But what is more interesting to me is your generation is so ideologically preoccupied. Perhaps you believe in the lie of anthropogenic global warming as well. I hate to bust your bubble but it was a propaganda constructed to put in a place a global governance and taxation system. The scientists have confirmed we are headed into a Mini Ice Age and our global temperature is modulated by the sun, nothing else. Period.

No wonder why noone takes you seriously.

Organised campaigning to undermine public trust in climate science is associated with conservative economic policies and backed by industrial interests opposed to the regulation of CO2 emissions.[21] Climate change denial has been associated with the fossil fuels lobby, the Koch brothers, industry advocates and libertarian think tanks, often in the United States.[17][22][23][24] Between 2002 and 2010, nearly $120 million (£77 million) was anonymously donated via the Donors Trust and Donors Capital Fund to more than 100 organisations seeking to undermine the public perception of the science on climate change.[25] In 2013 the Center for Media and Democracy reported that the State Policy Network (SPN), an umbrella group of 64 U.S. think tanks, had been lobbying on behalf of major corporations and conservative donors to oppose climate change regulation.[26]

You are wasting your time replying to either retards or scammers. Just saying...

I wouldn't trust a project that relies on me to succeed.

Then you must find another project and trust whoever funds it. This is an open source decentralized project, which means it relies on the community.

But can it really be that obvious? I am asking myself that these days.

With the tragic death of Master Haridimous there is thinking on auctioning some of his wealth. I wonder if there is demand for:

•His house 1-SE-V11 in old town.
•18x CR1523E gold 5ckg rare coins. Only 40 exist. Sold!
•5x CR1588E gold 5ckg rare coins. Only 60 exist.

Updates
•Stuck values bug fixed. (Yeah, it took some time...)
•Unexpected bug fixes!
•Experimental Price Alarms.
Τhe new permissions (receive data from Internet, prevent device from sleeping, control vibration) are only used if you enable alerts. Alerts are using Google Cloud Messaging, so Google Play Services are required. Only the settings on the alerts page are sent to the server, and wakelock is kept just for the duration of handling a message; Play Services handle  reception in a power efficient way.

And please make feature requests or tell us about bugs! It really helps!

The market capitalization of Monero in USD has reached a new high, exceeding the August 2014 peak. This is very relevant because of the emission curve of Monero https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/monero/#charts

The weekly volume in XMR was the highest ever at least from what i see on bitcoinwisdom.

But I am confident these physics issues can be worked out to a sufficient level of trust.

Only need to confirm that the private key was not communicated from the computer to any one.

I find this kinda weak against your general absolutism. "So Simple Yet So Complex".

After all, what stops all 3 letter agencies, who can own blockchains and can do analysis and attacks etc, to stage the whole thing? Will i be allowed to check that computer?

I mean, i have near to zero understanding of cryptography, but your search for the perfect/ideal solution looks like making you ready to take a huge and dangerous bet.

There is a -detach feature now. I don't use it (I prefer screen) but some people were just discussing it on the Monero Support thread.

It was so easy after all Cheesy

Talking about nodes, there is a reason why GUI would help. Before the recent release my laptop would be laggy as hell but now everything seems okay. But i simply dont want to start the daemon every time i turn my PC on. And i dont like to have a command line tab open all the time.

Now of course, i will google how to autostart and hide the process on Ubuntu, i know it is not that difficult. But still...you get the point.

Maybe there is an option for that right now?
