1201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How will you feel if it happens to you just like this? on: September 24, 2023, 10:32:22 PM
I can still relate to this even if I just gamble for fun because there are times that you regret not betting like there are games that my friends asked me to bet on and I tried to analyze that team and it has a huge percentage of winning but the problem is that I didn't bet because my salary is still not in and my extra money is intended for the food at that time so after the game I regretted not to risk that money I have and I would have gotten money on it but I am the kind of person that easily moves on so I just enjoyed myself and still I can sleep well at night.

Just move on if you regret not betting because you are only the one who struggles and still it is useless to feel that regret for a few days as you cannot take back the time that you can bet.
True. There's no time machine in gambling so it's useless to stay regretting when you could have move on and try another luck at it's right timing. Although this is not new anymore to me because I have been dealing this especially in my newbies days but I realized that you cannot let the world keeps on favoring you. Sometimes you also need to lose and minimize those impulsive decisions that you will get easily carried away. If you can't win in your present bets, probably there's more of opportunities waiting ahead so never regret if you didn't get to win this time.
1202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you manage your money on gambling sites. on: September 24, 2023, 01:51:22 PM
It’s obvious that they do it for show off since they are trying to convince their audience about their winning bets. Maybe after screen shot, they eventually withdraw their balance or most likely they will use those amount to make another bet. But if you are a professional gambler, you will never leave a huge balance in any gambling site. That’s too risky on your part, as you can lose that amount anytime when the site becomes instantly inaccessible due to site problems that suddenly arise.
1203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some good, trusty casinos that support crypto as payment? on: September 24, 2023, 12:51:47 PM
I think the simpler way to find that good casino of your choice is to look at the signatures on the forum, I believe that every casino that is advertising their self through the forum signature are all crypto casinos, so you can make your choice there.

I decided to suggest this because, currently, there are really alot of great crypto casinos, they are several and this makes it impossible to mention one and leave the other, doesn't feel right with me, so picking one from the signature will definitely be the best idea, and right now, I don't think there is any gambling casino to avoid that is currently running a signature on the forum, every casino running signature ads on the forum are all trusted.
I share the same opinion. It’s hard to mention those reputable crypto casinos without leaving the other so its best you do your own research in the forum. Those who have been running long signature campaigns might be of your interest as they become more reputable while they stay longer in the market. Also, try to look on the casinos mentioned above as they can be highly reliable as well and just fit in yourself where you think you can be more comfortable to gamble with.
1204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No KYC vs KYC enabled casinos (Facts you need to know) on: September 24, 2023, 11:55:48 AM
The people have already made their choice, and it's clear they prefer a KYC casino over a non-KYC casino. I believe it's more appropriate to refer to it as 'decentralized gambling' because some casinos claim to be non-KYC but are still regulated. It's important to question the longevity of such claims. When a casino is regulated, it's obligated to adhere to the implementing rules set by regulators, including KYC compliance. So, it's wise not to trust those that claim to be non-KYC casinos.
Exactly. Those who claimed as non-KYC casinos are most of the time only here to deceive us with its name, but in reality they are still regulated and should follow the rules of those who regulate them. So if you want to play on casinos safely and securely, just chose those who are clearly regulated casinos. Even if KYC is compulsory, but it’s only for our own security and to avoid cases of fraudulence on part of the casinos.
1205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling game is not good and everyone should stay away from it on: September 23, 2023, 10:28:21 PM
If you think you are weak and might easily fall on the trap of gambling, then it’s the best decision to avoid it and not even start gambling in the first place. Otherwise, you will only live with regrets because you become a gambling addict and now things have been so hard for you to even recover. However, gambling may be productive and profitable for those who can put limits to theirselves. And for those who only gamble just to find pleasure in their games, and not really gambling to make more money and earn a living.
1206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Practices for Staying Safe When Gambling with Cryptocurrency on: September 22, 2023, 11:25:56 PM
I would add one more important thing, which is that you should not gamble with money for which you do not have a valid proof of origin - because I recently read a case where a user won almost $4 million with a deposit of $100k, and now the casino refuses to pay him win because he still hasn't been able to show them where the money he gambled with came from.
The casino should have verify it at the start and not only when the bettor is already at it's winning stage. Probably the casino has also its fault. But we can't force the casino to pay the winning amount especially if they found out that the bettor is a money launderer. He might be even banned instead.
1207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Warning] Don't share your casino account! on: September 22, 2023, 10:39:49 PM
Definitely not. Thanks for the reminder anyway. That is still my privacy so there’s no reason that I will disclose it to others. As long as there’s KYC attached in it, once you share it to others so it’s like you’re allowing them to do harm to your account, and worst to your own identity as it might be easier for them to do that since they have access on your account. But I also believe that some would still fall for this especially that the other party will promise you an irresistible amount.
1208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Gambling to the society on: September 22, 2023, 09:44:35 AM
For me gambling was more about fun, than something serious. I think the role of gambling in society is another source of entertainment, yet only individuals only have serious life changing problems with gambling. Remove gambling from society, and we would get a huge number of people who wont know how to relax, to release steam. I am not talking about addicted people right now. Remove gambling, and a lot of people wont know what to do. Who knows what those people could do during free time. Who knows what bad things some people would do, when they can be busy gambling instead.

If the society is to cancel gambling today, there are going to be lots of jobless people without hope and future. I understand that even a gambler hate to see people say gambling is addictive but with time, I realizes that is true because been addicted to something doesn't mean you become irresponsible, you can be addicted to pressing your phone each time you wake up from the bed in the morning, does that affect? Maybe individual difference answers will be different but to me, there is none and this is same to gambling. With addiction, people see gambling as means to make some cool cash any day luck shines on you.

If gambling doesn't exist tomorrow, there is going to be a decline in sport activity, some people will not have something that will motivate them again because gambling and sports are mutually inclusive. Don't be surprised if the world experience increased in alcohol in take because may people take their time to gamble and have fun instead of alcohol consumptions.
Both drinking alcohol  and gambling can be addictive, but the only difference is that drinking does not make you profitable at all unlike what gambling does especially to lucky gamblers. That is why gambling creates more opportunities to make money, but only for those who really know how to manage their gambling habits and expense. Also, gambling can be a good source for socialization wherein you can go out from your comfort zone and develop new skills that pertains to gambling. However, it’s still important to gamble with caution as that will keep you safe from the danger in gambling.
1209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Experience for new and old gambler? on: September 22, 2023, 07:41:42 AM
Uhhhh, I feel this ain't even about who started off first, this is about who's been more regular on this shit.... The other fellow might have stacked his houses and cars whatever,.. but, if this new dude becomes more consistent on staking 'em cash and coins, mahn, the possibilities of becoming an addict is damn,..100%
Any habit that evolves into an addiction has been nursed steadily with consistency - so how much you've spent and how long you've been gambling doesn't constitute to anything there.

Sandra 🧑‍🦰
Gambling addiction becomes harder to break when most of your time are into gambling. So I agree that this is not about who gamble first but who gamble most often and spend all his time and money into betting. With that, it clearly shows that you are no longer in control of yourself since you fall into the trap of gambling and you chose to rely more on luck to earn a living than to find a real job that will help you in your daily survival.
1210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are no KYC casinos taking risks? on: September 21, 2023, 10:46:04 PM
Fraud cases are becoming a real problem for gambling industry, from schemes like bonus hunting, account farming, account hijacks and illicit chargebacks on the rise I believe that many new casinos aren't prepared for the menace ahead.

Some casinos still believe that not asking for KYC is cool, but it's actually not, I see casinos with no kyc as a red flag because you can't run your business this way without getting into trouble with regulators.

Casinos neglect identity check but little did they know that they can be fined for it, if fraud cases arise from your casino and it's been investigated, your business is going away soon or you pay up for fine. One, for failing to screen customers using the KYC process, two, for possible running of unregistered casino.

Do you think your casino can be regulated without the AML policy? The requirements says it's all, so is it possible that those casinos doing their no KYC stuffs are not even registered?
They're probably registered but they're not following the rules intended for casinos. With that, the gamblers will be put at a high risk. KYC should be made compulsory so that if there will be unpredicted money laundering at the middle of gambling, the casino will immediately identify who is at fault, otherwise if they fail to do that, the regulators or the people in authorities might put the casino subject for investigation.
1211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When Gamblers Fail to Read a Casino's Terms and Conditions on: September 21, 2023, 09:59:51 PM
That's when wrong accusations start to arise. Perhaps because of laziness or they are just greedy to jump into gambling. And when things did not work according to their plan, that's when they start accusing the casino for not being fair on their players or users. That's the reason why some got banned in a certain casino, or it's just that when people are in the losing end, they start to put the blame on the casino because their games or rigged or worst they accuse the casino as a scammer.
1212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting significant amount on: September 21, 2023, 03:14:19 PM

If you seek out to satisfy your thrills, it's always satisfying to go all in the remaining bankroll in one bet max out. The win will be satisfying especially when it's the last one after the losing streak when you apply the martingale. Yep, I have done this and sometimes regret comes after losing it all.

I couldn't remember how many times I tried this but it always lost it all. Sometimes I win but the next few hours, the house takes it all back.
I am also doing the same thing, betting all in with my remaining bankroll but most of the time, I end up not being satisfied because I terribly used up all of its remaining amount. However, probably once or twice, I end up winning a huge bet but since greed is always present in a gambler, all my profits have gotten back to the house. This has always happened to me, but until now I’m still not learning from it and still continue to bet all in.
1213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When the fun stops on: September 20, 2023, 10:58:42 PM
As long as you are making a good amount in gambling, I believe you are also being entertained. But when you experience consistent losing, that's when the fun stops. Instead, you no longer experience the fun because you are pressured to recover your losses and win more profits. That is the reason why at some point, gamblers lost the real essence of gambling and just gamble to earn a living. When the time comes that you will find yourself uncontrollable, that's where gambling addiction follows.
1214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the drive that makes women go into gambling? on: September 20, 2023, 10:36:42 PM
I think for many women some of the few reasons they go into gambling, is that gambling provides them with the opportunity to be sociable and enjoy time with friends and also use it to escape boredom loneliness or even stress, excitement is also part of the reasons why women goes into gambling the sense of winning creates an additional anticipation of something bigger having the spotlight on you as a winner can make you feel good even for a brief moment. This has eventually turn into frequent trips or long session in gambling.
People goes to gamble for main reason, that is to earn money and increase their profits. Even women would see it as their first goal. Socializing and making new friends are just some of the little factors that make them excited to gamble. But I don't think married women are still capable of doing this. Enough for them to see their men gambling, and just consider theirselves as home buddy while taking care of their kids.
1215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never gamble in front of your kids. on: September 20, 2023, 01:34:09 PM
Kids are certainly keen observant on whatever they see on their environment. That is why as parents, we should be more vigilant not to let them see the things that will ruin their future, most particularly with gambling. Never expose them about money and betting, as they will immediately think that it can also be good for them since you are making good profit from it. And as much as possible, we should make them understand that kids are not supposed to make profits, it’s only for responsible adults, but give their full attention on their studies as education could be a lifetime wealth that cannot steal from them.
1216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Gambling affect your relationship? on: September 20, 2023, 12:37:00 PM
Obviously we’ve all heard stories of someone spending their family’s life savings on gambling over and over again until their family leaves them. I’ve even seen this first hand with one of my personal friends growing up. It’s a weird problem to have a family member constantly losing their money gambling, but it’s a common one. Some people just shouldn’t gamble.
That is why gambling should not be for everyone. Although we all have freedom to gamble and be entertained, but some gamblers have hard time controlling their emotions and urges to gamble and eventually found theirselves into gambling addiction. And when it happens, they all lost control of their hard-earned money and spend everything until they end up being homeless. This is the reason why gambling becomes the top reason why families become broken because instead of budgeting and saving their money, gambling steal that chance and end up in a very regretting situation.
1217  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: September 20, 2023, 11:57:06 AM
Just a warning in case it prevents someone from falling into this shitty scheme.

I was checking a crypto-casino with very easy entry just asking email and country, and allowed deposits in the main cryptos. I didn't need to deposit anything to realize that to withdraw funds they did require a complete KYC with ID, etc. I also tested registering from a banned country and even indicating it on the form, and it does not prevent you from making a deposit.

I guess I stated the obvious, but I don't see the point for gamblers in using this.

This might be trapped by shady casinos. As far as I know reputable casinos prevent people from registering the moment they detected the IP of the person belonging to that banned region.  they can even give you a message that the page of the casino won't load because your region is restricted.

We should always read the TOS regarding deposits and withdrawals.  I believe the rules will be clearly stated on that page unless the casino is shady that it deliberately don't list the rulings of KY upon withdrawal on their TOS.
Right indeed. As far as I know, casinos have their set of TOS that we are obliged to read so that in instances that they suddenly require KYC, at least we’re aware that it’s listed on their TOS, and not jump to conclusion that this casino is a red flag. Sometimes, it’s not the casino that is really at fault but it’s on the gamblers that are hunger with profits and are lazy to read the terms and conditions before playing their games.
1218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 18, 2023, 04:38:50 PM
For now, Oguni is the one which Casimero needs to fight and win against. After that we will wait for any update for his next opponent
hopefully if ever, it isn't Inoue yet but someone who is also close to a belt challenger.

He might get there someday since Casimero is now ranked by most boxing councils.

Another win against Oguni, especially if that's an impressive one will boost again his ranking, and now close to being a title contender again.

And no need for those fans to be worried since there's no plan for Inoue to move up if he wins against Tapales, at least "for now". Adding to that, if Tapales won instead and upset The Monster, Casimero would now be close to facing Inoue much more. But that was too early to think.
Casimero just needed to be consistent in winning his future fights including this bout so that he will move, even if it's just a decision, the important thing is that he will win. But if ever he can do a knockout result, then he should do it in this fight so that people will again get excited and will start calling for a fight, we never know, something might happen that we have already waited for a long time now.

If ever Tapales wins, he will have more chances. I'd say that he should fight Tapales first so that if he can win, Inoue himself will come for him. No need to call him as Casimero will be a target as he will be the new belt holder.
1219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 18, 2023, 04:08:59 PM

Bivol I do agree that he seems to duck him, he doesn't want to fight him at 175 lbs because he is at a disadvantage basing on the result of the first fight. For Benavidez, Canelo says that he hasn't face anyone yet to be sort of worthy of Canelo's time so he just ignore him for the meantime.

However, it is just ironic though that he doesn't want to fight big fighters are 168 lbs - 175 lbs and yet goes for a super welterweight at best in Jermell Charlo and then have him to 2 weight class to fight him. So yeah, maybe at this point of his career, Canelo is looking for less risk but bigger rewards in terms of paycheck but not legacy.

Possible, as he knows that his time is already nearing to his retirement and to preserve your value in this line of business/sport you need to keep winning, less risk but fruitful money benefits, wise mindset from a fighter who bring lots of sale when making a fight, though not just for him but also for an opponent that he will deal his fight, sure profits just be inside sharing the ring with Canelo.

More on the money side as he already got his name on top, now he's just protecting what he needs to protect to keep his name up
and still gaining that hype in each fight that he may take.

He already knows that money will always follow him because he got his own country who will back him but he needed someone who also got a big name to make the equation more better and fit as that will generate him more profits compared if he will just have any fight against unknown boxers, like John Ryder for example who doesn't really ring a bell to any of our ears. I mean, it's quite obvious already since he's been cracked already and boxers will likely approach him to do the same thing.
1220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Experience for new and old gambler? on: September 18, 2023, 10:46:35 AM
Do you think it is the same experience for a gambler who has practically experienced and been involved in gambling evolution since gambling was on the street side with personal belongings or money, to spaces and buildings for gambling with money, to gambling with money online, and now to gambling with cryptocurrency online with a gambler who has experienced a few or just one of the forms of gambling? whose addiction will be harder to break?
Addiction may develop in both ways but I think it’s harder to control addiction in this new era wherein with just one click away, you are already betting on an online gambling site. Especially that internet connection is everywhere, and as long as you have reserved funds in your wallet, it’s certainly more tempting these days to gamble more consistently until you ran out of your funds. Thus, gambling addiction rate has even surge high when online gambling has occurred, and if you have no control of your gambling habit, you will definitely see yourself in a huge mess.
