From what I have read in the past experiences of users the limit countdown is shared in several actions towards the forum since before I also have read (I can't find it now) that there was this user complaining that he can't open multiple tabs of BCT or go to the pages quickly because of the countdown people like what they are saying now seems to think that 4 seconds is not that a long wait and I agree I don't think there is a reason to decrease such an already short period of time already since it is already a reasonable time for any user to accomplish a task.
122  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can you really 'Sell High and Buy Low' in this 2020 BITCOIN Bull Run? on: December 28, 2020, 12:09:16 PM
There are 2 ways where you can profit in crypto trading it's either buying low and selling high or buying high and then sell low.  Which the latter is something that can really be risky since you won't have really have any kind of safety with your rrade. Now I'm not saying that they  at a bad situation but from what I have said in my previous post related to this trading without safety is ike doubling the risk you wanna take since you may never know when Bitcoin is about to go down.
123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 28, 2020, 11:07:37 AM
This year KD will pass Giannis and take MVP award again.

Mark my words.
KD is one of the best player in NBA and Im really sure that it is possible that he can get again the MVP awards for this year .
We saw the on how KD playing basketball and many teams wants to him to be a team mate. I also like Stephen curry because I like his strategy and one of adore him because he is 3 points shooter and he is qualified to become MVP too.

Being MVP in the league doesn't mean anything to me anymore since I already know it won't be about stats but how the voters which are just sports "analyst" and journalist trying to put on a vote which obviously has biases. For me you are right Kevin Durant has an edge in MVP voting but its not about who has the better stats but who has a bigger market team which Durant playing in Brooklyn definitely given him an advantage.
124  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Investment Platform on: December 28, 2020, 10:34:29 AM
If you are planning to hold you cryptocurrencies and not trade them I think you just need to withdraw it out from an exchange and keep it into a desktop or hardware wallet which is more safer when it comes to storing your cryptocurrencies. There is really no use for you to keep your cryptocurrencies inside a wallet of an exchange since you really don't have any control in it and you won't even trade it so you are just risking yourself in putting your money there.
125  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: NYC Residents on: December 28, 2020, 10:17:14 AM
From what I know residents in the New York have a special license if he/she wants to do business related to cryptocurrencies so maybe you should have this first known if you have one or not because I don't think you can start or even plan a foundation of some sort related to cryptocurrencies if you don't have the license to do so. Also you won't be finding any devs or invesfors with what you have posted since it lacks information needed to get them interested in joining.

Is OP aware of this and how will he address this license issue, and why New York City, you should think of moving out if you want to launch a start-up without funding, move out, find another place then just come back if you love to be located in New York City, it's an expensive city to launch any business or start-up, this is how the city makes money, through license and tax.

Well moving out from a city or a state doesn't solve any problems when it comes to building a crypto project, he still have to undergo to the necessary procedures of registering his company/foundation before making it official. I don't even know why OP is looking for developers in the first place when he/she hasn't mentioned that they are ready to run. If he is giving jobs I think people will actually believe him if he is on a operating company/project not just planning one.
126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest 10 countries that gamble the most. on: December 28, 2020, 09:55:40 AM
Look at that. I simply dont trust any of those rankings because they completely lack basis.
The source of the information is what makes the report reliable, if that source is coming from an government agency or a private intuition which is popular with doing some analytical job, then we can consider it as a reliable one though we can't say it's completely correct. Having this information is important, at least it will give us some ideas on countries where people gamble the most and we can compare the addiction rate to determine if gambling really affect the life of the people when they are gambling.

I think the confusion here lies in the OP's understanding in the graphs given since you can see the same rankings in the 2nd article clearly gives the same rankings just on another kind of ranking. Also I think the one that is confuses people here is the first article which didn't really explain what kind of ranking they are trying to show. Just remember that even if they give you a "top 10" or any kind of ranking they will have different metrics on it thus giving you discrepancies on one another.
127  Economy / Economics / Re: All people in the real world still think everything is fine !!! on: December 27, 2020, 11:59:06 PM
I've seen that in the early times before the outbreak started in the world that people even citizens are thinking that COVID-19 is isn't that serious that even country leaders and officials are saying it and maybe that is why their citizens are not making it a big deal. But if you look at documentaries from hospitals you will see that the situation is really bad. Ignorance is something that is really bad and it just makes things worst for them with regards to spreading the virus more.
128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 27, 2020, 11:34:51 PM

Honestly I don't think free agents have their sights set in AC Milan as one of their options on transferring into a team since they can't really offer anything else outside of money and most game change free agents out there will want a competitive team to sign in. There strategy right now on focusing on youth especially in there own youth academy is good since definitely they have develop a few hidden gems that has successfully transferred into the main team. Aside from that they have signed more youngsters in the past few seasons trying to gamble if they can catch a good find which they absolutely did with Leao and Hernandez.

Milan must absolutely take advantage of this favorable situation, to be at the top of the championship and try to catch some excellent players to finish the championship in a good position and reach the Champions League next year. focusing only on young players can be good for the future, but given how things are going in this league, he needs players with experience.
There is also the renewal of Donnarumma's contract, which is expiring, and I don't think it's a simple thing

Yeah that is something they need to focus on right now but honestly I think Donnarumma being a Milan player for a long time where he even went to their youth system and they are now experiencing winning games is something that will convince Donnarumma to renew his contract. Now they need to focus more on what they will be lacking in preparation for the Champions League if they will make it as well as add in a few key pieces for the Europa League which is something they need to prepare as well, because if they fail to be competitive in the Europa League I don't even think that they will be prepared to be in the UCL.
129  Economy / Speculation / Re: How is bitcoin worth buying now at these prices? on: December 27, 2020, 09:38:31 PM
For the ones who are currently holding Bitcoin they could definitely add more Bitcoin into their portfolio but for the ones who will just catch up just about now I don't think it will be a good idea for them to do so. They are practically buying Bitcoin at a price where they don't have any safety, yeah sure there is a chance that Bitcoin might continue to go up but don't forget that there is also a higher risk that it will fall down especially if a lot of traders are preparing to flood the market with their sell orders.

How do you figure that 'there is a higher risk that the BTC will fall down'? It could go in either direction. That's been proved many times so far.

I don't predict that it will but it is already given. For one buyer's confidence will drastically decrease when the price of Bitcoin will go higher without any technical supports and the other thing is about holders seeing the price of Bitcoin getting more and more attractive to bail out and take profit. I already know that most whales here as well as other traders are just waiting to short Bitcoin at any moment and they are just waiting for the right time.  It's just really about these people ready to take profit and it would be really silly for people just to catch up at this point without any kind of safety for their holdings.
130  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2020-12-22 Forbes - Massive Hack Exposes Bitcoin’s Greatest Weakness on: December 27, 2020, 08:40:45 PM
Well for me its kinda related to Bitcoin since it is a hardware wallet where you can store your Bitcoin at, we can't also just pick up some things here where we see we don't have a problem of just for debate/reasoning out purposes since we are directly affected on what happened to Ledger which they need to address. For me things like this that revolves around Bitcoin can be considered as a weakness since thousands of users are affected and I think what Forbes is saying is true that most of the users who have their data leaked will not be happy about what had happened.
Your comment doesn't make any sense. Ledger's fault is not related to any bitcoin weaknesses because there are none! Ledger's data breach is solely dependant on Ledger's lack of security when handling sensitive users' data.

So are you just saying that a hardware wallet that stores Bitcoin is not related to Bitcoin? I know ledger is a company and is benefiting from Bitcoin users but it doesn't mean that they aren't related to Bitcoin just because they aren't the developers of Bitcoin. Hardware wallets regardless of what brand they are are stll related to Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in general since they are widely use in the industry thus I am counting them as related to Bitcoin's weakness. It's the same thing as Electrum having vulnerabilities in their old versions and is heavily link to Bitcoin.
131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 27, 2020, 07:14:08 PM
According to some news, Real Madrid are targeting Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden. He hasn't had much playing time so far and Real Madrid hope that they could exploit the situation and sign him. I think Foden is a very talented and promising player and he can prove himself better at Real Madrid.

And knowing that he is in Manchester City I believe they will be asking a ridiculous price for him maybe even triple his market value. Now I know that Real Madrid has made several big transfers in the past but knowing that they are also hit financially during the pandemic I don't think they will be doing some big moves now, it is evident in their recent transfers which they didn't sign any new players except players on loan. They even sold several players in the process which I expect them to do so if they are planning to sign a big name player.
132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 27, 2020, 06:17:22 PM
~snip

For me, I don't see it as an issue. Just give the kid a break.

It's like Lonzo when he entered the league. Lonzo's debut game was only 3 points in 29 minutes. But in their next game, he grabbed 29 points. Let's see if LaMelo will show good numbers on their next game.

Not expecting they will live on the hype but I'm sure they will have good progress.

Debut games won't be always ending up on good scores. I agree that this isnt been a hype and give those kids some time. They might havent able to get some good start up but this is still a long path to go and make some show-off.

It isnt really much of an isssue yet they wont really be picked out for nothing.

I don't see that it being a debut game is an issue since Ball already underwent to several preseason games and all of those games it didn't went well aside from that his debut game doesn't have any pressure at all without any noises of fans disturbing his performance but he didn't made it through. His 2nd performance he didn't really improve at all with only 13 pts with 6 rebounds and 1 ast for a point guard which I don't think is really good for a PG.
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No price correction for bitcoin? Did it already happen? on: December 26, 2020, 11:44:34 PM
TBH I have to agree with you bro I have been expecting for a big correction up until now but to my surprise Bitcoin has been defying a lot of tradition technical analysis which I have been doing. Bitcoin still continues to go up without any kind of significant increase in its volume which is truly frightening to see since on a trader's perspective we might see a really big dip when the time a massive selling starts added by FUD. That's why if you are still holding right now I will continue to monitor the prices and see the next move I will be doing.

There you have it: another great clickbait attempt. If Ledger does not know how to handle sensitive users data what does this have to do with bitcoin weaknesses?
That is not some bitcoin weakness

Well for me its kinda related to Bitcoin since it is a hardware wallet where you can store your Bitcoin at, we can't also just pick up some things here where we see we don't have a problem of just for debate/reasoning out purposes since we are directly affected on what happened to Ledger which they need to address. 136  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Cayman Island trying to become the next crypto friendly nation on: December 26, 2020, 09:09:52 PM
One of the favorite spots for the rich that hide their money away from the governments. You don't need Cayman Islands to hide your money from the government since you can buy crypto anonymously but you need a place to spend it. Hopefully they mean this by "being friendly to crypto". If they are going to ask questions like "what is the source of your funds?" now that wouldn't be very friendly.

People pointed out earlier that there are more than about hiding money since bank secrecy law is something that is inevitable to change or be removed in certain types of scenarios. Cayman Islands like what others have pointed out is a financial hub for the rich who wants these companies found in Cayman Islands to be the one managing there investments and I think them implementing cryptocurrencies as one of their investment products is something that would attract certain investors that have a higher risk tolerance.
137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 26, 2020, 08:20:56 PM
It is true that AC Milan's finances are not as big as Juventus or Inter Milan, so AC Milan has to find good players at low prices. The best solution is
to bring in players who have run out of contracts, so they can get free players. But also be careful when recruiting free players, not all free players
are eligible to sign.

Papu Gomez is very suitable to play for AC Milan but unfortunately the price is too expensive and also Papu Gomez is more interested in joining
Juventus. If in the end it fails to bring in new players, no problem. Because I see with the current player, Stefano Pioli is able to make AC Milan
become a strong team and difficult to beat. I am optimistic that AC Milan can win the Serie A trophies this season.

Honestly I don't think free agents have their sights set in AC Milan as one of their options on transferring into a team since they can't really offer anything else outside of money and most game change free agents out there will want a competitive team to sign in. Bayern Munich must extend his contract and he is unlikely to leave. I don't hear that Alaba feels unhappy in Munich. So, it is a very small chance for Man United to sign him. Moreover, he is still one of the key players in Bayern Munich, the coach shouldn't let him go. If Solskjaer wants a new defender, I think he shouldn't expect for Alaba.

For a 28 year old defender who is still in his prime I think it is obvious that he will want to have the biggest contract he will get entering into his best years which I think will mostly mean that he might look for options on which team can give it, obviously other competitive teams will try to sign him and he might also look on which team has the best chances of winning the UCL final. He will be in high demand and I think Bayern Munich will have a hard time keeping him.
139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 25, 2020, 07:26:44 PM
In other news, AC Milan maybe buy 3 players in January,

1 Defender, with option: Mohamed Simakan (Strasbourg), Ozan Kabak (Schalke 04), or Jerome Boateng (Bayern Munchen)

1 Midfielder with option: Boubakary Soumare (Lille), Luis Alberto (Lazio), or Papu Gomez (Atalanta)

1 striker with option: Memphis Depay (Lyon), Gianluca Scamacca (Genoa) or Luka Jovic (Real Madrid)

source: Local news

One thing is for sure bro rumors will always be rumors whether or not it is a local or foreign source I even have a felling that 90% of the time they are the ones who are starting the rumors without any source and is just hoping that it will grow and just become a possibility. This is how football news media work they will link players and team heavily but when the transfer window opens you won't hear a thing, you won't even see both parties having in contact with each other.
140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 25, 2020, 06:46:54 PM
I'm surprised that nobody here in the thread is talking about Lamelo Ball's scoreless NBA debut, I mean it was the first time since Otto Porter who was a top 3 pick who went scoreless on their nba debut. He literally just have 3 AST, 2 steals, and a rebound which I don't think is worthy to be a top 3 pick in the NBA. He was really hyped up by the media so I think people really think he is a good player but let see it was just his first game of the regular season and he can still improve.
