper. I still think they're too expensive for what they offer, but that's me.

The deal is to make everyone use Tesla and stylishly promote green energy but the poor can not afford what his producing, isn't it funny how they care about poverty in globe and the summit they all attend everyday and yet they are the problem. No average person in America can confidently say he can earn money from his paycheck to buy a Tesla car, it's either a mortgage or loan which I don't like because you will use the rest of your life paying back an item that is no longer trending, New model would be available already and you will still be stuck with the old one and you can sell it becuase of the agreement.

First of all if you have no knowledge about trading then don’t try this. I think you can invest 50% of btc and eth then others 50% you should invest top altcoins. We are here just share our opinion but you should understand which coin best and when you need to buy and sold.

If you invested 50% of their money in Bitcoin, if anyone buy at the current price bitcoin, it will be as if you are buying usdt and holding to me because the profit will not be significant to speak about, for bitcoin to do 3x right now, it will need $90k to make 3x and we all know how difficult to make that price, so many emotions and lots of selling pressure will come because people are still hurt from their 2022 altcoinmaniac fall in crypto that were link to FTX and Lund.

I also think that putting all 40k dollar in some altcoins is scary even as I like them, $21k max is good for 5 top coins in tbe market and hold them as long you like and invest the rest in business that is outside crypto, you will enjoy it when you altcoins will remained the same, other business will support him financially.
1158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waiting patiently for the next bull run... on: July 08, 2023, 08:26:46 PM
Bags of memecoins launch daily and most of those end up with scam. A few afford to come to light but temporary. When most of good coins were refuse to increased during bull run (comparing with previous price chart), then how can we expect from a meme coin to pump during next full run? Well anyone can give suggestions but its depend on a investor, Where he would like to invest his money. But its always wise to avoid memecoin.
I'm positive that 99% of meme coins that are released this year will not even reach the next bull market. I mean that they won't pump as much as other established coins out there. It is expected that DOGE will be alive few years but those meme coins who are just created to be s money making maching will either lose its community support or being abandonned by the project developers. I personally don't see a future in these meme coins. Meme coins is just a modern shitcoin.

I will be happy if the meme coins are put to RIP, those token has made many people lost so much money in this space and has rendered the crypto reputation like a garbage bin where anyone can create their nonsense, make money and abandoned the project after the series of promises they made to investors of pre-sale, public sale and the community and what flabbergasted me with the communities is that, they will believe whatever the team of meme coins promised them and when the team disappear, they will start crying for help when they it is not possible because of greed, they lost everything they had. Even DOGE wouldn't have a significant  increase in the way it had for the past on the price, because Elon don't want to be sue at this stage as there many things to lose as the CEO of Twitter and Telsa.
1159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are a lot of scams on Twitter, and illegal links steal your assets. on: July 07, 2023, 08:46:52 PM
bro it's an insane thing, imagine you follow some official tokens/protocol, etc and you see them tweet a giveaway, most people will give in already and they don't realize yet, that their account got hacked with Simswap or something.

The bottom line for that thing was to not be greedy, if it's too good to be true then maybe it is too good to be true.

It is one of the ways these hackers steal lots of wallet address yet many of them don't know this tricks they used in obtaining their funds in the wallet. What they do is that, they promised to give the first 20 wallet in the comment section $10 and then the gullible ones will fall for them and share their wallet in the comment section, and the scammers will then send then fake tokens to interact with, that is the bait and the moment they try to sell the token, they extract their private key in that process and when the hacker manually check the wallet, they drain every single thing they found in those wallet, this is one of the master plan scammers used in stealing assets from wallet addresses.

It's a little pity to see the story of Eden Hazard's journey which ended at Real Madrid and currently does not have an agreement to join any club.
I know that Eden Hazard while at Real Madrid did not make too many good contributions so that Real Madrid has no plans to extend the contract and with his current age it is difficult to get a big club unless you have to move to Saudi Arabia or accept an offer from Inter Miami.[/left]

Playing pity card again for a player that no other player has ever had the previlege in the history of Real Madrid, say another thing my friend. We all realize how that became so fat because he was never doing anything positive to the club, bench upon bench even when Anceloti needed someone that should have replace Benzema during injuries but they didn't used him because he can't deliver, they had to manage Rodrigo and Vini together to protect Real Madrid but in the end, they fail. He should move to Inter Miami while the oppportunity is still there, I believe he will have more money because that is what he is used to in Real Madrid, what a spoilt player.
