Hi
I saw todays dip and then read that a whale von Bitstamp sold about 3600 coins at once and tanked the price down to 6200 for a short period of time. Now it stabilized at around 7200 USD.
Why do these people do this? Are they just morons?
If they would sell their coins within a period of 3-4 days they could probably get close to 8000 USD for every single BTC ...
Pump ... Dump ... buy back lower Buy Low Sell High Yes they are morons  What you are saying i be greedy. All traders know that greed kills. These whales probably made their whole year in this run. |

I saw a thread that most currencies need 100 years to mature. In 10 years we will be at close to a quarter of maturity. I believe that Bitcoin will still mostly be interesting for traders. However it will also start to become one of the major payment systems for international online trade. Volatility will still be there but it will cost you less than going through the banking system. Old fashion cash will be replaced by bank based digital currencies (more debet/credit cards) however not Bitcoin. Legislation around Bitcoin (and crypto) will be clear to everyone making it as normal as having physical gold. In 10 years Bitcoin will hopefully be moving towards $1M |

I’ve been here long enough to have seen at least 6 China bans.
Usually they are hollow threats based on wrong interpretations.
BTC price will fluctuate on the FUD and we live to see another day.
So until I see proof and a Chinese dude translate the meaning, formulation and gesture behind this news I will not be convinced of it’s truth.

Time is a healer....  Time shall surely tell if bitcoin bull run will commence this year 2019! I have seeing many speculations this days and some are in favour of bitcoin why others are against it but if we can wait for time we would surely find out if this is truth or not. However, from all indications, bitcoin is currently at the bottom and it is truth that we can succeed in our investments if we can buy at the bottom and sell when the bull run is at it pick. Yes, there is always a time for everything and like you said, time will always tell the events of bitcoin, but time will not help us increase the value of bitcoin if we don’t work ahead for what time will speak. Remember that we are all waiting for future to see what will happen to BTC without us who are already in the system doing what will attract investors to invest in order to create a positive record for what the time will tell in future. There are some things every investors too must stop doing if we are expecting time to tell us something good, we must stop dumping on these good projects, we need to start seeing our Bitcoin as digital asset to hold for a very long time. Just buy Bitcoin... We are at a low, the tech is solid, we've seen this all before.... That's what I meant with time is a healer. Positive times are coming |

If there is a correlation it will be between the devaluation(inflation) of fiat and the deflation of Bitcoin. And correlation is not proof....  Next you will be correlating sunspots with the temperature of your pasta.... |

We don't about future of bitcoin exactly, but once a day we will realize that why I didn't hold for long time. Because if you hold 1 bitcoin now, may be it will your dream in future if I can buy 1 btc in case you sold it now. Just imagine before 5 years what was the price of bitcoin and what would be price after 5 year. Although we can't say 100% but we can expect from previous record. However I am always positive about bitcoin although market still on bear market. So be positive.
people are more likely to think short term, thats why they always hesitate and fear when prices fall even though it's only temporary. many people think that way a few years ago, and then now thinking why I'm not holding some bitcoin, it will make me rich. if you want to be rich, don't look at this time, look ahead, you have to take risks dude! +1 you don't get rich by playing it safe. If that were true everyone would be filthy rich. Bitcoin is your best bet for getting rich without having to do anything. Just buy and wait. Your second best bet would be to buy an expensive sportscar with <10 on the spedometer and lock it away for 40 years and hope it becomes a classic. P.S. I regret stopping with mining because I could only min BTC0.02 in a day. Now that would be $80 a day. Free $29k a year in todays price. $146k a year in ATH price. |
