1181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if some country decides to pay pension to working population in bitcoin ? on: November 08, 2023, 02:11:09 PM
What if some country decides to pay pension to working population in bitcoin ? What percent of people will agree to getting pension in bitcoin in your opinion  ? What will be the benefits and limitations of this occurrence in long term on people and economy ?
It will cause mixed reactions on this issue, not everyone understands bitcoin and accepts it. I'm not sure if economic analysts consider Bitcoin a currency or still just an investment, so paying such a pension is only convenient for a few.
Even changing from cash to banks took a lot of time, as did raising people's awareness of its use. And the target audience here is elderly retirees. They will consider it convenient. Of course, it cannot be guaranteed that Bitcoin will have a global effect. Although I strongly support the application of Bitcoin in many areas of life, that is just a personal perspective, and this is a collective story on a much larger scale, so it will not be easy to apply.
1182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using TV( GOTV, DSTV) monthly subscription money to invest in bitcoin on: November 08, 2023, 07:12:42 AM
(...)What do you all think about this idea?
Even if you think that habit is a waste, switching it to investing in bitcoin is a pretty good choice. As before, I know some are mentioned on the forum

- I quit smoking and buy Bitcoin every week
- Community research: To drink or to buy coins?

Although in this case, when I look back at my family's spending on television equipment, it's not a reason to get rid of it in favor of bitcoin. But I promote the spirit of eliminating habits of wasting money to switch to more valuable investments to serve life.
1183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE OPPORTUNITIES USHERED BY LAUNCHPAD PROJECTS. on: November 08, 2023, 07:01:36 AM
If you only care about the profit factor, I think this is also an opportunity, but be more wary that many things are appearing with quality and ideas that I personally find really exaggerated. Since I also mentioned T2T2 in another article related to the bitget launch, I felt it was not suitable for me. But anyway, for those who can make money with it, it's a good thing, even though I don't use bitget, I have seen some feedback from users about its quality when it comes to easy listing, and that is why it has sh*tcoin. Even top exchanges can abuse users' habits of trust, so before starting something, do your research and always be responsible for your actions and any results.
1184  Economy / Economics / Re: "I saw my salary on a bottle of perfume today" on: November 08, 2023, 06:54:08 AM
Managing your personal life is built on what others have shaped for you. It sounds funny, but the truth is, in life, we don't even know what we're living for. Things are considered hobbies, and they will identify with those who share them, the opposite of those who see them as redundant and wasteful. I feel like as long as we can afford to spend it on that hobby without any stress or regret, we should. Before, I also found it quite funny when a hat was priced at thousands of dollars, and I didn't understand that owning that hat added value to the user, but the story is about hobbies. Along with human desire, the nature of winning and losing is part of the problem. And sometimes we feel sorry for them, but let's try to put it in their mind, it's important to be willing to spend big on things that we don't like, but they like. If I can't help them, I don't think it's necessary to stay and debate with them about their views on life.
1185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is the Bear and Bull Markets for Altcoins? on: November 08, 2023, 06:43:44 AM
In the crypto market, the trend of altcoins depends on the bitcoin situation, the simplest example is to observe it in the short term (about the last 3 months) when we discuss a lot about the mainstream future of the market. Of course there will still be a lot of buzz around and gaining people's attention, but what we expect more is a clearer signal of bitcoin, before and now the index BTC. D is a way to identify the flow of money from bitcoin to altcoin and vice versa.

Most new and old people believe that investing in bitcoin is unlikely to be as profitable as holding altcoins, but that is the story of positions in investment finance, if you take risks easily, you will also easily lose. That's why most of the optimal strategies proposed by experienced people always keep the majority with bitcoin. When the market enters a bullish cycle, the trend of investing heavily in altcoins becomes popular.
1186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For Newbies Interested in Gambling on: November 08, 2023, 06:33:33 AM
Being patient and consistently involved in healthy gambling habits will surely make you a successful gambler. If you are newbie who is interested in gambling and has been following the gambling community here or any where online or offline, your purpose should be to learn as much as possible from the shared experiences of others such that you can eventually branch out independently, allowing you to operate without dependence on others.
I'm not sure if a newbie applying for this could help them, and it's also quite vague on the approach for newbies. Rather like my experience with gambling both online and offline:
- Determine from the beginning the purpose of exposure to gambling
- What are gambling games?
- The risks when we play them and with them come opportunities

...
Usually beginners easily try their luck through games, and patience is not the deciding factor in winning if you are unlucky and just lose then this only causes more harm.

(...)Note that the most important thing in gambling is bankroll management and finding value. What messes people up is poor bankroll management.  Personally, I limit my bets to no more than 10 percent of my bankroll per day, I stop once that limit is reached.  Also don't get discouraged if variance comes in and you have a losing day, week, month, etc. Value is value and it will catch up.  Goodluck on your gambling journey.

Gambling oldies can throw in their 2 sats on this.
This shows that it is only when we turn into a gambling addict that it is too late to correct our mistakes. From the beginning, if you simply view it as a form of entertainment, of course it will be harmful, and like many other fields, the goal of becoming a professional in a field is always not applicable to the crowd. And the same goes for good asset management, it's not for the masses, and that's part of the reason the house always wins.
1187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Investment, Beyond "Invest What You Can Afford to Lose" on: November 08, 2023, 06:10:49 AM
Money (material) is not the main reason when we talk about investing, turning things around and knowledge issues are often ignored, but it is an easy source for whether investments can help us complete the goal. The opinions stated are not wrong at all, but it is clear that simply putting money into places we do not understand is always a mistake until we realize that cultivating knowledge is even more important. I bet that many participants only think about the profit opportunity from Bitcoin (crypto) and they don't care much until they lose more money during the investment process, because this is the story. Money reflects whether our lives depend on it. With good managers, of course they will avoid risks in the investment process and on the contrary, just spending money in their own pockets is no different from pure gambling.
1188  Economy / Economics / Re: War and property mortgage you still need to pay If war destroy your Property on: November 07, 2023, 02:33:39 PM
Fortunately, today we have many ways to protect our assets, and bitcoin is an option that I always believe is great. I have had some experiences and been in contact with a number of people in places where there had previously been complicated conflicts (in Vietnam), a former soldier once shared with me that at a time when the conflict just ended and when the US withdrew its troops from Vietnam, there was a lot of chaos about the asset transfer process. He shared with me that at that time their people were very poor, only a few were able to accumulate wealth but could not carry it with them because of the chaos at that time, and the way they protected it was to bury it all. All that wealth goes into the ground, and it will come back for it when things settle down again.

Returning to the story of the conflicts going on now, because we may live in a more stable place, we cannot understand the feelings of the people there, but I know that keeping our lives alive can be difficult. Obtaining support for food, fuel, medical equipment, etc. is always a top priority. Assets such as money, houses, gold, cars,... are almost worthless because they cannot solve the problem they are facing.
That's exactly why I invest into bitcoin, it's always going to be the best one and I do not think that people could ever realize how big and great it could be, and should be realizing that they are not going to end up with a greater result at all. I get that it may not be all that simple to see, but we need to realize that life is not all that simple.

We should be considering the situation a little different in the end, and we need to realize bitcoin is above all other assets that you can invest, because it gives you a freedom to be off the grid and not ruined by governments. Anything else could be ruined by nations and governments, whereas bitcoin can't be and won't be because it's decentralized and can't be changed all that much. We need to make sure that we know the power of it, and invest long term because of that, I do, I think I am making a great decision by putting all my investment into bitcoin and could consider it doing a lot better.
I also make my own choices, and although I don't completely devote all my assets to bitcoin (crypto), I understand some of the potential and problems it can solve. It can be seen that the current context is very different, controls on the economic system by the government can force an investment to death, or manipulation of opinion distorts the truth. Even with the issue of bitcoin, there are still powerful people who want to inhibit its development, but we are the people who understand the freedom and equality that bitcoin brings. I'm not sure if I'm making a mistake or not, but in the past, I really misunderstood some countries about their toughness on a global scale, only when I encountered and experienced it firsthand. Experiencing those things, I can see the fake faces of those who hold power for profit (or rather, hatred).
1189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts on TRON's impact on the payment landscape? on: November 07, 2023, 02:22:00 PM
It has its own advantages that the OP mentioned, but the challenges of TRON's competition with other L1s are many. Although I use TRC20 quite often to transfer USDT, other than that, I don't like the rest of the ecosystem it has. Since its launch until now, there have been many controversies, as well as limited development capabilities, while many new competitors have appeared with better solutions. And Justin Sun makes me distrust this crypto will go further
Tron is not a new coin anymore but if it seems they are not moving to fix those known issues, then I think we should stop supporting them anymore or for a while if they still have a plan on fixing it because maybe they will, once they realized that their users are declining also if they know that it declined due to the said issues. There are many cryptos now and there are also new additions which we can say better for now than in Tron.

Let's only hope they continue like this because there are also cryptos who turned ugly later on. Money and fame, truly changes someone or something. Other than that, the creation of new cryptos doesn't stop, so we shouldn't only limit our selves on one crypto especially if they are not that good enough.
Agree, the altcoin space has things that are overhyped, even things in the top category have them, but the product cannot solve the problem that they use as a basis for development. The main reason they can still maintain is relationships and money. These projects do not appear with the purpose of building a market, but they just want to find ways to make money from market participants, playing games. Play pump/dump on the created trend and some old/new people exposed to it will love/hate it. However, having complete trust in a product does not mean there is no risk, but larger scale problems can stifle a project after many years (XRP case). Therefore, the balance between risks and profits in the investment process is the main factor that dictates the shortterm or longterm process.
1190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Memeland Airdrop on: November 07, 2023, 02:13:05 PM
As it has always been, another project has appeared that almost completely copies Memeland. This project, which was launched a day ago, is called DropCoin and to receive coins, you need to perform the same actions as when farming Memecoin. But it must be remembered that all imitators have never surpassed the original and you should remember about the security of your wallet.
Saw it appear on X trends where I saw many people change their names to participate in the airdrop, then unfortunately their X accounts got locked. I'm not sure about the rules for using X, but some users abuse having multiple accounts to spam and cheat.
The same is the case with memeland, when in the DC group there are some members who claim they have participated with many accounts from 10000 - 30000, although they also understand why many people are interested in the project, sometimes they are too expecting an easy activity to make a lot of money.

1192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is it a copy of friend tech? T2T2 on: November 06, 2023, 10:57:08 AM
There was some similarity when I accidentally learned about T2T2, many people are probably still continuing on Friend Tech. And I bet this is a project filled with hype.  Are any of you interested in this project? As far as I know, they conduct IEO on Bitget, IEO details: https://www.bitget.com/events/launchpad/details/7121 I don't know much about the current events regarding this project, but from the looks of it, it seems like it's quite hyped to launch at the moment.

What do you think about T2T2?

Will this project cause many developers to launch and list similar products in the future, because when I learned about SocialFi, I wasn't sure what they could do or if they were simply taking advantage of the term to cause attention.

1193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the best advice or should I just let him on: November 06, 2023, 10:34:44 AM
The OP's thinking may be a good one in wanting to help others, but in this case, I'm not sure whether the man is a gambling addict or simply lonely, so they seek help for the fun of gambling games. Because I also came into contact with a similar case, but on the contrary, the person I came into contact with taught me that I should not be exposed to gambling games much but spend more time with people around.

And going back to the OP's story, I just want to suggest that you regularly discuss understanding better with your neighbor, to know better and why he likes to gamble, and definitely need advice if he's deep into gambling.
1194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you guys believe in other people luck and try to copy them? on: November 06, 2023, 04:42:50 AM
(...)Of course in here it is not about skill or luck games anymore but it is about destiny,so tell me how many of you are deceived by dreams that may change your destiny like I am  Grin?
Although I am not looking for life-changing opportunities through gambling games, I must admit that I have been lucky many times when participating. But when we're more alert when we start, we all realize that the winning rate is very low, and like in the case of playing the lottery, I've been lucky a few times before, but I don't have any formula because it's simply comfortable to buy, and of course accepting to lose that money from the beginning makes us feel a lot more comfortable.

Instead of looking for luck by imagining life-changing opportunities like that, I think we need to be more realistic when we look in the mirror and see clearly whether we are worthy of that luck, I think almost everyone  feels that they are not worthy. And if possible, I always want poor people to have a chance to win. I learned that luck is created by each of us, not anything anyone gives us.
1195  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the right age for financial stability? on: November 06, 2023, 04:31:02 AM
I think it doesn't depend on age, but of course prejudices in society make us responsible for our own lives. My friends are many different ages, including those who have just become adults, but they can already earn their own money. It must be said that they have a lot of money, but that is how I use the perspective measure material aspects to compare with them. But it is clear that in each position of different opportunities, we will have a responsibility to serve the lives of our friends as well as the community, some lifestyles that I consider wasteful when they no longer have to think much about their lives. Financial matters when subsidized by their government, and being given a monthly amount of money helps them travel to many places at low cost, and can also be seen as a choice for life experiences in each person's life. But for me there is no specific age, because always trying in life to be motivated to overcome many challenges is not about making a large amount of money and enjoying it.

1197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Memeland Airdrop on: November 06, 2023, 04:08:31 AM
I saw several big projects listing this token or participating with it (Pyth network adding it's price feed, Pika protocol listing it). Pretty huge deal for token that has no use whatsoever.
It can be considered that there is a hype going on around it, but I actually don't invest in these things so I don't bother too much with research specifically. With Memeland, the related airdrop information is something that has attracted a lot of attention from the community in recent days. Although it may not be fair for everyone, those who were able to claim and sell it are enjoying it. The profits are quite good, currently TGE accounts for about %10 of the supply so I believe there will still be some opportunities for those interested in the next possible airdop.

I have heard that if memecoin.org/farming is only for rewarding the users who have been contributing to the project. I can't even sure if this is related to the airdrop but the developed said it's TBA.

All of people who have been farming through memecoinorg was feeling quite disappointing caused by they were thinking it's related to the airdrop.

Im still waiting what kind of announcement will be released by the team in the future. I hope that will be something good for the all of farmers.
That is the problem for users, when they do not research TGE from the beginning, as I mentioned in this topic and as some people also speculated, memecoin.org/farming will not bring much value when the number of participants is very large.

But it is also necessary to frankly admit that the surrounding hype is so huge that many people easily get FOMO, but what happened with the airdrop event is that it is one of the programs that brings in large sums of money.

I also quite agree with the speculation from @tvplus006 about the memecoin.org/farming program, there may be notifications appearing when the launchpool on binance ends.
1198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tricky situation for Altcoin investment on: November 05, 2023, 08:54:41 AM
Like how they might think about a certain memecoin reaching $1 and coming with a lot of zeroes, maybe they like to see a lot of numbers so choosing altcoins is the way they think it's safe. But we all clearly know that Bitcoin is the main reason for this market to follow an up/down cycle. Similarly, I can think that one day bitcoin will reach $1M, and certainly at the present time, many people will consider that crazy Smiley , it doesn't matter, everyone has their own investment position, and in general, exposure to the crypto market requires profit as long as we have a clear plan for it. Newcomers will need more time to go through what their predecessors have gone through. And then if they still stick around, I believe that with larger investment assets, people will prioritize Bitcoin and top altcoins.
1199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what if bitcoin becomes inferior on: November 05, 2023, 08:45:30 AM
(...)What if someone with as much genius and passion as Satoshi is creating a system better than Bitcoin?
So you can imagine yourself coming up with the next technology that can pioneer and replace bitcoin. I know that's not going to happen in terms of ideas and some similar crossover is unlikely compared to bitcoin. In fact, even at the present time, there are different opinions about the acceptance of bitcoin, so don't expect too much that something will happen soon because the OP mentioned the historical development story. Then remember how long it took Bitcoin to reach its current state.

Anyway, I'm not too fanatical about Bitcoin, but when it comes to technology, I think it is currently much ahead of its time. I really feel very lucky to be people who know about bitcoin. But if what OP happens, I'm not sure I'd be knowledgeable enough to recognize it early on.
1200  Economy / Economics / Re: Is energy prices about to shoot up? on: November 05, 2023, 08:30:24 AM
I am also paying attention to the conflict issues in this area and am also sensing some changes in energy prices, but at the moment I only see a small impact on food prices, and fuel prices don't vary too much where I live.

Unlike the period between the conflict between Russia and Ukraine when fuel prices were more volatile, or perhaps in the near future we will also have to accept price increases of many different things when the conflict may arise spokes are wider.

Another question I have been discussing with others is whether WW3 is happening or about to start?

Because as far as I know, tense issues, especially in Asia, are becoming more and more complicated. Earlier this week, there were some statements from the president of North Korea about possible support for Hamas, or tough statements. with Japan.

And if the conflict really continues and widens further, energy prices will certainly increase a lot, hopefully this will not happen.
