Since today my wallet keeps stuck at "loading adresses" on startup. I removed the wallet (backed up wallet.dat).
I redownloaded the wallet from hypercrypto.com, everything went fine. But now that I downloaded the hyper bootstrap.rar and put into Appdata its getting stuck again. Once it finishes (if it does), I will import my wallet.dat again.
Is there anything I could do to speed it up?
What number of block was when you get stuck again? Im have same situation but my wallet sync after 4 hours at first time, and now all its works good,wait a little)) Yesterday night I was fully synched, then shut down my pc and now can't get my wallet to start, so I'm just seeing the rectangle with the logo and "loading adresses ..." Guys you just need to wait a few minutes when you start the wallet. It takes a while to start-up but it will be fine and reinstalling everything if you are up to date isn't necessary at all. We're working on a wallet update that will start much faster so I will have news on that soon! In the meantime just go make a coffee or do something for 5 minutes when starting the wallet and you will see it is fine. I've waited more than 5 minutes, even more than 30 minutes. I've waited approx 4 hours. I'm now trying something else which will hopefully work. Do you have an anti virus or firewall that might be blocking it? Sounds like that kind of issue to me. NEW HYPER GAME SERVER - STARMADEAs some may already know, StarMade is a new sci-fi space-sim sandbox game, similar to Minecraft. The game is still under development, but is already incredibly complex and feature-rich. I've been discussing with HYPERfuture some ideas regarding hosting a server for this awesome game, and now I'm ready to put it live. You can connect to the game at (IP:port) 96.19.173.45:4242The game is also listed on the StarMade public server list, just look for HYPER Keep in mind this is very new, so there are bound to be some kinks that will need to be worked out; please feel free to PM me if you find anything that needs to be fixed. I am also working on getting an official thread for the game started at the main HYPER forum. I am a busy guy between work and school, so I may not always be available for immediate contact, but I will try to do my best to keep things running smoothly. We have some plans for the future to run monthly tournaments and other events for players to earn HYPER, so stay alert! I would also like to get a TeamSpeak channel created specifically for StarMade, but for now "The Lounge" will do fine.  (FYI, official HYPER TS3 server is at n01.spillvert.no:10022) Added Starmade channel! Awesome sauce! Seems to be working great, and I already see people joining the game. This is gonna be fun! I found it, when I turned off my VPN it connected... Really weird, other coins connect fine trough it. Ive put in the bootstrap files again, will leave it for a while and see if it works. thanks.
No problem. That is strange about your VPN. I use it with VPN no problem. The bootstrap makes syncing MUCH easier so after the wallet loads in the blockchain files you will only have maybe an hour of syncing left until you are fully synced. |

What the hell... It just wont work. Downloaded the bootstrap, now my wallet hangs on ''loading blocks'' when opening... After this I cleared the entire Appdata/Hyper folder, now it opens again but again 0 connections.
Leave it when you first open it and give it 5 minutes or so to scan and add the new blockchain files you have just added. It can take 5-10 minutes or even longer the first time you open it as it is adding a lot of new blocks! It isn't hanging just adding the new blockchain files please try again and leave for 5-10 minutes |

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. No my firewall is not blocking it, other wallets are running fine. I just redownloaded the wallet from the OP so I think im also using the correct version. Would downloading that 400mb file help to get it connected? Yes the bootstrap will catch you up to the network very fast and also should help you find nodes when you unpack it into your HYPER folder. Otherwise you can follow the instructions in the txt document readme that shows you how to place a new hyper.conf in the appdata HYPER folder but this usually isn't necessary. I would definitely try the bootstrap and see if that solves your problems it will catch you up to the network much faster than syncing anyway The bootstrap uses the same conf as me and I have 9 connections consistently. |

Guys I'm here just been really busy with some real life stuff and arranging the HYPER PR campaign in the background. Because I think it will attract more people to play it. Can be played anywhere, and anytime, even when you're on the toilet though. and it could create widespread HYPER community. Yes we have a couple of developers looking at HYPER Android Apps No fixed date yet but it is something in the pipeline. Bit of an update guys. Don't forget the bootstrap below to sync your HYPER wallet fast! HYPER blockchain bootstrap is now live. Here's how to use it: Firstly make sure you make a backup of your wallet.dat BEFORE doing this. Also make sure your HYPER wallet is CLOSED and not running before commencing. 1.) Download the HYPER bootstrap from https://mega.co.nz/#!uR83RC6L!-OCSSqCSCvljMhnvFNP8qYU5vtANB9M3Y2TiYAQTqGU File is over 400 MB (it's a big blockchain!) so be patient while it downloads. 2.) Search in windows for %appdata% in search. Find HYPER folder and open it. 3.) Unpack the rar and copy all the files into your HYPER folder in %appdata% 4.) Replace all 5.) Open your HYPER wallet again and you should be fully synced or much closer! You just need to d/l the remaining few thousand blocks. - Also the press release is ready to go so big PR campaign for HYPER is starting today / tomorrow and will run for a week. - We also have some partnerships on twitter to help promote the $100 steam game code competition so look out for that!
