901  Economy / Speculation / Re: For real? on: June 16, 2020, 10:42:28 PM
Predictions without an analysis or any kind of explanation why he had set that target price is something for me hard to believe in since it makes me feel like he just throwed in a number and let the readers guess why its that number, it also closes any kind of debate whatsoever not unless your analysis is completely different on what he is guessing. Also the article pointed out that he is a cou-founder of a crypto analysis company so there's really no point of him saying any negative opinion with top cryptocurrencies, this tweet might just be a marketing strat set by him for people to get interested in his business.
902  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help in offering computer help services on: June 16, 2020, 09:48:21 PM
I have been using Microsoft teams for the past 5 months now and it is a great app if you know how to use it?

I recommend you to use this app as it does allow you to share your screen with others you can ask the user to follow the screens and then can guide him to resolve the issue.

You do not need to take control of thier screens. You can also create possible scenario PPT which you can show them in live conversation.

Yeah this might solve OP's problem when it comes to the client having trust issues with his services since the client has the full control of his own computer, however will the clients actually like this kind of service? Where they asked to be instructed by the service provider? On my part if I'm a client and I'm paying I personally don't think it would be a great idea if solving my own pc will require me to do even half of the work. It might be best for the OP to only build his reputation for his work and I know this is his best way to be trusted in his business. Also MS Teams also have a "Give Control" function that lets you permit someone to gain access in your shared screen.
903  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitwings promises smartphone that can mine 2 ETH/month. Ponzi scheme? on: June 16, 2020, 07:29:51 PM
Mining on a mobile phone? We all know that this could do more damage to the phone itself rather than profit from it anything? I've seen in the past both apple and android app stores removing apps related to mining as they stated that it could decrease your phone's battery life much faster because mining softwares in phones are designed to utilize the 100% processing phone at it can make your phone's temps to rise up even higher compared to graphically challenging mobile games. If this thing is true even if the phone is 900 bucks I don't think mining 2 ETH per month is even enough for your capital to return, the phone will be not operational before you get your investment back.

And check this out the phone is even part of the mobile world congress last 2019.
904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Media Titan w/ Over 144 Million Readers Tests Ripple-Backed Coil for Web Monetiz on: June 16, 2020, 05:50:01 PM
I think that a lot of high traffic websites are implementing Coil in their websites as there is no disadvantage with it. It's their way of earning extra amounts of cash passively from their content viewers and this is a big advantage of websites with high traffic even if the rates of Coil is only .36$ per hour on each client the micropayments they will receive will be big if they have millions of viewers. However this impact might be not that big considering that not all views can be monetized since only Coil Members who are viewing your content can be monetize so this might just be a fraction of your total viewers.
905  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Selling bitcoin for paypal. Do I need a license to do this/ need tax advice. on: June 16, 2020, 04:07:26 PM
If you are in a AML-strict country I think it's best that you have proper documentation with the transactions you will make with him. You may even ask his valid IDs as a way of proof that you have indeed a customer and this will be easier for the authorities if they somehow question him about the transaction he is making with you. Keeping all the invoices, tx ids, as well as connecting the Paypal payments and the tx ids should also be documented so that you are prepared when someone will question you. This will also make it easier for you on keeping track the profit you will be making.
906  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-06-10]Pentagon Docs Reveal The U.S. Has Planned For A Bitcoin Rebellion on: June 16, 2020, 03:30:52 PM
What has changed since the last Presidential election? During the last Presidential election Donald Trump surrounded himself with Bitcoin supporters and now suddenly his government has gone the opposite direction.  Roll Eyes  Was this just election promises or was this sparked by some event that happened?

This might give us a clue... " Trump registered as a Republican in Manhattan in 1987 and since that time has changed his party affiliation five times. " - Source : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_positions_of_Donald_Trump

I think his ""Americanism, not globalism" credo also explains a lot in this shift against Bitcoin, because Bitcoin is a global currency and it is a direct competition for the US Dollar.  Roll Eyes

The title given by Forbes was very misleading as it doesn't talk about any kind of plans on how they will have a "rebellion" against Bitcoin since the article is mainly talking about how the Zbellion and how they can stop it since Bitcoin transactions cannot be controlled by the government. In this part as well they have no mentions on any kind of legal action against Bitcoin transactions, I'm just surprised that Forbes created a clickbait title which is rarely seen.
907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 16, 2020, 02:44:40 PM

I'm with you, Lebron is good but in terms of Leadership I like "THE CLAW" Kawhi Leonard as he is willing to take the last shot, the last season, in the playoffs and NBA finals, there's a lot of highlights we can see how Leonard carry his team, including a thrilling win over the sixers as after that win, they never struggle anymore winning the NBA Finals.

Yeah, you're right, there's no doubt how good player Lebron is, but when it comes to leadership with the team, he lacks the skills and he always choose the best of the players out there. unlike Leonard, he is one of the reasons why we know the other players in Raptors like Siakam and the others. He proved that everyone can do his own game if given chance to play well. no sugar coating but I like how Leonard passes the ball to let his teammates shine on every game.

I couldn't say that I can agree on both of you. Lebron James is somehow a good leader and it has been proven a lot on some of his videos found in Youtube (mostly in CAVS uniform) that when he is in the sidelines he sometimes is the one making plays and not the coach, during time outs you will see him making strategies, while he is a point guard you will see him calling out plays, while he is in the bench you will see him cheer and sometimes be hype up when his teammates make an awesome play. These are just a few examples showing that Lebron is indeed a good leader.
908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum Classic undervalued? on: June 15, 2020, 11:35:13 PM
When it comes to cryptocurrencies in general you can't really say if it is undervalued  or overvalues since you don't have the data to do so. To know of something is under or over valued you must know first the fair market value of it which in the crypto induatry you won't be able to also identify since what we only have is the current present price for it. ETCs are not like security tokens where you can directly connect that token to a company's financial performance you just basically have supply and demand and the best way to you if you want to profit from it is through technical analysis.
909  Other / Meta / Re: Could we have a standard to announce open spots in signature campaigns? on: June 15, 2020, 09:12:59 PM
I believe that the member posting their applications right away without reading first is the problem here and not the bounty manager. Even if the bounty manager hasn't posted anything yet for example members see that a user has been removed from the campaign through the spreadsheet immediately you will see a lot of applications even before the bounty manager has posted anything about an availability yet, basically these members just assume that there is an open spot because of the removal. Instead of having some kind of standard I would encourage members to read first rather than post anything.
910  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC to fall to 8470? Trading Analysis (Technical Only)! on: June 15, 2020, 07:12:01 PM
This is what I don't like about diagonal trend lines because literally analyst can start of anywhere they want just to show the outcome they think that will happen. Some people start of drawing their trend lines at the base while some like in this chart started of with the tail and you should take note that the trendline wasn't even plotted correctly on how the analyst continued to draw the line without touching any other tails. In that chart yes Bitcoin may have broken down the medium up trend but in some charts that you will see in tradingview you will see that Bitcoin hasn't broken any kind of support yet. I think it is also important to point out that the last candle in the chart shows a long tail at the bottom showing price rejection from the bears just like the tail during March 15 which after 2 days we have seen Bitcoin's up trend.
911  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving economy at the cost of what? on: June 15, 2020, 05:37:25 PM
With the exemption of Vietnam you will see that most of the countries didn't risk to have an early lockdown or quarantine due to the hit their economy will take when most of their activity will be shutdown. Now they are risking the health of their own citizens by lifting the lockdown prematurely just to save the economy and keep it up and running so this time I don't think most of the governments have a choice but to lift the lockdown. I do think their only gameplan now is wait for a cure to arrive rather than contain it further now judging on how I read the news. Your statement about disposable masks isn't entirely correct, yeah the whole country might be wearing protective masks but if they always touch their face as well as move around their face masks they are just as good as wearing without them.
912  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: seems like bitcoin is too slow to progress on: June 15, 2020, 04:12:58 PM
Why does new projects and developments translate to that crypto being adopted more? Isn't it not? More often than not this is how crypto devs will try to fool you with their visions, new developments, and roadmaps just for you to think that their project is promising but at the end you won't see these cryptos that they are promoting having no real world us in terms of it being a currency. Look at XRP now where you will see dozens of partnerships with big companies yet you will fail to see it being accepted as a payment more compared to Bitcoin. At least with Bitcoin we have a chance of it being use more with its global presence as well as companies starting to shift their heads with Bitcoin I know that in the future Bitcoin will be a widely accepted currency as payment.
913  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins can hit either $8k or bounce back to $10k - volatile times are back? on: June 15, 2020, 03:21:50 PM
Bitcoin just lost around 600$ of there value and then suddenly a lot of people are getting bearish sentiments with BTC? We are still in the 9,200$ level and there are no signs of reversals happening which is neither good or bad since this just shows that Bitcoin is still consolidating, other than that the volume pretty much tells us that there is no "panic" happening in the market as it is really weak showing no signs of support on a potential downtrend. In this times where 200-600$ price movements happen with Bitcoin I won't really jump into any kind of conclusion that Bitcoin is indeed moving upwards or downwards.
914  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ] QBTC scam chinese exchange! on: June 14, 2020, 09:55:28 PM
! Update about QBTC scam !

- Website is down and not working anymore!
https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/qbtc.me

If it is really down then why I am able to visit the website now?

If they are already busted by the police then why is there website still up and running? Can you give us a link about any official statement from the authorities about this QBTC exchange with any of their official statements about it because it seems like I cannot find anything about it. Reading screenshots of the supposedly QBTC exchange's telegram account wouldn't be enough to say that the police have indeed catch them for all we know this Telegram account isn't even real. The threads you also have provided from the forum doesn't really justify the exchange being a scam and it only spread doubt rather than a clear answer of it being a scam.
Are you blind or what?
No need to write crap question just to fill your signature campaign.

You use brain and your eyes to look posted images and information,
or look in their official Telegram:
https://t.me/QBTCexchangeEN/2286
https://t.me/QBTCexchangeCN
Telegram account IS real and OFFICIAL, and youu can try send them Bitcoin and then try to withdraw for test  Grin

I can only assume you are maybe somehow connected with this scam!

Bro if you can't honestly answer replies or questions like this then I don't think you are prepared to create an accusation against them. Obviously if they are really having trouble against the police their websites should be down right now which in fact until now they aren't. I'm not saying that they are clean but what I am really saying is they might just be using the police as an excuse just for their users not to be able to withdraw their funds. And if you are really looking for the truth then why are you still using their Telegram channels to find proof against them? It's like a murderer trying to give you the murder weapon just to bust them.
915  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is Pump and Dump Scheme? on: June 14, 2020, 07:40:09 PM
Almost all the trading signal groups are associated with pump and dump group. Last year, I was offered to join such a group; that's how I discovered that all these group provide trading signal to gather newbie investors and pump certain coin to achieve their goal. Most of their signal followers get ripped off most of times.

Trading signal channels in Telegram groups are indeed meant for pumping and dumping shitcoins. Most of them will give you "signals" of an unknown cryptocurrency available in either a small crypto exchange or just a few crypto exchanges this just gives you an idea why the hell are they recommending a unknown crypto for you to buy and gives you an specific time and date on when it will be pumping. Of course the signal they just gave to you is really not meant for you to profit but for their anticipation to profit people who fell victim to this kind of scam are always the ones who are dependent to what they are seeing and always believe in it rather than do real research about why they are recommending it.
916  Economy / Reputation / Re: [37+] Alt] Breaking rule 25. on: June 14, 2020, 06:28:50 PM
Because they have lots of Alt accounts 'of course' they use different ETH addresses to enter into the campaign to cheat.

Is it possible that this is only controlled by one individual? Since the connections somehow overlap with one or more instances saying that this user is only using an ETH address that he randomly picks that time. One thing to note as well some users listed in the "active accounts" can't be considered as active anymore since a lot of them are inactive in a sense that their last activity in the forum is either in 2018 and 2019, to be exact among the first eleven accounts you included in the "active accounts" list only mycrypto93, dedeajah, and 21onyong can be considered active accounts in the forum.
917  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: SEC asset freeze "Modern Money Team" on: June 13, 2020, 08:57:21 PM
It will be interesting to see how long this criminals will serve jail time. This is no joke, that's a lot of money "stolen" to begin with. They have violated "Section 10(b) and Rule 10b-5 thereunder of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Section 17(a) of the Securities Act of 1933". I'm not a lawyer but it seems that this is a Federal law, so probably more than 10 - 20 years?
We all know how justice system works in the US, and that the law they violated seems very hard to win so probably the judge will handed them jail time just like the rest of criminals who violated the SEC Act of 1934, swift and hard 25 years max.

I did a little research about this one and for investment as well as securities scams in the United States most of the economical related crimes don't reach the maximum penalty in the US since I think this is not the kind of crime the US sees a maximum penalty is worth it for criminals, investment scams can be counted as white collar crimes where they are punished softer compared to violent crimes. The United States Sentencing Commission provided a data where it said that crimes related to investment only averaged for 54 months in prison sentencing.
918  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-06-11] China is losing its dominance over Bitcoin mining industry: report on: June 12, 2020, 09:18:22 PM

In any case, the miners in China should begin to find other countries with cheap electricity. I speculate war coming in the South China sea region and this might change the political landscape that might become unpredictable for local and foreign businesses.

Isn't this old news already?

Chinese Miners Negotiate With Iranian Leaders to Set Up Mining Operations in the Free Trade Zones
Big Chinese Bitcoin Miners Are Turning to Canada

From what I know after the 2017 bull run a lot of Chinese mining firms are already trying to migrate out of China in order to find cheaper electricity or a better legal status in crypto mining for the longevity of their operations so I wouldn't be surprised if they are losing their grip in their own mining firms. I mean we have seen news some mining farms being flooded in China so there is also a factor of them losing their strength in that department. If their own government doesn't love and support them then I don't think they will really decide to stay for long running their operations in China because other countries are giving a better alternative.
919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 12, 2020, 07:48:58 PM
I get the David one, he is a good player and he is only 20 years old so I think he would be a great transfer wherever he ends up. If you have seen him play he both has great talent but he also takes advantage of the fast pace football of Belgium as well. I think if you want him on a premier league team it would have to be some team that plays a fast pace, Arsenal and United doesn't feel like those teams, I would say the perfect place for him would be Leicester City.

Hwang on the other hand is not really that great of a transfer, he is 24 years old and he showed everyone what he can do, sure he might peak more but he is not going to be a Werner for sure. Werner wasn't world star Messi, Ronaldo type of player but he was at least a good star everyone knew, Hwang can't reach to that level.

From what I know Belgium's football league, Jupiler Pro League, isn't one of the top leagues in Europe yes Belgium produces top players but you can't say that the same caliber of competitiveness can be seen in the Belgian league biggest proof of that is how Belgian teams like Anderlecht or Club Brugge fails to impress in the Champions League. David might be a good player in Jupiler Pro League but you can't say the same thing when he transfers to a league like EPL. Yes he is 20 years old and we might consider it young but in the football world David cannot be counted as a wonderkid anymore what we are seeing now might just be his peak form in a lower tier European league.
920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The U.S. Has Planned For A Bitcoin Rebellion on: June 12, 2020, 06:02:34 PM
The article itself from Forbes doesn't give much description to what the war games is actually is but they are more pointing out to the idea on how this "Zbellion" group can be stopped to funding organizations that are against the US government but since they are doing Bitcoin transactions the authorities doesn't have any power to freeze fundings happening through the Bitcoin network unlike their power to freeze bank transactions or anything that involves another business doing the transaction. With regards to Bitcoin having legal trouble in the US the article didn't mention or hinted any kind of legal action being done by the government so I think they are just focusing on how they will stop this group rather than the whole crypt industry.
