121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any airdrop farming which also gives bitcoins in addition to original token? on: April 28, 2024, 02:24:07 PM
Is there current airdrop which is also giving bitcoins in addition to native or original token ? It can be a good medium for people with limited savings to accumulate some bitcoins just by doing some tasks.
Not really sure maybe you could find that on some cex. But btc has been used now massively on brc20 as source of airdrops of new projects. Ive seen a lot of airdrop there. But there are other use case like in OKX where you could use your bitcoin for a launchpool to receive new project tokens like what is doing on Binance except you need bnb on that one.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hyperlane Airdrop on: April 28, 2024, 01:36:10 PM
An update guys. They are now supported viction network and ancient8 network. Now you could transfer and got some routes on these networks too I think supporting usdc and eth coins.

This is good to try sometime if you have any extra fund to try out the smoothness of those chain and also another contract to unlock in using hyperlane. This project has many big backers and the way I see it, using hyperlane could be as massive like layerzero too and wormhole.
123  Other / Meta / Re: Hey Theymos, There Should Be a Demotion Button on: April 28, 2024, 12:12:03 PM
I know this feature is never going to happen but if it does, it might be the end of BitcoinTalk and the signature campaign era and if it's not implemented properly. Imagine if someone with power were to demote others; this could easily be abused. I've never seen a forum with a ranking feature where members can get demoted. This isn't like the military or anything similar; implementing such a feature or action would be challenging.
If theres a feature like this, then the forum will be cleanse. Not in the context how the demotion will be set based by OP. Apparently, more people are worried this could make them demoted right? But it could be rather a discipline approach on how not to break any rules. No one could have the power of demotion for proven bias. I can accept it if once will have a power of this is literally a good in  jugdement.
124  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Your favourite exchange can be nowhere to be found on: April 28, 2024, 06:50:35 AM
a good example with how finance has been suffering a lot of threats upon attacks from US, Nigeria, India, Philippines and some other, we only know how it begins and we are not sure of where it may landed, you can just wake up a day to discover that the exchange have been banned from your country or it's under attack, what will be your fate at that moment being it's user.
Yeah as a forum user I am also that believer, I am just keen on those particular cex cause I can use them which noncustodial cant give me some needed features especially in p2p. Like in our country, The Sec pushing it ban here immediately without court order, I can see why our political aspect is indeed bound by crocodiles. Anyway thanks for that input.
125  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Your favourite exchange can be nowhere to be found on: April 27, 2024, 04:39:06 PM
Unfortunately, Binance has been negatively tagged by our SEC since the company failed to comply with the requirements provided under the laws of the Philippines. Though this may be the case, Binance has released a statement saying that they will fulfil such responsibility in order to provide exchange and trading services in the country.
Yeah a very bad news but still accesible on the app. I can still use it. I believe they will not succeed on banning the Binance app on those platforms as they dont have enough reason to do so. Its like a force act on the part of SEC to fully implement the ban, but clearly they dont have the rights. People of the Philippines which uses crypto suffered form their insisting approach on Banning they arent protecting the people at all.
126  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it too late to seek a new beginning? on: April 27, 2024, 02:00:03 PM
I've been a little busy lately, which has reduced the amount of time I spend here, but I believe I'm finally prepared to embark on the path to becoming a bitcoin expert. I desire a new beginning and am hoping that my prior participation in bounties was not improper. In order to accomplish this aim of mine, I will need all of your help and guidance.
What kind of new path? New campaign list or a change of algorithms? If your realization is something about imrpovement on forum guidance thats better. But if its about altcoin bounty participating then you wouldnt move forward. Bounties in the forum are if not saturated more of a scam. So why not stop joining on those campaign and focus on yourself improvement like posting and adding new quality topics.

I myself is an altcoin hunter, but stopped doing it here maybe on social its much better and moee lucrative, but here bounties for me is already dead or gone.

128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why did the 1st Gen NFTs have to be so damn Ugly? on: April 27, 2024, 10:02:32 AM
To be honest, there are many things i will probably never understand about NFTs cos I couldnt understand the inspiration behind its ugliness. I think it was odd how the first generation NFTs, especially this ape club, were ugly as hell. Sure, the whole nft idea was bewildering really, but why was it all so ugly as well?

is there a hidden utility in ugliness or am i missing something?
Whats your point? If you hear some first generation nft being minted or offer, it really doesnt mean good looks or art cause many users purchased it for potential rewards from partners or certain airdrop token if they launch one.

As of now, thats its use case and I can confirm it as I am also joining some projects 1st gen nft and their value is not based on looks but on the level of rarity.
129  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Your favourite exchange can be nowhere to be found on: April 26, 2024, 05:59:06 PM
There's no reliable exchange. No exchange is too good to big to fail. You actually don't know what they're doing with your funds. Binance as big as they may be keeps having several issues in different countries and you really do not know how things will end for them.
Well its your opinion mate I have mine. As far as I can use Binance and some exchanges to my own benefit I think thats deserved a good feedback. Well I know what you mean about their hold our money, its right since its a custodial services but I am using binance not only for the trading purposes. You see they got a very convenient way to cash out your profits or fund to a remmitance platform that can easily be converted into cash which I believe isnt convenient as some dexes. So its still a good thing we have those exchanges for this purposes. You can see goodness on the exchange when you are using it on what you needs.

So whats not being reliable there? Which for me its totally reliable.
130  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If all your wages were paid in USDT, would you accept it? on: April 26, 2024, 04:03:30 PM
Why not? But each of us has our own preferences, so I can't force you with that if you think it's weird for you. Why won't I use them when crypto is also a currency or a money just like a fiat? And USDT is more close to it. It's name says it all >"US dollar".
We have a public ride here in our country called Jeep its a cheaper way of ride than bus and trains. Imagine you gonna pay to the driver a usdt knowing what he needs is the currency acceptable on that country how can you make that convenient? Also when you are in a hiking mountains and theres no signal and you need a payment for the tour guide I supposed they will ask for a cash payment not bank transfer even so not crypto usdt.

Can you use usdt when you to a carnival? Or some normal everyday things you need yo pay something. Yes some establishment considered that but not all your expenses are on those establishment.

So how can you make it possible maybe for a 1st world country it is flexible. But lets admit not all countries support crypto or at least accept usdt payment.

Maybe in your country its convenient for you but think other places too. Im not gonna say that if I havent have a valid arguement.
131  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Your favourite exchange can be nowhere to be found on: April 26, 2024, 12:59:29 PM
Since its advisable to keep funds on our own noncustodial wallet then leaving on exchange is solely based on someones preference. You got it mate, some of these are high tier exchange before like FTX but experience a disaster trimming of funds. Only trust few with reliable and trusted one backed up funds like Binance or maybe OKX.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Halving is coming, alt season soon? on: April 26, 2024, 06:47:38 AM
Im holding most of my crypto in USD, so I can buy the dip.

What about you?
Im already positioned myself on some alts bought before this great movement from bitcoin these past few month. I think better move is to wait an entry if theres a sudden crash and take advantage of that since you already holding some USD. We dont know until when its gonna hit a pumped or dump so better be ready.

133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If someone you introduced to BTC says the risks of her funds is on you on: April 25, 2024, 11:11:21 PM
Well thats self explanatory I guess. If someone you teach and out of your reach did invested in spite of the risk and precaurious and warnings then he is rhe one to blame alone. Yes bitcoin is a good for storing speculative asset but still its heavy volatile most of the time so if he/she arent emotionally intact then its not gonna end up panicking and selling his shares at the time bitcoin is doing a crazy dump.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you restaking wBTC right now? on: April 25, 2024, 10:06:29 PM
But anyways this is really cool once you start to farm your yield from your BTC. You will feel that's making you reap more benefits from your BTC. So are you actually utilizing the potential of your Bitcoin holdings in this way?
Yup in the form of some farming or ming like example OKX Jumpstart like mining a new project with a reward pool. Here might as well check it, its not every time only if theres an open project open for the pool. Usually this is only when there is a new launch.

Check this out.

135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bull rush Memories from the last pump on: April 25, 2024, 09:02:55 PM
Whenever I encounter an event with the potential to enhance my liquidity, it triggers memories of the previous bull run. During that time, my friends and I eagerly participated in such events to boost our trading resources.

We succeeded to accumulate a significant amount of USDT from the incentives offered. In search of more platforms/avenues to earn..Thats why I'm here.. This is a space to learn and share ideas. So I'm open to your notable experiences and suggestions
Well good for you. With the info spreading on social media probably its best there and fast. Here in forum you could only spot few who are udpated with the ways to double or multiply your profits. People here loves much to talk about more on blockchain features and integration and vital of blockchains.

But me as an altcoin enthusiast and investment normally shares potential discussion on this sometimes.
136  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Rookie 101 on: April 25, 2024, 03:07:16 PM
Hi, good day guys. I’m new to this platform and I’ve been perusing the site and I think I’m gonna love it here. I’m quite enthusiastic about Bitcoin and cryptos, I do mine crypto airdrops and my zeal to know more about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies brought me here. I would be glad to have more insights and knowledge from the senior members, heroes and legends here. Thank you ☺️
Dont you not interested on learning on forum first? Like to gauge yourself on posting here and what are the rules. I suspect you here this place cause you heard they gonna earn money lingering here? Well thats a wrong thought of you.

Just proceed with the pinned messages on this section and start digesting every important matters such as dos and dont and some things you should be able to learn like how to post image and etc.
137  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If all your wages were paid in USDT, would you accept it? on: April 25, 2024, 12:22:36 AM
If your salary was not US dollars, but USDT, would you dare to ask for it? Although USDT can facilitate transfers and cross-border payments, thinking about the fluctuations and risks makes me feel a little panicked! It can’t be used everywhere in daily life, What do you think? Come and chat!
Probably not if you are talking about real time job but if you are a freelancer or online works maybe its okay. There are some who accept it on some remittances and platform provided you are into crypto but if not then totally not good idea. Why would you used it knowing its a crypto stable of course you need to deposit it or make it as currency first.
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto's last message on: April 24, 2024, 01:45:07 PM
Satoshi's last message before his disappearance was that he has 'moved on to other things'. Now my question is this, if actually Satoshi Nakamoto saw a good vision of what Bitcoin will turn out to be in the future, why then did he decided to move on to other things instead of focusing more on the Bitcoin project to make sure that he also took part in achieving the adoption of this digital currency? So unfortunate Satoshi should have been the one to answer this question.

I've moved on to other things
His decision his rules. We all seen the messages here like few times and tackle about it. The link with the article sounded like Satoshi Unto something which I think is just pure speculation. No one will know what his next move. Who knows if his running a famous project now that we are seeing, no one can tell since his footprint leaves no trace at all.
139  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin halving is coming, what should we do? on: April 24, 2024, 10:56:12 AM
As miners reduce production and there are fewer Bitcoins circulating in the market, the price will rise as expected. It’s also possible that operators in this space will come under increased political scrutiny because the halving is likely to lead to increased investment and consolidation among Bitcoin miners.
Well its up to them to continue or shift towards the changes in the reward surely they can cope. Using GPUs can either utilizes on other purposes not only mining rig. Like the current use on depin markets. Where GPU can be rented for earning coins like mining. Same process but different approach. With the price action now I think its becoming bullisg even with the cut on bitcoin rewards.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Gitcoin Passport New Update. on: April 24, 2024, 03:03:54 AM
Has anyone seen the tweet of of Gitcoin Passport?

https://twitter.com/gitcoinpassport/status/1782770458078633991?t=UCYjT4b1o0EGSeGukGKPuA&s=19

Its like a nightmare for decentralization as Zksync governance protocol coming it seems they want to utilize the gitcoin passport for checking thr criteria and filtered out sybils? Ive check my score it was way down from my previous points.

Whats your stance on this? Would zksync use themx there are plenty of choices like nansen and trustalab why would settle to a second party like gitcoin.
